This scale is the result of French adaptation of the Moos and Trickett "Classroom Environment Scale". Fidelity (internal consistency, test-retest reliability) and discriminate validity indices were acceptable. The results showed that the classroom social climate could be considered as dependent and independent variables. This study proved that teachers' grades and achievement test scores were different according to the social environment. It enabled us to take a large number of interactions between paired variables belonging to the classroom environment as well as the pupils' personal features. Some practical implications have been drawn in order to improve the academic achievement.
