This work focuses on the experience of producing media-reviews by graduates of the Journalism course of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), between 2014 and 2016, in curricular components focused on the discussion of information and communication technologies, including those related to education. The reading and the elaboration of media-reviews, media productions about academic texts through different technologies and digital platforms, constitute a didactic strategy that involves the impacts of the digital culture in the practices of communication and education, contributing to the journalist formation. Starting from a critical and active positioning towards the media, necessary to the extent that they will act in hyper and multimedia contexts, being essential their understanding of the relation of the society with the technologies.
