The article is aimed at analyzing the domestic and foreign environment of IT services companies; identifying problems, trends and promising solutions for the development of this industry in the future, taking into account the geopolitical and regulatory changes. The article considers the essence of the information product, the evolution of the domestic market from the provision of individual outsourcing services to the development of innovative technologies and providing comprehensive solutions to the business problems of an individual client. A structural analysis of sales of products in the context of legal organization of enterprises and activities according to the CEA, and a dynamic analysis of income and contribution to GDP of the country are carried out. The balance of foreign trade in IT services, the type and geographical structure of export-import operations indicating the main trading partners are analyzed. The main companies that operate in the domestic market are named by the number of employment of professionals and the territorial priority of their location; a characterization of IT specialists of Ukraine by age, experience, level of qualification, mentality and gender, etc. is provided. The main types of activity and the availability of human resources of leading IT companies engaged in information products and having their own centers of global business are allocated. The main competitors along with competitive advantages of domestic IT specialists are determined. The main achievements of the industry are presented. Both the global and national problems of the industry are identified, in particular the impact of the COVID-factor. The main directions of problem solving in the industry environment are proposed.

The purpose of the article is to study the sphere of foreign trade in agrarian products using statistical methods and analysis of results; identifying business weaknesses in this sector, prospects and opportunities for the development of the agro-industrial sector in Ukraine. The article considers the essence of marketing research in the field of exports of agro-industrial products. The classification of agricultural products and its impact on the formation and activity of the market of agrarian complex are determined. The main commodity groups of agro-industrial products, the contribution of agriculture to the export activities of Ukraine and the role in the international market are identified. A structural analysis of exported products of the agrarian complex and a dynamic analysis on the basis of the export volumes in recent years are carried out, taking into account the division into commodity groups, according to which the progress of the export agribusiness sphere is determined. A dynamic analysis of the number of economic entities in this sphere is carried out, the factors that affect the attractiveness of the agrarian sector for doing business are defined. The commodity structure of agricultural goods is analyzed, determining the main goods in demand and the perspective directions of trade. The geographical structure of exports of agro-industrial goods is analyzed, indicating the main countries participating in the intensive trade. The impact of the COVID-factor on the development and change of agricultural export volumes is indicated. A SWOT analysis of the sphere is carried out, the main problems and possible ways of their elimination in order to further improve international trade in the field of agrarian complex are identified. A forecast of agricultural exports at the end of 2021 and for 2022 is carried out using the extrapolation method.

The article is aimed at carrying out a statistical analysis of the activities of Ukrainian enterprises providing temporary accommodation services, as well as identifying problems and providing recommendations for improving the hotel services market in view of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ukraine. The article highlights the relevance of the research and the importance of the hospitality industry in the development of the country’s economy in view of the recent events and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ukraine; the essence and types of hotel and restaurant business and services are considered; the main problems of development of domestic hotel economy, which require urgent solution, are allocated. The results of the carried out structural and dynamic analysis of the industry according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine are provided: changes in the number of accommodation facilities by types, forms of ownership and advantages in territorial placement. The tendencies in the activities of hotels and motels of legal ownership are analyzed, namely: number of units; number of visitors who stayed in them; volume of services sold in total and by regions of Ukraine, etc. As a result of the study, forecast models of the volume of implemented services of hotels and similar means are developed. New ways of development and improvement of the state and activity of the hotel and restaurant business in Ukraine are proposed, in particular due to the provision of additional services (self-isolation, doing business, nutritive conditions) and directions of using Internet marketing with parallel work in the online mode. It is concluded that for the effective work of hotel and restaurant enterprises it is necessary to introduce a system of innovative management of enterprises development aimed at increasing the level of competitiveness, individuality, adaptability, improvement, quality.

Retail trade in Ukraine demonstrates a sufficient number of market and infrastructure entities, contributes to the development of economic sectors and the seamless promotion of goods to the consumer. The article is aimed at studying the state of domestic retail trade in the context of the main indicators; problem detection; new realities and major tendencies in the future. The essence of retail trade is considered, its features and functions are substantiated; the purpose and importance among the leading sectors of the economy are identified. Leading retail chains are allocated. A characterization of the factors related to assortment, territorial location, cost control and marketing policy of leading retail operators are provided. As a result of the carried out structural and dynamic analysis of retail trade volumes, the following advantages are identified: by types of trade – non-food products; by form of ownership – legal entities; by organizational and legal forms – LLC; in the context of regions leader is the city of Kyiv. The infrastructure and volumes of retail trade over the Internet are considered. The influence of some factors on the purchasing behavior of the consumer is determined. Some forecast models of volumes of food and non-food products for 2021–2022 and development of goods turnover over the Internet for 2021 are presented. As a result of SWOT analysis, on the example of «Silpo» network, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of a retail traded chain are identified. The main problems of retail trade in Ukraine are specified, including: lack of investment due to unstable political situation and use of innovative technologies; low purchasing demand of the population; rising prices for raw materials and energy, rent, logistics, etc. Recommendations to resolve these issues are provided.

Polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are used in many areas of human activity, in the production of various goods, which is carried out mainly on the basis of imported raw materials. This production is almost entirely focused on the domestic consumption, and the pricing policy directly depends on customs duties and taxes. On the Ukrainian market are presented imported fabricated products with uprated specification, in particular, pipe products made of polymeric materials. The article is aimed at studying the volumes and structure of export-import operations of Ukraine in terms of the group «Polymeric materials, plastics and products from them», identifying problems and prospects of Ukrainian producers of pipe products and their participation in foreign economic activities. The analysis of structural changes in volumes and balance of the foreign trade in goods and services of Ukraine in dynamics is carried out; the volume of export-import operations in goods is determined; averages for the period are computed. The participation of Ukrainian enterprises in the implementation of foreign economic activities is characterized, including: quantity, regional placement in the territory of the country, the average volume of operations. The volumes and dynamics of export-import operations in the group 39 «Plastics, polymeric materials», both the commodity and the geographical structure are analyzed. The authors consider the main producers of fabricated polymer-pipe products together with the producers of domestic raw materials, their proportion in the sale of goods in the foreign market; the suppliers of imported raw materials and the impact of changes in customs tariffs and fees on prices. The range of average export-import prices for 1 kg of polyethylene pipes for the top five countries is calculated. Market problems are identified and the relevant recommendations are made.

The revenue part of the banking institution is formed mainly due to the volume of credits provided and depends on the conditions of crediting the financial services market participants. Consequently, the insufficiency or inaccessibility of credit resources adversely affects the status of the entire economy. The article is aimed at an economic and statistical analysis of the current status of credit activity of the banking system of Ukraine in the dynamic conditions of development of the national economy, identifying tendencies, substantiating the prospects for expanding and reducing the risks of credit activities of banking institutions. The role and tasks of the bank’s credit operations in the country’s economy are considered; the status of the credit portfolio of the banking system in recent years is characterized; a new redistribution of banks to groups by the structure of authorized capital and the size of assets is provided. An analysis of the volumes and structure of the banks’ assets in terms of organizational and legal forms of ownership (public, private, foreign) and the proportion of credits in the structure of assets is carried out. The authors analyze changes in the total volumes and dynamics of crediting in terms of: crediting entities; national and foreign currencies; dynamics of the exchange rate and the structure of crediting by type of activity. The impact of seasonality of credit provision is identified. An assessment of the number, structure and volumes of crediting by non-financial credit institutions is provided. The predictive models are developed using different mathematical functions and statistical methods. As a result of the carried out SWOT-analysis, the main problems and shortcomings of the banking system are identified. A project of recommendations on reducing credit risks is proposed.

The article is aimed at analyzing the state of insurance activity of Ukraine, identifying problems and finding ways to eliminate them by means of statistical research (analysis of the structure and dynamics of the insurance market; determination of seasonal fluctuations; computation of the forecast for 2020-2021) and elaborating recommendations for improvement of insurance activity in Ukraine. The relevance of this topic lies in the importance of the insurance market for the security and development of the country’s economy at all its levels. An important issue in this aspect is ensuring an efficient interaction between the political, social, economic and international spheres. Economically, insurance activity ensures the demand of people in protection by providing an insurance service (certificate of insurance). Insurance takes effect in the form of conditions and types that subjects must choose and perform. The overall meaning of the insurance market is to meet the needs of insurance protection. The article is concerned with researching the nature, position and level of development of insurance activity in Ukraine. An analysis of insurance market indicators is carried out and a forecast is made in order to allocate the prospects and problems of development of this sphere of activity in Ukraine. Insurance is a means of security provision and is used in all spheres and links of life: the State, population, business, etc. The possibility of insurance allowed to create preconditions for reducing the negative impact of certain contingencies, starting with a natural disaster and up to insurance of financial transactions. The main problem of insurance in Ukraine is its insufficient development, which interferes with its participation in the improvement of the economic state of the country.

The publication is aimed at analyzing the volume and structure of export-import operations in the cereals and legumes market, identifying trends of development and developing recommendations for improving the export potential of Ukraine. The structure and classification of grain in the cereals and legumes market is considered, also the functioning of this market. The volumes of growing cereals and legumes at the enterprises of Ukraine for 2019 are determined. The essence of the market of grain and legumes as a constituent part of the foreign trade is analyzed. The status of exports and imports of grain crops of Ukraine in the first quarter of 2020 is determined. The main indicators of export-import operations, balance, dynamics and pace of growth for 2015–2019 are defined. Both the commodity and geographical structure of the cereals and legumes market of Ukraine are examined. A PEST analysis is developed to determine the foreign economic situation of Ukraine in the grain market and the main factors that influence this market are identified. The main problems of foreign economic activity in the grain market and the proposals how to eliminate them are allocated. The foreign trade of wheat and corn by world countries for the time period of January – April 2020 is considered. A draft of recommendations as to the development and improvement of the agricultural sector and provision of the market with cereals and legumes is proposed. The forecasted values of the grain export market activity are computed by extrapolation method for 2020–2021. The main trends of the cereals and legumes market of Ukraine are determined.

The relevance of the topic is that IT market is one of the most progressive and rapidly developing markets in the world. According to scientists, in the near future it will displace most of the existing professions and create a lot of new ones. Therefore, an analysis of the IT market is necessary to determine the general trends and directions of development. The purpose of the publication is to determine the main aspects of the functioning of Ukrainian IT market in time, and to determine the main trends and directions as to adaptation of the enterprises to the pace of development of the industry. The subject of research is the economic and statistical analysis of the status and prospects for further development of Ukrainian IT market, increasing the demand for products and services of its production. Object of research are Ukrainian IT market itself and its main components. The publication uses the following scientific and statistical methods: synthesis, analysis, table, matrix, extrapolation method, economic and mathematical methods etc. The article researches: structure and classification of the world IT market; Ukrainian IT market in the context of the most popular programming languages; position of the country in the world rankings; staff composition of enterprises; share in the country’s total exports and the extent of the services sold. A dynamic analysis of sales and export services in the sphere of IT Ukraine is carried out. A matrix analysis of the IT market is conducted, which included SWOT and PEST-analysis, as well as relevant conclusions for each of them. Recommendations on the development and adaptation of Ukrainian IT market to the world trends in this industry are elaborated.

At the present stage of development of Ukrainian economy wholesale trade plays an important role, because it provides the necessary intensity and acceleration of the process of movement of goods in market conditions. The wholesale trade as such organizes and systematizes the movement of goods by distribution channels, and also promotes the quality of production and consumption of goods, serves as a link between production and circulation of goods. The relevance of research of the status and tendencies in the development of wholesale trade lies in its significance for both the economic and the intermediary activities in Ukraine. Wholesale trade is the instrument that helps to develop all branches of the economy. Research objectives are: analysis of the wholesale market, its main subjects, status and trends; search for weak areas in today’s situation of wholesale trade and analysis of the level of their criticality; defining directions of improvement of wholesale trade in Ukraine. Features and functions of wholesale trade are considered; role of wholesale trade is analyzed; the main indicators of the activity, turnover of food and non-food products are determined. Changes in the turnover volume from 2005 to 2019 are computed, the forecasted values of the turnover for the 2020 and 2021 are researched, taking into account the improvement and deterioration of main factors of influence. The main problems which are harmful to the development of wholesale trade in Ukraine are characterized, as well as measures and directions on development of wholesale trade are suggested.

The publication is aimed at studying the tendencies of foreign economic activity of the Ukrainian agricultural market, developing a project to improve its operation on the basis of statistical analysis using a calculated forecast. The object of the study is the foreign economic activity of the agricultural market of Ukraine, the subject of the study is the status and features of the functioning of foreign economic activity of the agricultural market. The role of agriculture in foreign economic activity is analyzed and the basic theoretical principles of operation of the agrarian market of Ukraine are explained. The main indicators of activity are defined in the structure and dynamics, among them: proportion of major articles in the export-import segment; total volumes of external activities; balance of foreign economic operations, whereby the main tendencies in the market status of contemporaneity are allocated. The main sale markets for Ukrainian agricultural products and the dynamics of their diversification for 2015-2019 are researched. The forecast values of Ukraine’s agricultural activity for 2020 and 2021 are calculated, taking into account the improvement and deterioration of the main factors of influence. The main problems of the foreign economic activity of the Ukrainian agrarian market, hindering the economic development and growth, are identified. The main areas of reforms both at the legislative level and in general are proposed in order to improve the functioning, economic growth, strengthen Ukraine’s position in the world agricultural market and increase the volume of foreign currency in the country.

The research is aimed at analyzing the modern economy and directions of foreign economic activity in the Netherlands using the economic-statistical methods; defining the development challenges and prospects; elaborating a Netherlandian-Ukrainian cooperation project, as well as finding ways to improve foreign investment. The article provides characterizations of gross domestic product, external debt, foreign trade turnover, exports and imports structure, as well as the level of real GDP per capita. Both the structural and the dynamic analyses of Netherlandian exports and imports for the period 2014-2019 are carried out. Separately analyzed are the index of seasonality of exports and imports for the period 2018-2019 per quarters, as well as a the «seasonal wave» of the Netherlandian exports and imports over the same period per months. The relevance of the research on the theoretical aspects of the statistical analysis of the economy and foreign economic activity of the Netherlands is substantiated. It is proved that the analysis of the comparison of data on the structure volumes and the structural shifts of the country’s export-import operations holds an important place in this direction. The obtained results of the research can be used as in the field of education and economics, so in the research industry specifically. The main problems of the current economic situation in the Netherlands both on the world and national market are identified. The results are summed up and ways to improve the functioning of the Netherlands’ foreign economic activities by taking these measures proposed.

The article is aimed at scientific researching the status of production, sales and product range of tobacco products, existing terms of trade and promising tendencies in the modern world and domestic markets, as well as analyzing activities of Philip Morris International as one of the leading players in the market. The main players, volumes of their income, production capacities, employment in the industry and the impact of illegal trade are characterized. The authors analyze structure of the Philip Morris International's assortment portfolio with the share of branded products against the total consumption volume, structure of revenues and market segments in terms of consumer benefits and demand. Separately analyzed is the new generation products with potentially reduced risk, gaining increasing popularity. A study on the main indicators of British American Tobacco, Japan Tobacco and Imperial Brands in the global market is carried out: revenue and profit volumes, structure and profitability of the strategic portfolio of each company, geographical presence and segmentation of products in the market. The status and key indicators of the national tobacco market are considered: capacities and volumes of sales, major brands, price segment; negative impact on the market caused by illicit trade is allocated. A comparative analysis of the performance of international tobacco players operating in the Ukrainian market in 2018 is carried out, the place of Philip Morris International is separately analyzed. The main problems of tobacco producers and salesers both in the world and in domestic markets are indicated. The results are summed up and proposed ways to improve the sales system of Philip Morris International in the world market in general and in the market of Ukraine in particular.

The article is concerned with researching theoretical provisions regarding the specifics of the real estate market conjuncture in Kharkiv region and analyzing structural changes in the market, as well as dynamic fluctuations in its prices. The article is aimed at studying the real estate market in Kharkiv region; determining existing problems and current tendencies of market development; elaborating a forecast and the recommendations to improve performance in this segment. Structural changes in the real estate market in Kharkiv region are considered, it is identified that the population prefers the secondary market, mainly small 1- and 2-room apartments. According to indicators of dynamic analysis, the greatest rate of price increases are observed in de-luxury and comfort-class real estate. Business class real estate figures for 2019 were negative. An analysis of mortgage loans showed an increase in the number of loans issued. The average rate of growth reaches 10,9%, but the main drawback of lending is high interest rates, which reach 25% per annum. To overcome this barrier, developers introduce various loyalty programs, which allows to leave the demand in the real estate market relatively stable. As a result of the index analysis, it is identified that prices on the secondary market increase until December and then fall until June. Significant risks are characteristic of the real estate market: unstable political situation, population migration, rising real estate prices.

The article is aimed at: scientific substantiation for the theoretical provisions regarding the financial market and financial services; characterization of features of the marketing activities of this market; analysis of the status and tendencies, forecasting of certain types of the financial services market in Ukraine as a potential for investment revitalization of the economy. The theoretical provisions on the essence of the terms of «financial market» and «financial service» are generalized. The structure of Ukraine’s financial system and institutional units of the financial market are considered. The current status and the type structure of the professional participants in financial market and the providers of financial services in Ukraine are examined. Approaches to the perception of financial services as a product, as a property, and as a commodity are covered; their differences from financial operations are provided; peculiarities of marketing functioning in the financial services market are displayed. An analysis of the volume of financial services provided is carried out in quantitative and value terms; structural shifts in providing services, the dynamics of leasing volumes, factoring and property management operations are characterized. A segment of the stock market is analyzed, namely: structural shifts in the number of professional stock market participants over seven years, has been analyzed; dynamics of trading volumes in the securities market; major players and the impact of securities trading volumes on the size of the country’s GDP. On the basis of special software, predictive models of leasing, factoring operations and asset management operations by the quarters of the year (with the auto-regression value comprising 3 periods) are developed; using the GAP analysis, gaps in pessimistic and optimistic forecasts are identified.

The article is concerned with the theoretical substantiation of the essence of international tourism and its significance, analysis of the main indicators of the economic development of the tourism industry of the world and Ukraine, exploration of the current tendencies and elaboration of a project of recommendations as to further development. The theoretical provisions on the essence of the term of «tourism» and the specifics of definition and functions of tourism are generalized; influence of the industry on the economy of a single country and the world is identified; the directions of applying management in the tourism industry and the structure of tourist product are considered. The authors analyze the international tourism indicators: contributions to GDP; volume of direct investments; share in total world exports and the exports of services; impact on employment and the dynamics of tourist flows in general and by the world regions. The structure of export revenues in the regional plane, ranking of the leading countries in terms of the volume of foreign visitors, and the volume of revenues from tourist exports in the dynamics are considered. A comparison of the species structure of the arrival of international tourists according to the purpose of travel is provided. An analysis of the main indicators of foreign trade in tourism services of Ukraine is carried out: number of subjects of tourist activities in terms of property and territorial accommodation; dynamics of the inbound and outbound tourist flow; advantages of foreign tourists as for the purpose of visiting Ukraine. The statistics on Ukraine’s foreign trade volumes on the item of article «travels» are analyzed. A project of recommendations as to improving the international tourism services is elaborated and conceived. The results are summed up and the current tendencies in the development of the world tourism are identified.

The article is aimed at researching the banking operations and interbank settlements in foreign currency; considering the impact of the new currency law; improving the implementation of foreign exchange banking in the sphere of foreign economic activity (FEA). The theoretical provisions on the essence of banking activities, classification and features of the implementation of banking operations in the sphere of FEA are generalized. A structural analysis of the indicators of volumes of the remittances from abroad to Ukraine for 2011 - the first quarter of 2019 is carried out in US dollars in dynamics; the ratio of remittances, the growth of foreign direct investment in Ukraine and their share in GDP are defined. A comparison of changes in the volumes of remittances to Ukraine in formal and informal ways is provided. Structural changes in remittances are considered by source (wage, transfers, etc.). Customer benefits in using the international payment systems are identified. The statistical indicators regarding the volumes of operations of the banks’ clients with non-cash foreign currency, the trading at the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine and the dynamics of the weighted average exchange rate of the US dollar to the hryvnia are analyzed. The structure of the main balance sheets (assets, gross loans and client funds) in foreign currency is analyzed, and a correlation analysis of the relationship between the indicators is done. A forecasting of the actual series of «Customer Funds» and «Money Transfers» until 2020 is accomplished. The strategic gaps of the forecast model are identified. The advantages and disadvantages of the new law «On currency and currency operations» are discussed. The results are summed up and ways to improve banking operations in the sphere of foreign economic activity are suggested.

The article is concerned with researching theoretical provisions of features of import activity and analyzing the structural shifts of import operations with goods and services of Ukraine. The periodization of stages of development of foreign trade and advantages of application of trade principles is considered. The essence and conditions of implementing imports are defined. The theoretical provisions concerning the complex typology of varieties of import operations are generalized. The list of indicators characterizing import activity is provided. The bodies of regulation of arising contradictions between interests of foreign trade activity entities are indicated. The analysis of indicators of volumes of foreign trade with goods and services of Ukraine for 2000 – first 5 months of 2018 is carried out. Structural changes of goods import have been explored by commodity nomenclature, by broad economic categories (BEC) and by types of transportation, as well as their geographical segmentation. Statistical indices of volumes of import of services are analyzed in the context of types and the importing countries. Special attention is paid to the coefficients of export coverage of goods/services imports in the regional context. The results of regression analysis and several forecast models of import of goods and services of Ukraine up to 2020 are provided.

The article is aimed at researching the problems, tendencies and development prospects of the transport system of Ukraine in the composition of logistics activities as the potential for economic growth, increase of the efficiency of foreign trade, and competitiveness of the country in the world market. The article covers the theoretical concepts of logistics: evolution and interpretation of the term, subject and tasks of logistics; essence of logistics model and its structural units. The geopolitical position of Ukraine is analyzed as a component of the global transport and communication system together with estimates in the World Bank rating by the logistics efficiency index. Structural changes in the dynamics of economic indicators of the transport services of Ukraine are researched by types of transport and transportation. The analysis of the types’ and geographical structure of exports of the transport services of Ukraine is carried out, the main problems of its development are disclosed. On the basis of correlation analysis, a GAP analysis of gaps between net income and marketing of transport services is built. Strategic decisions are provided.

The article defines the concept of «competitiveness of bank» and provides a system of ways to ensure competitive advantages of bank in the market of banking and financial-credit services. The status of the banking market as a result of cleaning of the banking system of Ukraine is analyzed, structural changes in financial assets and competitive positions of the PJSC CB «PrivatBank» in the group of banks with the State-owned capital are considered. The influence of the nationalization of «PrivatBank» on the status of the banking IT infrastructure and the dynamics of transactions with the use of payment cards issued by Ukrainian banks are identified. The positions of banks with the State-owned capital in the annual rating «Top-50» of the banks of Ukraine for 2016 are analyzed.
