In this article, the author discusses the issues related to chronic hyponatremia (CHN) in psychosis. He mentions that the hyponatremia is a common electrolyte disorder that could be observed in patients suffering from psychosis. He also informs that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved vasopressin-receptor antagonists known as vaptans as an effective treatment option for CHN.
