The article focuses on the multi-year study by the Professional Nutrient Applicators Association of Wisconsin on the impacts of manure transport equipment on the roads. The research stresses the importance of allocating axles weight and having enough number of axles. It says that either asphalt or concrete pavements are not affected by the tire pressure. Moreover, Kevin Erb of the University of Wisconsin offers potential short- and long-term solutions to prevent the damage of roads.
