Abstract

The article discusses the results of a study which examines the bioactive peptide expression in the skin of Pelophylax nigromaculatus amphibians in Yunnan Province and Guizhou Province, China. The authors conducted the screening of complementary DNA library to identify eight antimicrobial peptides and an antioxidant peptide. They mentioned the variation of bioactive peptide expression between the regions of the same species.
