Abstract

The article presents a case study of 42-year-old man experiencing frequent attacks of ulceronecrotic nodular lesions involving abdominal region, shoulders and lower limbs. Topics discussed include diagnosis of PASH syndrome associating hidradenitis suppurativa, acne and pyoderma gangrenosum, treated with several drugs such as anakinra and adalimumab, and inflammatory infiltrate composed of neutrophils, lymphocytes and eosinophils in addition to histiocytes.

Abstract

The article discusses a study related to evaluation of prevalence and characteristics of pruritus and its impact on n the quality of life (QOL) in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc). Topics discussed include frequent pruritus in majority of the patients suffering from SSc, frequent associated sensory symptoms such as crawling, cold sensation and numbness and association of pruritus in SSc more frequently with neuropathic symptoms resulting from nerve fibre damage.
