The article presents a study on the ability of novel free-radical scavenger bis(1-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl)-decandioate (IAC) to prevent gastric mucosa from ulcer due to indometacin treatment. It states that rats with gastric ulceration caused by indometacin were used in the study and were assessed to determine the therapeutic effect of IAC through intraperitoneal injection. The study found that IAC is an anti-ulcer agent due to essential properties and mechanisms.
