Abstract

A new report from the University of Montpellier in France discusses the efficiency and tolerance of second-line triple therapy in patients with BRAF-mutated melanoma and central nervous system (CNS) metastases. The study found that the addition of anti-PD1 to combined targeted therapy did not result in significant response of CNS targets in most patients. Only one patient displayed a significant clinical and morphological response. The mean progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) after CNS progression were 2.59 and 4.12 months, respectively.
