The article presents a summary of the study conducted by Katerina Gkirtzimanaki and colleagues on the role played by on Locus 2 (TPL2) as a suppressor of lung carcinogenesis. It notes the comparison of TPL2 levels in clinical specimens obtained from patients with nonsmall cell lung carcinomas (NSCLCs). Moreover, it proposes the use of TPL2 in lung carcinogenesis suppression by p53 response.
