Bilgi, günümüz işletmelerinin karar alma sürecinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bilgi kalitesi işletmelerin başarısında kritik bir öneme sahiptir. Muhasebe bilgi sistemleri, işletmeler tarafından planlama, değerlendirme ve iş süreçlerini ve finansal durumlarını tanımada kullanılan bilgiyi üretmektedir. Bu nedenle, kaliteli bilgiyi sağlamak muhasebe bilgi sistemlerinin amacı olmalıdır. Bu çalısmada, lisans düzeyinde muhasebe eğitiminin fakültelerin isletme bölümlerinde yoğun olarak verilmesi sebebiyle devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinin isletme bölümlerinin ders programları incelenmis ve okutulan muhasebe dersleri ile ilgili durum analizi yapılmıstır. Yapılan çalısma sonucunda 170 farklı isim altında muhasebe dersinin verilmekte olduğu görülmüstür. Devlet üniversitelerinde vakıf üniversitelerinegöre zorunlu muhasebe dersleri daha ağırlıklıdır. Devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinin kendi içlerinde de zorunlu muhasebe derslerinin sayısı ve toplam ders saati açısından önemli farklılıklar bulunmaktadır. Devlet üniversitelerinin çoğunluğu tüm öğretim yıllarında zorunlu muhasebe dersi vermelerine rağmen, vakıf üniversitelerinde eğilimin ikinci ve üçüncü yıllarda ağırlıkta olduğu görülmektedir. Devlet üniversitelerinin tamamında seçmeli muhasebe dersi bulunurken, vakıf üniversitelerinde seçmeli muhasebe dersi olmayan fakülteler bulunmaktadır. Her iki üniversite türünde de üçüncü ve dördüncü öğretim yıllarında ağırlıklı olarak seçmeli muhasebe dersi açılmaktadır., In this study, because of the fact that undergraduate-level accounting education is intensivly given in business department of faculties, Business Administration Department’s course schedules of state and private universities is examined and an analyse has been made about accounting courses that is given in these universities. In the conclusion of the study it was seen that accounting course is given under 170 different names. Required accounting courses is more weighted in state universities than in private universities. There are important differences among state and private universities in terms of amount of required accounting courses and total number of teaching hours. Despite most of the stateuniversities give required accounting courses, it was seen that tendency to give required accounting courses in private universities intensifies in second and third academic years. While all state universities has elective accounting courses, in private universities there are some faculties that has not elective accounting courses. Both types of universities give elective accounting courses predominantly in third and fourth academic years.

Bu çalışma meslek yüksekokullarının muhasebe programlarına sınavsız geçiş hakkı olan öğrencilerin profilini ve muhasebe mesleğine bakışlarını ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında, Bilecik ve Eskişehir illerinin merkez ve ilçelerinde bulunan ticaret meslek liselerinin tamamının son sınıflarında okuyan ve bu yıl muhasebe programlarını tercih edebilecek öğrencilere anket uygulanmıştır. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilerden sayıca fazla olduğu, anne-babalarının eğitim ve gelir seviyelerinin düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin çoğu yüksek öğretime devam etmek istemelerine rağmen Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı (ÖSS)’na yönelik destek alan öğrenci sayısı azdır. Öğrenciler, muhasebecilerin bilgi ve becerilerini sürekli geliştirmeleri gerektiğini belirtirken muhasebe mesleğinde yabancı dilin önemli olmadığını düşünmektedirler. Ayrıca muhasebecilerin tarafsız olması ve etik kurallara uyması gerektiğini de ifade etmişlerdir. Muhasebe mesleğinin prestijli ve kazançlı bir meslek olduğunu düşünmelerine rağmen muhasebe mesleğini birinci sırada tercih edecek öğrencilerin sayısı daha azdır., (The Profiles of Students Who Have The Right to Attend Accounting Programs Without Examination and Their Point of View to The Accounting Profession) The aim of this study is to determine the profiles of students who have the right to attend accounting programs without examination and their point of view to the accounting profession. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to all students who studied in senior classes and those who could choose accounting programs, both in center and county trade vocational high school in Bilecik and Eskişehir. With these results, it was determined that woman students are more than schoolboys and the students families’ education and income levels are low. Even though many of the students want to continue higher education programs, few of them receive support for ÖSS( University Entrance Exam). While the students predicate that accountants should improve their knowledge and skills, they thought learning a foreign language is not important for accounting profession. Moreover the students state that accountants should be objective and obey ethical rules. Despite many students thought accounting is gainful and prestigious job few students would prefer accounting as the first option.

Küreselleşen dünyada yaşanan yoğun rekabet ortamı ve teknolojik gelişmeler muhasebe bilgi sistemlerinde bilgilerin bilgisayarlı ortamlarda üretilmesini ve sunulmasını gerekli kılmıştır. İşlemlerin bilgisayarlı ortamda yürütülmesi, sağladığı avantajlar yanında çeşitli güvenlik sorunlarını da beraberinde getirmiştir, İşletmelerin Internet'le dış dünyaya açılmaları, on-line olarak faaliyetlerini sürdürmeleri sadece işletme içinden değil işletme dışından da tehditlerin oluşmasına sebep olmaktadır. Bu nedenle işletmelerin muhasebe bilgi sistemlerini tehdit eden iç ve dış unsurlara karşı güvenlik önlemleri almaları gerekmektedir. Ayrıca bu konuda gerekli "bilgi güvenlik politikaları" oluşturulmasında büyük yarar bulunmaktadır., (Information Security in the Accounting Information Systems) High competition and technological developments in today's world have caused accounting system use computer aided applications. Besides having many advantages, using computer aided applications have many security problems as well. In particular on-line processing and internet have many threats originating internal and external sources of the managements. Therefore managements must take safety precautions. Furthermore establishing ali necessary security policies would provide considerable benefits.
