The article discusses the rare malignancy in women called metastatic breast carcinoma. It states that the primary breast carcinoma, lymphoma-leukemia, melanoma and sarcomas can spread to the breast area. It adds that ovarian cancer and other gynecologic cancers rarely spread towards the breast, however, it can occur as a result of prolonged cancer treatments in other organs. It suggests not to rule out the possibility that ovarian cancer patients can develop breast metastasis.

The article reviews the indications, techniques, and functional outcomes of transposition in the ovaries of young patients with cervical cancer. It states that radiotherapy used in the treatment of pelvic malignancies can permanently impair the hormonal activity and reproductive capacity of ovaries in young women. It notes that laparocopy is currently and pervasively used in ovarian transposition to protect the gonads and their functions.

Ovarian thecoma, which belongs to the group of sex-cord stromal tumors, is a relatively rare neoplasm. In this report we present a pregnant woman with a solid ovarian mass diagnosed during pregnancy and operated on at the 19th gestational week. At surgical exploration, torsion of the ovarian tumor was observed together with ascites and unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was performed. Pathological examination revealed a luteinized thecoma. After the surgery, the pregnancy continued uneventfully until term.
