The study was conducted on 170 subjects, football players - senior citizens, aged 18-27 years from the territory of Montenegro.Utilizes a system of 16 variables, situational-motor abilities. Our aim was to determine the discriminatory ability of their rank according to the modalities of which belong to the players tested (second and third league competitions). Results of canonical discriminant analysis of the players in situational-motor variables that belong to different ranks of the competitions, significant at the .00 level. Therefore, we can speak of two quantitatively and qualitatively different groups of patients.

The introduction of innovations in sport often is met with opposition from society, or in other words, incomprehension from the supporters of previous premises, in terms of understanding the new methods and the like. The manifestation of a certain dose of resistance is most frequently done by voicing unsubstantiated criticism by means of the media. We are primarily referring to the incomprehension of new methods and principles of work, which leads to prejudice among poorly or insufficiently informed individuals. This was the reason why, at first, during the 1990’s, a prejudice against carving skis was born, which could confuse the inexperienced and uninformed, and should therefore be clarified. Carving is much easier to learn than classic skiing. There is pleasure to be gained from the very fact that carving skis, due to their structure, have no problem entering and going through a turn, the ease of which can be seen in the relaxed body posture during that time. The term “carving” refers to the shape of the skis, which remind one of an hourglass shape. Depending on how far the tip and tail of the skis are from the mid section of the skills, we can determine various carving ski types, from the mildest to the most extreme, including: carving plus skis, all-round carving skis, classic skis, turn skiing, telemark – free skiing.

The basic characteristic of alpine skiing as a means of recreation is that it can be used by individuals of all ages and psycho-physical abilities. This activity stimulates the development, improvement and maintenance of psycho-physical abilities, especially the development of the respiratory and cardiovascular system. Using this skiing technique implies performing a certain turn, using a certain skill and the ability to properly move. By using its contents, forms and methods of work, we contribute to the improvement of health, and the boosting of physical and work abilities. The basic elements of alpine skiing as a means of recreation are not merely used in the service of health, as it also has other functions, a pedagogical, androgynous, psychological and humane function to name a few

The methodology of situational training in the case of alpine skiing represents a body of knowledge which enables the dosing and organization of training when one is working with skiers at various levels of ability and of various ages. The organization of the contents of situational training is primarily based on being familiar with competitive movements, which refer to technical-tactical and physical abilities, as well as the mental strength of the competitors themselves. The situational training of skiers requires that each activity, each preparation and exercise during a training session is aimed at successfully skiing around flags, that is, competitive success. The best situational training sessions consist of slalom skiing with flags. The starting point of the overall work for the competitors is skiing between flags, and doing so with success. During this process, changes in rhythm and movement tempo play an important part, and must be ađusted to suit the demands of the ski hill track.

The area of technical-tactical activities is very interesting and unexplored, especially because the game from year to year changes faster. The aim of this research is to perform analysis of different forms of shots in football (in the official statistics) and their association with outcomes of football matches at the World Cup 2006. in Germany (FIFA World Cup Germany 2006.). The sample consists of observations of 64 games played at the World Cup 2006. in Germany. Sample characteristics are elements of games that are leading the official statistics, which is promoted for all FIFA competitions that take place under its auspices, including the World Championships. Of five elements for analysis was selected four. Based on the analysis set forth can be concluded that the team winning the game stands out significantly in all analyzed characteristics in relation to the game the team with a score draw or a defeat where the difference is less. All teams that have achieved the victory had offensive tactics or were technically dominant in relation to the opponent.

This research was aimed at gaining relevant knowledge about important differences with respect to body composition of the football players of different rank competitions. The sample included 425 respondents, divided into three subsample groups. The first subsample group was comprised of 368 respondents who were attending EUROS 2008; the second subsample group was comprised of 26 respondents who practice football at a Football Club “Vojvodina” from Novi Sad, while the third subsample included 31 respondents who play football only recreationally. The sample of variables contained: ages, body height, body mass, Ideal Body Mass and Body Mass Index. The results of the measuring were analyzed by multivariate analysis (MANOVA) and univariate analysis (ANOVA). Based on the results it was concluded that significant differences occur in multivariate level, as well as between next variables: ages, body mass and Body Mass Index at a significance level of p=.05.

The sample of 90 pupils of the elementary schools in Niš of 11 and 12 years of age was subjected to initial and final measurement of functional abilities, namely, 1) systolic blood pressure in mm Hg (FTASI), 2) diastolic blood pressure in mm Hg (FTADI), 3) pulsation frequency under effort - impact per min (FPUOP), 4) absolute oxygen consumption (VO2 max l/min) (FO2LM) and 5) relative oxygen consumption (VO2 max ml/min/kg). The aim of the research was to determine the effects of the “circular” form of work in the main part of the class upon the development of the pupils’ functional abilities. The results of the research obtained by the multivariant analysis of the variant have shown considerable improvements of the pupils’ functional abilities.
