Schools are important settings for comprehensive health promotion. School exerts the most influence on the lives of children and youth. Schools can play a key role in supporting students’ health ‘extension, the health of their families and communities. School health program( SHP) is designed to promote the optimal physical, emotional, social and educational development of students. Teachers play a major role in the promotion and successful implementation of the Program. This study aimed to determine teacher’s knowledge and view about school health program. This cross sectional descriptive study was conducted in primary schools among 201 school teachers. Two school were selected randomly and was used to select teachers in each Locality area. Data were collected using interview questionnaires and analyzed using suitable statistical methods. The results shows that school teacher’s knowledge about school health program was 47 %. Their knowledge about School health Environmental, service, education, home and community relationship and feeding and food safety (55.75%, 52.3%, 24.3, 34.2, and44.3%) respectively .their view about SHP 77.6% of the participant think that SHP was very important. There was no statistically significant relation between age of the participants, gender, education level and experiences to their knowledge. In conclusions; the study shows that knowledge of school teacher regarding school health program was poor but they had positive view about program. There was no statistically significant relation between age of the participant, gender, education level and experiences to their knowledge.

Availability of Waste water drains (WWD) in Poasia Village is still a health problem, especially in residential areas. Results The initial survey found that 73% of the people do not have WDC that meets health requirements because generally the community does not know how to make sanitary WWD. The adverse impact of the availability of non-sanitary WWD will be a source of transmission of various diseases in the community. The research objective was to analyze the causes of low public knowledge in the manufacture of sanitary sewerage. Type of qualitative research, with a case study approach. Informants are the community and health workers. Data collection using in-depth interviews, and observations. The results showed that the causes of low public knowledge in making WWD sanitary were lack of socialization by health workers, lack of training in making sanitary WWD, lack of public awareness in finding information and knowledge of making sanitary WDC and lack of income in making sanitary WWD. Conclusion; the cause of the low public knowledge in making WDC sanitary is very multi-factor both from internal factors and external factors of society. Recommendation; the need for public awareness in seeking information on the manufacture of sanitary WWD and the role of health workers in the dissemination of WWD.

Pre - eclampsia is a disease that can arise during pregnancy. Lack of knowledge of the people, especially pregnant women about pre - eclampsia resulted in many pregnant women who do not know about the disease. There’re many of pregnant women who have pre - eclampsia even some women died from it. This is a descriptive study with cross sectional design. The samples in this study were 36 people using accidental sampling technique that took respondents who happened to be there. From the research carried out, it showed that pregnant women with high school education had sufficient knowledge of as many as five people (27.8 %). By age, the majority of respondents aged 24-29 have solid knowledge or as many as 7 people (29.1 %). Based on information sources, the majority of respondents received sufficient knowledge from the printed media which is as many as one person (33.3 %). It is expected that health professionals and staffs in Adam Malik Hospital of Midwifery Polyclinic provide an explanation of pre - eclampsia to pregnant women in order to enrich their knowledge on that particular matter.

Occupational safety and health is one of the key issues today, with growing industrialization and labor market. Contemporary technology revolution has made our lives with so much convenient that people would hardly imagine life without computer, internet, cable TV, cellular phone various tool and gadgets. These technologies including computer have made life so much easy but they have created many risks to human health like computer health hazards. Objective: The objective of study was to assess Knowledge regarding Ooccupational Health Hazards and Safety Measures among the Computer Users of Banks in Banepa Municipality Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was done among 100 adults between 20-60 years of age of Banepa Municipality by random sampling technique with the use of structured and semi-structured questionnaire. Pre-test was done on 10% (10) of the respondents. Results: This study show that majority 64% had moderate knowledge, 29% had adequate knowledge and only 7% had inadequate knowledge regarding occupational health hazards and safety measures that is computers health hazards. There was no statistically significant difference in mean knowledge score with selected variables. Conclusion:This study shows that most of the respondents had moderate knowledge on computer health hazards. Further study can be done to identify the prevalence of computer health hazards and effect of long term.
