The article focuses on the challenges faced by the Nordic countries which include Norway, Sweden and Finland along with Greenland regarding the slowdown in exploration activity and also reflects on the development process. It reflects on issues that have arisen due to the challenges faced by the iron-ore sector and mentions that the World Steel Association has projected the crude steel production in 2013 at 789.8 million metric tons.
