In this work, a novel internal heat absorption technology using inorganic material rods is employed during the solidification process of steel ingots, aiming to control their solidification and improve the quality of the final product. The study investigates the effect of the insertion depth of inorganic materials on the solidification microstructure and macrosegregation of 2.5-ton 42CrMo ingots. The mechanical properties of samples from the product are also tested. A numerical simulation model for casting 2.5-ton ingots is established and implemented in Ansys Fluent fluid simulation software, with inorganic material rods set at different preset depths. The simulation explores the physical processes of the melting and floating of inorganic materials in molten steel, as well as their effects on the temperature and flow fields of the material. The results show that deeper insertion of inorganic materials (200 mm from the hot top) reduces the tendency for macrosegregation compared to that at the insertion depth of 100 mm. Specifically, the positive segregation area decreases by 10.35%, while the negative segregation area decreases by 15.32%. Moreover, deeper insertion results in a significant refinement of the solidification microstructure, ultimately enhancing the mechanical properties of the products machined from the ingots (i.e., the yield strength increased by 4.7%). The numerical simulation results indicate that as the placement depth of inorganic materials in the ingot mold increases, the cooling effect becomes more significant, the flow area of molten steel initiated by the inorganic materials expands, and the linear velocity of the double-circle flow increases. Task allocation plays an important role in multi-robot systems regarding team efficiency. Conventional heuristic or meta-heuristic methods face difficulties in generating satisfactory solutions in a reasonable computational time, particularly for large-scale multi-robot task allocation problems. This paper proposes a novel graph deep-reinforcement-learning-based approach, which solves the problem through learning. The framework leverages the graph sample and aggregate concept as the encoder to extract the node features in the context of the graph, followed by a cross-attention decoder to output the probability that each task is allocated to each robot. A graph normalization technique is also proposed prior to the input, enabling an easy adaption to real-world applications, and a deterministic solution can be guaranteed. The most important advantage of this architecture is the scalability and quick feed-forward character; regardless of whether cases have a varying number of robots or tasks, single depots, multiple depots, or even mixed single and multiple depots, solutions can be output with little computational effort. The high efficiency and robustness of the proposed method are confirmed by extensive experiments in this paper, and various multi-robot task allocation scenarios demonstrate its advantage. Optical frequency combs have emerged as a new generation of metrological tools, driving advancements in various fields such as free-space two-way time–frequency transfer, low-noise microwave source generation, and gas molecule detection. Among them, fiber combs based on erbium-doped fiber mode-locked lasers have garnered significant attention due to their numerous advantages, including low noise, high system integration, and cost-effectiveness. In this review, we discuss recent developments in erbium-doped fiber combs and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of constructing fiber combs utilizing different erbium-doped mode-locked fiber lasers. First, we provide a brief introduction to the basic principles of optical frequency combs. Then, we explore erbium-doped fiber combs implemented utilizing various mode-locking techniques, such as nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR), real saturable absorber (SA), and nonlinear amplifying loop mirror (NALM). China's first Mars rover, Zhurong, landed on the southern region of Utopia Planitia, Mars, on 14 May 2021 (UTC). Zhurong is equipped with the Mars Surface Composition Detection Package (MarSCoDe), which analyzes the Martian surface's material composition. Composed of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), short-wave infrared spectroscopy (SWIR), and a microimaging camera, MarsCoDe can work at a distance of 1.6–7 m to analyze element abundance and the mineralogy of targets on the Martian surface. Analysis shows that the wavelengths of MarSCoDe onboard LIBS spectra acquired within the same probe period will have different degrees of drift, leading to deviation in qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis. This paper finds that the spectrum drift follows a quadratic function relationship with the CCD temperature of the MarSCoDe spectrometer, based on which a wavelength calibration method is established. According to the function, the drift of a certain channel is calculated by the corresponding CCD temperature, and then the wavelength of the spectrum is calibrated by the drift. The accuracy of this calibration method for the position of peak wavelength in the LIBS spectrum can reach about 1/5 of the apparatus spectral width, and the cross-validation analysis using a norite standard sample shows that it is comparable to the wavelength calibration accuracy of the ChemCam onboard data product. In the present paper, on the basis of molecular hybridization, a series of 4,6-dihydrazone pyrimidine derivatives containing the pyridine moiety were synthesized, structurally characterized, and evaluated in vitro for their antitumor activity. According to the results, all the tested compounds demonstrated broad-spectrum antitumor activity against selected tumor cell lines (MCF-7, BGC-823, A549, and BEL-7402) and no obvious toxicity toward normal cells HL-7702. In particular, compounds 10a and 10f were found to be the most promising antitumor agents among the tested compounds against BGC-823 cells (IC50 = 9.00 μM and 7.89 μM) and BEL-7402 cells (IC50 = 6.70 μM and 7.66 μM), respectively. Compounds 10a and 10f exhibited higher potency against BGC-823 and BEL-7402 than the positive control 5-FU (IC50 = 15.18 μM and 15.81 μM). Further mechanism investigations demonstrated that compounds 10a and 10f could significantly increase the level of cellular ROS and induce early apoptosis of BGC-823 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, the DNA binding results from UV/Vis, CD spectroscopy, and molecular docking studies indicated that 10a and 10f bind with DNA via groove binding and partial intercalation. These results demonstrated that 10a and 10f may serve as novel lead compounds for the discovery of more dihydrazone pyrimidine derivatives with improved antitumor potency and selectivity. Multi-robot task allocation (MRTA) and route planning are crucial for a large-scale multi-robot system. In this paper, the problem is formulated to minimize the total energy consumption and overall task completion time simultaneously, with some constraints taken into consideration. To represent a solution, a novel one-chromosome representation technique is proposed, which eases the consequent genetic operations and the construction of the cost matrix. Lin–Kernighan–Helsgaun (LKH), a highly efficient sub-tour planner, is employed to generate prophet generation beforehand as well as guide the evolutionary direction during the proceeding of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, aiming to promote convergence of the Pareto front. Numerical experiments on the benchmark show the LKH guidance mechanism is effective for two famous multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, namely multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D) and non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA), of which LKH-guided NSGA exhibits the best performance on three predefined indicators, namely C-metric, HV, and Spacing, respectively. A Mars Surface Composition Detector (MarSCoDe) instrument mounted on Zhurong rover of Tianwen-1, adopts Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), with no sample preparation or dust and coatings ablation required, to conduct rapid multi-elemental analysis and characterization of minerals, rocks and soils on the surface of Mars. To test the capability of MarSCoDe LIBS measurement and quantitative analysis, some methods of multivariate analysis on olivine samples with gradient concentrations were inspected based on the spectra acquired in a Mars-simulated environment before the rover launch in 2020. Firstly, LIBS spectra need preprocessing, including background subtraction, random signal denoising, continuum baseline removal, spectral drift correction and wavelength calibration, radiation calibration, and multi-channel spectra subset merging. Then, the quantitative analysis with univariate linear regression (ULR) and multivariate linear regression (MLR) are performed on the characteristic lines, while principal component regression (PCR), partial least square regression (PLSR), ridge, least-absolute-shrinkage-and-selection-operator (LASSO) and elastic net, and nonlinear analysis with back-propagation (BP) are conducted on the entire spectral information. Finally, the performance on the quantitative olivine analyzed by MarSCoDe LIBS is compared with the mean spectrum and all spectra for each sample and evaluated by some statistical indicators. The results show that: (1) the calibration curve of ULR constructed by the characteristic line of magnesium and iron indicates the linear relationship between the spectral signal and the element concentration, and the limits of detection of forsterite and fayalite is 0.9943 and 2.0536 (c%) analyzed by mean spectra, and 2.3354 and 3.8883 (c%) analyzed by all spectra; (2) the R2 value on the calibration and validation of all the methods is close to 1, and the predicted concentration estimated by these calibration models is close to the true concentration; (3) the shrinkage or regularization technique of ridge, LASSO and elastic net perform better than the ULR and MLR, except for ridge overfitting on the testing sample; the best results can be obtained by the dimension reduction technique of PCR and PLSR, especially with PLSR; and BP is more applicable for the sample measured with larger spectral dataset. The microstructures and mechanical properties of GCr15 bearing steel after high-temperature tempering with and without a 5 T high magnetic field (HMF) were investigated. It was found that the application of the HMF at the stage of high-temperature tempering slowed down the growth of the tempered sorbite (TS) structures, increased the density of the carbides, and reduced the carbide size and the volume fraction. XRD diffraction patterns showed that the HMF resulted in a higher dislocation density. Hardness testing indicated that the HMF led to an increase in the Vickers hardness in the tempered sample. It is inferred that the change in carbide size stems from the reduction in nucleation barrier in the HMF and the increase in dislocation density originates from the interaction between dislocations and carbides. Additionally, the decrease in diffusivity in the HMF also contributes to the reduction in the size of TS structures and the refinement of carbides. This work demonstrates that high-temperature tempering with an HMF can slow down the growth of TS microstructures in GCr15 bearing steel, control the carbide size, and improve Vickers hardness, which provides a new heat treatment method to regulate the microstructure and properties of GCr15 bearing steel. The Zhurong rover successfully landed in southern Utopia Planitia as part of the Tianwen-1 mission on 15 May 2021. One of the objectives of the Mars Surface Composition Detector (MarSCoDe) onboard the rover is to investigate mineral compositions on the Martian surface by measuring the near-infrared reflectance spectra. Before conducting spectral interpretation, in-flight data calibration is a crucial step due to the significant differences between the laboratory and the Martian environment. The work of the MarSCoDe spectrometer is based on an acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF). The temperature variation of the AOTF could induce wavelength offset, making mineral identification uncertain. We first analyzed the viewing geometry of the spectral measurements of the calibration targets on the Mars rover according to its attitude to identify the anomalous data. The wavelength offsets were then determined by fitting the absorption positions of CO2 at ~1400 and ~2000 nm, representing the primary composition of the Martian atmosphere. The results showed 2–8 nm wavelength offsets, which correlated well with AOTF temperatures. The artifacts were removed in the wavelength-corrected reflectance spectra, which is critical to identify the material types on Mars, especially water-related minerals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A new platform for triptolide (TP) delivery was prepared by conjugating TP to a carboxylmethyl chitosan (CMCS). Compared with the natural TP, the TP-conjugate (TP-CMCS) containing TP of ~5 wt% exhibited excellent aqueous solubility (>5 mg/mL). Results of in vitro experiments showed that TP-CMCS could relieve TP-induced inhibition on RAW264.7 cells and apoptosis, respectively. Compared with the TP group, TP-CMCS could effectively alleviate the toxicity injury of TP and decreased the mortality rate of the mice (p < 0.05). TP-CMCS did not cause much damage to the liver (AST and ALT) and kidney (BUN and CRE) (p < 0.05). After administration, the levels of IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α decreased, and the arthritis detumescence percentages increased significantly, and the bony erosion degree was distinctly decreased in the TP-CMCS groups and TP group. Our results suggested that TP-CMCS was a useful carrier for the treatment of RA, which enhanced aqueous solubility of free TP and reduced drug toxicity in vitro and in vivo. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
