Assessing the remanufacturability of used parts is a crucial basis for determining their value and optimal utilization methods. Due to the uncertain quality of used parts and the varying processing capacity of enterprises, coupled with the continuous expansion of the scale of the remanufacturing industry, the traditional weighted-analysis model, which considers all indicators at the same level, is inefficient for decision-making. In order to evaluate the remanufacturability of used parts more efficiently, a decision tree-based method is proposed, which hierarchically processes the evaluation criteria to enhance decision-making efficiency and adaptability. First, using a data platform, the remaining value of used parts reflected in the failure degree is analyzed and predicted, with the aid of artificial neural networks and the Weibull model, providing an initial remanufacturability assessment. Then, remanufacturability is assessed sequentially from the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility aspects, based on the enterprise's processing capabilities. In recent years, optical fibers have found extensive use in special environments, including high-energy radiation scenarios like nuclear explosion diagnostics and reactor monitoring. However, radiation exposure, such as X-rays, gamma rays, and neutrons, can compromise fiber safety and reliability. Consequently, researchers worldwide are focusing on radiation-resistant fiber optic technology. This paper examines optical fiber radiation damage mechanisms, encompassing ionization damage, displacement damage, and defect centers. It also surveys the current research on radiation-resistant fiber optic design, including doping and manufacturing process improvements. Odor information fills every corner of our lives yet obtaining its spatiotemporal distribution is a difficult challenge. Localized surface plasmon resonance has shown good sensitivity and a high response/recovery speed in odor sensing and converts chemical information such as odor information into optical information, which can be captured by charge-coupled device cameras. This suggests that the utilization of localized surface plasmon resonance has great potential in two-dimensional odor trace visualization. In this study, we developed a two-dimensional imaging system based on backside scattering from a localized surface plasmon resonance substrate to visualize odor traces, providing an intuitive representation of the spatiotemporal distribution of odor, and evaluated the performance of the system. In comparative experiments, we observed distinct differences between odor traces and disturbances caused by environmental factors in differential images. In addition, we noted changes in intensity at positions corresponding to the odor traces. Furthermore, for indoor experiments, we developed a method of finding the optimal capture time by comparing changes in differential images relative to the shape of the original odor trace. Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) has gained great popularity with researchers in regenerative medicine owing to its superior biocompatibility and biodegradability, although its inadequate bioactivity inhibits the further use of PLLA in the field of bone regeneration. Zinc oxide (ZnO) has been utilized to improve the biological performance of biopolymers because of its renowned osteogenic activity. However, ZnO nanoparticles tend to agglomerate in the polymer matrix due to high surface energy, which would lead to the burst release of the Zn ion and, thus, cytotoxicity. In this study, to address this problem, carbon–ZnO (C–ZnO) was first synthesized through the carbonization of ZIF-8. Then, C–ZnO was introduced to PLLA powder before it was manufactured as scaffolds (PLLA/C–ZnO) by a selective laser sintering 3D printing technique. The results showed that the PLLA/C–ZnO scaffold was able to continuously release Zn ions in a reasonable range, which can be attributed to the interaction of Zn–N bonding and the shielding action of the PLLA scaffold. The controlled release of Zn ions from the scaffold further facilitated cell adhesion and proliferation and improved the osteogenic differentiation ability at the same time. In addition, C–ZnO endowed the scaffold with favorable photodynamic antibacterial ability, which was manifested by an efficient antibacterial rate of over 95%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The urban planning industry has always been concerned about conserving and developing historic cities in a sustainable and balanced way. However, unreasonable planning and accumulative effects brought by rapid urbanization prevent the conservation of small-scale famous historic and cultural cities. Taking Tingchow county as an example, this paper focused on sustainable development and the Historic Urban Landscape Approach, and determined the urban functions and specific tasks of various planning of its ancient town with the help of public opinions. This paper mainly aimed at providing guidance on urban decentralization from two perspectives. Firstly, it compared the types of land use and its ratio among famous cities of similar scales, and results showed that it is advisable to reduce three-class residential land use and unnecessary administrative functions. Secondly, it estimated the moderate resident population in different degrees of development, and calculated the upper limit of resource space bearing capacity (REBC) of scenic spots under the guidance of sustainable tourism. Results showed that it is recommended to decentralize and resettle 20%~30% of the resident population, and to control the tourist population below 12,000 per day. As the preliminary work of planning, this paper focused on the scientific planning and availability of decentralization, and reflected an expectation for the mode of public participation and quantitative planning.
