Prime editor, an editing tool based on the CRISPR/Cas9 system, allows for all 12 types of nucleotide exchanges and arbitrary indels in genomic sequences without the need for inducing DNA double-strand breaks. Despite its flexibility and precision, prime editing efficiency is still low and hindered by various factors such as target sites, editing types, and the length of the primer binding site. In this study, we developed a prime editing system by incorporating an RNA motif at the 3′ terminal of the pegRNA and integrating all twin prime editor factors into a single plasmid. These two strategies enhanced prime editing efficiency at target sites by up to 3.58-fold and 2.19-fold, respectively. Subsequently, enhanced prime editor was employed in goat cells and embryos to efficiently insert a 38 bp attB sequence into the Gt(ROSA)26Sor (Rosa26) and C-C motif chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5) loci. The enhanced prime editor can mediate 11.9% and 6.8% editing efficiency in parthenogenetic activation of embryos through embryo microinjection. In summary, our study introduces a modified prime editing system with improved editing and transfection efficiency, making it more suitable for inserting foreign sequences into primary cells and embryos. Simple Summary: Currently, less information regarding the impact of feeding rates on glucose metabolism in largemouth bronze gudgeon has been reported. In this study, we investigated the effects of feeding rates on growth performance, hepatic glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, and glycogen metabolism in juvenile largemouth bronze gudgeon. The results demonstrated that a feeding rate exceeding 3% significantly increased liver glycolysis and glycogen synthesis in juvenile largemouth bronze gudgeon, subsequently accelerating hepatic glycogen and lipid accumulation, which ultimately induced fatty liver formation. The experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of feeding rates on growth performance, liver glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, glycogen synthesis, and glycogen decomposition in juvenile largemouth bronze gudgeon (Coreius guichenoti). A total number of 600 fish were randomly distributed into 12 cylindrical plastic tanks with 50 fish per tank and triplicate tanks per treatment. Fish were fed with 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5% feeding rates (body weight per day) three times day−1 for 8 w. The results indicated that the feeding rates significantly increased the body weight, weight gain rate, and specific growth rate (p < 0.05), while showing no significant effects on the condition factor and survival rate (p > 0.05). The feed conversion ratio was significantly enhanced by the feeding rate (p < 0.05), although no significant differences were observed when the feeding rate exceeded 3% (p > 0.05). The plasma glucose levels in the 4% and 5% groups were significantly higher than those in the 2% and 3% groups. Compared with other groups, the 5% group significantly increased the crucial rate-limiting enzyme activities and mRNA levels of glycolysis (PFKL and PK) (p < 0.05), while showing no significant differences on enzyme activities (PC, PEPCK, and G6P) and mRNA (pepck and g6p) levels of gluconeogenesis (p > 0.05). In addition, the mRNA levels of hepatic glut2 and glut4 in the 5% group reached the highest levels (p < 0.05). When the feeding rate exceeded 3%, hepatic glycogen and lipid accumulation were significantly increased, leading to a fatty liver phenotype. Meanwhile, the mRNA level of liver glycogen synthetase (gysl) was significantly increased (p < 0.05), while no significant difference was observed in glycogen phosphorylase (pygl) (p > 0.05). In summary, under the conditions of this study, a feeding rate exceeding 3% significantly accelerated hepatic glycogen and lipid accumulation, which ultimately induced fatty liver formation. Bioremediation is a promising technique owing to its effectiveness, low cost, and environmental friendliness. Previous studies have focused on the degradation efficiency of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in soil and water. However, the expression of PAH-catabolic genes in organisms involved in the degradation process has been rarely and unsystematically reported. In this study, a PAH-degrading strain—Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PQ249631)—was successfully isolated from coking-contaminated soil and used for PAH degradation in soil and water. Furthermore, the degradation of PAHs (naphthalene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, and pyrene) was investigated in single, binary, and mixture systems to explore the interaction of substrates. The results showed that when naphthalene was used as a cometabolite carbon source, the removal rates of fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, and pyrene increased from 14.33%, 17.25%, 6.61%, and 4.47% to 72.08%, 100.00%, 15.63%, and 6.63%, respectively. In a PAH mixture, the degradation rate of each PAH was higher when naphthalene, rather than glucose, was used as the cometabolite carbon source. Transcriptome analysis revealed significant differential expression of PAH-catabolic genes and ATP-binding cassette transporter-related genes under naphthalene stress. The enhanced degradation of PAHs could be attributed to the augmentation of the PAH metabolic pathway and membrane transportation, facilitating the transfer of PAHs to bacteria. Supercooled water in mixed-phase clouds plays a significant role in precipitation formation, atmospheric radiation, weather modification, and aircraft flight safety. Identifying supercooled water in mixed-phase clouds is a crucial-frontier scientific issue in atmospheric detection research. In this study, we propose a new algorithm for identifying supercooled water based on the multi-spectral peak characteristics in cloud radar power spectra, combined with radar reflectivity factor and mean Doppler velocity. Using microwave radiometer data, we conducted retrieval analyses on two stratocumulus cases in the spring over the northeastern Daxing'anling region, China. The retrieval results show that the supercooled water in the spring stratocumulus clouds over the region is widespread, with liquid water content (LWC) ranging around 0.1 ± 0.05 g/m3, and particle sizes not exceeding 10 μm. The influence of updrafts on supercooled water is evident, with both showing good consistency in spatiotemporal variation trends. Comparing the liquid water path (LWP) variations retrieved from cloud radar and microwave radiometer, both showed good consistency in variation trends and high LWC areas, indicating the reliability of the identification algorithm developed in this study. The Papaveraceae plant family serves as a botanical reservoir for a variety of medicinal compounds that have been traditionally utilized in Chinese medicine for numerous generations. Growing attention towards the pharmaceutical potential of Papaveraceae has resulted in the identification of many alkaloids, which have attracted significant attention from the scientific community because of their structural complexity and wide range of biological activities, such as analgesic, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-tumor, anti-cancer, and other activities, making them potential candidates for medical use. The primary objective of this review is to analyze the existing literature on the historical use of Papaveraceae plants, focusing on their alkaloid structures and relationship with pharmacological effects, as well as provide a theoretical basis for their clinical application, with the goal of unveiling the future potential of Papaveraceae plants. Semen persicae is the dried mature seeds of Prunus persica (L.) Batsch and P. davidiana (Carr.) Franch and is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulations because of its variety of biological effects. The present study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity and toxicity profiles of semen persicae extract (SPE) after determining the amygdalin content (4.95%) using HPLC. Regarding the in vitro antioxidant activity, SPE with 2 mg/mL concentration scavenged 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), hydroxyl, and ABTS free radicals with rates of 51.78%, 55.47%, and 57.16%, respectively. The same concentration of SPE chelated 30.76% Fe2+. The in vitro cytotoxicity study revealed that SPE induced 92.45% cell viabilities of HEPG2 even at 2000 μg/mL. In the acute toxicity study, oral administration of SPE did not provoke mortality or any toxic signs at doses up to 2000 mg/kg bw. Repeated oral administration for 28 days at doses of 100, 300, and 600 mg/kg per day in rats did not show any toxicity signs or gross pathological abnormalities. The results of the present research provide basic reference data for SPE with a moderate effect on antioxidant activity and low toxicity for future screening of biological and pharmacological properties. Simple Summary: The elongation of very-long-chain fatty acids gene 2 (elovl2) of Chinese sturgeon was identified in acipenseriformes species for the first time. Elovl2 was highly conserved in molecular evolution among vertebrates. Functional characterization in yeast demonstrated that Chinese sturgeon Elovl2 could efficiently elongate C20 (20:4n-6 and 20:5n-3) and C22 (22:4n-6 and 22:5n-3) substrates, confirming its critical roles in long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (LC-PUFA) biosynthesis. Diets with different types of PUFAs can affect the transcription levels of elovl2 in Chinese sturgeon. This study enhances our understanding about the evolutionary and functional characteristics of elovl2 and also provides novel insights into the mechanism of LC-PUFA biosynthesis in vertebrates. Elongases of very-long-chain fatty acids (Elovls) are critical rate-limiting enzymes that are involved in LC-PUFA biosynthesis through catalyzing the two-carbon elongation of a pre-existing fatty acyl chain. Thus far, several Elovls have been extensively studied in teleost. However, the functional and physiological roles of Elovls in chondrichthyans have rarely been reported. In this study, we identified and characterized elovl2 from the endangered Chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis) by whole genome scanning. The results show that the coding sequence of elovl2 was 894 bp in length, for a putative protein of 297 amnio acids. Comparative genomic analyses indicated that Chinese sturgeon elovl2 was evolutionarily conserved. Functional characterization in yeast demonstrated that the Chinese sturgeon Elovl2 could efficiently elongate C20 (ARA and EPA) and C22 (22:4n-6 and 22:5n-3) substrates, confirming its critical roles in LC-PUFA biosynthesis. Spatial and temporal expression analyses showed high elovl2 mRNA levels were detected in the liver and brain and showed an increase trend both in embryonic and post-hatching stages. Interestingly, diets with vegetable oils as lipid sources could significantly induce the high expression of elovl2 in Chinese sturgeon, implying that the endogenous LC-PUFA biosynthesis pathway was stimulated by lack of LC-PUFA in their diets. Herein, we report a new strategy for the design of antibiotic agents based on the electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding, highlighting the significance of hydrogen bonding and the increased recognition sites in facilitating the interaction with bacterial cell membranes and DNA. A series of quaternary ammonium functionalized urea-based anion receptors were studied. While the monodentate mono-urea M1, bisurea M2, and trisurea M3 failed to break through the cell membrane barrier and thus could not kill bacteria, the extended bidentate dimers D1–D3 presented gradually increased membrane penetrating capabilities, DNA conformation perturbation abilities, and broad-spectrum antibacterial activities against E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, E. faecalis, and S. epidermidis. Understanding the macro and micro characteristics of precipitation in landfall typhoons is crucial to predicting the path and intensity of tropical cyclones by using numerical models. In this study, we use observations from the Global Precipitation Measurement Mission to analyze the microphysics of convection and stratiform precipitation during the landfall of Typhoon Lekima. The statistical results show that the correlation coefficient of the reflectivity factors of the spaceborne and ground-based radars is 0.77 and that the water content detected by the 18.7 GHz low-frequency vertical channel is positively correlated with the intense-precipitation rate. The storm top height is generally consistent with the location of heavy precipitation. The average near-surface precipitation rate and liquid water content of convective precipitation are higher than those of stratiform precipitation. The average mass-weighted raindrop diameter and particle number concentration of convective (stratiform) precipitation at a distance of 2 km above ground level are 1.52 mm (1.29 mm) and 39.52 (36.44, in decibel scale), respectively. Below the melting layer, there is a significant increase in average particle diameter, indicating that the collision aggregation growth process of raindrops is dominant. Three-wheeled agricultural robots possess the advantages of high flexibility, strong maneuverability, and low cost. They can adapt to various complex terrains and operational environments, making them highly valuable in the fields of crop planting, harvesting, irrigation, and more. However, the horizontal stability of the three-wheeled agricultural robot chassis is compromised when working in harsh terrain, significantly impacting the overall operational quality and safety. To address this issue, this study designed a leveling system based on active suspension and proposed a stepwise leveling method based on an adaptive dual-loop composite control strategy (ADLCCS-SLM). Firstly, in the overall control of the three-wheeled chassis, a stepwise leveling method (SLM) was introduced. This method allows for rapid leveling by incrementally adjusting one or two suspensions, effectively avoiding the complex interactions between suspension components encountered in traditional methods involving the simultaneous linkage of three suspensions. Next, in terms of suspension actuator control, an adaptive dual-loop composite control strategy (ADLCCS) was proposed. This strategy employs a dual-loop composite control both internally and externally and utilizes an improved adaptive genetic algorithm to adjust critical control parameters. This adaptation optimizes the chassis leveling performance across various road conditions. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed ADLCCS-SLM was validated through simulation and experimental testing. The test results showed that the control effect of the proposed method was significant. Photoreceptor degeneration is a major cause of untreatable blindness worldwide and has recently been targeted by emerging technologies, including cell- and gene-based therapies. Cell types of neural lineage have shown promise for replacing either photoreceptors or retinal pigment epithelial cells following delivery to the subretinal space, while cells of bone marrow lineage have been tested for retinal trophic effects following delivery to the vitreous cavity. Here we explore an alternate approach in which cells from the immature neural retinal are delivered to the vitreous cavity with the goal of providing trophic support for degenerating photoreceptors. Rat and human retinal progenitor cells were transplanted to the vitreous of rats with a well-studied photoreceptor dystrophy, resulting in substantial anatomical preservation and functional rescue of vision. Xuanwei ham is a traditional fermented meat product in China with a unique production process and excellent-quality reputation at home and abroad. To reveal the microbial community succession of Xuanwei ham at different post-ripening times (W1-4) and its relationship with flavour formation, the microbial community, free amino acids, and volatile flavour compounds (VOCs) were analysed by high-throughput sequencing, liquid chromatography (LC), and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS), respectively. A total of 25 free amino acids were detected, among which W3 contained the fewest, and most were generally lower than in hams in the other three years. Fifty-nine VOCs were detected, among which 17 were esters, and the highest ester content was found in W4. Analysis of the bacterial community composition revealed that the bacterial community composition of ham samples from W3 and other years differed greatly, and at the gate level, the dominant bacterial group of Xuanwei ham from different years was Pseudomonadota. At the genus level, the most abundant genera in W1, W2, and W4 were all dominated by Sarocladium, Klebsiella, and Vibrio, with Klebsiella being the most abundant in W1. The most abundant genus in W3 was Vibrio, and the second most dominant genera were Sarocladium and Gammaretrovirus. Calcium-binding peptides have gained significant attention due to their potential applications in various fields. In this study, we aimed to prepare, characterize, and evaluate the stability of calcium-binding peptides derived from chicken blood. Chicken hemoglobin peptides (CPs) were obtained by protease hydrolysis and were applied to prepare chicken hemoglobin peptide–calcium chelate (CP-Ca). The preparation conditions were optimized, and the characteristics and stability of CP-Ca were analyzed. The optimal chelating conditions were determined by single-factor and response surface tests, and the maximum calcium ion chelating rate was 77.54%. Amino acid analysis indicated that glutamic acid and aspartic acid motifs played an important role in the chelation of the calcium ions and CP. According to the characterization analysis, CP-Ca was a different substance compared with CP; calcium ions chelated CPs via the sites of carbonyl oxygen, carboxyl oxygen, and amino nitrogen groups; and after the chelation, the structure changed from a smooth homogeneous plate to compact granular. The stability analysis showed that CP-Ca was stable at different temperatures, pH, and gastrointestinal conditions. The study indicates that chicken blood is a promising source of peptide–calcium chelates, providing a theoretical basis for application in functional foods and improving the utilization value of chicken blood. The impact of konjac glucomannan (KGM)-based synbiotics on yogurt quality is not well understood. This study investigated the effects of a synbiotic mixture of KGM and the selected probiotic Lactiplantibacillus plantarum SHY130 on the physicochemical, antioxidant, and sensory properties of yogurt. The results showed that KGM significantly promoted the growth of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum SHY130. The synbiotics dramatically enhanced the count of lactic acid bacteria in yogurt during the 14 days of storage. Texture analysis indicated that the synbiotic supplement had no impact on springiness and cohesiveness but resulted in notable reductions in hardness, gumminess, and chewiness. The synbiotics did not significantly affect the water-holding capacity and syneresis. While the synbiotics initially decreased yogurt viscosity, it increased with storage time. Furthermore, the synbiotics significantly improved the yogurt's antioxidant capacity. Additionally, the supplementation of the synbiotics did not adversely affect sensory properties, although the synbiotics containing 0.02% KGM negatively impacted overall acceptability. The thermal and dynamic effects of the special topography of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau have a significant impact on rainfall in China. Utilizing NCEP/NCAR monthly reanalysis data alongside precipitation observations from 1936 monitoring stations across China spanning from 1966 to 2022, this study establishes a location index for the thermal low-pressure center situated over the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. Temporal variations in the location index and summer (July) precipitation patterns in China were studied. Over the past six decades, thermal low-pressure centers have been predominantly positioned near 90° E and 32.5° N within a geopotential height of 4360 gpm, with their distribution extending from east to west rather than from south to north. The longitudinal and latitudinal position indices showed the same linear trend, with a negative trend before the 21st century, and then began to turn positive. Mutation analysis highlights pronounced weakening mutations occurring in 1981 and 1973, with the longitudinal index transitioning from an interannual cycle of approximately 6–8 years, while the latitudinal index displays quasi-cyclic oscillations of 5 and 8 and 12–14 years. Strong negative correlations are evident between the location indices and precipitation along the southeastern edge of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and in southern China, contrasting with the positive correlations observed in the central-eastern plateau, northwest, north, and the Huang-Huai region of China. The center of the thermal low is located to the east and north, corresponding to the deeper surface thermal low in most areas east of China, and the stronger transport of warm and wet air from the southwest wind, leading to greater convergence of southwest wind and northwest wind in China's northern region. The south of the Yangtze River is controlled by the strengthening West Pacific subtropical high and South Asia high, resulting in a significant decrease in precipitation, and the warm and humid air from the southwest on the west side of the West Pacific subtropical high is also transported to the north, increasing the precipitation in most parts of the north. Passive vibration isolation techniques with low-frequency characteristics have been a hot topic in the aerospace field. A hydraulic inertial vibration isolator is a highly effective type of isolator for controlling low-frequency vibrations. It typically consists of a main spring, a minor spring, an inertial mass, and a fluid domain. Due to its multi-domain nature, analyzing the isolation mechanism of this type of isolator is challenging. The bond graph method is employed to establish the dynamic model of the isolator. Subsequently, the state equations of the isolator are derived, and the energy equations of both the mechanical and the fluid parts of the isolator are obtained. Based on this, the energy transfer characteristics between the mechanical and fluid domains inside the isolator under external excitation are discussed. The time-domain response of the forces transmitted to the foundation is analyzed. It is shown that the anti-resonance frequency occurs when the forces transmitted to the foundation generated by the main spring and the fluid pressure are equal to that of the minor spring. To verify the proposed method's correctness, a prototype of the isolator is designed and a carefully designed experiment is conducted. The acceleration transmissibility of the isolator is used to conduct a comparative study. The results show that the theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental results. To depict the dynamic characteristics of the isolator under large amplitude vibration, the nonlinear dynamic model of the isolator is developed, and the corresponding force transmissibility of the isolator is formulated. The energy flow between the mechanical and the fluid domains under this condition is also analyzed. The results indicate that the energy flow responses exhibit a similar change tendency to the force transmissibility. However, the peak of the energy ratio between the mechanical subsystem and the fluid is the same as the linear condition, suggesting that this value is determined by the amplification ratio of the isolator. Ammonium transporters (AMTs) are vital plasma membrane proteins facilitating NH4+ uptake and transport, crucial for plant growth. The identification of favorable AMT genes is the main goal of improving ammonium-tolerant algas. However, there have been no reports on the systematic identification and expression analysis of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (C. reinhardtii) AMT genes. This study comprehensively identified eight CrAMT genes, distributed across eight chromosomes, all containing more than 10 transmembrane structures. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that all CrAMTs belonged to the AMT1 subfamily. The conserved motifs and domains of CrAMTs were similar to those of the AMT1 members of OsAMTs and AtAMTs. Notably, the gene fragments of CrAMTs are longer and contain more introns compared to those of AtAMTs and OsAMTs. And the promoter regions of CrAMTs are enriched with cis-elements associated with plant hormones and light response. Under NH4+ treatment, CrAMT1;1 and CrAMT1;3 were significantly upregulated, while CrAMT1;2, CrAMT1;4, and CrAMT1;6 saw a notable decrease. CrAMT1;7 and CrAMT1;8 also experienced a decline, albeit less pronounced. Transgenic algas with overexpressed CrAMT1;7 did not show a significant difference in growth compared to CC-125, while transgenic algas with CrAMT1;7 knockdown exhibited growth inhibition. Transgenic algas with overexpressed or knocked-down CrAMT1;8 displayed reduced growth compared to CC-125, which also resulted in the suppression of other CrAMT genes. None of the transgenic algas showed better growth than CC-125 at high ammonium levels. In summary, our study has unveiled the potential role of CrAMT genes in high-ammonium environments and can serve as a foundational research platform for investigating ammonium-tolerant algal species. Affected by geological factors, the scale of surface deformation in a hilly semi-desertification mining area varies. Meanwhile, there is certain dense vegetation on the ground, so it is difficult to construct a high-precision and complete image of a subsidence basin by using a single monitoring method, and hence the laws of the deformation and inversion of mining parameters cannot be known. Therefore, we firstly propose conducting collaborative monitoring by using InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar), UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), and 3DTLS (three-dimensional terrestrial laser scanning). The time-series complete surface subsidence basin is constructed by fusing heterogeneous data. In this paper, SBAS-InSAR (Small Baseline Subset) technology, which has the characteristics of reducing the time and space discorrelation, is used to obtain the small-scale deformation of the subsidence basin, oblique photogrammetry and 3D-TLS with strong penetrating power are used to obtain the anomaly and large-scale deformation, and the local polynomial interpolation based on the weight of heterogeneous data is used to construct a complete and high-precision subsidence basin. Compared with GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) monitoring data, the mean square errors of 1.442 m, 0.090 m, 0.072 m are obtained. The root mean square error of the high-precision image of the subsidence basin data is 0.040 m, accounting for 1.4% of the maximum subsidence value. The high-precision image of complete subsidence basin data can provide reliable support for the study of surface subsidence law and mining parameter inversion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Berries are nutritious and valuable, but their thin skin, soft flesh, and fragility make harvesting and picking challenging. Manual and traditional mechanical harvesting methods are commonly used, but they are costly in labor and can damage the fruit. To overcome these challenges, it may be worth exploring alternative harvesting methods. Using berry fruit-picking robots with perception technology is a viable option to improve the efficiency of berry harvesting. This review presents an overview of the mechanisms of berry fruit-picking robots, encompassing their underlying principles, the mechanics of picking and grasping, and an examination of their structural design. The importance of perception technology during the picking process is highlighted. Then, several perception techniques commonly used by berry fruit-picking robots are described, including visual perception, tactile perception, distance measurement, and switching sensors. The methods of these four perceptual techniques used by berry-picking robots are described, and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. In addition, the technical characteristics of perception technologies in practical applications are analyzed and summarized, and several advanced applications of berry fruit-picking robots are presented. Background: This study aimed to examine the differential variations in the metabolic composition of follicular fluid (FF) among normal-weight patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and controls and to identify potential biomarkers that may offer insights into the early identification and management of these patients. Methods: We collected FF samples from 45 normal-weight women with PCOS and 36 normal-weight controls without PCOS who were undergoing in vitro fertilization–embryo transfer. An untargeted metabolomic study of collected FF from infertile women was performed using high-performance liquid chromatography–tandem spectrometry (LC-MS). The tendency of the two groups to separate was demonstrated through multivariate analysis. Univariate analysis and variable importance in projection were used to screen out differential metabolites. Metabolic pathway analysis was conducted using the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG), and a diagnostic model was established using the random forest algorithm. Results: The metabolomics analysis revealed an increase in the expression of 23 metabolites and a decrease in that of 10 metabolites in the FF of normal-weight women with PCOS. According to the KEGG pathway analysis, these differential metabolites primarily participated in the metabolism of glycerophospholipids and the biosynthesis of steroid hormones. Based on the biomarker combination of the top 10 metabolites, the area under the curve value was 0.805. The concentrations of prostaglandin E2 in the FF of individuals with PCOS exhibited an inverse association with the proportion of high-quality embryos (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Our research identified a distinct metabolic profile of the FF from normal-weight women with PCOS. The results offer a broader comprehension of the pathogenesis and advancement of PCOS, and the detected differential metabolites could be potential biomarkers and targets for the treatment of PCOS. The transient stability assessment based on machine learning faces challenges such as sample data imbalance and poor generalization. To address these problems, this paper proposes an intelligent enhancement method for real-time adaptive assessment of transient stability. In the offline phase, a convolutional neural network (CNN) is used as the base classifier. A model training method based on contrastive learning is introduced, aiming to increase the spatial distance between positive and negative samples in the mapping space. This approach effectively improves the accuracy of the model in recognizing unbalanced samples. In the online phase, when real data with different distribution characteristics from the offline data are encountered, an active transfer strategy is employed to update the model. New system samples are obtained through instance transfer from the original system, and an active sampling strategy considering uncertainty is designed to continuously select high-value samples from the new system for labeling. The model parameters are then updated by fine-tuning. This approach drastically reduces the cost of updating while improving the model's adaptability. To investigate the effects of long-term prestress loss on concrete box girders strengthened with external prestressing, a large-span box girder, in service for over 20 years and strengthened with external prestressing, was monitored for four months. Prestress loss in the longitudinal, vertical, and transverse directions of the box girder was calculated according to Chinese code requirements. Magnetic flux rope force transducers were used to monitor the prestress loss in the external prestressing cables. Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors were used to monitor deflection changes at the mid-span of the bridge. Finally, the effect of prestress loss in the longitudinal, vertical, and transverse tendons on mid-span deflection was investigated through simulations using ABAQUS software. The results show that instantaneous prestress loss accounts for most of the total loss compared to long-term loss, and that longitudinal prestress loss has the most significant effect on mid-span deflection. The impact of longitudinal prestress loss on deflection before and after strengthening was also compared. The downward deflection and up-ward arch caused by longitudinal tendon prestress loss were reduced after strengthening, con-firming the effectiveness of the external prestressing method. Friction and wear are the main failure sources of face seals. When the surfaces of sealing rings exhibit greater roughness, the level of friction might increase and lead to sealing failure. Therefore, in this paper, based on the elastic contact hypothesis of rough and wavy surfaces and the influence of temperature on the elastic modulus of materials, a thermoelastic contact lubrication model of a gas-lubricated end seal is established. The novelty and advantage of this study is that it takes the effect of surface roughness into consideration during thermoelastic analysis of gas-lubricated seals. The film pressure, temperature, contact force and deformation of a gas spiral groove-faced seal are numerically determined. The influence of surface roughness on the contact distribution, deformation and temperature of the end-face seal at different speeds and pressures is analyzed. The film thickness increases as the rotational speed increases from 1 rpm to 2000 rpm, while the contact pressure sharply decreases from 0.25 kPa to 0. The analysis shows that the roughness contact mainly happens on the inner side of the rings due to convergent distortion of the seal faces, which easily causes partial wear of the seal faces. Moreover, it can also be found that the spiral grooves on the sealing surface can produce obvious hydrodynamic pressure effect due to the function of shear speed when the speed increases to 2000 rpm, while the film temperature increases from 293.3 K to about 306 K. The greater surface roughness results in a larger temperature rise under low-rotational-speed and lower-seal-pressure conditions, which further increases the risk of severe wear or even failure of the seal faces. High-quality visibility forecasting benefits traffic transportation safety, public services, and tourism. For a more accurate forecast of the visibility in the Guizhou region of China, we constructed several visibility forecasting models via progressive refinements in different compositions of input observational variables and the adoption of the Unet architecture to perform hourly visibility forecasts with lead times ranging from 0 to 72 h over Guizhou, China. Three Unet-based visibility forecasting models were constructed according to different inputs of meteorological variables. The model training via multiple observational variables and visibility forecasts of a high-spatiotemporal-resolution numerical weather prediction model (China Meteorological Administration, Guangdong, CMA-GD) produced a higher threat score (TS), which led to substantial improvements for different thresholds of visibility compared to CMA-GD. However, the Unet-based models had a larger bias score (BS) than the CMA-GD model. By introducing the U2net architecture, there was a further improvement in the TS of the model by approximately a factor of two compared to the Unet model, along with a significant reduction in the BS, which enhanced the stability of the model forecast. In particular, the U2net-based model performed the best in terms of the TS below the visibility threshold of 200 m, with a more than eightfold increase over the CMA-GD model. Furthermore, the U2net-based model had some improvements in the TS, BS, and RMSE (root-mean-square error) compared to the LSTM_Attention model. The spatial distribution of the TS showed that the U2net-based model performed better at the model grid scale of 3 km than at the scale of individual weather stations. In summary, the visibility forecasting model based on the U2net algorithm, multiple observational variables, and visibility data from the CMA-GD model performed the best. The compositions of input observational variables were the key factor in improving the deep learning model's forecasting capability, and these improvements could improve the value of forecasts and support the socioeconomic needs of sectors reliant on visibility forecasting. Terahertz spectroscopy has unique advantages in the study of biological molecules in aqueous solutions. However, water has a strong absorption capability in the terahertz region. Reducing the amount of liquid could decrease interference with the terahertz wave, which may, however, affect the measurement accuracy. Therefore, it is particularly important to balance the amount and water content of liquid samples. In this work, a terahertz metamaterial sensor based on metallic strips is designed, fabricated, and used to detect reverse micelles. An aqueous confinement environment in reverse micelles can improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the terahertz response. Due to "water pool" trapped in reverse micelles, the DOPC (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) solution and DOPC emulsion can successfully be identified in intensity by terahertz spectroscopy. Combined with the metamaterial sensor, an obvious frequency shift of 30 GHz can be achieved to distinguish the DOPC emulsion (5%) from the DOPC solution. This approach may provide a potential way for improving the sensitivity of detecting trace elements in a buffer solution, thus offering a valuable toolkit toward bioanalytical applications. Flower endophytic fungi play a major role in plant reproduction, stress resistance, and growth and development. However, little is known about how artificial cultivation affects the endophytic fungal community found in the tepals of rare horticultural plants. In this research, we used high-throughput sequencing technology combined with bioinformatics analysis to reveal the endophytic fungal community of tepals in Lirianthe delavayi and the effects of artificial cultivation on the community composition and function of these plants, using tepals of L. delavayi from wild habitat, cultivated campus habitat, and cultivated field habitat as research objects. The results showed that the variety of endophytic fungi in the tepals of L. delavayi was abundant, with a total of 907 Amplicon sequencing variants (ASVs) obtained from all the samples, which were further classified into 4 phyla, 23 classes, 51 orders, 97 families, 156 genera, and 214 species. We also found that artificial cultivation had a significant impact on the community composition of endophytic fungi. Although there was no significant difference at the phylum level, with Ascomycota and Basidiomycota being the main phyla, there were significant differences in dominant and unique genera. Artificial cultivation has led to the addition of new pathogenic fungal genera, such as Phaeosphaeria, Botryosphaeria, and Paraconiothyrium, increasing the risk of disease in L. delavayi. In addition, the abundance of the endophytic fungus Rhodotorula, which is typical in plant reproductive organs, decreased. Artificial cultivation also altered the metabolic pathways of endophytic fungi, decreasing their ability to resist pests and diseases and reducing their ability to reproduce. A comparison of endophytic fungi in tepals and leaves revealed significant differences in community composition and changes in the endophytic diversity caused by artificial cultivation. To summarize, our results indicate that endophytic fungi in the tepals of L. delavayi mainly consist of pathogenic and saprophytic fungi. Simultaneously, artificial cultivation introduces a great number of pathogenic fungi that alter the metabolic pathways associated with plant resistance to disease and pests, as well as reproduction, which can increase the risk of plant disease and reduce plant reproductive capacity. In the current work, a facile ion-solution spraying strategy was employed for one-step fabrication of CsPbBr3 perovskite thin films under atmosphere. The dependences of sample properties on annealing parameters (toleration temperature and duration time) were investigated in detail. As the results suggested, the sample prepared at 200 °C for 15 min featured better properties than others. The sample displayed a cubic phase with good crystallinity, a dense and compact morphology, a bandgap energy of 2.289 eV, and an average decay lifetime of 55.536 ns. According to related research, different body temperatures, heart rates, and locomotor behaviors of small-tailed cold goats can represent the physical condition of the goats themselves and are used as direct evidence for evaluating the physical health status of small-tailed cold goats. In this paper, we designed and tested a system for predicting the health status of small-tailed cold sheep based on wearable information monitoring technology. To test the system, sheep wearable devices were worn on 36 small-tailed cold sheep of different ages and inconsistent health conditions at different time points from May to October. A SLBAS-BP neural network model for predicting the health condition of small-tailed cold sheep was established using the collected and processed data, which overcame the problem that the traditional gradient descent method in the BP neural network is prone to fall into local optimization leading to insufficient prediction ability. The correct prediction rates of the improved BP neural network for the four health conditions of healthy, sub-healthy, fever, and disease were 98.4%, 94.5%, 90.4%, and 98.7%, respectively, and the average correct prediction rate of the four conditions was 5.8% higher than that before the improvement, reaching 95.2%. UV-B is an important environmental factor that differentially affects plant growth and secondary metabolites. The effects of supplemental ultraviolet-B (sUV-B) exposure (T1, 1.40 kJ·m−2·day−1; T2, 2.81 kJ·m−2·day−1; and T3, 5.62 kJ·m−2·day−1) on the growth biomass, physiological characteristics, and secondary metabolites were studied. Our results indicated that leaf thickness was significantly (p < 0.05) reduced under T3 relative to the control (natural light exposure, CK); The contents of 6-BA and IAA were significantly reduced (p < 0.05); and the contents of ABA, 10-deacetylbaccatin III, and baccatin III were significantly (p < 0.05) increased under T1 and T2. The paclitaxel content was the highest (0.036 ± 0.0018 mg·g−1) under T3. The cephalomannine content was significantly increased under T1. Hmgr gene expression was upregulated under T1 and T3. The gene expressions of Bapt and Dbtnbt were significantly (p < 0.05) upregulated under sUV-B exposure, and the gene expressions of CoA, Ts, and Dbat were significantly (p < 0.05) downregulated. A correlation analysis showed that the 6-BA content had a significantly (p < 0.05) positive correlation with Dbat gene expression. The IAA content had a significantly (p < 0.05) positive correlation with the gene expression of Hmgr, CoA, Ts, and Dbtnbt. The ABA content had a significantly (p < 0.05) positive correlation with Bapt gene expression. Dbat gene expression had a significantly (p < 0.05) positive correlation with the 10-deacetylbaccatin content. Hmgr gene expression was positively correlated with the contents of baccatin III and cephalomannine. To unveil the impact of each condition variable on the leaching efficiency index during the heap leaching process of rare earth ore and establish a prediction model for leaching conditions and efficiency, common parameters in the heap leaching process of rare earth ore were selected. In addition, the pilot-scale test data were collected over 50 days. Based on the collected data, the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) linear regression method was used for fitting analysis to determine each variable's influence on the change in leaching efficiency. The results indicated a linear relationship between the flow rate of the leaching solution and leaching efficiency. In contrast, no obvious linear relationship was observed between other condition variables and leaching efficiency. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient was calculated to analyze the nonlinear correlation between the abovementioned variables and the leaching efficiency index. The correlation coefficients were found to be −0.78, 0.88, −0.93, −0.53, 0.71, and −0.93 for ammonium content in the leaching agent, pH of the leaching agent, rare earth content, ammonium content in the leaching solution, pH of the leaching solution, and the flow rate of the leaching solution, respectively. This suggests that the flow rate of the leaching solution, rare earth content, and pH of the leaching agent significantly influence leaching efficiency, thus affecting the rare earth leaching efficiency index. Based on the correlation analysis results of leaching conditions and efficiency, a dataset with limited data trained by the common Ordinary Least Squares model, linear regression model, random forest model, and support vector machine regression model was selected to develop a prediction model for the leaching process data. The results indicated that the random forest model had the lowest mean square error of 7.47 among the four models and the coefficient of determination closest to 1 (0.99). This model can effectively analyze and predict condition variables' data and leaching efficiency index in the heap leaching process of rare earth ore, with a prediction accuracy exceeding 90%, thus providing intelligent guidance for the heap leaching process of rare earth ores. The plant homeodomain finger (PHD finger) protein, a type of zinc finger protein extensively distributed in eukaryotes, plays diverse roles in regulating plant growth and development. While PHD finger proteins have been identified in various species, their functions remain largely unexplored in pea (Pisum sativum). In this study, we identified 84 members of the PHD finger gene family in pea, which displayed an uneven distribution across seven chromosomes. Through a comprehensive analysis using data from Arabidopsis thaliana and Medicago truncatula, we categorized the PHD finger proteins into 20 subfamilies via phylogenetic tree analysis. Each subfamily exhibited distinct variations in terms of quantity, genetic structure, conserved domains, and physical and chemical properties. Collinearity analysis revealed conserved evolutionary relationships among the PHD finger genes across the three different species. Furthermore, we identified the conserved and important roles of the subfamily M members in anther development. RT-qPCR and in situ hybridization revealed high expression of the pea subfamily M members PsPHD11 and PsPHD16 in microspores and the tapetum layer. In conclusion, this analysis of the PHD finger family in pea provides valuable guidance for future research on the biological roles of PHD finger proteins in pea and other leguminous plants. Eucommia ulmoides Oliver with rich active components, such as flavonoids, lignans, polysaccharides, is used as a medicinal plant. Unfortunately, its popularization and cultivation are limited due to its low-temperature sensitivity. In this study, we aimed to explore the effect of different doses of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) radiation (UV-1, UV-2, and UV-3) and low-temperature (LT) stress, both applied individually and in combination, on the photosynthetic properties, biochemical parameters, and the contents of salicylic acid in E. ulmoides plants. The results showed that UV-B radiation alone significantly reduced photosynthetic performance and soluble total sugar content, as well as causing increases in soluble protein, proline, and superoxide anion content and antioxidant activity including SOD, POD, CAT, total phenol, and total flavonoid content. The leaf thickness and photosynthetic parameters significantly increased, as well as a significant decrease in SOD activity and soluble sugar, proline, and superoxide anion content after 14 days of none-UV-B radiation exposure. UV-B combined with LT significantly improved photosynthetic properties, Chl content, and soluble sugar content but significantly decreased proline content. Principal component analysis showed that salicylic acid was the key factor in improving LT tolerance, and UV-2 radiation showed the best LT resistance. We aim to provide new ideas and a theoretical basis for the directional cultivation and LT stress tolerance research of E. ulmoides. Our findings demonstrate that the combined effect was more positively helpful in improving the ability to resist LT tolerance via the improvement of photosynthetic ability and the increase in soluble sugar and salicylic acid content in E. ulmoides. Accurate identification and evolutionary analysis of core technology topics within patent texts play a crucial role in enabling enterprises to discern the development trajectory of core technologies, optimize research and development (R&D) strategies, and foster technological innovation. Based on the perspective of time series dynamic analysis, this study uses the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling and TF-IDF text vectorization methods to comprehensively mine and identify patent technology topics in the field of unmanned ships. This study deeply analyzes the dynamic evolution of unmanned ship technology topics from two aspects: the evolution of technology theme intensity and the evolution of technology theme content. We refine the development characteristics and future development directions of unmanned ship technology. The findings reveal two hot technologies, six growth technologies, and six declining technologies in unmanned ship technology. Furthermore, the analysis of technical topic evolution illustrates a pattern of fragmentation, inheritance, and integration. This study advances the methodologies used for identifying and analyzing patent technology topics and helps to grasp the development rules and evolutionary trends of core technologies. Pesticides play a crucial role in agricultural production by preventing diseases and pests and ensuring food yield. However, the irrational use of pesticides can lead to numerous issues that compromise crop quality and counteract the original intentions of their application. Therefore, it is necessary to identify more effective methods to counteract pesticide stress. Here we review the impacts of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides on plants and the measures taken to reduce pesticide residues on plants. We have found that despite the substantial differences in the mechanisms of action of the aforementioned three types of pesticides, the adverse effects they inflict on plants are similar, and at certain dosages, they can severely constrain plant growth and disrupt physiological functions. Also, most current research on using exogenous growth regulators to alleviate pesticide stress still focuses on photosynthesis, the antioxidant system, three-stage detoxification, and secondary metabolites, neglecting the search for genes that respond to pesticide stress. We believe that by combining biological protection with post-harvest treatment techniques and exploring potential genes that are responsive to pesticide stress, a better strategy for dealing with pesticide stress can be found, thereby promoting sustainable agricultural development. Epigenetic and metabolic reprogramming alterations are two important features of tumors, and their reversible, spatial, and temporal regulation is a distinctive hallmark of carcinogenesis. Epigenetics, which focuses on gene regulatory mechanisms beyond the DNA sequence, is a new entry point for tumor therapy. Moreover, metabolic reprogramming drives hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) initiation and progression, highlighting the significance of metabolism in this disease. Exploring the inter-regulatory relationship between tumor metabolic reprogramming and epigenetic modification has become one of the hot directions in current tumor metabolism research. As viral etiologies have given way to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)-induced HCC, it is urgent that complex molecular pathways linking them and hepatocarcinogenesis be explored. However, how aberrant crosstalk between epigenetic modifications and metabolic reprogramming affects MASLD-induced HCC lacks comprehensive understanding. A better understanding of their linkages is necessary and urgent to improve HCC treatment strategies. For this reason, this review examines the interwoven landscape of molecular carcinogenesis in the context of MASLD-induced HCC, focusing on mechanisms regulating aberrant epigenetic alterations and metabolic reprogramming in the development of MASLD-induced HCC and interactions between them while also updating the current advances in metabolism and epigenetic modification-based therapeutic drugs in HCC. Using CloudSat/CALIPSO satellite data and ERA5 reanalysis data from 2006 to 2010, the effects of aerosols on ice- and mixed-phase, single-layer, non-precipitating clouds over the Tibetan Plateau during nighttime in the MAM (March to May), JJA (June to August), SON (September to November), and DJF (December to February) seasons were examined. The results indicated the following: (1) The macrophysical and microphysical characteristics of ice- and mixed-phase clouds exhibit a nonlinear trend with increasing aerosol optical depth (AOD). When the logarithm of AOD (lnAOD) was ≤−4.0, with increasing AOD during MAM and JJA nights, the cloud thickness and ice particle effective radius of ice-phase clouds and mixed-phase clouds, the ice water path and ice particle number concentration of ice-phase clouds, and the liquid water path and cloud fraction of mixed-phase clouds all decreased; during SON and DJF nights, the cloud thickness of ice-phase clouds, cloud top height, liquid droplet number concentration, and liquid water path of mixed-phase clouds all decreased. When the lnAOD was >−4.0, with increasing AOD during MAM and JJA nights, the cloud top height, cloud base height, cloud fraction, and ice particle number concentration of ice-phase clouds, and the ice water path of mixed-phase clouds all increased; during SON and DJF nights, the cloud fraction of mixed-phase clouds and the ice water path of ice-phase clouds all increased. (2) Under the condition of excluding meteorological factors, including the U-component of wind, V-component of wind, pressure vertical velocity, temperature, and relative humidity at the atmospheric pressure heights near the average cloud top height, within the cloud, and the average cloud base height, as well as precipitable water vapor, convective available potential energy, and surface pressure. The adhesive force between two contact surfaces often leads to an increase in the friction force of the rubber seal O-ring after a certain dwell time, forming dwell time effects and affecting the reliability of sealing. The dwell time effect may result in substantial instability with respect to the frictional behavior of rubber O-rings, which needs to be carefully taken into account in the design of rubber seals. Therefore, in this paper, the dwell time effect of the friction force was studied experimentally for intermittent reciprocating rubber seal O-rings coupled with stainless steel 316L and a sealing air medium. The friction force of three kinds of rubber materials, including fluorine rubber (FPM), silicone rubber (SI), and nitrile rubber (NBR), was measured under different dwell times, compression ratios, and seal pressure. The results showed that there was a rolling frictional force, and the second peak value of the frictional force caused by the O-ring's rolling under shear action and after the maximum static frictional force was observed at the starting stage of reciprocating motion. For FPM O-rings, the rolling friction force was much greater than the maximum static frictional force at about four times the value of the compression ratio at 9% and seal pressure at 0; moreover, the force was much greater at greater compression ratios. The dwell time effect was significant in the friction forces of rubber O-rings. The friction force increases with an increase in dwell time. The increase in maximum static friction force exceeded 50% after 5 dwell days. The increase in seal pressure led to the disappearance of the rolling friction feature and the rapid increase in friction during the starting stage. Under gas seal pressure conditions, the dwell time effect still led to a significant increase in friction force. In this paper, the sampling and reconstruction problems in function subspaces of L p (R n) associated with the multi-dimensional special affine Fourier transform (SAFT) are discussed. First, we give the definition of the multi-dimensional SAFT and study its properties including the Parseval's relation, the canonical convolution theorems and the chirp-modulation periodicity. Then, a kind of function spaces are defined by the canonical convolution in the multi-dimensional SAFT domain, the existence and the properties of the dual basis functions are demonstrated, and the L p -stability of the basis functions is established. Finally, based on the nonuniform samples taken on a dense set, we propose an iterative reconstruction algorithm with exponential convergence to recover the signals in a L p -subspace associated with the multi-dimensional SAFT, and the validity of the algorithm is demonstrated via simulations. Grain size has an important effect on rice yield. Although several key genes that regulate seed size have been reported in rice, their molecular mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, a rice small grain size 2 (sms2) mutant was identified, and MutMap resequencing analysis results showed that a 2 bp insertion in the second exon of the LOC_Os02g01590 gene resulted in a grain length and width lower than those of the wild-type Teqing (TQ). We found that SMS2 encoded vacuolar acid invertase, a novel allele of OsINV3, which regulates grain size. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses showed that SMS2 was involved in endoplasmic reticulum protein synthesis, cysteine and methionine metabolism, and propionic acid metabolism, thereby regulating grain size. An analysis of sugar content in young panicles showed that SMS2 reduced sucrose, fructose, and starch contents, thus regulating grain size. A haplotype analysis showed that Hap2 of SMS2 had a longer grain and was widely present in indica rice varieties. Background: Phytophthora cinnamomi is one of the soil-borne pathogens that causes root rot and stem rot in many plants globally. P. cinnamomi has serious economic, social, and environmental impacts, threatening natural ecosystems and biodiversity. Methods: In this study, a molecular detection method based on Recombinant polymorphic amplification (RPA) combined using the CRISPR/Cas12a system was developed for P. cinnamomi. The method was found to be highly specific for P. cinnamomi. Results: The results showed that 10 P. cinnamomi isolates were positive; however, 21 Phytophthora species, 4 Phytopythium species, 18 fungal species, and 2 Bursaphelenchus species were negative. In total, 10 pg·µL−1 of P. cinnamomi genomic DNA can be detected. The detection process is performed within 20 min at 37 °C, which makes it fast and convenient for use. Discussion: In conclusion, the RPA-CRISPR/Cas12a system in this study is a promising tool for the rapid and sensitive detection of P. cinnamomi in plant samples. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Partitioning experiments and the chemistry of iron meteorites indicate that the light element nitrogen could be sequestered into the metallic core of rocky planets during core–mantle differentiation. The thermal conductivity and the mineralogy of the Fe–N system under core conditions could therefore influence the planetary cooling, core crystallization, and evolution of the intrinsic magnetic field of rocky planets. Limited experiments have been conducted to study the thermal properties and phase relations of Fe–N components under planetary core conditions, such as those found in the Moon, Mercury, and Ganymede. In this study, we report results from high-pressure experiments involving electrical resistivity measurements of Fe–N phases at a pressure of 5 GPa and temperatures up to 1400 K. Four Fe–N compositions, including Fe–10%N, Fe–6.4%N, Fe–2%N, and Fe–1%N (by weight percent), were prepared and subjected to recovery experiments at 5 GPa and 1273 K. These experiments show that Fe–10%N and Fe–6.4%N form a single hexagonal close-packed phase (ɛ-nitrides), while Fe–2%N and Fe–1%N exhibit a face-centered cubic structure (γ-Fe). In separate experiments, the resistivity data were collected during the cooling after compressing the starting materials to 5 GPa and heating to ~1400 K. The resistivity of all compositions, similar to the pure γ-Fe, exhibits weak temperature dependence. We found that N has a strong effect on the resistivity of metallic Fe under rocky planetary core conditions compared to other potential light elements such as Si. The temperature-dependence of the resistivity also revealed high-pressure phase transition points in the Fe–N system. A congruent reaction, ε ⇌ γ', occurs at ~673 K in Fe–6.4%N, which is ~280 K lower than that at ambient pressure. Furthermore, the resistivity data provided constraints on the high-pressure phase boundary of the polymorphic transition, γ ⇌ α, and an eutectoid equilibrium of γ' ⇌ α + ε. Sea Island cotton is renowned for its superior fiber quality. Although mechanical harvesting has the potential to significantly increase efficiency and reduce the production cost of Sea Island cotton, there is still little research in this area. In this study, we analyzed 240 Sea Island cotton germplasm resources and evaluated 19 traits related to mechanical harvesting. The coefficient of variation ranged from 5.42% to 66.96%, and the genetic diversity index spanned from 1.57 to 2.07. In most traits studied, there was a strong correlation between the height of the first fruiting branch and the defoliation rate. The 19 traits were categorized into 6 factorial groups by principal component analysis, in which the defoliation factor contributed the most (30.89%). The cluster analysis divided the 240 cotton accessions into four main groups, with the second group exhibiting favorable mechanical harvesting characteristics such as higher defoliation rate and first fruit branch height. Using stepwise regression, a model was constructed with the joint evaluation score F-value as the response variable and eight traits (X1: PH, X2: SNB, X3: SBN, X4: MBL, X5: AFBM, X7: MLIA, X8: NB, and X13: 15 d DR) as predictors: Y = −7.2 + 0.01X1 + 0.23X2 + 0.192X3 + 0.038X4 + 0.007X5 + 0.014X7 + 0.025X8 + 2.952X13. Selected materials suitable for machine harvesting, such as MoShi729, were identified. This study provides valuable theoretical insights into the mechanical harvesting of Sea Island cotton germplasm resources and identifies promising materials for targeted breeding and improvement programs. The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning has revolutionized the field of data analysis in recent years, including signal data acquired by remote sensors. Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology is widely used in atmospheric research for measuring various atmospheric parameters. Wind measurement using LiDAR data has traditionally relied on the spectral centroid (SC) algorithm. However, this approach has limitations in handling LiDAR data, particularly in low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regions. To overcome these limitations, this study leverages the capabilities of customized deep-learning techniques to achieve accurate wind profile reconstruction. The study uses datasets obtained from the European Centre for Medium Weather Forecasting (ECMWF) Reanalysis v5 (ERA5) and the mobile Incoherent Doppler LiDAR (ICDL) system constructed by the University of Science and Technology of China. We present a simulation-based approach for generating wind profiles from the statistical data and the associated theoretical calculations. Whereafter, our team constructed a convolutional neural network (CNN) model based on the U-Net architecture to replace the SC algorithm for LiDAR data post-processing. The CNN-generated results are evaluated and compared with the SC results and the ERA5 data. This study explores the effects of growth temperature of InGaN/GaN quantum well (QW) layers on indium migration, structural quality, and luminescence properties. It is found that within a specific range, the growth temperature can control the efficiency of In incorporation into QWs and strain energy accumulated in the QW structure, modulating the luminescence efficiency. Temperature-dependent photoluminescence (TDPL) measurements revealed a more pronounced localized state effect in QW samples grown at higher temperatures. Moreover, a too high annealing temperature will enhance indium migration, leading to an increased density of non-radiative recombination centers and a more pronounced quantum-confined Stark effect (QCSE), thereby reducing luminescence intensity. Cobalt complexes have previously been reported to exhibit high faradaic efficiency in reducing CO2 to CO. Herein, we synthesized capsule-like cobalt–polypyridine diamine complexes [Co(L1)](BF4)2 (1) and [Co(L2) (CH3CN)](BF4)2 (2) as catalysts for the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2. Under catalytic conditions, complexes 1 and 2 demonstrated the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO in the presence or absence of CH3OH as a proton source. Experimental and computational studies revealed that complexes 1 and 2 undergo two consecutive reversible one-electron reductions on the cobalt core, followed by the addition of CO2 to form a metallocarboxylate intermediate [CoII(L)–CO22−]0. This crucial reaction intermediate, which governs the catalytic cycle, was successfully detected using high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). In situ Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) analysis showed that methanol can enhance the rate of carbon–oxygen bond cleavage of the metallocarboxylate intermediate. DFT studies on [CoII(L)–CO22−]0 have suggested that the doubly reduced species attacks CO2 on the C atom through the dz2 orbital, while the interaction with CO2 is further stabilized by the π interaction between the metal dxz or dxz orbital with p orbitals on the O atoms. Reducing soil nitrogen leaching losses and improving nitrogen-use efficiency with effective fertilization management strategies are extremely important for sustainable agricultural development. A 2-year field study was executed with the same nitrogen input in a subtropical rice production system in Southeast China, using chemical fertilizers as a control (CK), to study the influences of different application amounts of Chinese milk vetch (CMV), i.e., 15,000 kg hm−2 (CL), 30,000 kg hm−2 (CM), and 45,000 kg hm−2 (CH), on soil soluble nitrogen stock and leaching risks in a clay paddy field. The results showed that the soil stocks of soluble inorganic nitrogen (SIN) and soluble organic nitrogen (SON) in a 0–60 cm soil profile under different application amounts of CMV significantly increased by 12.43–36.03% and 19.43–71.75% compared with CK, respectively, which was more favorable to soil SON accumulation. In the 2-year experiment, the total dissolved nitrogen leaching loss was 23.51–61.88 kg hm−2 under different application rates of CMV, of which 50.08–62.69% was leached by dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN), and 37.31–49.92% was leached by dissolved organic nitrogen (DON). CMV application improved soil properties (pH, SOM, and urease/protease), increased SIN and SON stocks, and decreased surface water DIN and DON concentrations, thereby reducing DIN and DON leaching. The leachings of DIN and DON in different application rates of CMV were reduced by 11.37–66.23% and 13.39–52.07% compared with the CK treatment, respectively. Conclusively, nitrogen leaching loss in paddy fields was severe, and the DIN and DON leaching loss in CMV treatments were lower than those in the control under the same nitrogen input. Thus, replacing nitrogen fertilizer with CMV under the same nitrogen input could reduce the risk of nitrogen nonpoint pollution in clay paddy fields. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The injection and leakage of charge carriers have a significant impact on the optoelectronic performance of GaN-based lasers. In order to improve the limitation of the laser on charge carriers, a slope-shape hole-barrier layer (HBL) and electron-barrier layer (EBL) structure are proposed for near-UV (NUV) GaN-based lasers. We used Crosslight LASTIP for the simulation and theoretical analysis of the energy bands of HBL and EBL. Our simulations suggest that the energy bands of slope-shape HBL and EBL structures are modulated, which could effectively suppress carrier leakage, improve carrier injection efficiency, increase stimulated radiation recombination rate in quantum wells, reduce the threshold current, improve optical field distribution, and, ultimately, improve laser output power. Kaempferol is a natural flavonoid with reported bioactivities found in many fruits, vegetables, and medicinal herbs. However, its effects on exercise performance and muscle metabolism remain inconclusive. The present study investigated kaempferol's effects on improving exercise performance and potential mechanisms in vivo and in vitro. The grip strength, exhaustive running time, and distance of mice were increased in the high-dose kaempferol group (p < 0.01). Also, kaempferol reduced fatigue-related biochemical markers and increased the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) related to antioxidant capacity. Kaempferol also increased the glycogen and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) content in the liver and skeletal muscle, as well as glucose in the blood. In vitro, kaempferol promoted glucose uptake, protein synthesis, and mitochondrial function and decreased oxidative stress in both 2D and 3D C2C12 myotube cultures. Moreover, kaempferol activated the PI3K/AKT and MAPK signaling pathways in the C2C12 cells. It also upregulated the key targets of glucose uptake, mitochondrial function, and protein synthesis. These findings suggest that kaempferol improves exercise performance and alleviates physical fatigue by increasing glucose uptake, mitochondrial biogenesis, and protein synthesis and by decreasing ROS. To achieve automatic recognition of lightning images, which cannot easily be handled using the existing methods and still requires significant human resources, we propose a lightning image dataset and a preprocessing method. The lightning image data over five months were collected using a camera based on two optical observation stations, and then a series of batch labeling methods were applied, which greatly reduced the workload of subsequent manual labeling, and a dataset containing more than 30,000 labeled samples was established. Considering that lightning varies rapidly over time, we propose a time sequence composite (TSC) preprocessing method that inputs lightning's time-varying characteristics into a model for better recognition of lightning images. The TSC method was evaluated through an experiment on four backbones, and it was found that this preprocessing method enhances the classification performance by 40%. The final trained model could successfully distinguish between the "lightning" and "non-lightning" samples, and a recall rate of 86.5% and a false detection rate of 0.2% were achieved. In this paper, a novel method was proposed for the synthesis of Cu2S on copper mesh via electrolysis in SRB culture medium. It was found that following electrolysis in SRB medium, squamous-like Cu2S arrays were obtained on the copper mesh, and the Cu2S loading contents varied with the electrolyzing parameters. The resultant Cu2S on copper mesh in SRB (CSCM-SRB) with the highest catalytic MB degradation properties was produced by electrolysis at 3.75 mA/cm2 for 900 s. The optimized MB-degrading conditions were determined to be 1.2 cm2/mL CSCM-SRB with 0.05 M H2O2 at 35 °C when pH = 6, under which the degradation of MB reached over 99% after 120 min of reaction. Disinfecting properties was also proven by antibacterial tests, revealing that an almost 100% antibacterial rate against E. coli was obtained after 8 min. The organic compounds produced by SRB adsorbed on CSCM-SRB strongly promoted the degradation of MB. Furthermore, possible Fenton-like mechanisms of CSCM-SRB were proposed, illustrating that ·O2−, ·OH, and 1O2 acted as the main functional species during Fenton-like reactions, leading to effective MB degradation and high antibacterial properties.
