Plant A/T-rich sequence- and zinc-binding protein (PLATZ) is a type of plant-specific zinc-dependent DNA-binding protein that binds to A/T-rich DNA sequences. This family is essential for plant growth, development, and stress response. In this study, 15 OsPLATZs were identified in the rice genome with complete PLATZ-conserved domains by CD-search, similar to those found in angiosperms. Multi-species phylogenetic analysis showed that PLATZs were conserved in photosynthetic organisms, and an evolutionary branch unique to angiosperms was identified among members of the PLATZ family. Fifteen OsPLATZs were represented by five groups, each with distinct characteristics. An analysis of protein structures and sequence motifs showed that OsPLATZs were similar within groups, but varied between them. The expression profile and qRT-PCR results showed that OsPLATZs had distinct expression patterns in different tissues, with some responding to stress induction. Most of the OsPLATZs localized to the nuclei, and were predicted to bind to DNA sequences by AlphaFold3, suggesting that they likely function as conventional transcription factors. We also identified OsPLATZ1, a caryopsis-specific gene that regulates grain filling and caryopsis development in rice. Controllable hydrogenation of carbonyl groups (C=O) is crucial for converting furfural into high-value furfuryl alcohol. Instead of traditional impregnation method, a novel Cu-based catalyst (Cu/SiO2) is prepared using the ammonia evaporation method (AE) for the efficient hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol under mild conditions. At the reaction conditions of 90 °C and 1 MPa H2, the 5Cu/SiO2-AE sample showed optimal performance with higher turnover frequency (36.0 h−1) and furfuryl alcohol selectivity (>99.9%). After five cycles, the catalyst recycled still showed a high reaction activity and selectivity for furfuryl alcohol. Characterization results such as XRD, H2-TPR, FT-IR, and XPS showed that the excellent catalytic performance of 5Cu/SiO2-AE catalyst was attributed to the formation of layered copper silicate and the high dispersion of Cu species. Furthermore, the formation of layered copper silicate resulted in a higher ratio of Cu+/(Cu0+Cu+) at a reduction temperature of 250 °C, which was also responsible for the optimum activity. Directed Evolution of Microbial Communities (DEMC) offers a promising approach to enhance the functional attributes of microbial consortia in fermented foods by mimicking natural selection processes. This review details the application of DEMC in fermented foods, focusing on optimizing community traits to improve both fermentation efficiency and the sensory quality of the final products. We outline the core techniques used in DEMC, including the strategic construction of initial microbial communities, the systematic introduction of stress factors to induce desirable traits, and the use of artificial selection to cultivate superior communities. Additionally, we explore the integration of genomic tools and dynamic community analysis to understand and guide the evolutionary trajectories of these communities. While DEMC shows substantial potential for refining fermented food products, it faces challenges such as maintaining genetic diversity and functional stability of the communities. Looking ahead, the integration of advanced omics technologies and computational modeling is anticipated to significantly enhance the predictability and control of microbial community evolution in food fermentation processes. By systematically improving the selection and management of microbial traits, DEMC serves as a crucial tool for enhancing the quality and consistency of fermented foods, directly contributing to more robust and efficient food production systems. Scarce feature points are a critical limitation affecting the accuracy and stability of incremental structure from motion (SfM) in small-scale scenes. In this paper, we propose an incremental SfM method for small-scale scenes, combined with an auxiliary calibration plate. This approach increases the number of feature points in sparse regions, and we randomly generate feature points within those areas. At the same time, we obtain a coarse matching set of feature points using pairwise polar geometric constraints. The positional results from the geometric constraints of the calibration plate are then used to filter out high-precision matching points, thereby improving the accuracy of the three-dimensional reconstruction. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves superior reconstruction completeness and accuracy. In three real-world experiments, the average re-projection errors were 0.5245, 0.4151, and 0.4996 pixels, outperforming competing methods. Mesenchymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (MSC-EVs) have emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for spinal cord injury (SCI). These nanosized vesicles possess unique properties such as low immunogenicity and the ability to cross biological barriers, making them ideal carriers for delivering bioactive molecules to injured tissues. MSC-EVs have been demonstrated to exert multiple beneficial effects in SCI, including reducing inflammation, promoting neuroprotection, and enhancing axonal regeneration. Recent studies have delved into the molecular mechanisms underlying MSC-EV-mediated therapeutic effects. Exosomal microRNAs (miRNAs) have been identified as key regulators of various cellular processes involved in SCI pathogenesis and repair. These miRNAs can influence inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis by modulating gene expression. This review summarized the current state of MSC-EV-based therapies for SCI, highlighting the underlying mechanisms and potential clinical applications. We discussed the challenges and limitations of translating these therapies into clinical practice, such as inconsistent EV production, complex cargo composition, and the need for targeted delivery strategies. Future research should focus on optimizing EV production and characterization, identifying key therapeutic miRNAs, and developing innovative delivery systems to maximize the therapeutic potential of MSC-EVs in SCI. The present research focuses on the mechanical properties and stress evolution of gas-bearing soft coal seams during drilling, which are affected by a multitude of complex factors such as high ground stress, gas pressure, and pre-existing fractures. In this study, a combination of PFC2D (Particle Flow Code in 2 Dimensions) numerical simulation and theoretical analysis is employed to investigate the borehole mechanics and fracture evolution characteristics under diverse complex conditions and to determine the factors influencing different forms of borehole failure in soft coal seams. The principal outcomes are as follows: (1) At a horizontal displacement of 0.1 m from the borehole orifice of the soft coal seam, a stress peak value of 13.9 MPa is attained; the peak value of the coal body contact force is 15.8 MPa; the peak value of the displacement is 0.008 m; and the porosity of the coal body around the borehole ranges from 0.14 to 0.35. (2) With an increase in the number of pre-existing fractures, the inclination progressively aligns with that of the pre-existing fractures. Maximum values of contact force (5.13–51.9 MPa), stress (3.19–37.2 MPa), shape dimension, and fracture angle (140–150°) are achieved under the highest lateral pressure coefficient and gas pressure (1.5 MPa). (3) The borehole energy is directly proportional to the number of pre-existing fractures, the lateral pressure coefficient, and gas pressure. The number of pre-existing fractures has the most significant impact on the damage degree, followed by the lateral pressure coefficient and then the gas pressure. (4) Two types of failure are identified: fracture-dominated failure, which is controlled by the geometric distribution of pre-existing fractures, and stress-dominated failure, wherein the failure zone gradually extends both upward and downward with an increasing lateral pressure coefficient. Epilepsy, as a common brain disease, causes great pain and stress to patients around the world. At present, the main treatment methods are drug, surgical, and electrical stimulation therapies. Electrical stimulation has recently emerged as an alternative treatment for reducing symptomatic seizures. This study proposes a novel closed-loop epilepsy detection system and stimulation control chip. A time-domain detection algorithm based on amplitude, slope, line length, and signal energy characteristics is introduced. A new threshold calculation method is proposed; that is, the threshold is updated by means of the mean and standard deviation of four consecutive eigenvalues through parameter combination. Once a seizure is detected, the system begins to control the stimulation of a two-phase pulse current with an amplitude and frequency of 34 μA and 200 Hz, respectively. The system is physically designed on the basis of the UMC 55 nm process and verified by a field programmable gate array verification board. This research is conducted through innovative algorithms to reduce power consumption and the area of the circuit. Brain-derived neurotropic factor (BDNF) is expressed by skeletal muscle as a myokine. Our previous work showed that the active precursor, proBDNF, is the predominant form of BDNF expressed in skeletal muscle, and that following skeletal muscle injury, proBDNF levels are significantly increased. However, the function of the muscle-derived proBDNF in injury-induced inflammation has yet to be fully understood. Using a model of tourniquet-induced ischemia–reperfusion (IR) injury of the hindlimb, this study presents, for the first time, strong and novel evidence that following IR injury, proBDNF is released from skeletal muscle into circulation as an endocrine signaling molecule. Further, this study shows that 1 day post-IR injury, the proBDNF receptor, p75NTR, is upregulated 12-fold in splenic monocytes, which are known to be quickly mobilized to the injury site. We demonstrate that p75NTR plays a role in the activation of splenic monocytes, and that treatment with a p75NTR small-molecule modulator, LM11A-31, significantly reduced monocyte inflammatory responses upon lipopolysaccharide stimulation. Overall, the present study establishes proBDNF as a myokine that plays a significant role in skeletal muscle injury-induced inflammation through its receptor, p75NTR, which may be modulated using LM11A-31 as potential translational therapeutic against injury and inflammation. The electrochemical cutting technique, utilizing electrolyte flushing through micro-hole arrays in the radial direction of a tube electrode, offers the potential for cost-effective and high-surface-integrity machining of large-thickness, straight-surface structures of difficult-to-cut materials. However, fabricating the array of jet micro-holes on the tube electrode sidewall remains a significant challenge, limiting the broader application of this technology. To enhance the efficiency and quality of machining these jet micro-holes on the tube sidewall, a helical electrode electrochemical drilling method assisted by anode vibration has been proposed. The influence of parameters, such as the rotational direction and speed of the helical electrode, as well as the vibration amplitude and frequency of the workpiece, on the machining results was investigated using fluid field simulation and machining experiments. It was found that these auxiliary movements could facilitate the renewal of electrolytes within the machining gap, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of electrochemical drilling. Using the optimized machining parameters, an array of 10 jet micro-holes with a diameter of 200 μm was machined on the metal tube sidewall. In order to study the instability characteristics of interlayer rock strata (IRS) in shallow buried close-distance coal seams under insufficient mining areas, based on the background of interval mining under goaf in Nanliang Coal Mine, this paper studies the instability characteristics of interlayer strata in interval mining under goaf by means of similar simulation, numerical simulation, and field measurement. The results indicated that the first weighting interval of the main roof during mining in the lower coal seam was 49 m, while small and large periodic weightings with intervals of 10–14 m and 15–19 m were identified. During periodic weighting, the support resistance ranged from 6813 to 10,935 kN, with a dynamic load factor of 1.07–1.74, and the peak abutment pressure in front of the working face was 5.85–9.85 MPa. The mining under the interval coal pillar (ICP) was the 'stress increase zone', and the mining under the temporary coal pillars (TCPs) and the interval goaf was the 'stress release zone'. During the working face mining out of the ICP, the support resistance reached 10,934 kN, the dynamic load factor reached 1.74, and the abutment pressure (AP) reached 9.85 MPa, which was 60% higher than the AP mining under the "stress release zone". Analysis suggests that the cutting instability of the IRS was the root cause of the increased AP in the working face of the lower coal seam. A numerical simulation was performed to verify the instability characteristics of the IRS in the interval goaf. The relationship between support strength and roof subsidence during the period of the working face leaving the coal pillar was established. A dynamic pressure prevention method involving pre-splitting and pressure relief of the ICP was proposed and yields superior field application performance. Yellow-to-green electrochromic color switching plays a key role in the intelligent adaptive camouflage under the visible light environment in future military camouflage applications. Here, we designed and synthesized a soluble electrochromic conjugated pDPTD polymer, mainly based on perylo[1,12-bcd]thiophene and the novel ProDOT groups. The pDPTD polymer displayed a yellow-to-green electrochromism with large optical contrast and fast switching times. Based on the pDPTD polymer film, a yellow-to-green electrochromic device was achieved, showing an orange-yellow color at −0.4 V with L*a*b* color coordinates of 88.5, 18.5, and 34.2 and a pale green color at 0.7 V with L*a*b* color coordinates of 85.6, −4.8, and 11.5, together with a large optical contrast of 43.5% and fast switching times of 2.4/3.2 s. This study investigates the process of synthesizing eco-cement clinker using recycled powdered glass (RPG) and oyster shell residue (OSHL) as primary raw materials. Analysis of the mineral composition of RPG revealed that it primarily consists of silica and contains a high level of alkali metal oxides, while OSHL comprises a high-purity trigonal calcite structure, similar in chemical composition to limestone. Comparative analysis of the synthesized ecological cement and its hydration products showed that, after heat treatment at 1200 °C, the alkali metal content in the H12 sample significantly decreased, thereby meeting the standards for cement raw materials. The hydration process of RPG and OSHL ecological cement (ROEC) exhibited greater reactivity, with the presence of alkali ions (such as Na⁺ and K⁺) accelerating the cement hydration reaction and significantly enhancing early strength. Furthermore, as the curing time increased, the hydration products of ROEC became more uniform, ultimately consisting primarily of calcite. These findings indicate that the combination of RPG and OSHL offers a novel approach to cement synthesis, while reducing the content of alkali metal oxides, thereby aligning the cement clinker more closely with modern production standards. In a view of application of porous materials in wearable electronics and self-powered systems, reduced graphene oxide (rGO) foams modified by Mn or/and Bi were produced in this study to be used as electrodes for supercapacitors. The hydrothermal method and the freeze-drying processes were used for the preparation of the materials further morphologically, elementally and structurally analyzed. Based on the electrochemical characterization, Bi-modified rGO foam was found to be more a promising material for capacitive electrodes in comparison to the other prepared materials. The water diversion surge shaft is vital for a hydropower station. However, the complex geological properties of the surrounding rock make it challenging to obtain its mechanical parameters. A method combining particle swarm optimization (PSO) and support vector machine (SVM) algorithms is proposed for estimating these parameters. According to the engineering geological background and support scheme, a three-dimensional model of the water diversion surge shaft is established by FLAC3D. An orthogonal test is designed to verify the accuracy of the numerical model. Then, the surrounding rock mechanical parameter database is established. The PSO-SVM intelligent inversion algorithm is used to invert the optimal values of the mechanical parameters of the surrounding rock. The support for excavating the next layer depends on the mechanical parameters of the current rock layer. An optimized design scheme is then compared and analyzed with the original support scheme by considering deformation and plastic characteristics. The research results demonstrate that the PSO-SVM intelligent inversion algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy and efficiency of the inversion of rock mechanical parameters. Under the influence of excavation, the surrounding rock in the plastic zone mainly fails in shear, with maximum deformation occurring in the middle and lower parts of the excavation area. The maximum deformation of the surrounding rock under support with long anchor cables is 0.6 cm less than that of support without long anchor cables and 4.07 cm less than that of support without an anchor. In the direction of the maximum and minimum principal stress, the maximum depth of the plastic zone under the support with long anchor cables is 1.3 m to 2.6 m less than that of the support without long anchor cables and the support without an anchor. Compared with the support without long anchor cables and support without an anchor, the support with long anchor cables can effectively control the deformation of the surrounding rock and limit the development of the plastic zone. Though AlTiN coating has been intensively studied, there is still a need to develop AlTiN coating to meet the growing demand of industrial machining. One effective way to improve the performance of AlTiN coating is by adding alloying elements. In this study, AlTiN and AlTiMo coatings were deposited using multi-arc ion plating to investigate the influence of molybdenum addition on the structure, mechanical properties, and cutting performance of AlTiN coatings. Spherical droplets formed on the surfaces of both coatings, with the AlTiMoN coating exhibiting more surface defects than the AlTiN coating. The grazing incidence X-ray diffraction results revealed the formation of an (Al,Ti)N phase formed in the AlTiN and AlTiMoN coatings. Molybdenum doping in the AlTiMoN coating slightly reduced the grain size. Both coatings exhibited excellent adhesion to the substrate. The hardness (H), elastic moduli (E), H/E, and H3/E2 ratios of the AlTiMoN coating were higher than those of the AlTiN coating. The improvement in the mechanical properties was attributed to grain refinement and solution strengthening. Molybdenum doping improved the tribological properties and cutting performance of the AlTiN coatings, which was ascribed to the formation of MoO3 as a solid lubricant. Effectively controlling the adsorption and desorption of coal and mine gas is crucial to preventing harm to the environment. Therefore, this paper investigated the adsorption of coal and methane molecules from the perspective of microscopic energy through Gaussian simulation. Gaussian 09W and GaussView 5.0 software were used to construct and optimize the molecular model of four different metamorphic coals, namely lignite, sub-bituminous coal, bituminous coal, and anthracite, and their adsorption structure with methane as well as the energy, bond length, vibration frequency, infrared spectrum, and other data on the optimal structure were obtained. The binding energy of coal molecules and methane from large to small was as follows: sub-bituminous coal (7.3696 KJ/mol), lignite (6.6149 KJ/mol), bituminous coal (5.2170 KJ/mol), and anthracite (4.9510 KJ/mol). The equilibrium distance was negatively correlated with the binding energy, and the molecular structure and position of coal largely determined the binding energy. Additionally, adsorption was more likely to occur between methane molecules and hydroxyl groups. Many new vibration modes were observed during the adsorption of coal and methane molecules. Research progress of carbon dioxide applied for methane exploitation from hydrates is summarized, with a focus on advances in molecular dynamics simulations and their application in understanding the mechanism of carbon dioxide replacement for hydrate exploitation. The potential of carbon dioxide in enhancing energy recovery efficiency and promoting carbon capture and storage is emphasized. An overview is provided of the advancements made in utilizing carbon dioxide for methane hydrate exploitation, highlighting its significance. Subsequently, the theoretical foundations and techniques of molecular dynamics simulations are delved into, encompassing key elements such as statistical ensembles, molecular force fields, and numerical solution methods. Through simulations, various characterization parameters including mean square displacement, radial distribution functions, coordination numbers, angular order parameters, and hydrogen bonds are computed and analyzed, which are crucial for understanding the dynamic changes in hydrate structures and the replacement process. Thorough research and analysis have been conducted on the two possible and widely debated mechanisms involved in the replacement of methane hydrates by carbon dioxide, with a particular emphasis on guest molecular replacement and hydrate reconfiguration. These processes encompass the intricate interactions between carbon dioxide molecules and the cage-like structure of hydrates, as well as the rearrangement and stabilization of hydrate structures. Several key issues surrounding the application of carbon dioxide for methane hydrate exploitation are identified, including the influence of thermodynamic conditions, the selection of auxiliary gases, and other potential factors such as geological conditions and fluid properties. Addressing these issues is crucial for optimizing the extraction process and enhancing economic and environmental benefits. A theoretical foundation and technical reference for the application of carbon dioxide in methane hydrate exploitation are provided, while future research directions and priorities are also outlined. Traumatic direct type carotid cavernous fistula (CCF) is an acquired arteriovenous shunt between the carotid artery and the cavernous sinus post severe craniofacial trauma or iatrogenic injury. We reported a 46-year-old woman who had developed a traumatic direct type CCF after severe head trauma with a skull base fracture and brain contusion hemorrhage. The clinical manifestations of the patient included pulsatile exophthalmos, proptosis, bruits, chemosis, and a decline in consciousness. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed engorgement of the right superior ophthalmic vein (SOV), perifocal cerebral edema in the right frontal–temporal cortex, right basal ganglia, and brain stem. Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) disclosed a direct type high-flow CCF with an aggressive cortical venous reflux drainage pattern, which was attributed to Barrow type A and Thomas classification type 5. After partial treatment by transvenous coil embolization for the CCF, the residual high-flow fistula with aggressive venous drainage had an unusual rapid spontaneous resolution in a brief period. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to meticulously monitor the clinical conditions of patients and perform brain MRI and DSA at short intervals to determine the treatment strategy for residual CCF after partial endovascular treatment. Intramuscular fat (IMF) content plays a crucial role in determining pork quality. Recent studies have highlighted transcriptional mechanisms controlling adipogenesis in porcine IMF. However, the changes in chromatin accessibility during adipogenic differentiation are still not well understood. In this study, we performed the assay for transposase-accessible chromatin with high-throughput sequencing (ATAC-seq) and transcriptome sequencing (RNA-Seq) analyses on porcine intramuscular preadipocytes to explore their adipogenic differentiation into mature adipocytes. We identified a total of 56,374 differentially accessible chromatin peaks and 4226 differentially expressed genes at day 0 and day 4 during adipogenic differentiation. A combined analysis of the ATAC-seq and RNA-seq data revealed that 1750 genes exhibited both differential chromatin accessibility and differential RNA expression during this process, including selenium-binding protein 1 (SELENBP1), PLIN1, ADIPOQ, and FASN. Furthermore, we found that vitamin D receptor (VDR) could bind to the promoter region of the SELENBP1 gene, activate SELENBP1 transcription, and ultimately promote lipid accumulation during adipogenic differentiation. This study provides a detailed overview of chromatin accessibility and gene expression changes during the adipogenic differentiation of porcine intramuscular preadipocytes. This study aims to develop the marine geo-polymer cement that was produced with seawater, recycled particles from paste, recycled particles from glass, and alkaline activators, including NaOH or Na2O·3.3SiO2. The physicochemical properties and strength of MGPC were investigated with a Uniaxial Compression Test, Particle Size Analysis, Energy Dispersive Spectrometer, X-ray Diffraction, and Thermal-field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy. The results indicated that the main hydration products in MGPC were calcium carbonate (CaCO3), silica (SiO2), sodium aluminosilicate hydrate (Na2O·Al2O3·xSiO2·2H2O, N-A-S-H), and aluminum calcium silicate hydrate (CaO·Al2O3·2SiO2·4H2O, C-A-S-H). The calcium carboaluminate (3CaO·Al2O3·CaCO3·32H2O, CO3-AFm) in MGPC was converted into CaCO3 and Friedel's salt (3CaO·Al2O3·CaCl2·10H2O), which prompted the carbon sequestration. The microstructure of MGPC prepared using Na2O·3.3SiO2 was based on RPG as the matrix, with N-A-S-H, C-A-S-H, and fibrous AFt growing on the periphery. This structure reduces the impact of the alkali–silica reaction on the material and improves its compressive strength. Ammonia volatilization, which is one of the main ways that nitrogen gas is released from farmland, restricts promotion of the utilization of nitrogen fertilizer and contains some potential environmental risks. To investigate the general pattern of ammonia volatilization under actual paddy field conditions, we designed an indoor simulated system to measure the amount of ammonia volatilized within a single time period by controlling the pH and concentration of NH4+ (c(NH4+)) in the solution, the gas–liquid interfacial gas velocity, and the ambient temperature. In this paper, the influence of these factors, the synergistic effect on ammonia volatilization, and their quantitative relationship are discussed. We used solutions of ammonium bicarbonate (SAB) and diammonium phosphate (SDP) for the simulation experiments, and the results showed that there is a significant linear relationship between the amount of ammonia volatilization and c(NH4+). The correlation coefficients were between 0.9214 to 0.9897 and 0.8932 to 0.9904 for SAB and SDP, respectively. The quantitative relationship between temperature and pH and the influence factor (CIF) and the initial ammonia volatilization fluxes (IAVFs) was analyzed by the least-squares method, and the degrees of polynomial were one and two, respectively. The regression equations of the SAB and SDP among the amount of ammonia volatilization with the concentration of ammonium nitrogen, the temperature, and the pH were calculated by using MATLAB. Considering the effects of temperature and pH on the CIF and IAVFs under individual conditions, we used a binary cubic model to fit the relationship between temperature and pH to the CIF and IAVFs. The simulation results showed that the correlation coefficients between the CIF and IAVFs for SAB were 0.9980 and 0.9680, respectively, and the correlation coefficients were 0.9946 and 0.9708 for SDP, respectively. The quantitative equation took into account the coefficient of determination and degrees of polynomial, and the ammonia volatilization fluxes can be calculated by using these equations. CO2 injection in shale reservoirs is more suitable than the conventional recovering methods due to its easier injectivity and higher sweep efficiency. In this work, Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulation is employed to investigate the adsorption/desorption behavior of CH4-C4H10 and CH4-C4H10-CO2 mixtures in organic and inorganic nanopores during pressure drawdown and CO2 huff and puff processes. The huff and puff process involves injecting CO2 into the micro- and mesopores, where the system pressure is increased during the huffing process and decreased during the puffing process. The fundamental mechanism of shale gas recovery using the CO2 injection method is thereby revealed from the nanopore-scale perspective. During primary gas production, CH4 is more likely to be produced as the reservoir pressure drops. On the contrary, C4H10 tends to be trapped in these organic nanopores and is hard to extract, especially from micropores and inorganic pores. During the CO2 huffing period, the adsorbed CH4 and C4H10 are recovered efficiently from the inorganic mesopores. On the contrary, the adsorbed C4H10 is slightly extracted from the inorganic micropores during the CO2 puffing period. During the CO2 puff process, the adsorbed CH4 desorbs from the pore surface and is thus heavily recovered, while the adsorbed C4H10 cannot be readily produced. During CO2 huff and puff, the recovery efficiency of CH4 is higher in the organic pores than that in the inorganic pores. More importantly, the recovery efficiency of C4H10 reaches the highest levels in both the inorganic and organic pores during the CO2 huff and puff process, suggesting that the CO2 huff and puff method is more advanced for heavier hydrocarbon recovery compared to the pressure drawdown method. In addition to CO2 storage, CO2 sequestration in the adsorbed state is safer than that in the free state. In our work, it was found that the high content of organic matter, high pressure, and small pores are beneficial factors for CO2 sequestration transforming into adsorbed state storage. Hydraulic slotting is an effective technology that enhances gas extraction operations and prevents gas disasters in coal mines. Slotting parameters and spatial arrangements substantially affect permeability enhancements. The pressure-release range and effective extraction area under different slotting spatial parameters were obtained by constructing a hydraulic slotting pressure-release permeability and three-dimensional (3D) slotting numerical models. These models quantitatively characterized the influence rules of multiple slotting spatial arrangement parameters on the extraction efficiency at a 3D scale, clarified the interactions of multiple slottings and their combined effects on pressure relief and permeability enhancement, and verified the results using field engineering tests. The results showed that hydraulic slotting significantly alters local stress and strain distributions, creating high-strain and high-stress zones with clear spatial attenuation. The process enhances fracture development, reducing gas pressure from 1 MPa to 0.08 MPa, thereby improving extraction efficiency. Enlarging the slot dimensions from 1.5 to 2.5 m increases the gas pressure-relief efficiency by up to 41% and nearly triples the impact radius. Wider slot spacing (1.5 m to 3.5 m) and additional slots (from one to three) further reduce the borehole gas pressure by 23% to 25%, optimizing hydraulic slotting technology for practical applications. This study aimed to develop marine alkali paste (MAP) produced using seawater (SW), recyclable particle material from paste specimens (RPPs), and alkali agents including NaOH (NH) and Na2O·3SiO2 (NS). The physicochemical properties and strength of the MAP were investigated with uniaxial compression tests (UCTs), an Energy-Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and thermal-field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The key information on the MAP preparation and experiments, including mix ratios, ages, curing, and sub-specimen locations, were recorded during the investigation. The results indicated that 8-day-old MAP prepared with NS reached a maximum compressive strength of 8.3 MPa, while 8-day-old NH-prepared specimens achieved up to 5.59 MPa. By 49 days, NS-prepared MAP had strengths between 5.46 MPa and 7.34 MPa, while the strength of NH-prepared MAP ranged from 3.59 MPa to 5.83 MPa. The key hydration products were Friedel's salt (3CaO·Al2O3·CaCl2·10H2O, FS), xCaO·SiO2·nH2O (C-S-H), CaO·Al2O3·2SiO2·4H2O (C-A-S-H), and Na2O·Al2O3·zSiO2·2H2O (N-A-S-H). C-S-H was generated under the critical curing and working conditions in SW. C-A-S-H development contributed to C-S-H network compaction. N-A-S-H development helped in resistance to SO42− erosion, thereby cutting down ettringite (Ca6Al2(SO4)3(OH)12·26H2O) development. The active ion exchange between MAP and SW mainly involving SO42− and Cl− led to the significant formation of FS at the interface of C-A-S-H and xCaO·Al2O3·nH2O (C-A-H). Therefore, FS generation inhibited SO42− and Cl− corrosion in the MAP and rebounded the interface cracks of the hydration products. Compared with high spectrum efficiency faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) backbone network, an enhanced carrier phase recovery based on dual pilot tones is more sensitive to capital cost in FTN metropolitan areas as well as inter-datacenter optical networks. The use of distributed feedback (DFB) lasers is a way to effectively reduce the cost. However, under high symbol rate FTN systems, equalization-enhanced phase noise (EEPN) induced by a DFB laser with large linewidth will significantly deteriorate the system performance. What is worse, in FTN systems, tight filtering introduces inter-symbol interference so severe that the carrier phase estimation (CPE) algorithm of the FTN systems is more sensitive to EEPN, thus it will lead to a more serious cycle slip problem. In this paper, an enhanced carrier phase recovery based on dual pilot tones is proposed to mitigate EEPN and suppress cycle slip, in which the chromatic dispersion (CD)-aware Tx and LO laser phase noise is estimated, respectively. Offline experiments results under 40 Gbaud polarization multiplexing (PM) 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) FTN wavelength division multiplexing (FTN-WDM) systems at 0.9 acceleration factor, 5 MHz laser linewidth, and 500 km transmission demonstrate that the proposed algorithm could bring about 0.65 dB improvement of the required SNR for the normalized generalized mutual information of 0.9 compared with the training sequence-based cycle slip suppression carrier phase estimation (TS-CSS) algorithm. Achieving precise synchronization is critical for multi-camera systems in various applications. Traditional methods rely on hardware-triggered synchronization, necessitating significant manual effort to connect and adjust synchronization cables, especially with multiple cameras involved. This not only increases labor costs but also restricts scene layout and incurs high setup expenses. To address these challenges, we propose a novel subframe synchronization technique for multi-camera systems that operates without the need for additional hardware triggers. Our approach leverages a time-calibrated video featuring specific markers and a uniformly moving ball to accurately extract the temporal relationship between local and global time systems across cameras. This allows for the calculation of new timestamps and precise frame-level alignment. By employing interpolation algorithms, we further refine synchronization to the subframe level. An exoskeleton is a wearable device with human–machine interaction characteristics. An ideal exoskeleton should have kinematic and kinetic characteristics similar to those of the wearer. Most traditional exoskeletons are driven by rigid actuators based on joint torque or position control algorithms. In order to achieve better human–robot interaction, flexible actuators have been introduced into exoskeletons. However, exoskeletons with fixed stiffness cannot adapt to changing stiffness requirements during assistance. In order to achieve collaborative control of stiffness and torque, a bionic variable stiffness hip joint exoskeleton (BVS-HJE) is designed in this article. The exoskeleton proposed in this article is inspired by the muscles that come in agonist–antagonist pairs, whose actuators are arranged in an antagonistic form on both sides of the hip joint. Compared with other exoskeletons, it has antagonistic actuators with variable stiffness mechanisms, which allow the stiffness control of the exoskeleton joint independent of force (or position) control. A BVS-HJE model was established to study its variable stiffness and static characteristics. Based on the characteristics of the BVS-HJE, a control strategy is proposed that can achieve independent adjustment of joint torque and joint stiffness. In addition, the variable stiffness mechanism can estimate the output force based on the established mathematical model through an encoder, thus eliminating the additional force sensors in the control process. Shallow coal seam mining results in the formation of various bearing structures in key strata, leading to varying degrees of surface subsidence and severe disruption to the surface ecological environment. To investigate the coupled evolution characteristics of key strata fracture-bearing structures and surface subsidence in shallow coal seam mining, with a focus on the 1–2 coal seam mining at Longhua Coal Mine in northern Shaanxi as the research background, this study employed physical similarity simulation to establish the correlation between key strata fracture-bearing structures and surface subsidence. The study also utilized theoretical calculations to develop models for the trapezoidal hinged arch structure and the coupling between key strata-bearing structures and surface subsidence. Mechanical properties of bearing structures and the coupled evolution characteristics of surface subsidence were examined, and the scientific validity of the models was verified through field monitoring. The research reveals that the inclined section of the working face in shallow coal seam mining forms a trapezoidal hinged arch structure, where stress transmission actually resembles an arch shape. Based on the fracture characteristics of rock strata, this structure can be categorized into three types: a full-trapezoidal hinged arch structure, a semi-trapezoidal hinged arch structure, and a trapezoidal-like hinged arch structure. A mechanical calculation model for the trapezoidal hinged arch structure was constructed, and the mechanical calculation formula for this structure was derived based on mechanical equilibrium conditions. Using a masonry beam mechanical model, the formula for calculating the subsidence of key blocks in the key strata fracture was obtained. Based on the "masonry beam" mechanical model, a formula was derived to calculate the subsidence of key blocks in fractured key strata. The relationship between key strata-bearing structures and surface subsidence curves was analyzed, leading to the development of a calculation model for both. This model reveals the coupled evolution between rock movement and surface subsidence. Field measurements indicate a maximum surface subsidence of 1.93 m, with a subsidence coefficient of 0.65, showing that the surface helps suppress and reduce the overall subsidence. The use of recycled asphalt mixtures in regions with seasonal freeze-thaw cycles is becoming more popular. However, strict requirements for low-temperature cracking resistance limit their widespread application. This study designed thirteen types of recycled asphalt mixtures to explore factors affecting low-temperature performance in seasonal freeze-thaw regions and potential optimization methods. The three-point bending test assessed the low-temperature cracking performance of mixtures with varying recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) content, asphalt-aggregate ratios, asphalt types, and gradations under both conventional and freeze-thaw conditions. Results show that destructive strain and fracture energy decrease with higher RAP content, but increase with higher asphalt-aggregate ratios and 4.75 mm sieve passing rates. Adding rubber powder significantly enhances both destructive strain and fracture energy. Furthermore, the destructive strain remains insensitive to factors under both and freeze-thaw conditions, while fracture energy effectively distinguishes differences in low-temperature crack resistance. Analysis of variance reveals that RAP content, asphalt-aggregate ratio, asphalt type, and gradation significantly affect fracture energy after freeze-thaw cycles. The technology of military equipment entity extraction, a crucial component in constructing military knowledge bases, holds significant research value and theoretical importance for guiding the development and improvement of equipment support forces. In the military domain, equipment entities exhibit a phenomenon of nesting, where one entity is contained within another, and abbreviations or codes are frequently used to represent these entities. To address this complexity, this paper proposes a method named CoTNER for extracting entities. Initially, a large-scale language model is used to perform data augmentation with chain-of-thought on the original dataset, providing additional semantic and contextual information. Subsequently, the augmented dataset is fine-tuned on a small-scale language model to adapt it to the task of military equipment entity extraction and to enhance its ability to learn complex rules specific to the domain of military equipment. Additionally, a high-quality data filtering strategy based on instruction-following difficulty scoring is proposed to address the catastrophic forgetting issue that may occur during the fine-tuning of large language models. In coal seam groups where the spacing between the upper and lower seams is small, the lower seam working face is significantly influenced by residual coal pillars from the upper seam and the void spaces created during mining. This presents considerable challenges for underground mining safety. Through field investigations, the layout of the coal seam quarry above the working face of the 3−1 coal seam in Yanghuopan Mine was examined, along with the distribution of the residual coal pillars. This allowed for the identification of the interlayer rock strata characteristics. Subsequently, we analyzed the mechanism of directional hydraulic fracturing and decompression to determine the key parameters of the 3−1 coal seam. Using the Rock Fracture Process Analysis 3D (RFPA 3D) numerical simulation, we evaluated the effects of various factors on the initiation and propagation of hydraulic fracturing-induced cracks, formulated the evolution law of these fractures, and incorporated the damage variables into the analysis. Additionally, we assessed the influence of different parameters on crack initiation and extension during hydraulic fracturing, using RFPA 3D simulations to derive the evolution law governing directional hydraulic fractures. This allowed us to define the hydraulic fracturing parameters for the 3−1 interbedded rock layers by integrating the process parameter calculations with the damage variables. Based on these findings, an on-site implementation plan was developed and executed, followed by a comprehensive evaluation of the construction results. The study concludes that directional hydraulic fracturing and decompression effectively contribute to the prevention and control of roof-related disasters in the mining of lower coal seams where seam spacing is minimal. Vegetation water use efficiency (WUE) is a crucial indicator for elucidating the interconnections between the carbon and water cycles of ecosystems and for discerning the response of vegetation ecosystems to climate change. Gansu Province in northwestern China is facing significant ecological water-related challenges. However, the response of vegetation WUE to climate environmental factors in this region remains unclear. In this study, the MODIS vegetation gross primary productivity (GPP) and evapotranspiration (ET) datasets were used to calculate the vegetation WUE in Gansu Province and, combined with meteorological data, Theil–Sen median trend analysis and partial correlation analysis were used to determine the spatial and temporal characteristics of vegetation WUE in this region and its response to climate environmental factors. Finally, the random forest model was used to rank the importance of climate environmental factors. The results indicate the following: (1) The average values of vegetation WUE, GPP, and ET in Gansu Province from 2000 to 2020 were 1.46 gC·mm−1·m−2, 510.22 gC·m−2, and 343.68 mm, respectively, and their spatial distribution was high in the southeast and low in the northwest, which was closely related to the distribution of vegetation in the region. (2) Over the past 20 years, the vegetation WUE in this region showed a slowly decreasing trend in general, with a decrease rate of 16.57%. There were significant differences in the WUE of different vegetation types, among which forest WUE was the highest and grassland WUE the lowest. (3) The trend prediction of WUE in Gansu Province was performed by using the rescaled extreme difference method, and the Hurst index was 0.45, which means that the vegetation WUE in this region is expected to increase in the future. (4) In general, precipitation was the main factor influencing the change in vegetation WUE in Gansu Province, followed by vapor pressure deficit (VPD), temperature, and soil moisture. With the continuous advancement of cloud computing and satellite communication technology, the cloud-network-integrated satellite network has emerged as a novel network architecture. This architecture harnesses the benefits of cloud computing and satellite communication to achieve global coverage, high reliability, and flexible information services. However, as business types and user demands grow, addressing differentiated Quality of Service (QoS) requirements has become a crucial challenge for cloud-network-integrated satellite networks. Effective resource allocation algorithms are essential to meet these differentiated QoS requirements. Currently, research on resource allocation algorithms for differentiated QoS requirements in cloud-network-integrated satellite networks is still in its early stages. While some research results have been achieved, there persist issues such as high algorithm complexity, limited practicality, and a lack of effective evaluation and adjustment mechanisms. The first part of this study examines the state of research on network virtual mapping methods that are currently in use. A reinforcement-learning-based virtual network mapping approach that considers quality of service is then suggested. This algorithm aims to improve user QoS and request acceptance ratio by introducing QoS satisfaction parameters. With the same computational complexity, QoS is significantly improved. Additionally, there has been a noticeable improvement in the request acceptance ratio and resource utilization efficiency. The proposed algorithm solves existing challenges and takes a step towards more practical and efficient resource allocation in cloud-network-integrated satellite networks. Experiments have proven the practicality of the proposed virtual network embedding algorithm of Satellite Network (SN-VNE) based on Reinforcement Learning (RL) in meeting QoS and improving utilization of limited heterogeneous resources. We contrast the performance of the SN-VNE algorithm with DDRL-VNE, CDRL, and DSCD-VNE. In order to solve the problems of a high mismatching rate and being easily affected by noise and gray transformation, an improved product defect detection method combining centroid distance and textural information is proposed in this paper. Based on image preprocessing, the improved fuzzy C-means clustering method is used to extract the closed contour features. Then, the contour center distance description operator is used for bidirectional matching, and a robust coarse matching contour pair is obtained. After the coarse matching contour pair is screened, the refined matching result is obtained by using the improved local binary pattern operator. Finally, by comparing whether the number of fine matching pairs is consistent with the number of template outlines, the detection of good and bad industrial products is realized, and the closed contour extraction experiment, the anti-rotation matching experiment, the anti-gray difference matching experiment, and the defect detection experiment of three different products are designed. The experimental results show that the improved product defect detection method has good performance in relation to anti-rotation transformation and anti-gray difference, the detection accuracy can reach more than 90%, and the detection time is up to 362.6 ms, which can meet the requirements of industrial real-time detection. Microwave photonic (MWP) systems are inseparable from conversions of microwave electrical signals into optical signals, and their performances highly depend on the linearity of electro-optic modulators. Thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) is expected to be an ideal platform for future microwave photonic systems due to its compact size, low optical loss, linear electro-optic effect, and high bandwidth. In this paper, we propose a TFLN modulator with a low voltage–length product (VπL) of 1.97 V·cm and an ultra-high-linearity carrier-to-distortion ratio (CDR) of 112.33 dB, using a dual-parallel Mach–Zehnder interferometer configuration. It provides an effective approach to fully suppress the third-order intermodulation distortions (IMD3), leading to 76 dB improvement over a single Mach–Zehnder modulator (MZM) in TFLN. The proposed TFLN modulator would enable a wide variety of applications in integrated MWP systems with large-scale integration, low power consumption, low optical loss, and high bandwidth. With the rapid development of modern society, the consumption of fossil fuels during the industrial production process produces a significant amount of carcinogens. Converting the highly toxic biphenyl (BP) to the valuable product cyclohexylbenzene (CHB) can decrease the emission of carcinogenic aromatic hydrocarbons. In this study, we prepared a series of 20%Ni/SiO2 catalysts with different specific surface areas (SSAs) using the over-volume impregnation method, as well as 20%M/SiO2 (M = Fe, Cu, Co, and Ni) catalysts to highlight the effects of support SSAs and active metal on the performance of BP selective hydrogenation to CHB. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 physisorption, TEM, and H2-TPR, which demonstrated that a high SSA would be helpful for the dispersion of the active metal. The evaluation results revealed that 20%Ni/SiO2-300 exhibited excellent activity and stability in the selective hydrogenation of BP to CHB (BP conversion: 99.6%, CHB yield: 99.3% at the conditions of 200 °C, 3 MPa, 4 h and isopropanol as the solvent) among the catalysts with different SSAs, which was also superior to the performance over the catalysts with other transition metals as the active sites. The optical properties of wurtzite violet InGaN/GaN coupled quantum well (QW) structures are experimentally studied using photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) spectroscopy. Two emission peaks, referred to as Peak H and Peak L, are observed in both PL and EL spectra, due to the ground state splitting induced by the well coupling. Experimental PL and EL results reveal that coupled QWs show different optical responses due to the different variation in the electric field inside the QW structure. Since the direction of the polarization electric field of the as-grown well/barrier layers is different, the external electric field applied by electrodes can change the energy band alignment between the well and the barrier layers, thus adjusting the coupling between the wells. The pin-fin is one of the main technologies in enhancing heat transfer. The accelerated flow and vortex structures are produced, which can disrupt the development of the flow boundary layer. The configuration of the pin-fin is obvious for heat transfer and flow characteristics, including its shape, size, and arrangement in the cooling channel. This work provides a detailed introduction to the application of pin-fins in enhancing heat transfer and reducing flow resistance, including the conventional shapes, improved shapes based on circular pin-fins and irregular shapes. At the same time, the influence of the diameter, height and density of pin-fins on heat transfer and flow performance is studied, and the influence mechanism is analyzed from the perspective of boundary layers. In addition, some applications that combine pin-fins with other cooling methods to further improve performance are analyzed. In terms of the optimization technology, the structure optimization for pin-fin shape and the layout optimization for pin-fin array are summarized. The exploration of unleaded free-cutting Cu40Zn brass with excellent mechanical and tribological properties has always drawn the attention of researchers. Due to its attractive properties combining metals and ceramics, Ti3AlC2 was added to Cu40Zn brass using high-energy milling and hot-pressing sintering. The effects of Ti3AlC2 on the microstructure, mechanical and tribological properties of Cu40Zn-Ti3AlC2 composites were studied. The results showed that Ti3AlC2 could suppress the formation of ZnO by adsorbing oxygen impurity and promote the formation of the β phase by releasing the β-forming element Al to the substrate. The hardness and wear resistance of Cu40Zn-Ti3AlC2 composites increased with increasing Ti3AlC2 content from 0 to 5 wt.%. In electrocardiograms (ECGs), multiple forms of encryption and preservation formats create difficulties for data sharing and retrospective disease analysis. Additionally, photography and storage using mobile devices are convenient, but the images acquired contain different noise interferences. To address this problem, a suite of novel methodologies was proposed for converting paper-recorded ECGs into digital data. Firstly, this study ingeniously removed gridlines by utilizing the Hue Saturation Value (HSV) spatial properties of ECGs. Moreover, this study introduced an innovative adaptive local thresholding method with high robustness for foreground–background separation. Subsequently, an algorithm for the automatic recognition of calibration square waves was proposed to ensure consistency in amplitude, rather than solely in shape, for digital signals. The original signal reconstruction algorithm was validated with the MIT–BIH and PTB databases by comparing the difference between the reconstructed and the original signals. Exploring the impact of urbanization on carbon emissions is crucial for formulating effective emission reduction policies. Using nighttime light data and attribute data from 68 Chinese cities (2002–2021), this paper develops an urban development evaluation system with the entropy method. The Lasso method is employed to select key factors affecting carbon emissions, and hierarchical regression models are utilized to analyze these factors across different city types. The results show the following: (1) The extraction of built-up areas using integrated nighttime light data yields an overall accuracy ranging from 70.90% to 98.87%, reflecting high precision. (2) Expanding cities have predominated over the past two decades, indicating a continued upward trend in urbanization in China. (3) Urban development is influenced by internal characteristics and geographic location: contracting cities are mainly inland heavy industrial centers, while expanding cities are located in economically advanced coastal regions. Additionally, it is also impacted by the growth of surrounding cities, exemplified by the imbalance between central cities and their peripheries within metropolitan areas. (4) The expansion of built-up areas is a significant factor affecting carbon emissions across all city types. For expanding cities, managing population growth and promoting tertiary sector development are recommended, while contracting cities should focus on judicious economic planning and virescence area protection. Propagation of cuttings is the primary method of rose multiplication. Aux/IAA, early response genes to auxin, play an important role in regulating the process of adventitious root formation in plants. However, systematic research on the identification of RhAux/IAA genes and their role in adventitious root formation in roses is lacking. In this study, 34 RhAux/IAA genes were identified by screening the rose genome, distributed on seven chromosomes, and classified into three clades based on the evolutionary tree. An analysis of the cis-acting elements in the promoters of RhAux/IAA genes revealed the presence of numerous elements related to plant hormones, the light signal response, the growth and development of plants, and abiotic stress. RNA-seq analysis identified a key RhIAA25 gene that may play an important role in the generation of adventitious roots in roses. Subcellular localization, yeast self-activation, and tissue-specific expression experiments indicated that RhIAA25 encoded a nuclear protein, had no yeast self-activated activity, and was highly expressed in the stem. The overexpression of RhIAA25 promoted the elongation of the primary root in Arabidopsis but inhibited adventitious root formation. This study systematically identified and analyzed the RhAux/IAA gene family and identified a key gene, RhIAA25, that regulates adventitious root generation in roses. Coal tar pitch (CTP) has become an ideal choice in the preparation of anode precursors for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) because of its abundant carbon content, competitive pricing and adjustable structure properties. In this paper, sulfurized pitch-based carbon (SPC-800) was obtained by allowing CTP to react with sulfur at 350 °C and subsequently achieve carbonization at 800 °C. SPC-800 was more disordered and had a larger layer spacing than carbonized CTP (PC-800). Upon utilization as an anode for LIBs, SPC-800 possessed a higher reversible specific capacity (478.1 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1), while utilization in SIBs displayed a capacity of 220.9 mAh g−1 at 20 mA g−1. The transportation of coal-based solid waste filling slurry (CSWFS) through pipelines for underground goaf injection is essential for enhancing mine safety and promoting green, low-carbon coal mining. To address the issue of pipeline blockage caused by the suspension sensitivity of CSWFS during long-distance transportation, this study proposes the addition of the suspending agent hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) to transform the filling slurry into a stable suspending slurry. The mechanism by which the suspending agent modifies the rheological property of CSWFS was elucidated and verified. Firstly, an evaluation index system for the suspending state of CSWFS based on the "experimental test and theoretical calculation" was established. The values for layering degree, bleeding rate time-loss, and the corresponding average time-loss rate over 0 to 120 min of A1–A5 CSWFS were recorded as 24 mm–2 mm, 3.0–0.2%, 252.4–54.2%, and 149.6–14.6%, respectively. The concentration gradient evaluation result, C/CA = 0.91 (≥0.8), confirmed that the suspending agent maintained a stable suspending state over time for CSWFS. Secondly, it was demonstrated that the suspending agent HPMC modified the rheological property of A1–A5 CSWFS by increasing its plastic viscosity, which strengthened the viscous resistance to particle settling, thereby transforming a semi-stable slurry into a stable one. Additionally, the formation of a spatial suspending network by the suspending agent ensures that no pipeline blockage accidents occured in practical engineering applications. Furthermore, the XRD and SEM tests were utilized to verify the microstructure of the top (T) and bottom (B) samples in A4 block. It was concluded that the type of hydration products, occurrence forms, lapping compactness, and microstructural development were consistent, ultimately forming a high-strength, dense, hardened filling block. Finally, numerical simulation confirmed that the addition of suspending agent in A4 slurry formed a comprehensive spatial suspending network and a well-structured, unified system. The concrete used in the main structures of subway stations has a high degree of constraint. Consequently, temperature changes and shrinkage during construction frequently lead to significant constraint stress, which can result in structural cracking. Therefore, cement with low hydration heat is commonly used in engineering to reduce the temperature of concrete during its age. Aiming at the problem of hydration and heat release caused by concrete construction, based on the principles of concrete hydration heat release and a numerical analysis method, an optimized semi-adiabatic temperature rise test method has been introduced to investigate concrete temperature rise characteristics with different mineral admixtures. The following conclusions were obtained: The effect of reducing the heat of hydration is related to the content and material properties of different mineral admixtures, but not the type of mineral admixture to be incorporated. The temperature rise performance of four common mineral admixtures is as follows: ① total cooling capacity: limestone powder > slag, fly ash > metakaolin; ② early heat generation rate: metakaolin > slag > fly ash > limestone powder; ③ heat reduction rate in the middle and late periods: metakaolin > limestone powder > fly ash > slag. Background: Activating the cytosolic innate immune sensor, the cGAS-STING pathway, holds great promise for enhancing antitumor immunity, particularly in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). However, the clinical application of STING agonists is often hindered by poor tumor accumulation, limited cellular uptake, and rapid clearance. To address these challenges, we developed a human serum albumin (HSA)-based nanoreactor system for the efficient delivery of the STING agonist SR-717, aiming to improve its antitumor efficacy. Methods: Using a biomineralization technique, we encapsulated SR-717 within HSA nanocages to form SH-NPs. These nanoparticles were characterized in terms of size, stability, and cellular uptake, and their ability to activate the STING pathway was assessed in both in vitro and in vivo models, including freshly isolated human renal tumor tissues. In vivo antitumor efficacy was evaluated in a murine renal tumor model, and immune responses were measured. Results: SH-NPs exhibited enhanced stability, efficient cellular uptake, and superior tumor accumulation compared to free SR-717. They robustly activated the STING pathway, as evidenced by increased phosphorylation of TBK1 and IRF3, along with elevated IFN-β production. Additionally, SH-NPs reshaped the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, promoting T-cell-mediated immunity and improving the therapeutic efficacy of checkpoint blockade in murine models. The validation in human renal tumor tissues further highlighted their potential for clinical translation. Importantly, SH-NPs were well tolerated with minimal systemic toxicity. Conclusions: This study underscores the potential of HSA-based nanoparticles for the targeted delivery of STING agonists, effectively enhancing antitumor immunity and improving cancer immunotherapy outcomes. With the startup of the aero-engine, the ground vortex is formed between the ground and the engine intake. The ground vortex leads to total pressure and swirl distortion, which reduces the performance of the engine. The inhalation of the dust and debris through a ground vortex can erode the fan blade, block the seals and degrade turbine cooling performance. As the diameter of the modern fan blade becomes larger, the clearance between the intake lip and the ground surface is smaller, which enhances the strength of the ground vortex. Though considerable numerical studies have been conducted with the predictions of the ground vortex, it is noted that the accurate simulation of the ground vortex is still a tough task. This paper presents authors' simulation work of the ground vortex into an intake model with different crosswind speeds. This paper tackles the challenge with a parametric study to provide useful guidelines on how to obtain a good match with the experimental data. The influence of the mesh density, performance of different turbulence models and how the boundary layer thickness affects the prediction results are conducted and analysed. The detailed structure of the flow field with ground vortex is presented, which can shed light on the experimental observations. Water inrush from separation layers is a special type of water inrush disaster that occurs during coal mining. It is characterized by the absence of precursors before the inrush, a sudden and massive influx of water, strong destructive power, and significant difficulty in prevention and control. This disaster causes substantial economic losses and casualties in mines. To study the dynamic evolution characteristics of the overlying rock strata in Guojiahe coal mine, field investigations, theoretical analysis, physical simulations, and numerical simulations were conducted. The development state of the overlying rock strata and the height of the water-conducting fractures in the 1304 working face during continuous mining were analyzed, and the spatial position of the strata where water hazards could form was determined. Through theoretical calculations, the height of the water-conducting fracture zone was found to be approximately 205 m, forming a water-storable separation space about 248 m above the coal seam roof. A physical similarity model was constructed to study the development state of overlying rock strata separation in the 1304 working face. Experimental results indicate that, as the working face advances, the rock strata gradually develop lateral separation spaces from bottom to top, and vertical fractures increase progressively in a similar manner. The spaces and fractures formed in the early stages of the working face advance gradually close and form a compaction zone. However, new fractures develop near the working face side. As mining continues, the asynchronous movement of the overlying rock promotes the development of vertical fractures, providing water-conducting channels for water inrush from the separation. Based on numerical simulation analysis of the development state of overlying rock strata separation and the height of the water-conducting fracture zone, it can be concluded that the water-storable separation space develops between the 8th layer of the formation of sandy mudstone and the 9th layer of the Yijun Formation conglomerate, which is 248 m from the coal seam roof. When excavated to 280 m, the separation space reaches its maximum, with a width of about 19 m and a height of about 1.2 m, and the water storage capacity increases to its maximum. The coordinated development of the water–food–ecology (WFE) nexus is a practical issue that has to be addressed urgently for northwest China's (WTL) sustainable development. Optimizing the linkage relationship and accomplishing the rational distribution of resources from the perspective of the supply and demand for ecosystem services (ESSD) are imperative. Thus, in this study, a numerical indicator system for ESSD from the perspective of the WFE nexus was constructed with the incorporation of the water and carbon footprint. Based on this premise, the ecological management zoning method was enhanced by integrating supply and demand risks, and optimization suggestions were proposed for various zones. The results showed that (1) carbon sequestration (CS), food production (FP), and water yield (WY) supply and demand significantly increased between 2000 and 2021. High ESSDs were concentrated in the west side of northwest China. Maize, wheat, cotton, vegetables, and garden fruits had a higher demand for ecosystem services (ESs). (2) The three ESSDs were bound in a synergistic relationship. The synergy between supply exhibited significant spatial heterogeneity, while the synergies between demand showed similar distribution patterns. (3) Regarding quantity matching, the supply for FP and CS surpassed demand, while the WY supply could not meet the demand. The three ESs' supply and demand deficits rose. Ecological supply–demand ratio (ESDR) regional differentiation for the three ESs was apparent. Regarding spatial matching, FP and CS concentrated on low supply–low demand, while WY focused on high supply–high demand. FP risk was concentrated in Qaidam Basin, whereas WY risk was mostly in Hexi inland river basin (HX), the Yellow River Basin area (HH), and both sides of the "Qice line". (4) The ecological management zones were formed by integrating WTL's three dominant weak functional zones, four categorized strategy regions, and four governance models. Combination therapy aims to synergistically enhance efficacy or reduce toxic side effects and has widely been used in clinical practice. However, with the rapid increase in the types of drug combinations, identifying the synergistic relationships between drugs remains a highly challenging task. This paper proposes a novel deep learning model MMFSyn based on multimodal drug data combined with cell line features. Firstly, to ensure the full expression of drug molecular features, multiple modalities of drugs, including Morgan fingerprints, atom sequences, molecular diagrams, and atomic point cloud data, are extracted using SMILES. Secondly, for different modal data, a Bi-LSTM, gMLP, multi-head attention mechanism, and multi-scale GCNs are comprehensively applied to extract the drug feature. Then, it selects appropriate omics features from gene expression and mutation omics data of cancer cell lines to construct cancer cell line features. Finally, these features are combined to predict the synergistic anti-cancer drug combination effect. The experimental results verify that MMFSyn has significant advantages in performance compared to other popular methods, with a root mean square error of 13.33 and a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.81, which indicates that MMFSyn can better capture the complex relationship between multimodal drug combinations and omics data, thereby improving the synergistic drug combination prediction.
