Magnetoelectric (ME) sensors cannot effectively detect broadband magnetic field signals due to their narrow bandwidth, and existing readout circuits are unable to vary the bandwidth of the sensors. To expand the bandwidth, this paper introduces a negative-feedback readout circuit, fabricated by introducing a negative-feedback compensation circuit based on the direct readout circuit of the ME sensor. The negative-feedback compensation circuit contains a current amplifier, a feedback resistor, and a feedback coil. For this purpose, a Metglas/PVDF/Metglas ME sensor was prepared. Experimental measurements show that there is a six-fold difference between the maximum and minimum values of the ME voltage coefficients in the 6–39 kHz frequency band for the ME sensor without the negative-feedback compensation circuit when the sensor operates at the optimal bias magnetic field. However, the ME voltage coefficient in this band remains stable, at 900 V/T, after the charge amplification of the direct-reading circuit and the negative-feedback circuit. In addition, experimental results show that this negative-feedback readout circuit does not increase the equivalent magnetic noise of the sensor, with a noise level of 240 pT/√Hz in the frequency band lower than 25 kHz, 63 pT/√Hz around the resonance frequency of 30 kHz, and 620 pT/√Hz at 39 kHz. Podocyte injury can disrupt the glomerular filtration barrier (GFB), leading to podocytopathies that emphasize podocytes as the glomerulus's key organizer. The coordinated cytoskeleton is essential for supporting the elegant structure and complete functions of podocytes. Therefore, cytoskeleton rearrangement is closely related to the pathogenesis of podocytopathies. In podocytopathies, the rearrangement of the cytoskeleton refers to significant alterations in a string of slit diaphragm (SD) and focal adhesion proteins such as the signaling node nephrin, calcium influx via transient receptor potential channel 6 (TRPC6), and regulation of the Rho family, eventually leading to the disorganization of the original cytoskeletal architecture. Thus, it is imperative to focus on these proteins and signaling pathways to probe the cytoskeleton rearrangement in podocytopathies. In this review, we describe podocytopathies and the podocyte cytoskeleton, then discuss the molecular mechanisms involved in cytoskeleton rearrangement in podocytopathies and summarize the effects of currently existing drugs on regulating the podocyte cytoskeleton. The environmentally benign Fe2(MoO4)3 plays a crucial role in the transformation of organic contaminants, either through catalytically decomposing oxidants or through directly oxidizing the target pollutants. Because of their dual roles and the complex surface chemical reactions, the mechanism involved in Fe2(MoO4)3-catalyzed PDS activation processes remains obscure. In this study, Fe2(MoO4)3 was prepared via the hydrothermal and calcine method, and photoFenton degradation of methyl orange (MO) was used to evaluate the catalytic performance of Fe2(MoO4)3. Fe2(MoO4)3 catalysts with abundant surface oxygen vacancies were used to construct a synergistic system involving a photocatalyst and PDS activation. The oxygen vacancies and Fe2+/Fe3+ shuttle played key roles in the novel pathways for generation of •O2−, h+, and 1O2 in the UV–Vis + PDS + FMO-6 photoFenton system. The complicated spectrum produced by electric and hybrid car engines is particularly sensitive to the mid-frequency range. Furthermore, sensor placement in future mobility is crucial because when the positions and orientations of sensors are altered by excessive vehicle vibration, it results in the malfunctioning of autonomous driving systems. Smart structure-based active mounting approaches have been developed to reduce engine-induced vibration. These are made to continually adjust the mounts' dynamic properties and enhance their performances in terms of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) under diverse operating circumstances. It can take the place of the engine support system's current mount technique. The performance of the source part for reducing vibration when the structure is triggered by a sinusoidal and multi-frequency signal is the main subject of this study. The overall structure, which has two active mounts based on the source-paths-receiver structure, was modeled using a lumped parameter model. In the source section, sinusoidal, amplitude modulation (AM), and frequency modulation (FM) signals were used in order to assess the effectiveness of vibration reduction in the mid-frequency band. The normalized least mean-square (NLMS) technique was utilized to assess the effectiveness of an active mounting system, and a tracking signal was employed as a control signal. The algorithm was further expanded to the multi-NLMS algorithm to monitor the complex spectral signal. In order to improve the catalytic activity of cobalt molybdate (CoMoO4), a PDS-activated and UV-vis assisted system was constructed. CoMoO4 was prepared by coprecipitation and calcination, and characterized by XRD, FTIR, Raman, SEM, TEM, XPS, TGA Zeta potential, BET, and UV-Vis DRS. The results showed that the morphology of the CoMoO4 nanolumps consisted of stacked nanosheets. XRD indicated the monoclinic structures with C2/m (C32h, #12) space group, which belong to α-CoMoO4, and both Co2+ and Mo6+ ions occupy distorted octahedral sites. The pH of the isoelectric point (pHIEP) of CMO-8 at pH = 4.88 and the band gap of CoMoO4 was 1.92 eV. The catalytic activity of CoMoO4 was evaluated by photo-Fenton degradation of Congo red (CR). The catalytic performance was affected by calcination temperature, catalyst dosage, PDS dosage, and pH. Under the best conditions (0.8 g/L CMO-8, PDS 1 mL), the degradation efficiency of CR was 96.972%. The excellent catalytic activity of CoMoO4 was attributed to the synergistic effect of photo catalysis and CoMoO4-activated PDS degradation. The capture experiments and the ESR showed that superoxide radical (·O2−), singlet oxygen (1O2), hole (h+), sulfate (SO4−·), and hydroxyl (·OH−) were the main free radicals leading to the degradation of CR. The performance of the passing train and the structural state of the track bed are the concerns regarding the safe operation of subways. Monitoring the vibration response of the track bed structure and identifying abnormal signals within it will help address both of these concerns. Given that it is difficult to collect abnormal samples that are symmetric to those of the normal state of the structure in actual engineering, this paper proposes an unsupervised learning-based methodology for identifying the abnormal signals of the track beds detected by the ultra-weak fiber optic Bragg grating sensing array. For an actual subway tunnel monitoring system, an unsupervised learning network was trained by using a sufficient amount of vibration signals of the track bed collected when trains passed under normal conditions, which was used to quantify the deviations caused by anomalies. An experiment to validate the proposed procedures was designed and implemented according to the obtained normal and abnormal samples. The abnormal vibration samples of the track beds in the experiment came from two parts and were defined as three levels. One part of it stemmed from the vibration responses under the worn wheels of a train detected during system operation. The remaining abnormal samples were simulated by superimposing perturbations in the normal samples. The experimental results demonstrated that the established unsupervised learning network and the selected metric for quantifying error sequences can serve the threshold selection well based on the receiver operating characteristic curve. Moreover, the discussion results of the comparative tests also illustrated that the average results of accuracy and F1-score of the proposed network were at least 11% and 13% higher than those of the comparison networks, respectively. Metasurface holograms, with the capability to manipulate spatial light amplitudes and phases, are considered next-generation solutions for holographic imaging. However, conventional fabrication approaches for meta-atoms are heavily dependent on electron-beam lithography (EBL), a technique known for its expensive and time-consuming nature. In this paper, a polarization-insensitive metasurface hologram is proposed using a cost-effective and rapid nanoimprinting method with titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticle loaded polymer (NLP). Based on a simulation, it has been found that, despite a reduction in the aspect ratio of meta-atoms of nearly 20%, which is beneficial to silicon master etching, NLP filling, and the mold release processes, imaging efficiency can go up to 54% at wavelength of 532 nm. In addition, it demonstrates acceptable imaging quality at wavelengths of 473 and 671 nm. Moreover, the influence of fabrication errors and nanoimprinting material degradation in terms of residual layer thickness, meta-atom loss or fracture, thermal-induced dimensional variation, non-uniform distribution of TiO2 particles, etc., on the performance is investigated. The development and utilization of land in the main urban area have significantly impacted the stability of the regional geological environment through various means, such as increased load and subway construction, primarily manifested as rock and soil mass deformation leading to geological hazards. Therefore, it is worth exploring how to reduce the occurrence of karst ground subsidence (KGS) through reasonable land development and control measures in the main urban areas with large-scale developments of buried karst formations. This study focuses on the main urban area of Wuhan City. An evaluation model for KGS was constructed using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and comprehensive index evaluation method by analyzing the geological conditions that affect KGS. The susceptibility zoning of KGS was obtained with GIS spatial analysis technology. The results show that the susceptible areas can be divided into extreme, high, medium, and weak susceptibility, accounting for 4.93%, 15.30%, 33.21%, and 46.56%, respectively, which are consistent with the distribution density of past KSGs. Furthermore, by selecting the subway construction as a human activity type, it indirectly discusses the influence of land development intensity on KGS. The results show that past KSGs are mainly concentrated in areas with high engineering construction density and significant land development intensity. MITA (also called STING), a master regulator of DNA-mediated innate immune activation, is a potential therapeutic target for viral infection and virus-related diseases. The circRNA-mediated ceRNA network plays important roles in gene regulation and may contribute to many human diseases. However, the relationship between MITA and recurrent miscarriage (RM) and its circRNA-related regulatory mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we validated that the decidual M1/M2 ratio was upregulated in RM patients, suggesting the vital roles of decidual macrophages in the pathogenesis of RM. We found that MITA was highly expressed in decidual macrophages of RM patients and validated that MITA could promote apoptosis and macrophage proinflammatory polarization in THP-1-derived macrophage (TDM) cells. Using circRNA sequencing and bioinformatic analysis, we screened out a novel circRNA (circKIAA0391) that is overexpressed in decidual macrophages of RM patients. Mechanistically, we found that circKIAA0391 could promote the apoptosis and proinflammatory polarization of TDM cells by sponging the miR-512-5p/MITA axis. This study provides a theoretical basis for further understanding the impact of MITA on macrophages and its circRNA-related regulatory mechanisms, which may have a crucial immunomodulatory function in the pathophysiology of RM. Internal electromagnetic stirring is an advanced melt treatment method, which can be used in direct chill casting to prepare large-scale Al alloy billets. Intercooling intensity is a primary parameter of internal electromagnetic stirring; its effects on temperature fields and microstructures have been investigated via numerical simulations and industrial experiments, respectively. The simulated results show an increase in the intercooling affected area and a decrease in sump depth with an increase in the intercooling heat transfer coefficient. The heat transfer coefficient should not exceed 500 W/(m2 °C) because the solid fraction of the intercooling end bottom may exceed 50%. The experiment's results demonstrate that the average grain sizes in the edge, 1/2 radius, and center are 151 ± 13 μm, 159 ± 14 μm, and 149 ± 16 μm, respectively, under a liquid nitrogen flow rate of 160 L/min, which is much finer than that of 80 L/min and more homogeneous than that of 240 L/min. Furthermore, an experimental liquid nitrogen flow rate of 80 L/min, 160 L/min, and 240 L/min approximately correspond to the simulated heat transfer coefficient of 200 W/(m2 °C), 300 W/(m2 °C), and 400 W/(m2 °C), respectively. The serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) signaling system is involved in a variety of physiological functions, including the control of cognition, reward, learning, memory, and vasoconstriction in vertebrates. Contrary to the extensive studies in the mammalian system, little is known about the molecular characteristics of the avian serotonin signaling network. In this study, we cloned and characterized the full-length cDNA of three serotonin receptor genes (HTR1B, HTR1E and HTR1F) in chicken pituitaries. Synteny analyses indicated that HTR1B, HTR1E and HTR1F were highly conserved across vertebrates. Cell-based luciferase reporter assays showed that the three chicken HTRs were functional, capable of binding their natural ligands (5-HT) or selective agonists (CP94253, BRL54443, and LY344864) and inhibiting intracellular cAMP production in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, activation of these receptors could stimulate the MAPK/ERK signaling cascade. Quantitative real-time PCR analyses revealed that HTR1B, HTR1E and HTR1F were primarily expressed in various brain regions and the pituitary. In cultured chicken pituitary cells, we found that LY344864 could significantly inhibit the secretion of PRL stimulated by vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) or forskolin, revealing that HTR1F might be involved in the release of prolactin in chicken. Elastic optical networks (EONs) can make service accommodation more flexible and precise by employing efficient routing and spectrum allocation (RSA) algorithms. In order to improve the efficiency of RSA algorithms, the advanced-reservation technique was introduced into designing RSA algorithms. However, few of these advanced-reservation-based RSA algorithms were focused on the unavailable spectrum resources in EONs. In this paper, we propose an Advanced-Reservation-based Invalid-Spectrum-Aware (AR-ISA) resource allocation algorithm to improve the networking performance and the resource alignment of EONs. By employing a new index, Invalid Spectrum Rate (ISR), to record the proportion of unavailable spectrum resources in EONs, the proposed AR-ISA algorithm set a network load threshold to trigger the postponement of an arriving service. Compared with the traditional slack-based AR mechanism, the proposed algorithm has more concerns about the current spectrum usage of the path designated by the service than the conflicts between AR services and other existing services. To further increase the networking performance, the proposed algorithm adopts defragmentation to increase the number of available spectrum resources when postponing a service. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed AR-ISA algorithm has obvious effectiveness in reducing the service blocking rate and increasing the spectrum alignment rate. To improve the capacity to probe volatile chemical substances in the atmosphere, we designed an unmanned aerial vehicle system for volatile organic compound (VOC) monitoring and sampling. This environmental monitoring unmanned aerial vehicle (EMUAV) platform was equipped with a photoionization detector for continuous VOC monitoring and searching in a pollution air mass. Furthermore, a multifunction airborne microVOC sampler was loaded for sampling. An airbag and absorption tube were applied to collect air samples for further analyzing in the laboratory by GC-FID/MS or TD-GC/MS. By comparing the aerial samples derived from the microVOC sampler with the samples collected at a similar height to a building roof for chemical compositions, the sampling conditions, such as the sampling port location and sampling method, were optimized to ensure the representativeness of the air samples. The results of the sample comparison experiment showed that both the airbag method and the adsorption method could recover 70–130% for most VOC species. Through the aerial measurements, the advantages of this EMUAV system were demonstrated. Therefore, the developed EMUAV system would have immeasurable potential in the field of environment monitoring. High power electromagnetics (HPEMs) pose a potential threatening risk to the wireless communication system, especially according to the main coupling path of the RF front-end channel. SPICE modeling of the responses coupled on the RF channel is crucial for the EM risk assessment, which helps us learn more about how the pulse conducts on the RF channel. A simplified linear RF channel with pyramid horn antenna is taken as an example by the selection of the key electronic modules of the actual wireless system. This paper proposes a system-level SPICE circuit model for the simplified RF channel according to the hybrid methods of the antenna electromagnetic simulation and SPICE modeling of the RF circuit. The equivalent circuits of the horn antenna illuminated by HPEMs are established with the Vector Fitting method based on Thevenin and Norton theorems. The short current response as the excitation files for the SPICE models are obtained by the commercial electromagnetic simulation of the horn antenna illuminated by Multiple HPEM environments. Equivalent circuits of a micro-strip bandpass filter are also derived with π type circuit structure based on the measured admittance data. Then we analyze the HPEM risk faced by the RF channel by considering multiple HPEM environments. The norm theory is utilized to analyze the waveform characteristics from electric fields of HPEMs to the responses of the RF channel. The ratios of the responses versus electric field for each norm are computed and the EM risk degree is ranked based on those results. The results demonstrate that high power microwave is the highest threatening risk for the linear RF channel compared to the other two HPEMs such as ultra-wide band, high altitude electromagnetic pulse. Simple Summary: Raphanus is an important genus of Brassicaceae and has undergone a lengthy evolutionary process. However, the inter- and intraspecific phylogenetic relationships and genetic diversity are not well understood. To elucidate these issues, we SSR-sequenced 939 wild, semi-wild and cultivated accessions, and discovered that Europe was the origin center of radishes with diverse European wild radishes, and Europe, South Asia and East Asia might be three independent domestication centers. There was considerable genetic differentiation within European cultivated radishes. European primitive cultivated radish exhibited gene flow with black radish/oil radish and rat-tail radish. Among Asian cultivated radishes, rat-tail radish was a sister to the clade of Chines big radish (including Japanese wild radish), suggesting that they may share the most recent common ancestry. Japanese wild radish had strong gene exchange with Japanese/Korea big radish, oil radish and rat-tail radish. American wild radish developed from natural hybridization between European wild radish and European small radish. All these demonstrated that European primitive cultivated type, American wild radish and Japanese wild radish might have played indispensable roles in radish evolution. Our study provides new perspectives into the origin, evolution and genetic diversity of Raphanus and facilitates the conservation and exploitation of radish germplasm resources. Raphanus has undergone a lengthy evolutionary process and has rich diversity. However, the inter- and intraspecific phylogenetic relationships and genetic diversity of this genus are not well understood. Through SSR-sequencing and multi-analysis of 939 wild, semi-wild and cultivated accessions, we discovered that the European wild radish (EWR) population is separated from cultivated radishes and has a higher genetic diversity. Frequent intraspecific genetic exchanges occurred in the whole cultivated radish (WCR) population; there was considerable genetic differentiation within the European cultivated radish (ECR) population, which could drive radish diversity formation. Among the ECR subpopulations, European primitive cultivated radishes (EPCRs) with higher genetic diversity are most closely related to the EWR population and exhibit a gene flow with rat-tail radishes (RTRs) and black radishes (BRs)/oil radishes (ORs). Among Asian cultivated radishes (ACRs), Chinese big radishes (CBRs) with a relatively high diversity are furthest from the EWR population, and most Japanese/Korean big radishes (JKBRs) are close to CBR accessions, except for a few old Japanese landraces that are closer to the EPCR. The CBR and JKBR accessions are independent of RTR accessions; however, phylogenetic analysis indicates that the RTR is sister to the clade of CBR (including JWR), which suggests that the RTR may share the most recent common ancestry with CBRs and JWRs. In addition, Japanese wild radishes (JWRs), (namely, R. sativus forma raphanistroides) are mainly scattered between CBRs and EPCRs in PCoA analysis. Moreover, JWRs have a strong gene exchange with the JKBR, OR and RTR subpopulations. American wild radishes (AWRs) are closely related to European wild and cultivated radishes, and have a gene flow with European small radishes (ESRs), suggesting that the AWR developed from natural hybridization between the EWR and the ESR. Overall, this demonstrates that Europe was the origin center of the radish, and that Europe, South Asia and East Asia appear to have been three independent domestication centers. The EPCR, AWR and JWR, as semi-wild populations, might have played indispensable transitional roles in radish evolution. Decidualization is a crucial step for human reproduction, which is a prerequisite for embryo implantation, placentation and pregnancy maintenance. Despite rapid advances over recent years, the molecular mechanism underlying decidualization remains poorly understood. Here, we used the mouse as an animal model and generated a single-cell transcriptomic atlas of a mouse uterus during decidualization. By analyzing the undecidualized inter-implantation site of the uterus as a control, we were able to identify global gene expression changes associated with decidualization in each cell type. Additionally, we identified intercellular crosstalk between decidual cells and niche cells, including immune cells, endothelial cells and trophoblast cells. The lack of effective therapeutics for Coxsackievirus B4 (CVB4) infection underscores the importance of finding novel antiviral compounds. Emodin (1,3,8-trihydroxy-6-methylanthraquinone) is one of the natural anthraquinone derivatives obtained from the root and rhizome of Polygonum cuspidatum. In the present study, the possibility of using emodin as a potential antiviral to treat CVB4 infection was explored in vitro and in mice. Emodin reduced CVB4 entry and replication on Hep-2 cells in a concentration- and time-dependent manner, with a 50% effective concentration (EC50) of 12.06 μM and selectivity index (SI) of 5.08, respectively. The inhibitory effect of emodin for CVB4 entry and replication was further confirmed by a quantitative real time PCR (qPCR) assay. The results further showed that the mice orally treated with different dosages of emodin displayed a dose dependent increase of survival rate, body weight and prolonged mean time of death (MTD), accompanied by significantly decreased myocardial virus titers and pathologic scores/lesions. Moreover, emodin could inhibit CVB4-induced apoptosis in vitro and in vivo. Our results indicated that emodin could be used as potential antiviral in the post-exposure prophylaxis for CVB4 infection. Three new γ-butenolide derivatives 1-3, named spiculisporic acids B-D, were isolated from the culture of Aspergillus sp. HDf2, a marine-derived fungus that resides in the sea urchin, Anthocidaris crassispina. Rubella virus (RuV) is the infectious agent of a series of birth defect diseases termed congenital rubella syndrome, which is a major public health concern all around the world. RNA interference (RNAi) is a crucial antiviral defense mechanism in eukaryotes, and numerous viruses have been found to encode viral suppressors of RNAi (VSRs) to evade antiviral RNAi response. However, there is little knowledge about whether and how RuV antagonizes RNAi. In this study, we identified that the RuV capsid protein is a potent VSR that can efficiently suppress shRNA- and siRNA-induced RNAi in mammalian cells. Moreover, the VSR activity of the RuV capsid is dependent on its dimerization and double-stranded RNA (dsRNA)-binding activity. In addition, ectopic expression of the RuV capsid can effectively rescue the replication defect of a VSR-deficient virus or replicon, implying that the RuV capsid can act as a VSR in the context of viral infection. Together, our findings uncover that RuV encodes a VSR to evade antiviral RNAi response, which expands our understanding of RuV–host interaction and sheds light on the potential therapeutic target against RuV. Ground-level ozone (O3), which is mainly from the photochemical reactions of NOx and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), has become a crucial pollutant obstructing air quality improvement in China. Understanding the composition, temporal variability and source apportionment of VOCs is necessary for determining effective control measures to minimize VOCs and their related photochemical pollution. To provide a comprehensive analysis of VOC sources and their contributions to ozone formation in the city of Chengdu—a megacity with the highest rates of industrial and economic development in southwest China—we conducted a one-month monitoring project at three urban sites (Shuangliu, Xindu, Junpingjie; SL, XD and JPJ, respectively) along the main north–south meteorological transport channel before and during the implemented control measures. Alkanes were the dominant group at each site, contributing to around 50% of the observed total VOCs, followed by oxygen-containing VOCs (OVOCs), aromatics, halohydrocarbons and alkenes. During the control period, the mixing ratios of most measured VOC species decreased, and O3 concentrations were down by at least 20%. VOC species experiencing the most effect from control were aromatics and OVOCs, which had higher O3 formation reactivity. This indicated that the control policies had significant influence on reductions of reactive VOC species. We also identified VOC sources at SL and XD using positive matrix factorization (PMF) and assessed their contributions to photochemical O3 formation by calculating the O3 formation potential (OFP) based on mass concentrations and maximum incremental reactivity of related VOCs. Five dominant VOC sources were identified, with the highest contributions from vehicular exhaust and fuel evaporation before control, followed by solvent utilization, biogenic background and secondary formation, and industrial emissions. Contribution from vehicular exhaust was reduced the most at SL, while at XD, secondary formation VOCs decreased significantly. VOCs from vehicular and industrial emissions and solvent utilization were found to be the dominant precursors for OFPs, particularly the species of xylenes, toluene and propene. Our results therefore suggest that priority should be given to the alleviation of photochemical pollutants for effective control of O3 formation in Chengdu.
