Meat quality in goats is partly determined by the intramuscular fat (IMF) content, which is associated with the proliferation and differentiation of intramuscular preadipocytes. Emerging studies have suggested that miRNA plays a crucial role in adipocyte proliferation and differentiation. In our recent study, we observed the expression variations in miR-196a in the longissimus dorsi muscle of Jianzhou goats at different ages. However, the specific function and underlying mechanism of miR-196a in IMF deposition are still unclear. This study demonstrated that miR-196a significantly enhanced adipogenesis and apoptosis and reduced the proliferation of preadipocytes. Subsequently, RNA-seq was employed to determine genes regulated by miR-196a, and 677 differentially expressed genes were detected after miR-196a overexpression. The PI3K-Akt pathway was identified as activated in miR-196a regulating intramuscular adipogenesis via Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis and further verified via Western blot and rescue assays. Lastly, using RT-qPCR, Western blot, dual-luciferase, and rescue assays, we found that miR-196a promoted adipogenesis and suppressed the proliferation of intramuscular preadipocytes by the downregulation of MAP3K1. In summary, these results suggest that miR-196a regulates IMF deposition by targeting MAP3K1 and activating the PI3K-Akt pathway and provide a theoretical foundation for improving goat meat quality through molecular breeding. In this work, a two-parameter inversion problem is analyzed, related to surface crack widths for measuring depths of normal surface notches, based on a laser-based ultrasonic measurement method in the time domain. In determining the depth measurement formulas, the main technique is the time delay between reflected and scattered waves. Scattered waves are generated by two reflections along the bottom and three mode transformations at the surface of the crack tips. Moreover, the scattering angle of the mode-conversion waves is 30°. These two key factors lead to corrected item "2wβ" in the depth measurement formula. A laser-based ultrasonic experimental platform is built to generate and receive surface waves in a non-contact manner on aluminum and steel specimens with surface cracks. The depth measurement method proposed in this paper has been validated through theoretical, simulation, and experimental methods. Finally, in this paper, an effective approach for quantitatively measuring crack depths, based on laser ultrasound, using the time-domain properties of surface wave propagation is provided. In the realm of plant biology, small RNAs (sRNAs) are imperative in the orchestration of gene expression, playing pivotal roles across a spectrum of developmental sequences and responses to environmental stressors. The biosynthetic cascade of sRNAs is characterized by an elaborate network of enzymatic pathways that meticulously process double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) precursors into sRNA molecules, typically 20 to 30 nucleotides in length. These sRNAs, chiefly microRNAs (miRNAs) and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), are integral in guiding the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) to selectively target messenger RNAs (mRNAs) for post-transcriptional modulation. This regulation is achieved either through the targeted cleavage or the suppression of translational efficiency of the mRNAs. In plant development, sRNAs are integral to the modulation of key pathways that govern growth patterns, organ differentiation, and developmental timing. The biogenesis of sRNA itself is a fine-tuned process, beginning with transcription and proceeding through a series of processing steps involving Dicer-like enzymes and RNA-binding proteins. Recent advances in the field have illuminated the complex processes underlying the generation and function of small RNAs (sRNAs), including the identification of new sRNA categories and the clarification of their involvement in the intercommunication among diverse regulatory pathways. This review endeavors to evaluate the contemporary comprehension of sRNA biosynthesis and to underscore the pivotal role these molecules play in directing the intricate performance of plant developmental processes. As one of the emerging hallmarks of tumorigenesis and tumor progression, metabolic remodeling is common in the tumor microenvironment. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the third leading cause of global tumor-related mortality, causing a series of metabolic alterations in response to nutrient availability and consumption to fulfill the demands of biosynthesis and carcinogenesis. Despite the efficacy of immunotherapy in treating HCC, the response rate remains unsatisfactory. Recently, research has focused on metabolic reprogramming and its effects on the immune state of the tumor microenvironment, and immune response rate. In this review, we delineate the metabolic reprogramming observed in HCC and its influence on the tumor immune microenvironment. We discuss strategies aimed at enhancing response rates and overcoming immune resistance through metabolic interventions, focusing on targeting glucose, lipid, or amino acid metabolism, as well as systemic regulation. With rapid industrialization and urbanization, the contradiction between the human exploitation of land production and living functions and natural ecosystem service functions has intensified. The issues of how to coordinate the exploitation and conservation functions of land and guide the rational distribution of human activities have become important for global sustainable development, especially considering the realization that multifunctional land use is an effective way to relieve land pressure and improve land use efficiency, that land multifunction has significant spatio-temporal heterogeneity, and that there is a mutual promotion and stress relationship between multifunctional land use. However, few existing studies have discussed the decoupling relationship among land use functions. In this study, a system of 10 sub-functions and 25 indicators was established based on the production function (PDF), living function (LVF), and ecological function (ELF) for 59 cities in the Yellow River Basin (YRB). There are both subjective and objective procedures employed to determine the weights, while an exploratory spatial data analysis is used to analyze the time-based and territorial changes in various functions of land use in the study area from 2000 to 2020. The decoupling relationship between the three functions is detected utilizing the theoretical foundation of the decoupling analysis. The results show that land use is multifunctional, LUFs develop unevenly, and their spatial distribution varies substantially. The results of the decoupling analysis demonstrate that the predominant types of correlations among the land use ELF and PDF and LVF over the research period are strong decoupling and strong negative decoupling correlations, with the former being a dilemma and the latter being a sustainable type of development. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary phosphatidylserine (PS) supplementation on the growth performance, stress response, non-specific immunity and antioxidant capacity of juvenile blunt snout bream (Megalobrama ambylcephala) cultured under a high stocking density. A 2 × 2 two-factorial design was adopted, including two stocking densities (10 and 20 fish/m3) and two dietary PS levels (0 and 50 mg/kg). After the 12-week feeding trial, the high stocking density significantly decreased the final weight; weight gain rate; specific growth rate; feed intake; nitrogen retention efficiency; plasma complement 3 (C3) level; albumin/globulin (ALB/GLB, A/G) ratio; activity of myeloperoxidase, lysozyme (LZM) and glutathione peroxidase (GPX); gpx transcription; and abundance of sirtuin3 (Sirt3) and nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2). However, it significantly increased the plasma levels of cortisol, glucose (GLU), lactic acid (LD), total protein and GLB; hepatic malondialdehyde (MDA) content; and sirt1 transcription. PS supplementation significantly increased the plasma ALB and C4 levels; the A/G ratio; the activity of LZM, CAT and GPX; the transcription of sirt1, nrf2, manganese-containing superoxide dismutase and catalase; and the Nrf2 abundance. However, it significantly decreased the plasma levels of cortisol, GLU and GLB, as well as the hepatic MDA content. In addition, there was a significant interaction between the stocking density and PS supplementation regarding the effects on the plasma LD, ALB, GLB and C3 levels; A/G ratio; hepatic CAT activity; and protein abundance of Sod2. Hydraulic infrastructures are susceptible to deformation over time, necessitating reliable monitoring and prediction methods. In this study, we address this challenge by proposing a novel approach based on the combination of Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) methods for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) deformation monitoring and prediction modeling. The VMD method is utilized to decompose the complex deformation signals into intrinsic mode functions, which are then fed into a CNN method for feature extraction. The extracted features are input into an LSTM method to capture temporal dependencies and make predictions. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed VMD-CNN-LSTM method exhibits an improvement by about 75%. This research contributes to the advancement of deformation monitoring technologies in water conservancy engineering, offering a promising solution for proactive maintenance and risk mitigation strategies. Hydraulic structures are the key national infrastructures, whose safety and stability are crucial for socio-economic development. Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology, as a high-precision deformation monitoring method, is of great significance for the safety and stability of hydraulic structures. However, the GNSS time series exhibits characteristics such as high nonlinearity, spatiotemporal correlation, and noise interference, making it difficult to model for prediction. The Neural Networks (CNN) model has strong feature extraction capabilities and translation invariance. However, it remains sensitive to changes in the scale and position of the target and requires large amounts of data. The Gated Recurrent Units (GRU) model could improve the training effectiveness by introducing gate mechanisms, but its ability to model long-term dependencies is limited. This study proposes a combined model, using CNN to extract spatial features and GRU to capture temporal information, to achieve an accurate prediction. The experiment shows that the proposed CNN-GRU model has a better performance, with an improvement of approximately 45%, demonstrating higher accuracy and reliability in predictions for GNSS deformation monitoring. Film bulk acoustic-wave resonators (FBARs) are widely utilized in the field of radio frequency (RF) filters due to their excellent performance, such as high operation frequency and high quality. In this paper, we present the design, fabrication, and characterization of an FBAR filter for the 3.0 GHz–3.2 GHz S-band. Using a scandium-doped aluminum nitride (Sc0.2Al0.8N) film, the filter is designed through a combined acoustic–electromagnetic simulation method, and the FBAR and filter are fabricated using an eight-step lithographic process. The measured FBAR presents an effective electromechanical coupling coefficient ( k e f f 2 ) value up to 13.3%, and the measured filter demonstrates a −3 dB bandwidth of 115 MHz (from 3.013 GHz to 3.128 GHz), a low insertion loss of −2.4 dB, and good out-of-band rejection of −30 dB. The measured 1 dB compression point of the fabricated filter is 30.5 dBm, and the first series resonator burns out first as the input power increases. Fusarium crown rot (FCR) in wheat is a prevalent soil-borne disease worldwide and poses a significant threat to the production of wheat (Triticum aestivum) in China, with F. pseudograminearum being the dominant pathogen. Currently, there is a shortage of biocontrol resources to control FCR induced by F. pseudograminearum, along with biocontrol mechanisms. In this study, we have identified 37 strains of biocontrol bacteria displaying antagonistic effects against F. pseudograminearum from over 8000 single colonies isolated from soil samples with a high incidence of FCR. Among them, QY43 exhibited remarkable efficacy in controlling FCR. Further analysis identified the isolate QY43 as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, based on its colony morphology and molecular biology. In vitro, QY43 significantly inhibited the growth, conidial germination, and the pathogenicity of F. pseudograminearum. In addition, QY43 exhibited a broad spectrum of antagonistic activities against several plant pathogens. The genomics analysis revealed that there are genes encoding potential biocontrol factors in the genome of QY43. The experimental results confirmed that QY43 secretes biocontrol factor siderophores and pyocyanin. In summary, QY43 exhibits a broad spectrum of antagonistic activities and the capacity to produce diverse biocontrol factors, thereby showing substantial potential for biocontrol applications to plant disease. This paper presents an innovative integrated sensor that combines GNSS and a low-cost accelerometer for bridge health monitoring. GNSS and accelerometers are both significant and effective sensors for structural monitoring, but they each have limitations. The sampling rate of GNSS data is relatively low, making it challenging to capture high-frequency vibrations, while accelerometers struggle with low-frequency signals and are susceptible to environmental changes. Additionally, GNSS receivers and accelerometers are often installed separately, leading to challenges in data fusion processing due to differing temporal and geospatial references. The proposed integrated sensor addresses these issues by synchronizing GNSS and an accelerometer's time and geospatial coordinate reference. This allows for a more accurate and reliable deformation and vibration measurement for bridge monitoring. The performance of the new sensor was assessed using a high-quality/cost Leica GM30 GNSS receiver and a Sherborne A545 accelerometer. Experiments conducted on the Wilford suspension bridge demonstrate the effectiveness of this innovative integrated sensor in measuring deformation and vibration for bridge health monitoring. The local land use carbon budget (LUCB) balance is an important factor in achieving regional carbon neutrality. As the basic unit of China's economic development and social governance, the county level is an important part of the realization of the "double carbon" goal. This paper focuses on 1069 county units within the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB). It utilizes data on land use, nighttime light, energy consumption, and social and economic factors to construct carbon emission models. The spatiotemporal characteristics of LUCB in these county units are analyzed using standard deviational ellipse (SDE) and spatial autocorrelation methods. Additionally, a zoning study is conducted by examining the economic contribution coefficient (ECC) of carbon emissions, the ecological support coefficient (ESC), and their coupling relationship. The results show that (1) the total land use carbon emissions (LUCE) increased significantly during the research period, and the total carbon sink was relatively stable. (2) The LUCB is spatially high in the east and low in the west, with the center of gravity moving to the southwest as a whole. (3) The LUCB shows positive spatial autocorrelation and has significant spatial agglomeration characteristics, which are mainly high–high and low–low regional agglomeration types. (4) The ECC is high in the east and low in the west, the ESC is high in the west and low in the east, and the coordination and coupling degrees of the two are low. (5) According to the ECC and ESC, the county unit is divided into a low-carbon conservation area, an economic development area, a carbon sink development area, and a comprehensive optimization area. Intramuscular fat (IMF) deposition is one of the most important factors affecting meat quality and is closely associated with the expression of carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1A (CPT1A) which facilitates the transfer of long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs) into the mitochondria. However, the role of how CPT1A regulates the IMF formation remains unclear. Herein, we established the temporal expression profile of CPT1A during the differentiation of goat intramuscular precursor adipocytes. Functionally, the knockdown of CPT1A by siRNA treatment significantly increased the mRNA expression of adipogenic genes and promoted lipid deposition in goat intramuscular precursor adipocytes. Meanwhile, a CPT1A deficiency inhibited cell proliferation and promoted cell apoptosis significantly. CPT1A was then supported by the overexpression of CPT1A which significantly suppressed the cellular triglyceride deposition and promoted cell proliferation although the cell apoptosis also was increased. For RNA sequencing, a total of 167 differential expression genes (DEGs), including 125 upregulated DEGs and 42 downregulated DEGs, were observed after the RNA silencing of CPT1A compared to the control, and were predicted to enrich in the focal adhesion pathway, cell cycle, apoptosis and the MAPK signaling pathway by KEGG analysis. Specifically, blocking the MAPK signaling pathway by a specific inhibitor (PD169316) rescued the promotion of cell proliferation in CPT1A overexpression adipocytes. In conclusion, the expression variation of CPT1A may reconstruct the lipid distribution between cellular triglyceride deposition and cell proliferation in goat intramuscular precursor adipocyte. Furthermore, we demonstrate that CPT1A promotes the proliferation of goat adipocytes through the MAPK signaling pathway. Accurately and efficiently predicting the fuel consumption of vehicles is the key to improving their fuel economy. This paper provides a comprehensive review of data-driven fuel consumption prediction models. Firstly, by classifying and summarizing relevant data that affect fuel consumption, it was pointed out that commonly used data currently involve three aspects: vehicle performance, driving behavior, and driving environment. Then, from the model structure, the predictive energy and the characteristics of the traditional machine learning model (support vector machine, random forest), the neural network model (artificial neural network and deep neural network), and this paper point out that: (1) the prediction model of fuel consumption based on neural networks has a higher data processing ability, higher training speed, and stable prediction ability; (2) by combining the advantages of different models to build a hybrid model for fuel consumption prediction, the prediction accuracy of fuel consumption can be greatly improved; (3) when comparing the relevant indicts, both the neural network method and the hybrid model consistently exhibit a coefficient of determination above 0.90 and a root mean square error below 0.40. Despite surpassing lung cancer as the most frequently diagnosed cancer, female breast cancer (BC) still lacks rapid detection methods for screening that can be implemented on a large scale in practical clinical settings. However, urine is a readily available biofluid obtained non-invasively and contains numerous volatile organic metabolites (VOMs) that offer valuable metabolic information concerning the onset and progression of diseases. In this work, a rapid method for analysis of VOMs in urine by using high-pressure photon ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (HPPI-TOFMS) coupled with dynamic purge injection. A simple pretreatment process of urine samples by adding acid and salt was employed for efficient VOM sampling, and the numbers of metabolites increased and the detection sensitivity was improved after the acid (HCl) and salt (NaCl) addition. The established mass spectrometry detection method was applied to analyze a set of training samples collected from a local hospital, including 24 breast cancer patients and 27 healthy controls. Statistical analysis techniques such as principal component analysis, partial least squares discriminant analysis, and the Mann–Whitney U test were used, and nine VOMs were identified as differential metabolites. Finally, acrolein, 2-pentanone, and methyl allyl sulfide were selected to build a metabolite combination model for distinguishing breast cancer patients from the healthy group, and the achieved sensitivity and specificity were 92.6% and 91.7%, respectively, according to the receiver operating characteristic curve analysis. Battery states are very important for the safe and reliable use of new energy vehicles. The estimation of power battery states has become a research hotspot in the development of electric buses and transportation safety management. This paper summarizes the basic workflow of battery states estimation tasks, compares, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of three types of data sources for battery states estimation, summarizes the characteristics and research progress of the three main models used for estimating power battery states such as machine learning models, deep learning models, and hybrid models, and prospects the development trend of estimation methods. It can be concluded that there are many data sources used for battery states estimation, and the onboard sensor data under natural driving conditions has the characteristics of objectivity and authenticity, making it the main data source for accurate power battery states estimation; Artificial neural network promotes the rapid development of deep learning methods, and deep learning models are increasingly applied in power battery states estimation, demonstrating advantages in accuracy and robustness; Hybrid models estimate the states of power batteries more accurately and reliably by comprehensively utilizing the characteristics of different types of models, which is an important development trend of battery states estimation methods. To effectively improve the water quality of the Bai River, this paper proposes the use of the ecological replenishment of the South–North Water Transfer as a measure for the integrated allocation of water resources, addressing the impact of complex topography, climate, and human disturbances on the river's water environment. This measure can alleviate the problem of water shortage and significantly enhance the quality of the Bai River's water environment. Using the MIKE21 coupled hydrodynamic and water-quality model, this paper analyzes the impact of ecological recharge on river hydrodynamics and simulates the evolution of various water-quality indicators, including dissolved oxygen (DO), permanganate index (CODMn), chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), and total phosphorus (TP) under different scenarios. The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact mechanism of ecological recharge on the river's water environment. The results show that the most significant improvement in river water quality is achieved when the recharge flow is 2Q and the recharge duration is 1/2T (scenario 1), with the river improving from a grade IV water-quality standard to a grade III water-quality standard, and COD and TP indicators improving to a grade II water standard, with the largest improvement rate of 94.67% seen in DO, with the best improvement rate of 94.67% in DO indicators and the best reduction rate of 66.67% in TP indicators. Overall, ecological replenishment can significantly improve the Bai River's water quality, with scenario 1 being the most effective approach. Nobiletin (NOB) is a naturally occurring compound, commonly found in citrus peel, that shows hepatoprotective and lipid-reducing effects. However, the lipid biomarkers and the potential improvement mechanisms have not been adequately explored. Therefore, we investigated the ameliorative effect and the molecular mechanism of NOB on NAFLD induced by a high-fat diet in mice. The results showed that supplementation with NOB over 12 weeks markedly improved glucose tolerance, serum lipid profiles, inflammatory factors, hepatic steatosis, and oxidative stress. These beneficial effects were mainly related to reduced levels of potential lipid biomarkers including free fatty acids, diacylglycerols, triacylglycerols, and cholesteryl esters according to hepatic lipidomic analysis. Twenty lipids, including DGs and phosphatidylcholines, were identified as potential lipid biomarkers. Furthermore, RT-qPCR and Western blot analysis indicated that NOB inhibited the expression of lipogenesis-related factors such as SREBP-1c, SCD-1, and FAS, and upregulated the expression of lipid oxidation (PPARα) and cholesterol conversion (LXRα, CYP7A1, and CYP27A1) genes as well as antioxidation-related factors (Nucl-Nrf2, NQO1, HO-1, and GCLC), indicating that NOB intake may reduce lipid biosynthesis and increase lipid consumption to improve hepatic steatosis and oxidative stress. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) accounts for more than 90% of all renal cancers. The five-year survival rate of early-stage (TNM 1) ccRCC reaches 96%, while the advanced-stage (TNM 4) is only 23%. Therefore, early screening of patients with renal cancer is essential for the treatment of renal cancer and the long-term survival of patients. In this study, blood samples of patients were collected and a pre-defined set of blood indicators were measured. A random forest (RF) model was established to predict based on each indicator in the blood, and was trained with all relevant indicators for comprehensive predictions. In our study, we found that there was a high statistical significance (p < 0.001) for all indicators of healthy individuals and early cancer patients, except for uric acid (UA). At the same time, ccRCC also presented great differences in most blood indicators between males and females. In addition, patients with ccRCC had a higher probability of developing a low ratio of albumin (ALB) to globulin (GLB) (AGR < 1.2). Eight key indicators were used to classify and predict renal cell carcinoma. The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) of the eight-indicator model was as high as 0.932, the sensitivity was 88.2%, and the specificity was 86.3%, which are acceptable in many applications, thus realising early screening for renal cancer by blood indicators in a simple blood-draw physical examination. Furthermore, the composite indicator prediction method described in our study can be applied to other clinical conditions or diseases, where multiple blood indicators may be key to enhancing the diagnostic potential of screening strategies. In this paper, a relaxed variable metric primal-dual fixed-point algorithm is proposed for solving the convex optimization problem involving the sum of two convex functions where one is differentiable with the Lipschitz continuous gradient while the other is composed of a linear operator. Based on the preconditioned forward–backward splitting algorithm, the convergence of the proposed algorithm is proved. At the same time, we show that some existing algorithms are special cases of the proposed algorithm. Furthermore, the ergodic convergence and linear convergence rates of the proposed algorithm are established under relaxed parameters. The wireless sensor network (WSN), a communication system widely used in the Internet of Things, usually collects physical data in a natural environment and monitors abnormal events. Because of the redundancy of natural data, a compressed-sensing-based model offers energy-efficient data processing to overcome the energy shortages and uneven consumption problems of a WSN. However, the convex relaxation method, which is widely used for a compressed-sensing-based WSN, is not sufficient for reducing data processing energy consumption. In addition, when abnormal events occur, the redundancy of the original data is destroyed, which makes the traditional compressed sensing methods ineffective. In this paper, we use a non-convex fraction function as the surrogate function of the ℓ 0 -norm, which achieves lower energy consumption of the sensor nodes. Solid developments have been seen in deep-learning-based pose estimation, but few works have explored performance in dense crowds, such as a classroom scene; furthermore, no specific knowledge is considered in the design of image augmentation for pose estimation. A masked autoencoder was shown to have a non-negligible capability in image reconstruction, where the masking mechanism that randomly drops patches forces the model to build unknown pixels from known pixels. Inspired by this self-supervised learning method, where the restoration of the feature loss induced by the mask is consistent with tackling the occlusion problem in classroom scenarios, we discovered that the transfer performance of the pre-trained weights could be used as a model-based augmentation to overcome the intractable occlusion in classroom pose estimation. In this study, we proposed a top-down pose estimation method that utilized the natural reconstruction capability of missing information of the MAE as an effective occluded image augmentation in a pose estimation task. The difference with the original MAE was that instead of using a 75% random mask ratio, we regarded the keypoint distribution probabilistic heatmap as a reference for masking, which we named Pose Mask. To test the performance of our method in heavily occluded classroom scenes, we collected a new dataset for pose estimation in classroom scenes named Class Pose and conducted many experiments, the results of which showed promising performance. The laser ultrasonic method using the characteristics of transmitted Rayleigh waves in the frequency domain to determine micro-crack depth is proposed. A low-pass filter model based on the interaction between Rayleigh waves and surface cracks is built and shows that the stop band, called the sensitive frequency range, is sensitive to the depth of surface cracks. The sum of transmission coefficients in the sensitive frequency range is defined as an evaluated parameter to determine crack depth. Moreover, the effects of the sensitive frequency range and measured distance on the evaluated results are analyzed by the finite-element method to validate the robustness of this depth-evaluating method. The estimated results of surface cracks with depths ranging from 0.08 mm to ~0.5 mm on the FEM models and aluminum-alloy samples demonstrate that the laser ultrasounds using the characteristics of Rayleigh waves in the frequency domain do work for quantitative crack depth. This paper is concerned with numerical solutions to Volterra integro-differential equations with weakly singular kernels. Making use of the transformed fractional Jacobi polynomials, we develop a class of piecewise fractional Galerkin methods for solving this kind of Volterra equation. Then, we study the existence, uniqueness and convergence properties of Galerkin solutions by exploiting the decaying rate of the coefficients of the transformed fractional Jacobi series. The spindle is a key core component of a cotton picker, and its operating parameters directly affect the quality of cotton harvesting. In this study, the spindle was selected as the research object. The kinematics and mechanics analysis of the cotton-picking process was conducted, the dynamic motion trajectory of the spindle was obtained, and the working parameters affecting the picking performance of the spindle were determined. A test bench for spindle picking performance was built; the spindle speed and feed speed were used as test factors; the seed cotton rejection rate, picking time, and picking force were used as evaluation indices for spindle picking performance; and a full-factor test was conducted. The range, variance, and regression analyses were conducted on the test results, and the results showed that spindle speed and feed speed had significant effects on seed cotton rejection rate, picking force, and picking time (p < 0.01). The primary and secondary order of factors affecting seed cotton rejection rate and picking time were spindle speed and feed speed, and the primary and secondary order of factors affecting picking force were feed and spindle speed. By comprehensively analyzing the influence of factors on the evaluation indices, the best combination was obtained as the spindle speed and feed speed of 4000 r/min and 1.8 m/s, respectively. The research results have theoretical research value and practical significance for revealing the picking law of spindles when rotating at a high speed and then realizing efficient cotton harvesting. In this paper, phase-change material (PCM) and ceramsite were used to increase the heat resistance of the asphalt mixture. The ceramsite asphalt mixture with PCM can bring a specific cooling effect to the road surface and alleviate the rapid deterioration at high temperature. Two phase-change materials, PCM-43 and PCM-48, were compared and selected as the heat absorption material of the asphalt mixture. It is found that PCM-43 has better thermal stability, temperature regulation performance, higher enthalpy value, and a less adverse effect on the rheological properties of asphalt. According to the road performance of the asphalt mixture, it suggests that the maximum content of ceramsite is 40%. The specific heat capacity of asphalt mixtures was studied by the method of the insulation bucket test, and the thermal conductivity coefficient of asphalt mixtures was tested by a thermal conductivity instrument. The results show that the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity of the asphalt mixture can be reduced by adding PCM and ceramsite. The effect of ceramsite asphalt concrete with PCM on the temperature field of road structure was further analyzed by finite element method. Due to the thermal resistance of ceramsite in the upper layer, the cooling range and depth in the middle and lower surface layers can be improved. Meanwhile, the heat absorption of phase-change material can alleviate the heating phenomenon of the upper layer. To intelligently and quickly verify the depths and angles of oblique surface cracks using the laser ultrasound technique, a crack geometry information evaluation method using a support vector machine (SVM) is proposed. The relationships between several parameters—which are based on transmitted waves and reflected waves containing crack geometry information in the time domain, frequency domain and time–frequency domain, and crack size—are presented in detail. To decide which feature parameters are involved in the SVM model, two selection standards are proposed according to the correlations between feature parameters and crack size and between the feature parameters themselves. Finally, a seven-feature-parameter SVM model which has an excellent ability to classify oblique crack depths and angles is built. The results of simulations using the finite element method (FEM) and experimental data show that seven parameters based on the SVM model are available for the oblique surface crack depth and angle evaluation and can be used to nondestructively detect natural cracks. During signal transitions at road sections and intersections, pedestrians and vehicles often clash and cause traffic accidents due to unclear right-of-way. To solve this problem, a vehicle safety braking distance model considering human–vehicle characteristics is established and applied to the designed crosswalk safety warning system to enable pedestrians to cross the street intelligently. The model developed to consider human–vehicle characteristics improves the parking sight distance and pedestrian crossing safety psychological distance models by adding consideration of the effect of vehicle size and type on pedestrian psychology. The established model considering human–vehicle characteristics was improved for the stopping sight distance and pedestrian crossing safety psychological distance models. The effects of vehicle size and type on pedestrian psychology were taken into account. The designed warning system can be divided into a detection module, control module, warning module, and wireless communication module. The system detects the position and speed of pedestrians and vehicles and discriminates the conflict situation, executing the corresponding warning plan for three different types of situations. The system provides warning to pedestrians and vehicles through the different color displays of the intelligent crosswalk. The results show that the proposed model, which synergistically couples vehicle speed, driver reaction time, road characteristic correlation coefficients, and the psychological impact of vehicle size and type on pedestrians, is safe and effective. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common gastrointestinal tumor with a poor prognosis, which is associated with poor differentiation of tumor cells. However, the potential value of cell differentiation-related molecules in predicting the benefit and prognosis of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) therapy remains unknown. Herein, to investigate the differentiation trajectory of HCC cells and their clinical significance, a differentiation-related gene prognostic index (DRGPI) based on HCC differentiation-related genes (HDRGs) was constructed to elucidate the immune characteristics and therapeutic benefits of ICI in the HCC subgroup defined by DRGPI. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and bulk RNA-seq data from four HCC samples were integrated for bioinformatics analysis. Then, PON1, ADH4, SQSTM1, HSP90AA1, and STMN1 were screened out to construct a DRGPI. More intriguingly, RT-qPCR validation of the expression of these genes yielded consistent results with the TCGA database. Next, the risk scoring (RS) constructed based on DRGPI suggested that the overall survival (OS) of the DRGPI-high patients was significantly worse than that of the DRGPI-low patients. A nomogram was constructed based on DRGPI-RS and clinical characteristics, which showed strong predictive performance and high accuracy. The comprehensive results indicated that a low DRGPI score was associated with low TP53 mutation rates, high CD8 T cell infiltration, and more benefit from ICI therapy. Homoplastically, the high DRGPI score reflected the opposite results. Taken together, our study highlights the significance of HCC cell differentiation in predicting prognosis, indicating immune characteristics, and understanding the therapeutic benefits of ICI, and suggests that DRGPI is a valuable prognostic biomarker for HCC. The production of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] is seriously threatened by various leaf-feeding insects, and wild soybean [Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.] has a greater resistance capacity and genetic diversity. In this study, a natural population consisting of 121 wild soybean accessions was used for detecting insect resistance genes. The larval weight (LW) of the common cutworm (CCW), the resistance level (RL) and the index of damaged leaf (IDL) were evaluated as resistance indicators to herbivores. An association synonymous SNP AX-94083016 located in the coding region of the respiratory burst oxidase gene GsRbohA1 was identified by genome-wide association study (GWAS) analyses. The overexpression of GsRbohA1 in soybean hairy roots enhanced resistance to CCW. One SNP in the promoter region cosegregated with AX-94083016 contributing to soybean resistance to CCW by altering GsRbohA1 gene expression and reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation. Two major haplotypes, GsRbohA1A and GsRbohA1G, were identified based on the SNP. The resistant haplotype GsRbohA1A predominates in wild soybeans, although it has been gradually lost in landraces and cultivars. The nucleotide diversity around GsRbohA1 is much lower in landraces and cultivars than in its ancestors. In conclusion, a new resistant haplotype, GsRbohA1A, was identified in wild soybean, which will be a valuable gene resource for soybean insect resistance breeding through introducing into improvement lines, and it offers a strategy for exploring resistance gene resources from its wild relatives. (1) Background: The glucocorticoid receptor (GR) plays a key role in lipid metabolism, but investigations of GR activation as a potential therapeutic approach have been hampered by a lack of selective agonists. Ginsenoside compound K (CK) is natural small molecule with a steroid-like structure that offers a variety of therapeutic benefits. Our study validates CK as a novel GR agonist for the treatment of obesity. (2) Methods: By using pulldown and RNA interference, we determined that CK binds to GR. The anti-obesity potential effects of CK were investigated in obese mice, including through whole-body energy homeostasis, glucose and insulin tolerance, and biochemical and proteomic analysis. Using chromatin immunoprecipitation, we identified GR binding sites upstream of lipase ATGL. (3) Results: We demonstrated that CK reduced the weight and blood lipids of mice more significantly than the drug Orlistat. Proteomics data showed that CK up-regulated autophagy regulatory proteins, enhanced fatty acid oxidation proteins, and decreased fatty acid synthesis proteins. CK induced lipophagy with the initial formation of the phagophore via AMPK/ULK1 activation. However, a blockade of autophagy did not disturb the increase in CK on lipase expression, suggesting that autophagy and lipase are independent pathways in the function of CK. The pulldown and siRNA experiments showed that GR is the critical target. After binding to GR, CK not only activated lipophagy, but also promoted the binding of GR to the ATGL promoter. As the core component of the cotton picker, the structural characteristics of the spindle directly affect not only its picking performance but also different components of the cotton picker. Therefore, in order to reveal the influence of different angle parameters of hook teeth on the performance of the spindle and the optimal hook tooth angle parameters, this study analyzes the working principle of the picking mechanism of the cotton picker and establishes the force balance equation for the process of picking cotton from the spindle. By analyzing the structural characteristics of the spindle, the best section shape of the spindle head is the equilateral triangle section. The spindle with different angle parameters was made by a metal 3D printer, and the testbed for the dynamic picking performance of the spindle was constructed. The single-factor test was carried out with tooth groove angle before the tooth angle and tooth inclination angle as experimental factors, and the rejection rate of seed cotton, picking time, and picking force as evaluation indexes. The results showed that the tooth groove angle and the tooth inclination angle were negatively correlated with the rejection rate of seed cotton (P < 0.01), and the tooth inclination angle was positively correlated with the picking time (p < 0.01). Further analysis shows that in order to reduce the ejection rate of seed cotton and reduce the picking time, the selection range of the tooth inclination angle should be 55~65°, and the large the tooth groove angle should be selected. Finally, the optimum hook angle parameters are determined as follows: tooth groove angle is 70° before the tooth angle is 89°, and the tooth inclination angle is 65°. The results are of practical significance to optimize the structure of picking hook tooth to improve the picking performance of the spindle and high efficiency of the cotton picker. As a key core component of cotton pickers, the spindle is prone to wear of the hook teeth. This research explores the wear characteristics of the spindle hook teeth of cotton pickers under different working areas. The sampled spindles were cut, the element composition and hardness of the spindle hook tooth coating and substrate were determined, the surface morphology of the spindle hook tooth was characterized, and its wear area and coating thickness were extracted. Results show that the main constituent elements of the coating and substrate are Cr and Fe, respectively, the hardness of the coating is about 1020 HV0.1, and the hardness of the substrate is 470~840 HV0.1. During the field operation, scratches appeared on the surface of the coating, the coating thickness layer gradually decreased, and the coating peeled off as the operating area increased. Afterward, scratches and oxidized particles appeared on the surface of the substrate, the wear rate accelerated, and the wear area gradually increased. The wear of the spindle hook teeth started to appear from the front and rear tooth tips up to the tooth edge, the back of the tooth, and the doffering edge, hence forming a long boot-shaped wear area. The excavation depth of a deep and large foundation pit of a composite support system is 25.5 m, the minimum clear distance from the main structure of the station is 10.6 m and the closest distance to the entrance and exit structure is only 3.6 m. Relying on this project, numerical simulation, field monitoring and other methods are used to study the deformation law of the self-supporting system, the ground settlement and the subway station under construction. Then, the influence of different support parameters on the deformation of the subway station and track is analyzed, and the internal relationship between the deformation value of the station and track and the support parameters is further discussed. The main work and achievements are as follows: (1) Through field measurement and analysis, the deformation history of the station and track in the excavation is studied. The obtained results show that the interbracing + pile–anchor composite support structure has better control over the deformation of adjacent stations and tracks. Comparing the simulated value of station and track deformation with the measured data, it is concluded that the simulated and measured deformation trends remain consistent, and the maximum deformation value corresponds to the middle position of the foundation pit. This confirms the rationality and reliability of the composite support system model. (2) The analysis of the influence of different support parameters on the maximum deformation value of the subway station and track shows that the deformation of the station and track is less affected by the pile diameter of the retaining pile and the size of the interbracing section. It is greatly affected by the embedding depth of the retaining pile and the number of support channels. It is suggested that the optimal parameters should be a pile diameter of 1.0 m, embedding depth of 8 m, four interbracings and an interbracing section of 1.0 m × 1.0 m. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Induction motors (IMs) are widely used in many manufacturing processes and industrial applications. The harsh work environment, long-time enduring, and overloads mean that it is subjected to broken rotor bar (BRB) faults. The vibration signal of IMs with BRB faults consists of the reliable modulation information used for fault diagnosis. Cyclostationary analysis has been found to be effective in identifying and extracting fault feature. The estimators of cyclic modulation spectrum (CMS) and fast spectral correlation (FSC) based on the short-time fourier transform (STFT) have higher cyclic frequency resolution, which has proven efficient in demodulating second order cyclostationary (CS2) signals. However, these two estimators have limitations of processing the maximum cyclic frequency αmax that is smaller than Fs/2 (Fs is the sampling frequency) according to Nyquist's Theorem. In addition, they have lower carrier frequency resolution due to the fixed window size used in STFT. In order to resolve the initial shortcomings of the CMS and FSC methods, in this paper, we extended the analysis of CMS algorithm based on the continuous wavelet transform (CWT), which enlarged the maximum cyclic frequency range to Fs/2 and provides higher carrier frequency resolution because the CWT has the advantage of multi-resolution analysis. The reliability and applicability of the proposed method for fault components localization were validated by CS2 simulation signals. Compared to CMS and FSC methods, the proposed approach shows better performance by analyzing vibration signals between healthy motor and faulty motor with one BRB fault under 0%, 20%, 40%, and 80% load conditions. Laser beams can fluctuate in four directions, which requires active compensation by a fast steering mirror (FSM) motion system. This paper deals with the design of four-degrees-of-freedom (DoF) compliant parallel manipulators, for responding to the requirements of the FSM. In order to simplify high-precision control in parallel manipulators, maximum kinematic decoupling is always desired. A constraint map method is used to propose the four required DoF with the consideration of maximum kinematic decoupling. A specific compliant mechanism is presented based on the constraint map, and its kinematics is estimated analytically. Finite element analysis demonstrates the desired qualitative motion and provides some initial quantitative analysis. A normalization-based compliance matrix is finally derived to verify and demonstrate the mobility of the system clearly. In a case study, the results of normalization-based compliance matrix modelling show that the diagonal entries corresponding to the four DoF directions are about 10 times larger than those corresponding to the two-constraint directions, validating the desired mobility. Integer ambiguity resolution is required to obtain precise coordinates for the global navigation satellite system (GNSS). Poorly observed data cause unfixed integer ambiguity and reduce the coordinate accuracy. Previous studies mostly used denoise filters and partial ambiguity resolution algorithms to address this problem. This study proposes a sequential ambiguity resolution method that includes a float solution substitution process and a double-difference (DD) iterative correction equation process. The float solution substitution process updates the initial float solution, while the DD iterative correction equation process is used to eliminate the residual biases. The satellite-selection experiment shows that the float solution substitution process is adequate to obtain a more accurate float solution. The iteration-correction experiment shows that the double-difference iterative correction equation process is feasible with an improvement in the ambiguity success rate from 28.4% to 96.2%. The superiority experiment shows significant improvement in the ambiguity success rate from 36.1% to 83.6% and a better baseline difference from about 0.1 m to 0.04 m. The prediction of landslide displacement is a challenging and essential task. It is thus very important to choose a suitable displacement prediction model. This paper develops a novel Attention Mechanism with Long Short Time Memory Neural Network (AMLSTM NN) model based on Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise (CEEMDAN) landslide displacement prediction. The CEEMDAN method is implemented to ingest landslide Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) time series. The AMLSTM algorithm is then used to realize prediction work, jointly with multiple impact factors. The Baishuihe landslide is adopted to illustrate the capabilities of the model. The displacement of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) station contains the information of surface elastic deformation caused by the variation of land water reserves. This paper selects the long-term coordinate series data of 671 International GNSS Service (IGS) reference stations distributed globally under the framework of World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84) from 2000 to 2021. Different noise model combinations are used for noise analysis, and the optimal noise model for each station before and after hydrologic loading correction is calculated. The results show that the noise models of global IGS reference stations are diverse, and each component has different optimal noise model characteristics, mainly white noise + flicker noise (WN+FN), generalized Gauss–Markov noise (GGM) and white noise + power law noise (WN+PL). Through specific analysis between the optimal noise model and the time series velocity of the station, it is found that the maximum influence value of the vertical velocity can reach 1.8 mm when hydrological loading is considered. Different complex noise models also have a certain influence on the linear velocity and velocity uncertainty of the station. Among them, the influence of white noise + random walking noise is relatively obvious, and its maximum influence value in the elevation direction can reach over 2 mm/year. When studying the impact of hydrological loading correction on the periodicity of the coordinate series, it is concluded whether the hydrological loading is calculated or not, and the GNSS long-term coordinate series has obvious annual and semi-annual amplitude changes, which are most obvious in the vertical direction, up to 16.48 mm. In this paper, the interaction of a broadband Rayleigh wave generated by a laser and an artificial rectangular notch is analyzed theoretically and experimentally. For the theoretical analysis, a Gaussian function is adopted to analyze the modulation of notch depth on the frequency spectrum via reflection and transmission coefficients. By the finite element method, the Rayleigh wave generated by pulsed laser beam irradiation and its scattering waves at cracks are calculated. A curve with a slope close to 4 fitted by crack depth and critical wavelength of the threshold phenomenon is obtained by the wavelet transform and Parseval's theorem according to simulated and experimental results. Based on this relationship, the critical frequency at which the threshold phenomenon happens due to energy transformation of transmission/reflection Rayleigh waves is adopted to determine the size of sub-wavelength surface crack. The experimental results of artificial notch depth estimation on aluminum alloy specimens consistent with theoretical analysis validates the usefulness of the critical frequency method based on a broadband Rayleigh wave generated by laser ultrasonic. In order to investigate the effect of different loading models on the nonlinear variations in Global Positioning System (GPS) height time series, the characteristics of annual signals (amplitude and phase) of GPS time series, loading series from Deutsche GeoForschungsZentrum, Germany (GFZ) and School and Observatory of Earth Sciences, France (EOST) at 633 global GPS stations are processed and analyzed. The change characteristics of the root mean square (RMS) reduction rate, annual amplitude and phase of GPS time series after environmental loading corrections (ELCs) are then detected. Results show that ELCs have a positive effect on the reduction in the nonlinear deformation contained in most GPS stations around the world. RMS reduction rates are positive at 82.6% stations after GFZ correction and 87.4% after EOST correction, and the average reduction rates of all stations are 10.6% and 15.4%, respectively. As for the environmental loading series from GFZ and EOST, their average annual amplitudes are 2.7 and 3.1 mm, which explains ~40% annual amplitude of GPS height time series (7.2 mm). Further analysis of some specific stations indicates that the annual phase difference between GPS height time series and the environmental loading series is an important reason that affects the reduction rates of the RMS and annual amplitude. The linear relationship between the annual phase difference and the annual amplitude reduction rate is significant. The linear fitting results show that when there is no annual phase difference between GPS and loading series, the reduction rates of the RMS and annual amplitude will increase to the maximum of 15.6% and 41.6% for GFZ, and 22.0% and 46.6% for EOST. Self-assembled strategy has been proven to be a promising vista in constructing organized low-dimensional nanostructures with molecular precision and versatile functionalities on solid surfaces. Herein, we investigate by a combination of scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and dispersion-corrected density functional theory (DFT), the adsorption of tetracene molecules on the silver substrate and the mechanism mediating the self-assembly on Ag(110). As expected, ordered domain is formed on Ag(110) after adsorption with adjacent molecules being imaged with alternating bright or dim pattern regularly. While such behavior has been assigned previously to the difference of molecular adsorption height, herein, it is possible to investigate essentially the mechanism leading to the periodic alternation of brightness and dimness for tetracene adsorbed on Ag(110) thanks to the consideration of Van der Waals (vdW) dispersion force. It is demonstrated that the adsorption height in fact is same for both bright and dim molecules, while the adsorption site and the corresponding interfacial charge transfer play an important role in the formation of such pattern. Our report reveals that vdW dispersion interaction is crucial to appropriately describe the adsorption of tetracene on the silver substrate, and the formation of delicate molecular architectures on metal surfaces might also offers a promising approach towards molecular electronics. Broken rotor bar (BRB) faults are one of the most common faults in induction motors (IM). One or more broken bars can reduce the performance and efficiency of the IM and hence waste the electrical power and decrease the reliability of the whole mechanical system. This paper proposes an effective fault diagnosis method using the Teager–Kaiser energy operator (TKEO) for BRB faults detection based on the motor current signal analysis (MCSA). The TKEO is investigated and applied to remove the main supply component of the motor current for accurate fault feature extraction, especially for an IM operating at low load with low slip. Through sensing the estimation of the instantaneous amplitude (IA) and instantaneous frequency (IF) of the motor current signal using TKEO, the fault characteristic frequencies can be enhanced and extracted for the accurate detection of BRB fault severities under different operating conditions. The proposed method has been validated by simulation and experimental studies that tested the IMs with different BRB fault severities to consider the effectiveness of the proposed method. The obtained results are compared with those obtained using the conventional envelope analysis methods and showed that the proposed method provides more accurate fault diagnosis results and can distinguish the BRB fault types and severities effectively, especially for operating conditions with low loads. Deformation monitoring of engineering structures using the advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) has attracted research interest due to its high-precision, constant availability and global coverage. However, GNSS application requires precise coordinates of points of interest through quick and reliable resolution of integer ambiguities in carrier phase measurements. Conventional integer ambiguity resolution algorithms have been extensively researched indeed in the past few decades, although the application of GNSS to structural health monitoring is still limited. In particular, known a priori information related to the structure of a body of interest is not normally considered. This study proposes a composite strategy that incorporates modified least-squares ambiguity decorrelation adjustment (MLAMBDA) method with priori information of the structural deformation. Data from the observation sites of Baishazhou Bridge are used to test method performance. Compared to MLAMBDA methods that do not consider priori information, the ambiguity success rate (ASR) improves by 20% for global navigation satellite system (GLONASS) and 10% for Multi-GNSS, while running time is reduced by 60 s for a single system and 180 s for Multi-GNSS system. Experimental results of Teaching Experiment Building indicate that our constrained MLAMBDA method improves positioning accuracy and meets the requirements of structural health monitoring, suggesting that the proposed strategy presents an improved integer ambiguity resolution algorithm. Induction motors (IMs) play an essential role in the field of various industrial applications. Long-time service and tough working situations make IMs become prone to a broken rotor bar (BRB) that is one of the major causes of IMs faults. Hence, the continuous condition monitoring of BRB faults demands a computationally efficient and accurate signal diagnosis technique. The advantage of high reliability and wide applicability in condition monitoring and fault diagnosis based on vibration signature analysis results in an improved cyclic modulation spectrum (CMS), which is one of the cyclic spectral analysis algorithms. CMS is proposed in this paper for the detection and identification of BRB faults in IMs at a steady-state operation based on a vibration signature analysis. The application of CMS is based on the short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and the improved CMS approach is attributed to the optimization of STFT. The optimal window is selected to improve the accuracy for identifying the BRB fault types and severities. The appropriate window length and step size are optimized based on the selected window function to receive a better calculation benefit through simulation and experimental analysis. Compared to other estimators, the improved CMS method provides better fault detectability results by analyzing vertical vibration signatures of a healthy motor, and damaged motors with 1 BRB and 2 BRBs under 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% load conditions. Both synthetic and experimental investigations demonstrate the proposed methodology can significantly reduce computational costs and identify the BRB fault types and severities effectively. There is always a need to extract more accurate regional common mode component (CMC) series from coordinate time series of Global Positioning System (GPS) stations, which would be of great benefit to describe the deformation features of the Earth's surface with more reliability. For this purpose, this paper combines all 11 International Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Service (IGS) stations in China with over 70 stations selected from the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC) to compute CMC series of IGS stations by using a principal component analysis (PCA) method under cases of one whole region and eight sub-regions. The comparison results show that the percentage of first-order principal component (PC1) in North, East and Up components increase by 10.8%, 16.1% and 25.1%, respectively, after dividing the whole China region into eight sub-regions. Meanwhile, Root Mean Square (RMS) reduction rates of residual series that have removed CMC also improve obviously after partitioning. In addition, we compute displacements of these IGS stations caused by environmental loadings (including atmospheric pressure loading, non-tidal oceanic loading and hydrological loading) to analyze their contributions to the non-linear variation in GPS coordinate time series. The comparison result shows that the method we raise, PCA filtering in sub-regions, performs better than the environmental loading corrections (ELCs) in improving the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of GPS coordinate time series. This paper raises new criteria for selecting appropriate CMONOC stations around IGS stations when computing sub-regional CMC, involving three criteria of interstation distance, geology and self-condition of stations themselves. A friction–inertial-based rotary motor driven by shear piezoelectric actuators (SPAs) is proposed in this paper, which possesses many superior features, including high resolution, compact size, large load-capacity, and low cost. In order to eliminate the step loss and increase the step size when an external load is applied, the power-function-shape driving signal was used to actuate the rotary motor. According to the step characteristics under this driving signal, two motion modes were observed and defined, namely the stick-shoot motion mode and the stick-slip-shoot motion mode. The former motion mode can realize a large step size while the later one cannot due to the slipping during the rising phase. After analyzing the results from the numerical simulation and the experiment study, it was found that the motion performance of the motor is closely related to the preload and the base number of the driving signal rather than the size of SPAs, which means the motor can be further downsized according to its actual requirements. Symmetry enables excellent motion performance of compliant mechanisms, such as minimized parasitic motion, reduced cross-axis coupling, mitigated buckling, and decreased thermal sensitivity. However, most existing symmetric compliant mechanisms are heavily over-constrained due to the fact that they are usually obtained by directly adding over-constraints to the associated non-symmetric compliant mechanisms. Therefore, existing symmetric compliant mechanisms usually have relatively complex structures and relatively large actuation stiffness. This paper presents a position-space-based approach to the design of symmetric compliant mechanisms. Using this position-space-based approach, a non-symmetric compliant mechanism can be reconfigured into a symmetric compliant mechanism by rearranging the compliant modules and adding minimal over-constraints. A symmetric spatial translational compliant parallel mechanism (symmetric XYZ compliant parallel mechanism (CPM)) is designed using the position-space-based design approach in this paper. Furthermore, the actuation forces of the symmetric XYZ CPM are nonlinearly and analytically modelled, which are represented by the given primary translations and the geometrical parameters. The maximum difference, between the nonlinear analytical results and the nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) results, is less than 2.58%. Additionally, a physical prototype of the symmetric XYZ CPM is fabricated, and the desirable motion characteristics such as minimized cross-axis coupling are also verified by FEA simulations and experimental testing. Fusarium pseudograminearum is one of the major fungal pathogens that cause Fusarium crown rot (FCR) worldwide and can lead to a substantially reduced grain yield and quality. Transcription factors play an important role in regulating growth and pathogenicity in plant pathogens. In this study, we identified a putative Zn(II) 2 Cys 6 fungal-type domain-containing transcription factor and named it FpUme18. The expression of FpUME18 was induced during the infection of wheat by F. pseudograminearum . The ΔFpume18 deletion mutant showed defects in growth, conidial production, and conidial germination. In the responses to the cell wall, salt and oxidative stresses, the ΔFpume18 mutant inhibited the rate of mycelial growth at a higher rate compared with the wild type. The staining of conidia and mycelia with lipophilic dye FM4-64 revealed a delay in endocytosis when FpUME18 was deleted. FpUME18 also positively regulated the expression of phospholipid-related synthesis genes. The deletion of FpUME18 attenuated the pathogenicity of wheat coleoptiles. FpUME18 also participated in the production of the DON toxin by regulating the expression of TRI genes. Collectively, FpUme18 is required for vegetative growth, conidiation, stress response, endocytosis, and full virulence in F. pseudograminearum .
