This study examined the thermal reflective properties of composite inorganic coatings applied to various wall types. It evaluated the influence of these coatings on the thermal insulation and reflectivity of the walls. The findings indicate that coating application markedly enhances a wall's thermal insulation capabilities and increases its heat flux reflection ratio. These results offer crucial theoretical backing and practical guidance for the future use of coating technologies in construction. By refining the coating formulations and application processes, the thermal insulation properties of walls can be further enhanced, thus making a significant contribution to building energy efficiency and environmental protection. Raman spectroscopy for rapid identification of foodborne pathogens based on phenotype has attracted increasing attention, and the reliability of the Raman fingerprint database through genotypic determination is crucial. In the research, the classification model of four foodborne pathogens was established based on t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding (t-SNE) and support vector machine (SVM); the recognition accuracy was 97.04%. The target bacteria named by the model were ejected through Raman-activated cell ejection (RACE), and then single-cell genomic DNA was amplified for species analysis. The accuracy of correct matches between the predicted phenotype and the actual genotype of the target cells was at least 83.3%. Furthermore, all anticipant sequencing results brought into correspondence with the species were predicted through the model. In sum, the Raman fingerprint database based on Raman spectroscopy combined with machine learning was reliable and promising in the field of rapid detection of foodborne pathogens. Current challenges in visible and infrared image fusion include color information distortion, texture detail loss, and target edge blur. To address these issues, a fusion algorithm based on double-domain transform filter and nonlinear contrast transform feature extraction (DDCTFuse) is proposed. First, for the problem of incomplete detail extraction that exists in the traditional transform domain image decomposition, an adaptive high-pass filter is proposed to decompose images into high-frequency and low-frequency portions. Second, in order to address the issue of fuzzy fusion target caused by contrast loss during the fusion process, a novel feature extraction algorithm is devised based on a novel nonlinear transform function. Finally, the fusion results are optimized and color-corrected by our proposed spatial-domain logical filter, in order to solve the color loss and edge blur generated in the fusion process. To validate the benefits of the proposed algorithm, nine classical algorithms are compared on the LLVIP, MSRS, INO, and Roadscene datasets. The results of these experiments indicate that the proposed fusion algorithm exhibits distinct targets, provides comprehensive scene information, and offers significant image contrast. The soil-borne pathogen Plasmodiophora brassicae is the causal agent of clubroot, a major disease in Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis). The host's resistance genes often confer immunity to only specific pathotypes and may be rapidly overcome. Identification of novel clubroot resistance (CR) from germplasm sources is necessary. In this study, Bap246 was tested by being crossed with different highly susceptible B. rapa materials and showed recessive resistance to clubroot. An F2 population derived from Bap246 × Bac1344 was used to locate the resistance Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) by Bulk Segregant Analysis Sequencing (BSA-Seq) and QTL mapping methods. Two QTL on chromosomes A01 (4.67–6.06 Mb) and A08 (10.42–11.43 Mb) were found and named Cr4Ba1.1 and Cr4Ba8.1, respectively. Fifteen and eleven SNP/InDel markers were used to narrow the target regions in the larger F2 population to 4.67–5.17 Mb (A01) and 10.70–10.84 Mb (A08), with 85 and 19 candidate genes, respectively. The phenotypic variation explained (PVE) of the two QTL were 30.97% and 8.65%, respectively. Combined with gene annotation, mutation site analysis, and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) analysis, one candidate gene in A08 was identified, namely Bra020861. And an insertion and deletion (InDel) marker (co-segregated) named Crr1-196 was developed based on the gene sequence. Bra013275, Bra013299, Bra013336, Bra013339, Bra013341, and Bra013357 in A01 were the candidate genes that may confer clubroot resistance in Chinese cabbage. The purple-leaf phenotype in pak choi is due to the accumulation of anthocyanin. The main regulated genes are unclear. The gene controlling the purple-leaf phenotype was mapped on A03 using BSA-seq, but the candidate interval was not further narrowed with InDel markers. Based on our previous study, we hypothesized that the candidate gene that regulates purple leaves in pak choi may also be the Dark_Pur gene from B. juncea. Using the Dark_Pur-1 marker to identify P1, P2, F1, and F2, it was confirmed that the purple trait in purple-leaf pak choi was controlled by the Dark_Pur gene from B. juncea through distant hybridization. A DNA segment of approximately 514 Kb containing the Dark_Pur gene was reintroduced into pak choi from B. juncea. Meanwhile, a new purple pak choi germplasm line was created with green pak choi × purple B. juncea via distant hybridization, which proved that distant hybridization is an effective method for creating new germplasms. Furthermore, the purple-leaf phenotypes of 20 pak choi varieties were identified, and the purple-leaf traits of all lines were derived from B. juncea via distant hybridization. At present, few studies have focused on the background of the purple trait in pak choi; however, in this study, our results suggest that there is a high probability that the purple trait in pak choi may be completely derived from purple B. juncea via distant hybridization. Vernalization plays a crucial role in the flowering and yield of Chinese cabbage, a process intricately influenced by long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). Our research focused on lncFLC1, lncFLC2a, and lncFLC2b, which emerged as key players in this process. These lncRNAs exhibited an inverse expression pattern to the flowering repressor genes FLOWERING LOCUS C 1 (BrFLC1) and FLOWERING LOCUS C 2 (BrFLC2) during vernalization, suggesting a complex regulatory mechanism. Notably, their expression in the shoot apex and leaves was confirmed through in fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). Furthermore, when these lncRNAs were overexpressed in Arabidopsis, a noticeable acceleration in flowering was observed, unveiling functional similarities to Arabidopsis's COLD ASSISTED INTRONIC NONCODING RNA (COOLAIR). This resemblance suggests a potentially conserved regulatory mechanism across species. Maize is one of the major crops that has demonstrated success in the utilization of heterosis. Developing high-yield hybrids is a crucial part of plant breeding to secure global food demand. In this study, we conducted a genome-wide association study (GWAS) for 10 agronomic traits using a typical breeder population comprised 442 single-cross hybrids by evaluating additive, dominance, and epistatic effects. A total of 49 significant single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and 69 significant pairs of epistasis were identified, explaining 26.2% to 64.3% of the phenotypic variation across the 10 traits. The enrichment of favorable genotypes is significantly correlated to the corresponding phenotype. In the confident region of the associated site, 532 protein-coding genes were discovered. Among these genes, the Zm00001d044211 candidate gene was found to negatively regulate starch synthesis and potentially impact yield. This typical breeding population provided a valuable resource for dissecting the genetic architecture of yield-related traits. We proposed a novel mating strategy to increase the GWAS efficiency without utilizing more resources. Finally, we analyzed the enrichment of favorable alleles in the Shaan A and Shaan B groups, as well as in each inbred line. Our breeding practice led to consistent results. Drought stress can seriously affect the yield and quality of wheat (Triticum aestivum). So far, although few wheat heat shock transcription factors (Hsfs) have been found to be involved in the stress response, the biological functions of them, especially the members of the HsfC (heat shock transcription factor C) subclass, remain largely unknown. Here, we identified a class C encoding gene, TaHsfC3-4, based on our previous omics data and analyzed its biological function in transgenic plants. TaHsfC3-4 encodes a protein containing 274 amino acids and shows the basic characteristics of the HsfC class. Gene expression profiles revealed that TaHsfC3-4 was constitutively expressed in many tissues of wheat and was induced during seed maturation. TaHsfC3-4 could be upregulated by PEG and abscisic acid (ABA), suggesting that this Hsf may be involved in the regulation pathway depending on ABA in drought resistance. Further results represented that TaHsfC3-4 was localized in the nucleus but had no transcriptional activation activity. Notably, overexpression of TaHsfC3-4 in Arabidopsis thaliana pyr1pyl1pyl2pyl4 (pyr1pyl124) quadruple mutant plants complemented the ABA-hyposensitive phenotypes of the quadruple mutant including cotyledon greening, root elongation, seedling growth, and increased tolerance to drought, indicating positive roles of TaHsfC3-4 in the ABA signaling pathway and drought tolerance. Furthermore, we identified TaHsfA2-11 as a TaHsfC3-4-interacting protein by yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) screening. The experimental data show that TaHsfC3-4 can indeed interact with TaHsfA2-11 in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, transgenic Arabidopsis TaHsfA2-11 overexpression lines exhibited enhanced drought tolerance, too. The massive release of mercury undermines environmental sustainability, and with the official entry into force of the Minamata Convention, it is urgent to strengthen the control of mercury pollution. The effectiveness of activated coke (AC) in removing elemental mercury (Hg0) from high temperatures and sulfur nonferrous smelting flue gas before acid production was studied. Experimental results indicated that the optimal temperature for Hg0 adsorption by AC was 150 °C. And the adsorption of Hg0 by AC was predominantly attributed to physical adsorption. Flue gas components (SO2 and O2) impact studies indicated that O2 did not significantly affect Hg0 adsorption compared to pure N2. Conversely, SO2 suppressed the adsorption capacity, while the simultaneous presence of SO2 and O2 exhibited a synergistic effect in facilitating the removal of Hg0. The characterization results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) indicated that the SO2 molecule favored to anchor at the Oα site, leading to the formation of SO3. This subsequently oxidized the mercury to HgSO4 instead of HgO. The study demonstrates that cheap and easily accessible AC applications in the adsorption of mercury technology may help improve the sustainability of the circular economy and positively impact various environmental aspects. For sparse system identification, a memory-improved proportionate affine projection sign algorithm with a simplified, generalized correntropy induced metric (SGCI-M-IPAPSA) has good filtering performance. However, the SGCI-M-IPAPSA is based on a fixed step size and is not always the best choice. To overcome the limitation of a fixed step size in filtering precision and convergence speed under non-Gaussian impulsive interferences, in this paper, we apply the combined-step-size idea and a variable-step-size method based on the mean-square deviation to the SGCI-M-IPAPSA, respectively, and propose two new robust algorithms to enhance the filtering performance of the SGCI-M-IPAPSA. In addition, by combining the combined-step-size and proposed variable-step-size methods, we propose a fresh combined variable-step-size way and apply it to the SGCI-M-IPAPSA. The convergence of the proposed algorithms is also elaborated, and a conditional decision on the mean-square error is used to cope with abrupt changes. The better performances of the proposed algorithms than the conventional SGCI-M-IPAPSA in terms of the filtering accuracy and convergence rate are demonstrated with non-Gaussian impulsive interferences for sparse system identification, abrupt changes and colored inputs. In order to make the identification and utilization of nutritional quality components in Chinese cabbage more predictive, to obtain ideal raw materials, and to help screen functional Chinese cabbage varieties that have high nutritional value, we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the nutritional quality of different Chinese cabbage varieties. In this study, 17 nutritional quality indexes of 35 Chinese cabbage varieties, including crude fiber (CF), crude protein (CP), vitamin C (VC), glucose (Glc), fructose (Fru), malic acid (MA), citric acid (CA), oxalic acid (OA), total amino acid (TAA) and CA, K, Mg, P, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn, were analyzed using diversity analysis, correlation analysis, principal component analysis, membership function analysis and cluster analysis. The results showed that there were different degrees of variation in the 17 nutritional quality indexes, and the coefficients of variation ranged from 11.45% to 91.47%. The correlation analysis found that there were significant or extremely significant correlations between different nutrient elements of Chinese cabbage, which indicated that principal component analysis could be carried out, and the comprehensive score (D value) of different materials could be obtained using principal component analysis and the membership function method. The nutritional quality of Chinese cabbage was classified into five grades by cluster analysis. Finally, a mathematical model for evaluating the nutritional quality of Chinese cabbage was established using the D value and multiple stepwise regression methods, and 10 key indexes were selected from the 17 indexes, which could be used for the rapid identification of the nutritional quality of Chinese cabbage. Given the widespread use of wood-based materials and that these materials are often damaged, an abundance of materials have been developed to repair and restore wood. Most of these materials treat the binder and filler as a single system; however, there is yet to be a system that has all the desired properties of an ideal wood-repair composite. Aiming for the goal of creating an ideal wood filler, this study proposed a wood-repair composite that combined epoxy resins, polyether amines, and poplar wood fibers. The materials were selected to mimic the hydrophobicity of lotus leaves and the strong adhesion of mussel proteins. The properties of the designed wood composites were characterized by various testing methods. The prepared fillers were then used to repair damaged poplar wood panels. The mechanical properties of the wood sample repaired with the optimal filler formulation reached 97% of those of the undamaged wood. Ogura cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) is one of the important methods for hybrid seed production in cruciferous crops. The lack of a restorer of fertility gene (Rfo) in Brassica rapa L. restricts the development and utilization of its germplasm resources. In this research, Brassica napus with the Rfo gene was used to restore the fertility of Ogura CMS B. rapa with the golden heart trait. Through the distant cross of two B. rapa and four B. napus, six interspecific hybrid combinations received F1 seeds. The six combinations were different in seed receiving. By morphological observation and molecular marker-assisted selection (MAS), in F1, individuals containing the Rfo gene all appeared fertile, while those without it remained male-sterile. The pollen viability of the fertile individuals was measured, and the fertile lines of the six interspecific hybrid combinations were different (40.68–80.49%). Three individuals (containing both Rfo and GOLDEN genes) with the highest pollen vitality (≥60%) were backcrossed with fertile cytoplasmic B. rapa, resulting in a total of 800 plants. Based on the MAS, a total of 144 plants with GOLDEN but no Rfo were screened (18%). Moreover, through morphological investigation, one individual with normal cytoplasm, stable fertility but without the restoring gene Rfo, the GOLDEN gene, and morphological characteristics similar to those of B. rapa was obtained. The idea of variable step-size was introduced into the Hybrid Affine Projection Algorithm (H-APA) and we propose two variable step size algorithms based on H-APA, which are called the Variable Step-Size Hybrid Affine Projection Algorithm (VSS-H-APA) and the Modified Variable Step-Size Hybrid Affine Projection Algorithm (MVSS-H-APA). These are two variable-step algorithms aim to further improve the robust performance and convergence speed of H-APA under non-Gaussian noise. This allows for faster convergence while maintaining stability. The MVSS-H-APA goes further than VSS-H-APA to estimate the noise in order to achieve better convergence performance. Anthropogenic disturbance, such as nitrogen (N) fertilization and mowing, is constantly changing the function and structure of grassland ecosystems during past years and will continue to affect the sustainability of arid and semiarid grassland in the future. However, how and whether the different N addition levels and the frequency of N addition, as well as the occurrence of mowing, affect the key processes of N cycling is still unclear. We designed a field experiment with five levels of N addition (0, 2, 10, 20, and 50 g N m−2 yr−1), two types of N addition frequencies (twice a year added in June/November and monthly addition), and mowing treatment in a typical grassland of northern China. The results showed that higher N addition and mowing interactively improved net primary productivity (NPP), including aboveground and belowground biomass, while different N addition frequency had no significant effects on NPP. Different N addition levels significantly improved gross ammonification (GA) and nitrification (GN) rates, which positively correlated to aboveground net primary productivity (ANPP). However, the effect of N addition frequency was differentiated with N addition levels, the highest N addition level (50 g N m−2 yr−1) with lower frequency (twice a year) significantly increased GA and GN rates. Mowing significantly increased the GA rate but decreased the GN rate both under the highest N addition level (50 g N m−2 yr−1) and lower N addition frequency (twice a year), which could improve N turnover by stimulating plant and microbial activity. However, a long-term study of the effects of N enrichment and mowing on N turnover will be needed for understanding the mechanisms by which nutrient cycling occurs in typical grassland ecosystems under global change scenarios. The intestine is considered to be a vital digestive organ to absorb nutrients and is the largest immune organ, while numerous microorganisms coexist with the host. It is well known that the complex interactions between the gut microbiota and the host's immune system inevitably affect the function of other organs, creating an "axis" between them. During the past few years, a new technique based mainly on microfluidics and cell biology has been developed to emulate the structure, function, and microenvironment of the human gut, called the "gut-on-chip". This microfluidic chip provides insight into key aspects of gut function in health and disease, such as the gut–brain axis, gut–liver axis, gut–kidney axis, and gut–lung axis. In this review, we first describe the basic theory of the gut axis and the various composition and parameter monitoring of the gut microarray systems, as well as summarize the development and emerging advances in the gut–organ-on-chip, with a focus on the host-gut flora and nutrient metabolism, and highlight their role in pathophysiological studies. Background: In acute myocardial infarction (AMI), acute hepatic injury is an independent risk factor for prognosis and is associated with complex coagulation dynamics. This study aims to determine the interaction between acute hepatic injury and coagulation dysfunction on outcomes in AMI patients. Methods: The Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC-III) database was used to identify AMI patients who underwent liver function testing within 24 h of admission. After ruling out previous hepatic injury, patients were divided into the hepatic injury group and the nonhepatic injury group based on whether the alanine transaminase (ALT) level at admission was >3 times the upper limit of normal (ULN). The primary outcome was intensive care unit (ICU) mortality. Results: Among 703 AMI patients (67.994% male, median age 65.139 years (55.757–76.859)), acute hepatic injury occurred in 15.220% (n = 107). Compared with the nonhepatic injury group, patients with hepatic injury had a higher Elixhauser comorbidity index (ECI) score (12 (6–18) vs. 7 (1–12), p < 0.001) and more severe coagulation dysfunction (85.047% vs. 68.960%, p < 0.001). In addition, acute hepatic injury was associated with increased in-hospital mortality (odds ratio (OR) = 3.906; 95% CI: 2.053–7.433; p < 0.001), ICU mortality (OR = 4.866; 95% CI: 2.489–9.514; p < 0.001), 28-day mortality (OR = 4.129; 95% CI: 2.215–7.695; p < 0.001) and 90-day mortality (OR = 3.407; 95% CI: 1.883–6.165; p < 0.001) only in patients with coagulation disorder but not with normal coagulation. Unlike patients with coagulation disorder and normal liver, patients with both coagulation disorder and acute hepatic injury had greater odds of ICU mortality (OR = 8.565; 95% CI: 3.467–21.160; p < 0.001) than those with normal coagulation. An efficient multi-objective optimization method of temperature and stress for a microsystem based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) was established, which is used to map the relationship between through-silicon via (TSV) structural design parameters and performance objectives in the microsystem, and complete optimization temperature, stress and thermal expansion deformation efficiently. The relationship between the design and performance parameters is obtained by a finite element method (FEM) simulation model. The neural network is built and trained in order to understand the mapping relationship. Then, the design parameters are iteratively optimized using the PSO algorithm, and the FEM results are used to verify the efficiency and reliability of the optimization methods. When the optimization target of peak temperature, bump temperature, TSV temperature, maximum stress and maximum thermal deformation are set as 100 °C, 55 °C, 35 °C, 180 Mpa and 12 μm, the optimization results are as follows: the peak temperature is 97.90 °C, the bump temperature is 56.01 °C, the TSV temperature is 31.52 °C, the maximum stress is 247.4 Mpa and the maximum expansion deformation is 11.14 μm. The corresponding TSV structure design parameters are as follows: the radius of TSV is 10.28 μm, the pitch is 65 μm and the thickness of SiO2 is 0.83 μm. The error between the optimization result and the target temperature is 2.1%, 1.8%, 9.9%, 37.4% and 7.2% respectively. The PSO method has been verified by regression analysis, and the difference between the temperature and deformation optimization results of the FEM method is not more than 3%. The stress error has been analyzed, and the reliability of the developed method has been verified. While ensuring the accuracy of the results, the proposed optimization method reduces the time consumption of a single simulation from 2 h to 70 s, saves a lot of time and human resources, greatly improves the efficiency of the optimization design of microsystems, and has great significance for the development of microsystems. For social animals, a moderate group size is greatly important to maintain their reproductive success. However, the underlying neurobiological mechanism of group size on behavior and reproduction has rarely been investigated. In this study, we examined the effects of group size (1, 2, 4 pairs of adult male and female voles raised per cage) on behavior and reproduction. Meanwhile, the mRNA expression of stress and reproduction response-related genes in male brains was detected. We found that Brandt's voles (Lasiopodomys brandtii) in the large-sized group fight more severely than those in the small-sized group. Meanwhile, male voles were more anxious than females. The average number of embryos and litters per female in the medium-sized group was significantly higher than that of large-sized group. In male voles, stress- or reproduction-response mRNA expressions were more related to final group size or final density due to death caused by fighting. Our results indicated that a moderate group size was beneficial to the reproductive output of Brandt's voles. High temperature has severely affected plant growth and development, resulting in reduced production of crops worldwide, especially wheat. Alternative splicing (AS), a crucial post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism, is involved in the growth and development of eukaryotes and the adaptation to environmental changes. Previous transcriptome data suggested that heat shock transcription factor (Hsf) TaHsfA2-7 may form different transcripts by AS. However, it remains unclear whether this post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism of TaHsfA2-7 is related to thermotolerance in wheat (Triticum aestivum). Here, we identified a novel splice variant, TaHsfA2-7-AS, which was induced by high temperature and played a positive role in thermotolerance regulation in wheat. Moreover, TaHsfA2-7-AS is predicted to encode a small truncated TaHsfA2-7 isoform, retaining only part of the DNA-binding domain (DBD). TaHsfA2-7-AS is constitutively expressed in various tissues of wheat. Notably, the expression level of TaHsfA2-7-AS is significantly up-regulated by heat shock (HS) during flowering and grain-filling stages in wheat. Further studies showed that TaHsfA2-7-AS was localized in the nucleus but lacked transcriptional activation activity. Ectopic expression of TaHsfA2-7-AS in yeast exhibited improved thermotolerance. Compared to non-transgenic plants, overexpression of TaHsfA2-7-AS in Arabidopsis results in enhanced tolerance to heat stress. Simultaneously, we also found that TaHsfA1 is directly involved in the transcriptional regulation of TaHsfA2-7 and TaHsfA2-7-AS. Three different pathways for the atomic iodine plus water trimer reaction I + (H2O)3 → HI + (H2O)2OH were preliminarily examined by the DFT-MPW1K method. Related to previous predictions for the F/Cl/Br + (H2O)3 reactions, three pathways for the I + (H2O)3 reaction are linked in terms of geometry and energetics. To legitimize the results, the "gold standard" CCSD(T) method was employed to investigate the lowest-lying pathway with the correlation-consistent polarized valence basis set up to cc-pVQZ(-PP). According to the CCSD(T)/cc-pVQZ(-PP)//CCSD(T)/cc-pVTZ(-PP) results, the I + (H2O)3 → HI + (H2O)2OH reaction is predicted to be endothermic by 47.0 kcal mol−1. The submerged transition state is predicted to lie 43.7 kcal mol−1 above the separated reactants. The I···(H2O)3 entrance complex lies below the separated reactants by 4.1 kcal mol−1, and spin-orbit coupling has a significant impact on this dissociation energy. The HI···(H2O)2OH exit complex is bound by 4.3 kcal mol−1 in relation to the separated products. Compared with simpler I + (H2O)2 and I + H2O reactions, the I + (H2O)3 reaction is energetically between them in general. It is speculated that the reaction between the iodine atom and the larger water clusters may be energetically analogous to the I + (H2O)3 reaction. The iodine reaction I + (H2O)3 is connected with the analogous valence isoelectronic bromine/chlorine reactions Br/Cl + (H2O)3 but much different from the F + (H2O)3 reaction. Reliable detection and quantification of antibiotic residues in food using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy remain challenging, since the intensities of SERS signals are vulnerable to matrix and experimental factors. In this work, a ratiometric SERS aptasensor using 6-Carboxyl-X-Rhodamine (ROX)-labeled aptamers and 4-mercaptobenzonitrile (4-MBN)-functionalized gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) as SERS probes was established for the reliable and rapid detection and quantification of enrofloxacin. In the presence of enrofloxacin, the conformational transform of aptamers took place, and the distance between ROX and Au NP increased, which resulted in a decrease in the SERS signal intensity of ROX. Meanwhile, the intensity of the SERS signal of 4-MBN was used as an internal standard. Reliable determination of enrofloxacin was realized using the ratio of the SERS signal intensities of ROX to 4-MBN. Under optimal conditions, the developed ratiometric SERS aptasensor provided a wide linear range from 5 nM to 1 µM, with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.98 and a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.12 nM (0.043 ppb). In addition, the developed ratiometric SERS aptasensor was successfully applied for the determination of enrofloxacin in fish and chicken meat, with recovery values of 93.6–112.0%. Therefore, the established ratiometric SERS aptasensor is sensitive, reliable, time-efficient, and has the potential to be applied in the on-site detection of enrofloxacin in complex matrices. Genotype-by-environment interaction (G-by-E) is a common but potentially problematic phenomenon in plant breeding. In this study, we investigated the genotypic performance and two measures of plasticity on a phenotypic and genetic level by assessing 234 maize doubled haploid lines from six populations for 15 traits in seven macro-environments with a focus on varying soil phosphorus levels. It was found intergenic regions contributed the most to the variation of phenotypic linear plasticity. For 15 traits, 124 and 31 quantitative trait loci (QTL) were identified for genotypic performance and phenotypic plasticity, respectively. Further, some genes associated with phosphorus use efficiency, such as Zm00001eb117170, Zm00001eb258520, and Zm00001eb265410, encode small ubiquitin-like modifier E3 ligase were identified. By significantly testing the main effect and G-by-E effect, 38 main QTL and 17 interaction QTL were identified, respectively, in which MQTL38 contained the gene Zm00001eb374120, and its effect was related to phosphorus concentration in the soil, the lower the concentration, the greater the effect. Differences in the size and sign of the QTL effect in multiple environments could account for G-by-E. At last, the superiority of G-by-E in genomic selection was observed. The "multiple-interaction" model of third-party management for environmental pollution has gradually replaced the traditional "command-and-control" model and become a new trend in governance. This new governance system is accompanied by a lack of regulatory capacity, a single reward and punishment mechanism, and frequent rent-seeking behavior, and other governance problems are becoming increasingly prominent. Based on the premise of limited rationality, considering the possible rent-seeking behavior of pollution control enterprises and professional environmental testing institutions, this paper constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model with pollution control enterprises, professional environmental testing institutions, and government regulatory departments as the main bodies. The evolutionary stabilization strategy of the three-party game is analyzed according to Lyapunov's theory, and the system is optimized through a computational experimental simulation in MATLAB. The research results show that the government can effectively regulate the behavior of pollution control enterprises and professional environmental testing institutions by appropriately increasing the rewards and punishments, but excessive rewards are not conducive to increasing the government regulators' own performance; the existing static reward and punishment mechanism of the government regulators fails to reward and punish the behavior of governance subjects in real time, and the linear dynamic punishment mechanism greatly increases the probability of rent-seeking behavior, neither of which is a stable control strategy for the system. The non-linear dynamic reward and punishment mechanism takes into account both dynamic incentives and dynamic constraints to make the system achieve the desired evolutionary stability strategy, i.e., pollution control enterprises follow regulations, professional environmental testing agencies refuse to seek rent, and the government actively regulates the system as the final evolutionary direction. The research findings and management implications provide countermeasures and suggestions for government regulators to improve the regulatory mechanism for the third-party management of environmental pollution. Chinese cabbage, which is a cold season crop, can still be damaged at an overly low temperature. It is crucial to study the mechanism of the resistance to low temperature of Chinese cabbage. In this study, the Chinese cabbage 'XBJ' was used as the material, and nine different low temperatures and control samples were treated. Using RNA-seq and lignin content determination, we analyzed 27 samples, and the stained sections of them were observed. A total of 8845 genes were screened for the WGCNA analysis, yielding 17 modules. The GO and KEGG analyses of the modules was highly associated with a low-temperature treatment. The pathways such as 'starch and sucrose metabolism' and 'plant hormone signal transduction' were enriched in modules related to low temperature. Interestingly, L-15DAT-associated MEcoral2 was found to have 14 genes related to the 'lignin biosynthetic process' in the GO annotation. The combination of the determination of the lignin content and the treatment of the stained sections showed that the lignin content of the low-temperatures samples were indeed higher than that of the control. We further explored the expression changes of the lignin synthesis pathway and various genes and found that low temperature affects the expression changes of most genes in the lignin synthesis pathway, leading to the speculation that the lignin changes at low temperature are a defense mechanism against low temperatures. The 29 BrCOMT gene sequence derived from the RNA-seq was non-conserved, and eight BrCOMT genes were differentially expressed. In plants, the accumulation of carotenoids can maintain the balance of the photosystem and improve crop nutritional quality. Therefore, the molecular mechanisms underlying carotenoid synthesis and accumulation should be further explored. In this study, carotenoid accumulation differed significantly among parental Brassica rapa. Genetic analysis was carried out using the golden inner leaf '1900264′ line and the light−yellow inner leaf '1900262′ line, showing that the golden inner leaf phenotype was controlled by a single dominant gene. Using bulked−segregant analysis sequencing, BraA09g007080.3C encoding the ORANGE protein was selected as a candidate gene. Sequence alignment revealed that a 4.67 kb long terminal repeat insertion in the third exon of the BrGOLDEN resulted in three alternatively spliced transcripts. The spatiotemporal expression results indicated that BrGOLDEN might regulate the expression levels of carotenoid−synthesis−related genes. After transforming BrGOLDEN into Arabidopsis thaliana, the seed−derived callus showed that BrGOLDENIns and BrGOLDENDel lines presented a yellow color and the BrGOLDENLdel line presented a transparent phenotype. In addition, using the yeast two−hybrid assay, BrGOLDENIns, BrGOLDENLdel, and Brgoldenwt exhibited strong interactions with BrPSY1, but BrGOLDENDel did not interact with BrPSY1 in the split−ubiquitin membrane system. In the secondary and 3D structure analysis, BrGOLDENDel was shown to have lost the PNFPSFIPFLPPL sequences at the 125 amino acid position, which resulted in the α−helices of BrGOLDENDel being disrupted, restricting the formation of the 3D structure and affecting the functions of the protein. Brassica rapa is one of the most important leafy vegetables worldwide, and has a long history of cultivation. However, it has not been possible to completely control the damage of turnip mosaic virus (TuMV), a serious virus in B. rapa, to production. In this study, the genome-wide identification and expression detection of eIF family genes from B. rapa in response to TuMV resistance were analyzed, including the identification of eIF family genes, chromosomal distribution, three-dimensional (3D) structure and sequence logo analyses, and the expression characterization as well as differential metabolite analysis of eIF family genes in resistant/susceptible lines, which may further prove the whole-genome tripling (WGT) event in B. rapa evolution and provide evidence for the functional redundancy and functional loss of multicopy eIF genes in evolution. A qRT-PCR analysis revealed that the relative expressions of eIF genes in a susceptible line (80461) were higher than those in a resistant line (80124), which may prove that, when TuMV infects host plants, the eIF genes can combine with the virus mRNA 5′ end cap structure and promote the initiation of virus mRNA translation in the susceptible B. rapa line. In addition, the metabolite substances were detected, the differences in metabolites between disease-resistant and disease-susceptible plants were mainly manifested by altered compounds such as flavonoids, jasmonic acid, salicylic acid, ketones, esters, etc., which inferred that the different metabolite regulations of eIF family genes and reveal the resistance mechanisms of eIF genes against TuMV in brassica crops. Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) has a strong relationship with inflammation. However, it is unclear whether the dietary inflammatory potential is associated with PAD. We aimed to address this knowledge gap. The dietary inflammatory index (DII) was obtained using a 24-h dietary recall interview for each individual. Logistic regression models and restricted cubic spline were performed to assess the relationship of DII with the prevalence of PAD. In addition, Spearman correlation analysis and subgroup analysis were also undertaken. In total, 5840 individuals from the 1999–2004 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) were enrolled in our study. Participants in higher DII quartile tended to have higher rates of PAD. The increase in DII scores showed a positive association with PAD after fully multivariate adjustment (OR (odds ratios) = 1.094, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.022–1.171). The multivariable-adjusted OR and 95% CI of the highest DII index quartile compared with the lowest quartile was 1.543 (95% CI: 1.116–2.133). Subgroup analysis demonstrated that the positive association between DII and PAD was persistent across population subgroups. The modeling of cyclic behavior in rock remains a challenge due to complex deformation characteristics. This paper studied the mechanical behaviors of granite samples under uniaxial cyclic loading and unloading through cyclic compression tests and acoustic emission (AE) monitoring. Then, a comprehensive body that consisted of an elastic element, plastic element, and friction element was proposed to describe the stress–strain relationship with respect to cyclic behavior, in which the friction element was connected in parallel with the serial combination of the elastic element and plastic element. Finally, the parameters of the proposed model were calibrated based on the mechanism analysis and backpropagation (BP) neural network. Results show that the behavior during unloading is primarily elastic and is accompanied by the obstruction of friction. During reloading, the behavior changes from elastic to elastic–plastic before and after the Kaiser point. The tangential modulus of the elastic element is dynamic in a linear positive correlation with elastic strain and a linear negative correlation with plastic strain; specifically, the elastic strain controls the variation process of the elastic modulus while the plastic strain determines the lower limit. The constitutive law of the plastic element is expressed by a logistic function, which means that the plastic strain increases in a trend of acceleration–deceleration. The friction element plays a major role in processing the massing effect, and the plastic element is prompted before the historical maximum stress, which reflects the ratcheting effect and Felicity effect. The reverse push-the-bit rotary steerable method based on the principle of a "labor-saving lever" provides a feasible technical solution for further improving trajectory control ability of the rotary steerable drilling system, further prolonging the system's service life and further increasing the system's drilling speed. In order to reveal the working characteristics of such a method deeply, the influence of the key structural parameters of the rotary steerable drilling system on its trajectory control ability is studied based on the finite element method. The results show that, with the certain distance from the bit to the centralizer, the structural parameters of the flexible joint, the distance from the flexible joint to the paranoid mechanism, and the distance from the paranoid mechanism to the centralizer are the main factors to affect trajectory control ability. Reducing the stiffness of the flexible joint, shortening the distance from the flexible joint to the paranoid mechanism, and optimizing the distance from the paranoid mechanism to the centralizer are the keys to improve trajectory control ability to the utmost. The performance of the reverse push-the-bit rotary steerable method with optimized parameters is obviously better than the existing method, but its actual drilling effect needs to rely on on-site verification and further optimization. Complex chromosomal rearrangements such as translocations play a critical role in oncogenesis. Translocation detection is vital to decipher their biological role in activating cancer-associated mechanisms. High-throughput chromosomal conformations capture (Hi-C) data have shown promising progress in unveiling the genome variations in a disease condition. Until now, multiple structural data (Hi-C)-based methods are available that can detect translocations in cancer genomes. However, the consistency and specificity of Hi-C-based translocation results still need to be validated with conventional methods. This study used Hi-C data of cancerous cell lines, namely lung cancer (A549), Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (K562), and Acute Monocytic Leukemia (THP-1), to detect the translocations. The results were cross-validated through whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and paired-read analysis. Moreover, PCR amplification validated the presence of translocated reads in different chromosomes. By integrating different data types, we showed that the results of Hi-C data are as reliable as WGS and can be utilized as an assistive method for detecting translocations in the diseased genome. Our findings support the utility of Hi-C technology to detect the translocations and study their effects on the three-dimensional architecture of the genome in cancer condition. Laver is a popular food for its high nutritional value, which can change among culture areas and along with the progression of harvest. Neopyropia yezoensis and Neoporphyra haitanensis were cultured in succession in Taoluo and Muping, north China. The chemical composition of laver samples together with some ecological factors in the farms were investigated. From September to December, salinity increased while water temperature decreased in both areas. Dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) and N:P decreased in Taoluo while increasing in Muping. Both N. yezoensis and N. haitanensis contained high levels of protein (26.90–41.38% DW) and low contents of fat (0.36–0.74% DW). High levels of minerals were detected in both species. The contents of protein, total amino acids, and total minerals in N. haitanensis increased significantly, while sugar content decreased significantly from September to December. The gray correlation analysis result implied that the typical ecological factors (DIN, dissolved inorganic phosphorus, N:P, pH, salinity, temperature, and transparency) have a great influence on accumulation of the crude nutrient, amino acid, fatty acid components, and mineral components in laver. The coefficient of variation analysis result also showed that environmental heterogeneity obviously enhanced differences in the contents of protein, amino acid, and trace elements in N. yezoensis. In addition, the principal component analysis result showed that the N. yezoensis strain 'Huangyou No. 1' had the highest comprehensive evaluation score in the four tested N. yezoensis strains, indicating that it has the best comprehensive quality and greatest exploitable value. Salt stress inhibited the growth of maize. B46 and NC236 were chosen as materials and NaCl concentrations (0, 55, 110, 165, and 220 mmol L−1) were set. We found the activities of SOD, POD, CAT, APX, GR, MDHAR, and DHAR decreased under NaCl stress. Compared with NC236, the contents of AsA and GSH, AsA/DHA and GSH/GSSG of B46 decreased. The content of O2−, H2O2, MDA, and EL of B46 increased. The contents of NO3− and NO2− decreased, while the content of NH4+ increased under high NaCl concentration. The activities of NR and NiR decreased, while the activities of GS and GOGAT increased first and then decreased. For B46 and NC236, the maximum of NADH-GDH and NAD-GDH appeared at 165 and 110 mmol L−1 NaCl concentration, respectively. Compared with B46, and the GOT and GPT activities of NC236 increased first and then decreased. With the increase of NaCl concentration, the contents of proline, soluble protein, and soluble sugar were increased. The Na+ content of B46 and NC236 increased, and the K+ content and K+/Na+ decreased. Seaweeds are important to marine ecosystems through biogeochemical processes. Laver are the most widely farmed seaweeds with the largest culture area in China. This study analyzes the water quality characteristics in a large-scale laver culture area (Taoluo) by comparing a small-scale laver culture area and non-culture areas, thereby assessing the changes in water quality due to large-scale laver cultivation. Particulate organic carbon and/or dissolved organic carbon decreased while the total suspended solid increased seasonally or with the distance from the coast. The concentrations of total nitrogen as well as dissolved inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus were generally higher near the shore and decreased seasonally in Taoluo. Substantial spatial variation in nutrient parameters between culture and non-culture sites was observed. Moreover, significant variations between culture and non-culture sites on a spatio-temporal scale were mostly observed in December compared with September and October. Furthermore, more clusters were found in December based on the water quality characteristics in various sampling sites using a hierarchical clustering analysis. These results suggested that more spatial deviation in water quality parameters between culture and non-culture sites were found in December; thus it can be hypothesized that the changes in water quality due to large-scale cultivation for laver was likely to occur in northern China in winter, i.e., the period of best growth status for the cold-temperate species of laver (e.g., Neopyropia yezoensis). The present studies were conducted to evaluate key serum proteins and other components that mediate anchorage-independent growth (3-D growth) of LNCaP prostate cancer cells as spheroids. The cells were cultured on ultra-low attachment plates in the absence and presence of fetuin-A and with or without extracellular vesicles. The data show that fetuin-A (alpha 2HS glycoprotein) is the serum protein that mediates 3-D growth in these cells. It does so by sequestering extracellular vesicles of various sizes on the surfaces of rounded cells that grow as spheroids. These vesicles in turn transmit growth signals such as the activation of AKT and MAP kinases in a pattern that differs from the activation of these key growth signaling pathways in adherent and spread cells growing in 2-D. In the process of orchestrating the movement and disposition of extracellular vesicles on these cells, fetuin-A is readily internalized in adhered and spread cells but remains on the surfaces of non-adherent cells. Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) is an important threat to the yield and quality of brassica crops in China, and has brought serious losses to brassica crops in the Far East, including China and the north. Aphids (Hemiptera, Aphidoidea) are the main mediators of TuMV transmission in field production, and not only have strong virus transmission ability (small individuals, strong concealment, and strong fecundity), but are also influenced by the environment, making them difficult to control. Till now, there have been few studies on the resistance to aphids in brassica crops, which depended mainly on pesticide control in agriculture production. However, the control effect was temporarily effective, which also brought environmental pollution, pesticide residues in food products, and destroyed the ecological balance. This study reviews the relationship among brassica crop–TuMV, TuMV–aphid, and brassica crop–aphid interactions, and reveals the influence factors (light, temperature, and CO2 concentration) on brassica crop–TuMV–aphid interactions, summarizing the current research status and main scientific problems about brassica crop–TuMV–aphid interactions. Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa) is a major vegetable crop in China. The accumulation of anthocyanins improves the quality and flavor of Brassica crops and is beneficial for human health. There has been great research interest in breeding purple Chinese cabbage, for which it is necessary to study the key genes and mechanisms of anthocyanin accumulation. Through distant hybridization between purple mustard (Brassica juncea) and green Chinese cabbage (B. rapa), purple Chinese cabbage plants were obtained. Furthermore, the Dark_Pur gene was cloned in the purple Chinese cabbage plants, which came from purple mustard and may be responsible for the purple phenotype in purple Chinese cabbage plants. Through particle bombardment of isolated microspores from Chinese cabbage to transform the Dark_Pur gene, the transformed purple Chinese cabbage plant was obtained, thus verifying the function of the Dark_Pur gene. To further study the Dark_Pur gene regulatory mechanism of anthocyanin accumulation in Chinese cabbage, the purple/green Chinese cabbage lines and purple/green mustard lines were subjected to transcriptome–metabolome analysis. Three stages (cotyledon, seedling, and large-leaf stages) of the purple/green Chinese cabbage lines and purple/green mustard lines were selected for analysis. The results indicated that the expression level of the transcription factor genes BraA09g028560.3C, BraA03g019460.3C, and BraA07g035710.3C may be induced by the Dark_Pur gene and they play an important role in purple Chinese cabbage, and BjuB010898 and BjuO006089 may be responsible for anthocyanin accumulation in mustard. Studying the structural genes of the purple Chinese cabbage showed that PAL, C4H, 4CL, CHS, CHI, F3H, F3'H, FLS, DFR, ANS, and UGT were up-regulated in three growth periods. There were 22 and 10 differentially expressed metabolites (DEMs) in seedling and large-leaf stages between purple/green Chinese cabbage, respectively, and 12 and 14 differentially expressed metabolites (DEMs) in seedling and large-leaf stages between purple/green mustard, respectively, which may indicate that the Dark_Pur gene from purple mustard greatly regulates anthocyanin accumulation in purple Chinese cabbage. In order to provide useful advice and instructions for the designers to fabricate high-performance computing systems, this paper reviews the Chiplet-based computing system architectures, including computing architecture and memory architecture. Firstly, the computing architecture used for high-performance computing, mobile, and PC is presented and summarized. Secondly, the memory architecture based on mainstream memory and emerging non-volatile memory used for data storing and processing are introduced, and the key parameters of memory are compared and discussed. European fodder turnips (Brassica rapa ssp. rapifera) were identified as sources of clubroot resistance (CR) and have been widely used in Brassica resistance breeding. An F2 population derived from a cross between a resistant turnip and a susceptible Chinese cabbage was used to determine the inheritance and locating the resistance Quantitative Trait Loci (QTLs). The parents showed to be very resistant/susceptible to the field isolates (pathotype 4) of clubroot from Henan in China. After inoculation, 27 very resistant or susceptible individuals were selected to construct bulks, respectively. Next-generation-sequencing-based Bulk Segregant Analysis Sequencing (BSA-Seq) was used and located resistance QTL on chromosome A03 (3.3–7.5 Mb) and A08 (0.01–6.5 Mb), named Bcr1 and Bcr2, respectively. Furthermore, an F3 population including 180 families derived from F2 individuals was phenotyped and used to verify and narrow candidate regions. Ten and seven Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR (KASP) markers narrowed the target regions to 4.3–4.78 Mb (A03) and 0.02–0.79 Mb (A08), respectively. The phenotypic variation explained (PVE) of the two QTLs were 33.3% and 13.3% respectively. The two candidate regions contained 99 and 109 genes. In the A03 candidate region, there were three candidate R genes, namely Bra006630, Bra006631 and Bra006632. Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV), which is distributed almost all over the world and has a wide range of hosts, mainly brassica crops, was first described in Brassica rapa in the USA. Plant volatile compounds play an important role in the host searching behavior of natural enemies of herbivorous insects. In this study, TuMV-inoculated resistant and susceptible B. rapa lines were tested using volatile metabolome and transcriptome analyses. In volatile metabolome analysis, the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were different after inoculation with TuMV in resistant B80124 and susceptible B80461, and the degree of downregulation of differentially expressed metabolites was more obvious than the degree of upregulation. Through transcriptome analysis, 70% of differentially expressed genes were in biological process, especially focusing on defense response, flavonoid biosynthetic process, and toxin metabolic process, which indicates that TuMV stress maybe accelerate the increase of VOCs. Integrating the metabolome and transcriptome analyses, after inoculating with TuMV, auxin regulation was upregulated, and ARF, IAA and GH3 were also upregulated, which accelerated cell enlargement and plant growth in tryptophan metabolism. The different genes in zeatin biosynthesis pathways were downregulated, which reduced cell division and shoot initiation. However, the metabolite pathways showed upregulation in brassinosteroid biosynthesis and α-linolenic acid metabolism, which could cause cell enlargement and a stress response. Rapid and facile determination of pesticides is critically important in food and environmental monitoring. This study developed a self-assembled gold nanoparticle array based SERS method for highly specific and sensitive detection of acetamiprid, a neonicotinoid pesticide that used to be difficult in SERS analysis due to its low affinity with SERS substrates. SERS detection and quantification of acetamiprid was conducted with self-assembled gold nanoparticle arrays at the interface of chloroform and water as the enhancing substrate. Since targets dissolved in chloroform (organic phase) also have access to the hot-spots of Au NP array, the developed method exhibited good sensitivity and specificity for acetamiprid determination. Under the optimal conditions, SERS intensities at Raman shifts of 631 cm−1 and 1109 cm−1 displayed a good linear relationship with the logarithm concentration of acetamiprid in the range of 5.0 × 10−7 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol/L (0.11335 ppm to 22.67 ppm), with correlation coefficients of 0.97972 and 0.97552, respectively. The calculated LOD and LOQ of this method were 1.19 × 10−7 mol/L (0.265 ppb) and 2.63 × 10−7 mol/L (0.586 ppb), respectively, using SERS signal at 631 cm−1, and 2.95 × 10−7 mol/L (0.657 ppb) and 3.86 × 10−7 mol/L (0.860 ppb) using SERS signal at 1109 cm−1, respectively. Furthermore, the developed SERS method was successfully applied in determining acetamiprid on the surface of apple and spinach. This method offers an exciting opportunity for rapid detection of acetamiprid and other organic pesticides considering its advantages of simple preparation process, good specificity and sensitivity, and short detection time (within 1 h). An accurate equivalent thermal model is proposed to calculate the equivalent thermal conductivity (ETC) of shield differential through-silicon via (SDTSV). The mathematical expressions of ETC in both horizontal and vertical directions are deduced by considering the anisotropy of SDTSV. The accuracy of the proposed model is verified by the finite element method (FEM), and the average errors of temperature along the X-axis, Y-axis, diagonal line, and vertical directions are 1.37%, 3.42%, 1.76%, and 0.40%, respectively. Compared with COMSOL, the proposed model greatly improves the computational efficiency. Moreover, the effects of different parameters on the thermal distribution of SDTSV are also investigated. The thermal conductivity is decreased with the increase in thickness of SiO2. With the increase in pitch, the maximum temperature of SDTSV increases very slowly when β = 0 ° , and decreases very slowly when β = 90 °. Phosphorus (P) deficiency is an important challenge the world faces while having to increase crop yields. It is therefore necessary to select maize (Zea may L.) genotypes with high phosphorus use efficiency (PUE). Here, we extensively analyzed the biomass, grain yield, and PUE-related traits of 359 maize inbred lines grown under both low-P and normal-P conditions. A significant decrease in grain yield per plant and biomass, an increase in PUE under low-P condition, as well as significant correlations between the two treatments were observed. In a genome-wide association study, 49, 53, and 48 candidate genes were identified for eleven traits under low-P, normal-P conditions, and in low-P tolerance index (phenotype under low-P divided by phenotype under normal-P condition) datasets, respectively. Several gene ontology pathways were enriched for the genes identified under low-P condition. In addition, seven key genes related to phosphate transporter or stress response were molecularly characterized. Further analyses uncovered the favorable haplotype for several core genes, which is less prevalent in modern lines but often enriched in a specific subpopulation. The swollen root is an important agronomic trait and is a determinant of yield for turnips, which are cultivated as both vegetables and fodder. However, the genetic mechanism of swollen root formation is poorly understood. In this study, we analyzed the F2 and BC1P2 populations derived from a cross between "10601" (European turnip with swollen root, Brassica rapa ssp. rapifera, AA, 2n = 2× = 20) and "10603" (Chinese cabbage with normal root, Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis, AA, 2n = 2× = 20), and suggested that the swollen root is a quantitative trait. Two major quantitative trait loci (QTLs), FR1.1 (Fleshy root 1.1) and FR7.1 (Fleshy root 7.1), were identified by QTL-seq analysis and further confirmed by QTL mapping in F2 and BC1P2 populations. The QTL FR1.1 with a likelihood of odd (LOD) of 7.01 explained 17.2% of the total phenotypic variations for root diameter and the QTL FR7.1 explained 23.0% (LOD = 9.38) and 31.0% (LOD = 13.27) of the total phenotypic variations in root diameter and root weight, respectively. After a recombinant screening, the major QTL FR7.1 was further narrowed down to a 220 kb region containing 47 putative genes. A candidate gene, Bra003652, which is a homolog of AT1G78240 that plays an essential role in cell adhesion and disorganized tumor-like formation in Arabidopsis thaliana, was identified in this region. In addition, expression and parental allele analysis supported that Bra003652 was a possible candidate gene of QTL FR7.1 for swollen root formation in turnip. Allopolyploidy is an evolutionary and mechanistically intriguing process involving the reconciliation of two or more sets of diverged genomes and regulatory interactions, resulting in new phenotypes. In this study, we explored the gene expression patterns of eight F2 synthetic Brassica napus using RNA sequencing. We found that B. napus allopolyploid formation was accompanied by extensive changes in gene expression. A comparison between F2 and the parent shows a certain proportion of differentially expressed genes (DEG) and activation\silent gene, and the two genomes (female parent (AA)\male parent (CC) genomes) showed significant differences in response to whole-genome duplication (WGD); non-additively expressed genes represented a small portion, while Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis showed that it played an important role in responding to WGD. Besides, genome-wide expression level dominance (ELD) was biased toward the AA genome, and the parental expression pattern of most genes showed a high degree of conservation. Moreover, gene expression showed differences among eight individuals and was consistent with the results of a cluster analysis of traits. Furthermore, the differential expression of waxy synthetic pathways and flowering pathway genes could explain the performance of traits. Collectively, gene expression of the newly formed allopolyploid changed dramatically, and this was different among the selfing offspring, which could be a prominent cause of the trait separation. Our data provide novel insights into the relationship between the expression of differentially expressed genes and trait segregation and provide clues into the evolution of allopolyploids. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are supramolecular nanomaterials, in which metal ions or clusters are connected by organic ligands to form crystalline lattices with highly ordered periodic porous network structure. MOFs have been widely applied in various fields, such as catalyst, sample preparation, and sensing. In recent years, MOFs based surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates have attracted much attention since MOFs can largely improve the performance of metallic SERS substrates toward target enrichment and signal enhancement. MOFs have been exploited in SERS analysis to tackle some challenges that bare metal substrates cannot achieve. Combination of MOFs and SERS improved the sensitivity of traditional SERS analysis and extended the application scope of SERS. With the increasing exploration of MOFs based SERS substrates, there is a great demand to review the advances in these researches. Herein, this review concentrated on summarizing the preparation and applications of MOFs based SERS substrates. Representative researches were discussed to better understand the property of MOFs based SERS substrates. The advantages of MOFs based SERS substrates were highlighted, as well as their limitations. In this paper, to further improve the filtering performance and enhance the poor tracking capability of the conventional combined step-size affine projection sign algorithm (CSS-APSA) in system identification, we propose a simplified CSS-APSA (SCSS-APSA) by applying the first-order Taylor series expansion to the sigmoidal active function (of which the independent variable is symmetric) of CSS-APSA. SCSS-APSA has lower computational complexity, and can achieve comparable, or even better filtering performance than that of CSS-APSA. In addition, we propose a modification of the sigmoidal active function. The modified sigmoidal active function is a form of scaling transformation based on the conventional one. Applying the modified function to the CSS-APSA, we can obtain the modified CSS-APSA (MCSS-APSA). Moreover, the extra parameter of MCSS-APSA provides the power to accelerate the convergence rate of CSS-APSA. Following the simplification operations of SCSS-APSA, the computational complexity of MCSS-APSA can also be reduced. Therefore, we get the simplified MCSS-APSA (SMCSS-APSA). It is becoming increasingly important to understand the mechanism of regulatory elements on target genes in long-range genomic distance. 3C (chromosome conformation capture) and its derived methods are now widely applied to investigate three-dimensional (3D) genome organizations and gene regulation. Digestion-ligation-only Hi-C (DLO Hi-C) is a new technology with high efficiency and cost-effectiveness for whole-genome chromosome conformation capture. Here, we introduce the DLO Hi-C tool, a flexible and versatile pipeline for processing DLO Hi-C data from raw sequencing reads to normalized contact maps and for providing quality controls for different steps. It includes more efficient iterative mapping and linker filtering. We applied the DLO Hi-C tool to different DLO Hi-C datasets and demonstrated its ability in processing large data with multithreading. Bivalent and polyvalent inhibitors can be used as antitumor agents. In this experiment, eight ligustrazine dimers and seven ligustrazine tetramers linked by alkane diamine with different lengths of carbon chain lengths were synthesized. After screening their antiproliferation activities against five cancer cell lines, most ligustrazine derivatives showed better cytotoxicity than the ligustrazine monomer. In particular, ligustrazine dimer 8e linked with decane-1,10-diamine exhibited the highest cytotoxicity in FaDu cells with an IC50 (50% inhibiting concentration) value of 1.36 nM. Further mechanism studies suggested that 8e could induce apoptosis of FaDu cells through the depolarization of mitochondrial membrane potential and S-phase cell cycle arrest. Inspired by these results, twenty-seven additional small molecule heterocyclic dimers linked with decane-1,10-diamine and nine cinnamic acid dimers bearing ether chain were synthesized and screened. Most monocyclic and bicyclic aromatic systems showed highly selective anti-proliferation activity to FaDu cells and low toxicity to normal MCF 10A cells. The structure-activity relationship revealed that the two terminal amide bonds and the alkyl linker with a chain length of 8–12 carbon were two important factors to maintain its antitumor activity.
