The surface velocity of the Amery Ice Shelf (AIS) is vital to assessing its stability and mass balance. Previous studies have shown that the AIS basin has a stable multi-year average surface velocity. However, spatiotemporal variations in the surface velocity of the AIS and the underlying physical mechanism remain poorly understood. This study combined offset tracking and DInSAR methods to extract the monthly surface velocity of the AIS and obtained the inter-annual surface velocity from the ITS_LIVE product. An uneven spatial distribution in inter-annual variation in the surface velocity was observed between 2000 and 2022, although the magnitude of variation was small at less than 20.5 m/yr. The increase and decrease in surface velocity on the eastern and western-central sides of the AIS, respectively, could be attributed to the change in the thickness of the AIS. There was clear seasonal variation in monthly average surface velocity at the eastern side of the AIS between 2017 and 2021, which could be attributed to variations in the area and thickness of fast-ice and also to variations in ocean temperature. Rapid urbanization and climate change exacerbate the urban heat island effect, increasing the vulnerability of urban residents to extreme heat. Although many studies have assessed urban heat vulnerability, there is a significant lack of standardized criteria and references for selecting indicators, building models, and validating those models. Many existing approaches do not adequately meet urban planning needs due to insufficient spatial resolution, temporal coverage, and accuracy. To address this gap, this paper introduces the U-HEAT framework, a conceptual model for analyzing urban heat vulnerability. The primary objective is to outline the theoretical foundations and potential applications of U-HEAT, emphasizing its conceptual nature. This framework integrates machine learning (ML) with remote sensing (RS) to identify urban heat vulnerability at both long-term and detailed levels. It combines retrospective and forward-looking mapping for continuous monitoring and assessment, providing essential data for developing comprehensive strategies. With its active learning capacity, U-HEAT enables model refinement and the evaluation of policy impacts. The framework presented in this paper offers a standardized and sustainable approach, aiming to enhance practical analysis tools. It highlights the importance of interdisciplinary research in bolstering urban resilience and stresses the need for sustainable urban ecosystems capable of addressing the complex challenges posed by climate change and increased urban heat. Conservation tillage technology possesses substantial potential to enhance agricultural production efficiency and tackle issues such as wind erosion and land degradation in semi-arid regions. The integration of no-tillage and straw mulching technologies in the conventional aeolian semi-arid agricultural zones of western Liaoning, China, has led to notable improvements in crop yield and soil quality. However, a comprehensive assessment of the mechanisms and kinetics involved in soil nutrient variations is yet to be conducted. During a two-year study period, we assessed four tillage systems in the aeolian semi-arid regions of Northern China: no-tillage with full straw mulching (NTFS), no-tillage with half straw mulching (NTHS), no-tillage without straw mulching (NT), and conventional tillage (CT). The investigation focused on examining nutrient conditions, enhancing photosynthetic activity, and increasing maize yield while improving water use efficiency (WUE). Our findings emphasize the beneficial impact of combining no-tillage and straw mulching on enhancing soil water retention, resulting in a notable rise in soil moisture levels during the crucial growth phases of maize. This approach also positively influenced soil nutrient levels, particularly in the 0–20 cm layer, fostering an environment conducive to maize cultivation. In terms of ecological benefits, no-tillage with straw mulching curtailed soil sediment transport and wind erosion, notably at 30–40 cm heights, aiding in the ecological protection of the region. The yield and WUE were substantially higher under NTFS and NTHS than under CT, with NTHS demonstrating the most significant gains in yield (14.5% to 16.6%) and WUE (18.3% to 21.7%) throughout the study period. A TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) analysis confirmed NTHS as the optimal treatment, achieving the highest scores for soil water, nutrient availability, wind erosion control, maize photosynthesis, yield, and WUE, thus emerging as the most effective conservation tillage strategy for sustainable agriculture in aeolian semi-arid regions. In addressing the critical issue of right-of-way conflicts in mixed-traffic environments, this paper introduces a novel shared right-of-way driving strategy that encompasses two guiding frameworks for resolution. The first framework applies to active lane changing. Before lane changing occurs, this framework allocates the right of way for autonomous vehicles (AVs). Based on the allocated right of way, the AVs decide whether to send a request for a shared right of way to relevant vehicles. To enhance lane-changing comfort, the vehicle assesses whether the variance of roll and lateral acceleration exceeds a preset threshold, ultimately deciding whether to proceed with the lane change. The second framework pertains to passive lane changing. After detecting an obstacle, this framework allocates the right of way. The AVs calculate acceleration based on their speed and distance from the obstacle, using this information to determine whether to change lanes or decelerate in order to avoid the obstacle. If lane changing is chosen, further evaluation is necessary. Based on the allocated right of way, the AVs decide whether to request a shared right of way from relevant vehicles. To improve lane-changing comfort, the AVs compare the variance of roll and lateral acceleration with that of pitch and longitudinal acceleration, and then they decide whether to proceed with the lane change. The proposed strategy has been validated in various scenarios, including high-speed (105 km/h), low speed (13 km/h), and general scenarios with AVs and obstacles at a distance of 125 m. As an important gelling material, cementitious materials are widely used in civil engineering construction. Currently, research on these materials is conducted using experimental and numerical image processing methods, which enable the observation and analysis of structural changes and mechanical properties. These methods are instrumental in designing cementitious materials with specific performance criteria, despite their resource-intensive nature. The material genome approach represents a novel trend in material research and development. The establishment of a material gene database facilitates the rapid and precise determination of relationships between characteristic genes and performance, enabling the bidirectional design of cementitious materials' composition and properties. This paper reviews the characteristic genes of cementitious materials from nano-, micro-, and macro-scale perspectives. It summarizes the characteristic genes, analyzes expression parameters at various scales, and concludes regarding their relationship to mechanical properties. On the nanoscale, calcium hydrated silicate (C-S-H) is identified as the most important characteristic gene, with the calcium–silicon ratio being the key parameter describing its structure. On the microscale, the pore structure and bubble system are key characteristics, with parameters such as porosity, pore size distribution, pore shape, air content, and the bubble spacing coefficient directly affecting properties like frost resistance, permeability, and compressive strength. On the macroscale, the aggregate emerges as the most important component of cementitious materials. Its shape, angularity, surface texture (grain), crushing index, and water absorption are the main characteristics influencing properties such as chloride ion penetration resistance, viscosity, fluidity, and strength. By analyzing and mapping the relationship between these genes and properties across different scales, this paper offers new insights and establishes a reference framework for the targeted design of cementitious material properties. Pearl and nacre powders have been valuable traditional Chinese medicines with whitening properties for thousands of years. We utilized a high-temperature and high-pressure method along with compound enzyme digestion to prepare the enzymatic hydrolysates of nacre powder of Pinctada martensii (NP-PMH). The peptides were identified using LC–MS/MS and screened through molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations. The interactions between peptides and tyrosinase were elucidated through enzyme kinetics, circular dichroism spectropolarimetry, and isothermal titration calorimetry. Additionally, their inhibitory effects on B16F10 cells were explored. The results showed that a tyrosinase-inhibitory peptide (Ala-His-Tyr-Tyr-Asp, AHYYD) was identified, which inhibited tyrosinase with an IC50 value of 2.012 ± 0.088 mM. The results of the in vitro interactions showed that AHYYD exhibited a mixed-type inhibition of tyrosinase and also led to a more compact enzyme structure. The binding reactions of AHYYD with tyrosinase were spontaneous, leading to the formation of a new set of binding sites on the tyrosinase. The B16F10 cell-whitening assay revealed that AHYYD could reduce the melanin content of the cells by directly inhibiting the activity of intracellular tyrosinase. Additionally, it indirectly affects melanin production by acting as an antioxidant. Crack stress thresholds in rocks have long been a popular subject in rock mechanics and engineering research. In this study, the applicability of existing methods for determining the crack stress thresholds of granite and weakly cemented porous siltstone is investigated using step loading and unloading tests. In addition, a novel method for decomposing the volumetric strain into solid-phase linear elastic strain, gas-phase nonlinear elastic strain, and plastic volumetric strain is presented. A quantitative calculation method for determining these thresholds is proposed based on the evolution law of the gas-phase volumetric strain and the physical significance of crack stress thresholds. The initiation and termination points of the stationary stage of the gas-phase volumetric strain are determined as σ cc and σ ci ; the point at which the gas-phase strain changes from positive to negative is determined as σ cd . To validate the proposed method, statistical results of the existing methods after screening are compared with the results of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method provides reasonable crack stress thresholds for siltstone and granite and is applicable to rocks with similar stress–strain behaviors. The proposed method offers the advantages of independence from other methods, suitability across high and low confining pressures, and the capability for the quantitative calculation and processing of numerous samples. State-of-charge (SoC) consistency and bus voltage regulation are two major control objectives of shipboard DC microgrids. To achieve these objectives, this paper presents a novel distributed model predictive control (DMPC) strategy with multiple cost functions. Firstly, based on the bus voltage derivative and SoC dynamic model, the voltage and SoC control equations in discrete form are established. Subsequently, considering the safe operation of battery energy storage systems (BESSs), a DMPC taking the energy storage current as the control set is designed. Finally, the average voltage compensation is taken to achieve precise control of the average voltage. The proposed method can avoid the complex process of adjusting weight coefficients, thereby simplifying controller design. Paleoenvironmental conditions significantly influence the distribution patterns and organic matter enrichment of shale. This study investigated the vertical variations of major elements, trace elements, and total organic carbon (TOC) in the Lower Carboniferous marine shale from the Yaziluo Rift Trough, South China, to understand the paleoenvironmental conditions, including redox conditions, terrigenous detrital input, paleoproductivity, and paleo-seawater depth. The Lower Carboniferous formation consists of three sedimentary facies: basin facies, lower slope facies, and upper slope facies. From the basin to the lower slope and then to the upper slope facies, TOC, quartz, and pyrite contents gradually decrease, whereas the carbonate mineral content shows an increasing trend. A continuous decline in paleo-seawater depth transformed a deep-water anoxic environment with high paleoproductivity and low detrital input in the basin facies into a semi-deep-water environment with dysoxic-oxic conditions and moderate detrital influx in the lower slope facies, evolving further into a suboxic environment with high detrital flux in the upper slope facies. The geochemistry results suggest that anoxic conditions and high paleoproductivity were the primary controls on organic matter enrichment in the siliceous shale of the basin facies. In contrast, redox conditions significantly influenced organic matter accumulation in the mixed shale of the lower slope facies, attributed to relatively low paleoproductivity in a more restricted marine setting. Many studies have attempted to explore the changes in the structure and function of symbiotic microbiomes, as well as the underlying genetic mechanism during crop domestication. However, most of these studies have focused on crop root microbiomes, while those on leaf and fruit are rare. In this study, we generated a comprehensive dataset including the metagenomic (leaf) and metatranscriptomic (fruit pericarp in the orange stage) data of hundreds of germplasms from three tomato clades: Solanum pimpinellifolium (PIM), cherry tomato (S. lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) (CER), and S. lycopersicum group (BIG). We investigated the effect of domestication and improvement processes on the structure of the symbiotic microbiome of tomato leaf and fruit pericarp, as well as its genetic basis. We were able to obtain the composition of the symbiotic microbiome of tomato leaf and fruit pericarp, based on which the tomato clade (PIM, CER, or BIG) was predicted with high accuracy through machine learning methods. In the processes of tomato domestication and improvement, changes were observed in the relative abundance of specific bacterial taxa, Bacillus for example, in the tomato leaf and fruit pericarp symbiotic microbiomes, as well as in the function of these symbiotic microbiomes. In addition, SNP loci that were significantly associated with microbial species that are characteristic of tomato leaf were identified. Our results show that domestication and genetic improvement processes alter the symbiotic microbiome structure and function of tomato leaf and fruit pericarp. We propose that leaf and fruit microbiomes are more suitable for revealing changes in symbiotic microbiomes during the domestication process and the underlying genetic basis for these changes due to the exclusion of the influence of environmental factors such as soil types on the microbiome structure. Benzene, a common industrial solvent, poses significant health risks including poisoning and hematopoietic diseases. However, its precise toxicity mechanisms remain unclear. To assess the health impact of prolonged benzene exposure through metabolomic analyses of exposed workers and benzene-poisoned mice, aiming to identify biomarkers and minimize occupational hazards. This study compared 18 benzene-exposed workers with 18 non-exposed workers, matching for age, lifestyle, and BMI. The metabolites in the workers' samples were analyzed using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. A larger study included 118 exposed and 158 non-exposed workers, incorporating surveys and routine blood and urine tests with differential metabolites targeted via an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The animal studies consisted of two 15- and 60-day benzene staining and control experiments on 28 C57BL/6J mice, followed by sample collection and organ analysis. The data analysis employed eXtensible Computational Mass Spectrometry (XCMS), Python, MetaboAnalyst 6.0, and SPSS24.0. The exposed workers exhibited altered metabolites indicating external benzene exposure, lower glucose levels, and changes in white blood cell counts and urinary ketone bodies. The plasma metabolomics revealed disturbances in energy and lipid metabolism. The benzene-exposed mice displayed reduced weight gain, behavioral changes, and organ damage. Oxidative stress and abnormal purine and lipid metabolism were observed in both the long-term benzene-exposed workers and benzene-exposed mice. Background: In this investigation, we aimed to understand the influence of oral probiotic supplementation on the vaginal microbiota of women preparing for assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures. Given the importance of a healthy microbiome for reproductive success, this study sought to explore how probiotics might alter the bacterial composition in the vaginal environment. Methods: We recruited a cohort of 30 women, averaging 37 years of age (ranging from 31 to 43 years), who were scheduled to undergo ART. Using 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequencing, we meticulously analyzed the vaginal microbiota composition before and after the administration of oral probiotic supplements. Results: Our analysis identified 17 distinct microorganisms, including 8 species of Lactobacillus. Following probiotic supplementation, we observed subtle yet notable changes in the vaginal microbiota of some participants. Specifically, there was a decrease in Gardnerella abundance by approximately 20%, and increases in Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium by 10% and 15%, respectively. Additionally, we noted a significant reduction in the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes (F/B) ratio in the probiotic group, indicating potential shifts in the overall bacterial composition. Conclusions: These preliminary findings suggest that oral probiotic supplementation can induce significant changes in the vaginal microbiota of middle-aged women undergoing ART, potentially improving their overall bacterial profile. Future studies should consider a larger sample size and a narrower age range to validate these results. Investigating factors related to female hormone production could also provide deeper insights. In response to the widespread absence of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals in underground parking scenes, we propose a multimodal localization method that integrates enhanced berth mapping with Clothoid trajectory prediction, enabling high-precision localization for intelligent vehicles in underground parking environments. This method began by constructing a lightweight map based on the key berths. The map consisted of a series of discrete nodes, each encompassing three elements: holistic and local scene features extracted from an around-view image, and the global pose of the mapping vehicle calculated using the positions of the key berth's corner points. An adaptive localization strategy was employed during the localization phase based on the trajectory prediction result. A progressive localization strategy, relying on multi-scale feature matching, was applied to the nodes within the map coverage range. Additionally, a compensation localization strategy that combined odometry with the prior pose was utilized for the nodes outside the map coverage range. The experiments conducted in two typical underground parking scenes demonstrated that the proposed method achieved a trajectory prediction accuracy of 40 cm, a nearest map search accuracy exceeding 92%, and a metric localization accuracy meeting the 30 cm standard. These results indicate that the proposed approach satisfies the high-precision, robust, real-time localization requirements for intelligent vehicles in underground parking scenes, while effectively reducing the map memory requirements. Insects have developed sophisticated detoxification systems to protect them from plant secondary metabolites while feeding on plants to obtain necessary nutrients. As an important enzyme in the system, glycosyltransferase 1 (GT1) conjugates toxic compounds to mitigate their harm to insects. However, the evolutionary link between GT1s and insect plant feeding remains elusive. In this study, we explored the evolution of GT1s across different insect orders and feeding niches using publicly available insect genomes. GT1 is widely present in insect species; however, its gene number differs among insect orders. Notably, plant-sap-feeding species have the highest GT1 gene numbers, whereas blood-feeding species display the lowest. GT1s appear to be associated with insect adaptations to different plant substrates in different orders, while the shift to non-plant feeding is related to several losses of GT1s. Most large gene numbers are likely the consequence of tandem duplications showing variations in collinearity among insect orders. These results reveal the potential relationships between the evolution of GT1s and insect adaptation to plant feeding, facilitating our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying insect–plant interactions. A four-group mechanically compensated continuous-zoom microscope is proposed and designed based on the theory of continuous zoom. The system addresses the limitations of traditional continuous-zoom microscopes, including a small zoom ratio, a short working distance, and the loss of details during 2D–3D switching. The system has a magnification of 0.6×~6.0× under two-dimensional observation, adapts to two-third-inch sensors, has a working distance of 130 mm, and adds a 360-degree rotatable beamsplitter for three-dimensional full-field-of-view observation. The magnification, numerical aperture, and sensor dimensions remain unchanged under both two-dimensional and three-dimensional observation. The design results demonstrate that the system is capable of achieving a high zoom ratio of 10× while maintaining a high level of imaging quality in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional modes. The MTF curves for each magnification are in close proximity to the diffraction limit, the spot diagrams are smaller than the airy disk range, and the zoom cam curves are smooth with no inflection points. Furthermore, the system negates the visual discrepancies and loss of detail that arise when switching observation modes due to alterations in system magnification and numerical aperture, thereby broadening the scope of applications for continuous-zoom microscopes. Leakage is a high-incidence disease of embankment dams, and efficiently addressing this disease guarantees the safe operation of dams. Underwater leakage self-priming plugging technology is a new technology that utilizes the melting and solidifying characteristics of phase-change materials and the negative pressure in the leakage entry area to accurately plug the leakage. However, little is yet known about the underwater melting process of phase-change materials and how their characteristics influence the plugging effect. In this study, three kinds of phase-change materials, namely, paraffin, rosin, and stearic acid, were used to conduct underwater leakage self-priming plugging tests, observe and analyze the underwater melting process, and compare the plugging effects. The results showed that the underwater melting process of phase-change materials exhibited different plugging window periods depending on their melting points, specific heat capacities, and mobilities, which were the main factors affecting their plugging effects. In the final plugging stage, paraffin had the best plugging effect, but the material strength was low; rosin had good plugging compactness, but the fluidity performance was poor, and the material effective utilization was low; stearic acid had a low melting point but dispersed easily. Soil copper (Cu) contamination in mining areas poses a serious threat to the surrounding environment and human health. Timely determination of Cu concentrations is crucial for the ecological protection of mining areas. Hyperspectral remote sensing technology, with its non-destructive monitoring advantages, is essential for monitoring soil Cu pollution and achieving sustainable agricultural development. Using the hyperspectral technique for assessing soil Cu concentration, four machine learning models (support vector regression (SVR), random forest (RF), partial least squares regression (PLSR), and artificial neural network (ANN)), combined with three types of input variables (the full-band, sensitive bands, and optimized spectral indices (Opt-TBIs)) were employed. The hyperspectral reflectance of 647 soil samples from an abandoned tailings mine in western Inner Mongolia, China was collected. The sensitive bands were extracted using the successive projections algorithms (SPA), and 12 Opt-TBIs were selected. Results showed that the regions with higher soil Cu concentration extracted by SPA and Opt-TBIs were concentrated in the red edge and near-infrared regions. Compared with the full spectrum and SPA-sensitive bands, models based on Opt-TBIs successfully predicted soil Cu concentrations. The Opt-TBIs-RF model provided higher accuracy in estimating soil Cu among the four models. Using only four Opt-TBIs as input variables, the model maintained a stable performance in estimating Cu concentrations in different mining areas (R2Val = 0.72, RPDVal = 1.90). In conclusion, Opt-TBIs as input variables demonstrate good predictive capabilities for soil Cu concentrations in the study area, providing a basis for the formulation of sustainable strategies for soil reclamation and environmental protection in Inner Mongolia. In response to the need for improvement in the utilization of ammonium-rich solutions after the electrochemical reduction of nitrate (NO3−–RR), this study combined phosphorus-containing wastewater and adopted the electrochemical precipitation method for the preparation of struvite (MAP) to simultaneously recover nitrogen and phosphorus resources. At a current density of 5 mA·cm−2 and an initial solution pH of 7.0, the recovery efficiencies for nitrogen and phosphorus can reach 47.15% and 88.66%, respectively. Under various experimental conditions, the generated struvite (MgNH4PO4·6H2O) exhibits a typical long prismatic structure. In solutions containing nitrate and nitrite, the coexisting ions have no significant effect on the final product, struvite. Finally, the characterization of the precipitate product by X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed that its main component is struvite, with a high purity reaching 93.24%. Overall, this system can effectively recover ammonium nitrogen from the NO3−–RR solution system after nitrate reduction, with certain application prospects for the recovery of ammonium nitrogen and phosphate. The charge/discharge operation of the prosumer's energy storage and the energy interaction between prosumers and MGs are chaotic from the overall point of the MG's operation. It causes considerable resource waste and reduces the overall benefits of the MG with multi-prosumers. Therefore, a game theory-based optimal scheduling strategy for the MG with multi-prosumers combined into a PRCO is proposed in this paper. According to the prosumers' complementary characteristics of ES utilization and energy production, prosumers can be integrated into the PRCO to obtain energy reciprocity by sharing ES with an ordered charge–discharge operation. Meanwhile, to improve the collaboration of prosumers and the overall efficiency of the MG, a game scheduling model is established with the MG as the leader and the PRCO as the follower. The ToU price incentive policy is implemented in the MG to maximize the operational benefits and reduce the difference between the valley and peak load. Meanwhile, the PRCO responds to the price policy and implements an ordered charge–discharge strategy of ES to optimize each member's energy scheduling strategy and minimize the total costs. The PRCO revenues are distributed to prosumers based on the Shapley value method. The uniqueness and existence of Stackelberg equilibrium in the game model are proved. Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major infectious disease partly due to the lack of an effective vaccine. Therefore, developing new and more effective TB vaccines is crucial for controlling TB. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis) usually parasitizes in macrophages; therefore, cell-mediated immunity plays an important role. The maintenance of memory T cells following M. tuberculosis infection or vaccination is a hallmark of immune protection. This review analyzes the development of memory T cells during M. tuberculosis infection and vaccine immunization, especially on immune memory induced by BCG and subunit vaccines. The effects of subcritical water microenvironment on the physiochemical properties, antioxidant activity and in vitro digestion of polysaccharides (SWESPs) from squash were investigated. After single-factor experiments, twenty samples were successfully prepared at different extraction temperatures (110, 130, 150, 170 and 190 °C) and extraction times (4, 8, 12 and 16 min). Under a low temperature environment, the whole process was mainly based on the extraction of SWESP. At this time, the color of SWESP was white or light gray and the molecular mass was high. When the temperature was 150 °C, since the extraction and degradation of SWESP reached equilibrium, the maximum extraction rate (18.67%) was reached at 150 °C (12 min). Compared with traditional methods, the yield of squash SWESP extracted by subcritical water was 3–4 times higher and less time consuming. Under high temperature conditions, SWESPs were degraded and their antioxidant capacity and viscosity were reduced. Meanwhile, Maillard and caramelization reactions turned the SWESPs yellow-brown and produced harmful substances. In addition, different SWESPs had different effects on in vitro digestion. In brief, SWESPs prepared under different conditions have different structures and physicochemical properties, allowing the obtainment of the required polysaccharide. The accurate modeling and understanding of complex transient mixed pipe flows is crucial for the optimal design and safe and efficient operation in pipeline systems such as urban drainage systems. Currently, the predominant approach for modeling free-surface-pressurized flows relies on grid-based numerical schemes, with comparatively limited capability for exploring its complex phenomena. This study proposed a novel one-dimensional numerical model that integrates the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method with the Preissmann slot method (PSM) to explore transient mixed flows in pipeline systems, with better potential capability for exploring more mixed flow phenomena. Empirical parameters of the proposed SPH-PSM model were optimized for improving the numerical accuracy and stability, and the applicable range for these empirical parameters was recommended. The performances of the proposed model were evaluated by different flow regimes, including one free surface case, one fully pressurized case, and two transient mixed-flow cases. The simulation results of different flow regimes demonstrated a high level of agreement with the reference data, indicating the good capability of the SPH-PSM model in simulating complex flow regimes in pipeline systems. CoCrFeNiMn high-entropy alloy coatings were deposited on compacted graphite iron (CGI) by plasma transfer arc cladding to strengthen and improve the wear resistance (performance) of the surface. The effects of different heat treatment processes on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the CoCrFeNiMn coatings were investigated. Compared with the deposited coating, the single FCC phase in the heat-treated coatings was retained, the grain size of the columnar dendrites decreased, the spacing between the dendrites increased, and the Cr-rich precipitated phase in the grain boundary increased. The heat treatment process had a positive influence on the microhardness and wear resistance of the coatings. The microhardness of the coatings increased after heat treatment. The current work introduces the synthesis of inorganic salt nano/micro-crystals during the reduction of hydrogen tetrachloroaurate(III) by Pluronic triblock copolymers (P123, PEO20–PPO70–PEO20). The morphologies and component were confirmed using an electron microscope with an electronic differential system (EDS), and the crystal structures were determined with X-ray diffraction (XRD). The morphologies highly depend on the concentrations of Pluronic and pH values. The mean size of the nanocrystal and hollow micro-crystal were controlled typically in the range of 32–150 nm (side length) and 1.4 μm, respectively. Different from the electrospray–ionization (EI) method, a model in which KCl forms a supersaturated solution in the micellar core of Pluronic is used to explain the formation process. Aspirin is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug often used long term. However, long-term or large doses will cause gastrointestinal adverse reactions. To explore the mechanism of intestinal damage, we used non-targeted metabolomics; farnesoid X receptor (FXR) knockout mice, which were compared with wild-type mice; FXR agonists obeticholic acid (OCA) and chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA); and endothelin-producing inhibitor estradiol to explore the mechanisms of acute and chronic intestinal injuries induced by aspirin from the perspective of molecular biology. Changes were found in the bile acids taurocholate acid (TCA) and tauro-β-muricholic acid (T-β-MCA) in the duodenum, and we detected a significant inhibition of FXR target genes. After additional administration of the FXR agonists OCA and CDCA, duodenal villus damage and inflammation were effectively improved. The results in the FXR knockout mice and wild-type mice showed that the overexpression of endothelin 1 (ET-1) was independent of FXR regulation after aspirin exposure, whereas CDCA was able to restore the activation of ET-1, which was induced by aspirin in wild-type mice in an FXR-dependent manner. The inhibition of ET-1 production could also effectively protect against small bowel damage. Therefore, the study revealed the key roles of the FXR and ET-1 pathways in acute and chronic aspirin-induced intestinal injuries, as well as strategies on alleviating aspirin-induced gastrointestinal injury by activating FXR and inhibiting ET-1 overexpression. In this study, we designed two series of novel anthraquinone-based benzenesulfonamide derivatives and their analogues as potential carbonic anhydrase inhibitors (CAIs) and evaluated their inhibitory activities against off-target human carbonic anhydrase II (hCA II) isoform and tumor-associated human carbonic anhydrase IX (hCA IX) isoform. Most of these compounds exhibited good inhibitory activities against hCA II and IX. The compounds that exhibited the best hCA inhibition were further studied against the MDA-MB-231, MCF-7, and HepG2 cell lines under hypoxic and normoxic conditions. Additionally, the compounds exhibiting the best antitumor activity were subjected to apoptosis and mitochondrial membrane potential assays, which revealed a significant increase in the percentage of apoptotic cells and a notable decrease in cell viability. Molecular docking studies were performed to demonstrate the presence of numerous hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions between the compounds and the active site of hCA. The soil-borne pathogen Plasmodiophora brassicae is the causal agent of clubroot, a major disease in Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis). The host's resistance genes often confer immunity to only specific pathotypes and may be rapidly overcome. Identification of novel clubroot resistance (CR) from germplasm sources is necessary. In this study, Bap246 was tested by being crossed with different highly susceptible B. rapa materials and showed recessive resistance to clubroot. An F2 population derived from Bap246 × Bac1344 was used to locate the resistance Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) by Bulk Segregant Analysis Sequencing (BSA-Seq) and QTL mapping methods. Two QTL on chromosomes A01 (4.67–6.06 Mb) and A08 (10.42–11.43 Mb) were found and named Cr4Ba1.1 and Cr4Ba8.1, respectively. Fifteen and eleven SNP/InDel markers were used to narrow the target regions in the larger F2 population to 4.67–5.17 Mb (A01) and 10.70–10.84 Mb (A08), with 85 and 19 candidate genes, respectively. The phenotypic variation explained (PVE) of the two QTL were 30.97% and 8.65%, respectively. Combined with gene annotation, mutation site analysis, and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) analysis, one candidate gene in A08 was identified, namely Bra020861. And an insertion and deletion (InDel) marker (co-segregated) named Crr1-196 was developed based on the gene sequence. The purple-leaf phenotype in pak choi is due to the accumulation of anthocyanin. The main regulated genes are unclear. The gene controlling the purple-leaf phenotype was mapped on A03 using BSA-seq, but the candidate interval was not further narrowed with InDel markers. Based on our previous study, we hypothesized that the candidate gene that regulates purple leaves in pak choi may also be the Dark_Pur gene from B. juncea. Using the Dark_Pur-1 marker to identify P1, P2, F1, and F2, it was confirmed that the purple trait in purple-leaf pak choi was controlled by the Dark_Pur gene from B. juncea through distant hybridization. A DNA segment of approximately 514 Kb containing the Dark_Pur gene was reintroduced into pak choi from B. juncea. Meanwhile, a new purple pak choi germplasm line was created with green pak choi × purple B. juncea via distant hybridization, which proved that distant hybridization is an effective method for creating new germplasms. Furthermore, the purple-leaf phenotypes of 20 pak choi varieties were identified, and the purple-leaf traits of all lines were derived from B. juncea via distant hybridization. At present, few studies have focused on the background of the purple trait in pak choi; however, in this study, our results suggest that there is a high probability that the purple trait in pak choi may be completely derived from purple B. juncea via distant hybridization. A chemical study of Aesculus wilsonii Rehd. (also called Suo Luo Zi) and the in vitro anti-inflammatory effects of the obtained compounds was conducted. Retrieving results through SciFinder showed that there were four unreported compounds, aeswilosides I–IV (1–4), along with fourteen known isolates (5–18). Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods such as UV, IR, NMR, [α]D, and MS spectra, as well as acid hydrolysis. Among the known ones, compounds 5, 6, 8–10, and 12–16 were obtained from the Aesculus genus for the first time; compounds 7, 11, 17, and 18 were first identified from this plant. The NMR data of 5 and 18 were reported first. The effects of 1–18 on the release of nitric oxide (NO) from lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW264.7 cells were determined. The results showed that at concentrations of 10, 25, and 50 μM, the novel compounds, aeswilosides I (1) and IV (4), along with the known ones, 1-(2-methylbutyryl)phloroglucinyl-glucopyranoside (10) and pisuminic acid (15), displayed significant inhibitory effects on NO production in a concentration-dependent manner. It is worth mentioning that compound 10 showed the best NO inhibitory effect with a relative NO production of 88.1%, which was close to that of the positive drug dexamethasone. The Elisa experiment suggested that compounds 1, 4, 10, and 15 suppressed the release of TNF-α and IL-1β as well. In conclusion, this study enriches the spectra of compounds with potential anti-inflammatory effects in A. wilsonii and provides new references for the discovery of anti-inflammatory lead compounds, but further mechanistic research is still needed. Ultrafine, highly active coal gasification slag (HCGS) was produced via a sustainable, green dry-ball-milling method. Coal gasification fine slag (CGS), a potential environmental pollutant, was used as a new source of rubber filler without pre-treatment, enabling waste utilisation. HCGS was added to styrene-butadiene rubber (ESBR) composites, and the effects of HCGS and the filler content on the mechanical and thermal stabilities of SBR were evaluated. The procedure conforms to important green metrics, requiring no solvent or additional reagent, or solvent-assistance for product collection. HCGS reduced the scorch time (t10) and curing time (t90) of the filled ESBR composites relative to those of pure SBR and improved the mechanical parameters. The tensile strength at 50 phr reached 10.91 MPa, and the tear strength at 90 phr reached 64.92 kN/m, corresponding to 9.4- and 3.92-fold increases relative to that of SBR filled with HCGS, respectively. HCGS exerted a reinforcing effect on ESBR, comparable to that of commercial carbon black (CB) N330. HCGS improves the binding between rubber molecules and filler particles and captures the rubber chain, thereby limiting its movement. T-cell exhaustion refers to a state of T-cell dysfunction commonly observed in chronic infections and cancer. Immune checkpoint molecules blockading using PD-1 and TIM-3 antibodies have shown promising results in reversing exhaustion, but this approach has several limitations. The treatment of T-cell exhaustion is still facing great challenges, making it imperative to explore new therapeutic strategies. With the development of nanotechnology, nanoparticles have successfully been applied as drug carriers and delivery systems in the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. Furthermore, nanoparticle-based immunotherapy has emerged as a crucial approach to reverse exhaustion. Here, we have compiled the latest advances in T-cell exhaustion, with a particular focus on the characteristics of exhaustion that can be targeted. Additionally, the emerging nanoparticle-based delivery systems were also reviewed. Moreover, we have discussed, in detail, nanoparticle-based immunotherapies that aim to reverse exhaustion, including targeting immune checkpoint blockades, remodeling the tumor microenvironment, and targeting the metabolism of exhausted T cells, etc. These data could aid in comprehending the immunopathogenesis of exhaustion and accomplishing the objective of preventing and treating chronic diseases or cancer. In this study, the effects of kaolin and TiO2 additions on the interaction between DD6 alloys and Al2O3 shells were investigated at 1550 and 1600 °C, respectively. Through the use of optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy, the phase composition and microstructure of the shells and the alloys were studied, and the interaction mechanism was clarified. The results indicate that the shells adding kaolin and TiO2 had a relatively weak interaction with the alloys at 1550 °C, and no significant sand adhesion could be observed. As the contact temperature was increased to 1600 °C, the alloy melt could permeate into the shells, resulting in the generation of a thick sand adhesion layer. The thicknesses of the attached layers in the alloys, which contacted the shell with kaolin and TiO2, were 120 and 220 μm, respectively. No significant chemical products could be detected in the interaction layer, meaning that only physical dissolution of the shell refractory occurred. Vernalization plays a crucial role in the flowering and yield of Chinese cabbage, a process intricately influenced by long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). Our research focused on lncFLC1, lncFLC2a, and lncFLC2b, which emerged as key players in this process. These lncRNAs exhibited an inverse expression pattern to the flowering repressor genes FLOWERING LOCUS C 1 (BrFLC1) and FLOWERING LOCUS C 2 (BrFLC2) during vernalization, suggesting a complex regulatory mechanism. Notably, their expression in the shoot apex and leaves was confirmed through in fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). 1,4-dioxane is a potential carcinogen in water and is difficult to deal with due to its robust cycloether bond and complete miscibility with water. To remove 1,4-dioxane in an economically viable and environmentally friendly way, a series of carbon aerogels were synthesized as adsorbents for 1,4-dioxane. The experiment results showed that adsorption performances were closely related to the preparation conditions of carbon aerogels, such as the molar ratio, heating rate, pyrolysis temperature and residence time, which were carefully controlled. Scanning electron microscope analysis revealed the presence of a three-dimensional porous network structure in carbon aerogels. Brunauer–Emmett–Teller analysis results demonstrated an increase in specific surface area (673.89 m2/g) and total pore volume after carbonization, with an increase in mesoporous porosity and a decrease in microporosity. When considering each variable individually, the highest specific surface area of prepared carbon aerogels was achieved at a pyrolysis temperature of 800 °C, a holding time of 1 h, and a heating rate of 2 °C/min. Under optimal experimental conditions, the adsorption removal of 1,4-dioxane by carbon aerogels exceeded 95%, following quasi-second-order kinetics and Langmuir isothermal adsorption isotherms, indicating that monolayer adsorption on the surface of carbon aerogels occurred. The maximum adsorption capacity obtained was 67.28 mg/g at a temperature of 318 K, which was attributed to the presence of a large proportion of mesopores and abundant micropores simultaneously in carbon aerogels. Furthermore, with the interference of chlorinated solvents such as trichloroethylene (TCE), the removal efficiency of 1,4-dioxane had no obvious inhibition effect. Regeneration experiments showed that after five continuous cycles, the carbon aerogels still kept a comparable adsorption capacity, which illustrates its potential application in 1,4-dioxane-polluted water purification. The design, especially the numerical calibration, of a circular touch mode capacitive pressure sensor is highly dependent on the accuracy of the analytical solution of the contact problem between the circular conductive membrane and the rigid plate of the sensor. In this paper, the plate/membrane contact problem is reformulated using a more accurate in-plane equilibrium equation, and a new and more accurate analytical solution is presented. On this basis, the design and numerical calibration theory for circular touch mode capacitive pressure sensors has been greatly improved and perfected. The analytical relationships of pressure and capacitance are numerically calculated using the new and previous analytical solutions, and the gradually increasing difference between the two numerical calculation results with the gradual increase in the applied pressure is graphically shown. How to use analytical solutions and analytical relationships to design and numerically calibrate a circular touch mode capacitive pressure sensor with a specified pressure detecting range is illustrated in detail. Excessive nitrogen (N) fertilization poses environmental risks at regional and global levels. Satellite remote sensing provides a novel approach for large-scale N monitoring. In this study, we evaluated the performance of different types of spectral bands and indices (SIs) coupled with ensemble learning models (ELMs) at retrieving the plant N concentration (PNC) and plant aboveground biomass (AGB) of potato from Sentinel-2 images. Cloud-free Sentinel-2 imagery was acquired during the tuber-formation to starch-accumulation stages from 2020 to 2021. Fourteen optimal SIs were selected using the successive projections algorithm (SPA) and principal component analysis (PCA). The PNC and AGB estimation models were then built using an ELMs. The results showed that the SIs based on chlorophyll absorption bands were strongly related to potato PNC and AGB. Also, the N-correlated bands were mainly concentrated in the red-edge (705 nm) and short-wave infrared (1610 and 2190 nm) regions. The ELMs successfully predicted PNC and AGB (R2PNC = 0.74; R2AGB = 0.82). Compared with the other five base models (k-nearest neighbor (KNN), partial least squares regression (PLSR), support vector regression (SVR), random forest (RF), and Gaussian process regression (GPR)), the ELMs provided higher PNC and AGB estimation accuracy and effectively reduced overfitting to training data. This study demonstrated that the promising solution of using SPA-PCA coupled with an ensemble learning model improves the estimation accuracy of potato PNC and AGB based on Sentinel-2 imagery data. Tungsten carbide (WC) is widely used in wear-resistant parts due to its excellent wear resistance. Iron-based alloys are used in the repair and remanufacturing of engine components due to their good compatibility with iron-based workpieces. In order to enhance the wear resistance of engine components in service under abrasive conditions, composite coatings have been prepared for cast iron engine components by adding WC-Co to iron-based powders. This study investigates the microstructure and wear properties of composite coatings of iron-based alloys reinforced with different contents of WC particles. The composite coatings mainly contained γ-Fe, α-Fe, WC and Fe3W3C. With the addition of the WC-Co strengthening phase, the average hardness of the FeAlC-x(WC-Co) composite coatings increases from 524 HV0.2 to 814 HV0.2. Wear test results showed that when the WC addition was 20%, it had the lowest frictional coefficient of 0.5 and the lowest wear mass loss of 1.3 mg. Compared to the original Fe-based alloy coatings, the WC particle-reinforced FeAlC composite coatings display improved wear resistance on a reduced friction basis, mainly benefiting from the high wear resistance of the graphite solid lubrication phase and carbides in the cladding. Colchicine, a natural compound extracted from Colchicum autumnale, is a phytotoxin, but interestingly, it also has multiple pharmacological activities. Clinically, colchicine is widely used for the treatment of gouty arthritis, familial Mediterranean fever, cardiovascular dysfunction and new coronary pneumonia. However, overdose intake of colchicine could cause lethal liver damage, which is a limitation of its application. Therefore, exploring the potential mechanism of colchicine-induced hepatotoxicity is meaningful. Interestingly, it was found that CYP1A1 played an important role in the hepatotoxicity of colchicine, while it might also participate in its metabolism. Inhibition of CYP1A1 could alleviate oxidative stress and pyroptosis in the liver upon colchicine treatment. By regulating CYP1A1 through the CASPASE-1-GSDMD pathway, colchicine-induced liver injury was effectively relieved in a mouse model. Secreted phosphoprotein 1 (SPP1), also known as osteopontin (OPN), is located on chromosome 4q22.1. This multifunctional secreted acidic glycoprotein is expressed intracellularly and extracellularly in various tissues, where it interacts with regulatory proteins and pro-inflammatory immune chemokines, contributing to the pathogenesis of multiple diseases. Nevertheless, the intricate genetic connections between SPP1 and ovarian aging remain largely unexplored. This study aims to bridge this knowledge gap by delving into ovarian aging and its associations with SPP1 using multi-omics data analysis. Our findings indicate that SPP1 is a potential gene related to ovarian aging. To comprehend the role of SPP1, we conducted spatial transcriptomic analyses on young and aged female mouse ovaries, revealing a significant decline in SPP1 expression in the aging group compared to the young group. Similarly, a significantly low level of SPP1 was found in the 73-year-old sample. Additionally, in-depth single-cell RNA-sequencing analysis identified associations between SPP1 and ITGAV, ITGB1, CD44, MMP3, and FN1. Notably, co-expression analysis highlighted a strong correlation between SPP1 and ITGB1. In summary, this study pioneers the identification of SPP1 as a gene implicated in ovarian aging. The scale of cities is increasing with continuous urban development. Effective methods, such as the source term estimation (STE) method, must be established for identifying the sources of air pollution in cities to prevent economic losses and casualties caused by pollutant leakage. Herein, methods for optimizing sensor configuration and identifying pollution sources are discussed, and an STE method based on the regularized minimum residual method is proposed. Urban wind environments were simulated using a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model, and the results were compared with experimental data pertaining to the wind tunnel of an architectural ensemble to verify the model's accuracy. The sensor layout was optimized using the simulated annealing (SA) algorithm and adjoint entropy, and the relationship between sensor responses and potential pollution sources was established using the CFD model. Pollutant concentrations measured using sensors were combined with the regularization method to extrapolate the pollution source strength, and the regularized minimum residual method was used to obtain the locations of the real pollution sources. The results show that compared with the Bayesian methods, the proposed method can more accurately identify pollution sources (100%), with a smaller source strength error of 2.01% for constant sources and one of 2.62% for attenuation sources. In order to make the identification and utilization of nutritional quality components in Chinese cabbage more predictive, to obtain ideal raw materials, and to help screen functional Chinese cabbage varieties that have high nutritional value, we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the nutritional quality of different Chinese cabbage varieties. In this study, 17 nutritional quality indexes of 35 Chinese cabbage varieties, including crude fiber (CF), crude protein (CP), vitamin C (VC), glucose (Glc), fructose (Fru), malic acid (MA), citric acid (CA), oxalic acid (OA), total amino acid (TAA) and CA, K, Mg, P, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn, were analyzed using diversity analysis, correlation analysis, principal component analysis, membership function analysis and cluster analysis. The results showed that there were different degrees of variation in the 17 nutritional quality indexes, and the coefficients of variation ranged from 11.45% to 91.47%. The correlation analysis found that there were significant or extremely significant correlations between different nutrient elements of Chinese cabbage, which indicated that principal component analysis could be carried out, and the comprehensive score (D value) of different materials could be obtained using principal component analysis and the membership function method. The nutritional quality of Chinese cabbage was classified into five grades by cluster analysis. Finally, a mathematical model for evaluating the nutritional quality of Chinese cabbage was established using the D value and multiple stepwise regression methods, and 10 key indexes were selected from the 17 indexes, which could be used for the rapid identification of the nutritional quality of Chinese cabbage. Ship fouling has significant adverse effects on vessel performance and environmental sustainability. Therefore, this research study develops a bi-level programming model to simultaneously optimize cleaning equipment deployment by cleaning service providers in the upper level and cleaning decisions by shipping companies in the lower level. To address the interaction within the bi-level problem, the model is transformed into a single-level formulation using the big-M method. This transformation greatly simplifies the complexity of the computation and reduces computation time. Numerical experiments are conducted using real-world data to evaluate the performance of the proposed models. In addition, sensitivity analyses are performed to investigate the influence of key parameters. The results indicate that cleaning service providers primarily purchase equipment in the first year based on the demand distribution. To maximize profit, they may choose to forgo a portion of the demand. The sensitivity analysis reveals that sacrificing part of the demand can lead to an additional USD 27 million in profits compared with satisfying all demand. Moreover, increasing the cleaning price reduces both demand and equipment purchases but increases total profits. Conversely, increasing purchase costs reduces profits and the total amount of equipment purchased. When service providers can no longer generate profits, they are likely to exit the market. These findings offer valuable insights for service providers and shipping companies in the practical deployment of cleaning equipment and foul cleaning decisions, respectively. Simple Summary: Targeted therapy for malignant esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains a big challenge for our clinicians. In an effort to search for the vulnerability of ESCC, we applied a high-throughput drug-screening strategy and found that CuET, a copper chelation product of disulfiram, had a strong synergy effect with the JMJD3/UTX inhibitor GSK J4 in treating ESCC in vitro and in vivo. Interestingly, JMJD3/UTX's diagnostic and prognostic value, as well as the underlying mechanisms associated with endoplasmic reticulum stress were revealed. Targeting JMJD3 and UTX in combination with disulfiram has the potential to provide a new safe, effective, and available therapy for ESCC. The alcohol-averse drug disulfiram has been reported to have anti-tumor effects and is well suited for drug combinations. In order to identify potential drug combinations in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), we screened a bioactive compound library with the disulfiram copper chelation product CuET. The Jumonji domain-containing protein 3 (JMJD3) and the ubiquitously transcribed tetratricopeptide repeat protein X-linked (UTX) inhibitor GSK J4 were identified. To further understand the molecular mechanism underlying the efficient drug combination, we applied quantitative mass spectrometry to analyze the signaling pathway perturbation after drug treatment. The data revealed that the synergistic effect of GSK J4 and CuET was due to the interaction among JMJD3 and UTX, which may play important roles in maintaining endoplasmic reticulum (ER) homeostasis in tumor cells. Interestingly, our clinical data analysis showed that high expression of JMJD3 and UTX was associated with T stage and worse prognosis of ESCC patients, further supporting the importance of the above findings. The contact parameters of joint interfaces have a great influence on the dynamic performance of the machine tool, and the dynamic performance determines the machining precision of the machine tool. Therefore, it is important to accurately identify the contact parameters of joint interfaces to improve the machining precision of the machine tool. In this paper, a method of identifying the joint interface stiffness parameters based on a joint simulation in Matlab and Ansys is first proposed, and then stiffness parameters of joint interfaces between the bed and column of the precision grinding machine are identified by applying the method. Finally, the feasibility and high efficiency of the proposed method are proved by comparing the natural frequencies of the simulation and the experiment. In order to further analyze the influence of joint contact parameters on the performance of the joint interfaces, the theoretical model of the normal stiffness of the joint interfaces based on fractal geometry is amended and verified by taking into account the asperity interaction and elastic–plastic deformation. Then, the modified model is extended to a three-dimensional model, which is more in line with the actual situation. Finally, the influencing factors of the joint interface stiffness are analyzed. Tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis). In lymphopenia, T cells are typically characterized by progressive loss and a decrease in their count results. Lymphopenia can hinder immune responses and lead to systemic immunosuppression, which is strongly associated with mortality. Lymphopenia is a significant immunological abnormality in the majority of patients with severe and advanced TB, and its severity is linked to disease outcomes. However, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. Currently, the research on the pathogenesis of lymphopenia during M. tuberculosis infection mainly focuses on how it affects lymphocyte production, survival, or tissue redistribution. This includes impairing hematopoiesis, inhibiting T-cell proliferation, and inducing lymphocyte apoptosis. In this study, we have compiled the latest research on the possible mechanisms that may cause lymphopenia during M. tuberculosis infection. Lymphopenia may have serious consequences in severe TB patients. Additionally, we discuss in detail potential intervention strategies to prevent lymphopenia, which could help understand TB immunopathogenesis and achieve the goal of preventing and treating severe TB. Considering environmental sustainability, ecological embankments are often adopted in rivers, which benefit both the erosion resistance and the ecological balance of the bank. In this paper, the effectiveness of different types of dominant grass species in ecological slope protection and their impact mechanisms, as well as the impact of non-directional inflow on erosion characteristics, were investigated. Based on the principle of similarity theory in hydraulic modeling and the characteristics of flood erosion in riverbanks, a test model system for hydraulic ecological simulation was designed, including a vegetation bank slope and channels. Three types of dominant grass species were selected, and 12 series of erosion experiments were conducted in the grassed slope of the test model. Three types of root–soil composites and a reference plain soil were involved in the tests, and soil mechanical indicators such as shear strength were collected. Experimental results show that root–soil composite is a special elastic–plastic material, which provides additional cohesive force to the soil due to its root consolidation and reinforcement effects, Δc. The shear strength index reflecting soil cohesion was increased by 15% to 20%. The primary factor affecting slope erosion is the flushing velocity, and both the average erosion depth and the unit soil erosion loss present an exponential function with respect to this factor, while presenting a linear function with the angle of incoming flow. Compared with the plain soil slope, the ecological slope could decrease erosion significantly. The sand loss of the ecological slope is only 50~60% that of the plain soil slope as the flushing velocity is 3–4 m s−1. In vertical flushing, the sand loss in the plain soil slope is 1.73–2.43 times that of the ecological slope. Spatiotemporal data from urban road traffic are pivotal for intelligent transportation systems and urban planning. Nonetheless, missing data in traffic datasets is a common challenge due to equipment failures, communication issues, and monitoring limitations, especially the missing not at random (MNAR) problem. This research introduces an approach to address MNAR-type missing data in traffic status prediction, utilizing a multidimensional feature sequence and a second-order hidden Markov model (2nd-order HMM). First, this approach involves extracting spatiotemporal features for the preset data sections and spatial features for the sections to be predicted based on the traffic spatiotemporal characteristics. Second, using the extracted features, distinctive road traffic features are generated for each section. Furthermore, at specific intervals within the defined time period, nearest distance feature matching is introduced to ascertain the traffic attributes of the road section under prediction. Finally, relying on the matched status results, a 2nd-order HMM is employed to forecast the traffic status for subsequent moments within the defined time period. Experiments were carried out using datasets from Shenzhen City and compared against the hidden Markov models and contrast measure (HMM-C) method to affirm the efficacy of the proposed approach.
