The tiller angle, which is an important agronomic trait, determines plant architecture and greatly influences the grain yield of rice. In this study, a population of chromosome segment substitution lines derived from a cross between a japonica variety with a compact plant architecture—Koshihikari—and an indica variety with a spread-out plant architecture—Nona Bokra—was used to investigate the genetic basis of the tiller angle. Five quantitative trait loci (qTA1, qTA5, qTA9-1, qTA9-2, and qTA11) for the tiller angle were detected on chromosomes 1, 5, 9, 9, and 11 in two different environments. The phenotypic variation in these QTLs ranged from 3.78% to 8.22%. Two pairs of digenic epistatic QTLs were detected in Lingshui. The epistatic interaction explained 15.19% and 13.60% of the phenotypic variance, respectively. Among the five QTLs, qTA9-2 was detected in both environments. An F2 mapping population containing the qTA9-2 QTL was established. The location of qTA9-2 was narrowed down to a 187 kb region between InDel markers M9 and M10 on chromosome 9. Thirty open reading frames (ORFs), including TAC1, a gene known to regulate the tiller angle, were identified in this region. The gene sequencing results suggested that a base substitution from G to A at position 1557 in the 3′-untranslated region led to a difference in the expression of qTA9-2 in Koshihikari and Nona Bokra. Most research conducted so far has primarily focused on pile-supported gravel embankments. The ability of solidified soil used as an embankment filling material has been verified, and a clear view on the performance of solidified soil embankments on piled foundations is rather limited. The three-dimensional unit cell models of pile-supported embankments are conducted to investigate the performance of solidified soil embankments in comparison to gravel embankments under static and dynamic loads. Then, a systematic parametric analysis is performed to investigate the effects of various factors, including the cohesion and friction of solidified soil, the velocity and wheel load of vehicles, the pile spacing, the height of embankments. The results show that, compared with the results of gravel embankments, the heights of the outer soil arch plane in solidified soil embankments reduces under static and dynamic loads, and the piles bear more load. In addition, the total settlements of solidified soil embankments decrease with increasing cohesions, and there is an economical cohesion of 25 kPa. The vehicle wheel load, pile spacing, and the height of embankment significantly influence the load transfer mechanism and total settlement of solidified soil embankment, while the friction angles and velocities have little effect on the total settlements and vertical stress. The relationship between the soil arch height and various parameters in solidified soil embankments is established by multiple regression analysis. This investigation highlights the advantage of solidified soil in reducing total settlement and provides an insightful understanding of the load transfer mechanism of solidified soil embankment on piled foundation. This study aims to optimize the sustainable utilization of excavated soil by incorporating it exclusively as a fine aggregate and cement in the formulation of soil-based controlled low-strength materials. The polycarboxylate superplasticizer was introduced to enhance flowability. Various factors, including the cement contents, initial water contents, and curing time, were systematically analyzed for their effects on the fresh properties, mechanical parameters, transverse relaxation time distribution, pore size distribution, porosity, and corrosivity of soil-based controlled low-strength materials. The results indicate that polycarboxylate superplasticizer effectively dispersed clay minerals and cement particles, enhancing the flowability. The unconfined compressive strength increased with the rising cement content and decreased with the increasing initial water content. Additionally, the transverse relaxation time distribution curves of the soil-based controlled low-strength materials exhibited two peaks. These curves shifted to smaller transverse relaxation time values with the increasing cement content, while gradually shifting to larger transverse relaxation time values with the increasing initial water content. An increase in the cement content resulted in higher volume percentages of small and mesopores, while extra-large pores and macropores decreased. The addition of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer had minimal impact on the pore volume percentage distribution. Furthermore, porosity experienced a decline with the rise in the cement content and curing time, in contrast to a notable increase with a higher initial water content. This investigation provides valuable insights into the engineering properties and microstructural characteristics of soil-based controlled low-strength materials, offering a foundation for sustainable waste management practices in geotechnical applications. Proposing a comprehensive evaluation measure of the high-quality development of manufacturing industry (HQDMI), the purpose of this paper is to explore whether the high-quality development of manufacturing industry (HQDMI) promotes the application of industrial robots (AIR). Evidence shows that, first, the index of HQDMI across regions shows an upward trend from 2008 to 2020. Furthermore, the application of industrial robots significantly increases the high-quality development of manufacturing industry. Our heterogeneity analysis further infers that the positive effect of AIR on HQDMI is more pronounced in wealthy and eastern regions. The mechanism analysis shows that the application of industrial robots can generate the "value-added effect of informatization" and the "resource allocation effect". Dual-ligand targeting drug delivery nanoplatforms are considered a promising tool for enhancing the specificity of chemotherapy. However, serious off-target delivery has been observed in current dual-ligand targeting nanoplatforms, as each ligand can independently recognize receptors on the cell membrane surface and guide drug nanocarriers to different cells. To overcome this barrier, a dual-ligand synergistic targeting (DLST) nanoplatform is developed, which can guide chemotherapy treatment specifically to cancer cells simultaneously overexpressing two receptors. This nanoplatform consists of a singlet oxygen (1O2) photosensitizer-loaded nanocarrier and a drug-loaded nanocarrier with 1O2 responsiveness, which were, respectively, decorated with a pair of complementary DNA sequences and two different ligands. For cancer cells overexpressing both receptors, two nanocarriers can be internalized in larger quantities to cause DNA hybridization-induced nanocarrier aggregation, which further activates 1O2-triggered drug release under light irradiation. For cells overexpressing a single receptor, only one type of nanocarrier can be internalized in a large quantity, leading to blocked drug release due to the ultrashort action radius of 1O2. In vivo evaluation showed this DLST nanoplatform displayed highly specific tumor treatment with minimized long-term toxicity. Brown rice traits are critical to both grain yield and quality. In the present study, the chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) population derived from a cross between japonica Koshihikari and indica Nona Bokra was used to analyze the brown rice length (BRL), brown rice width (BRW), length–width ratio of brown rice (BLWR), brown rice thickness (BRT), brown rice perimeter (BRP), brown rice area (BRA), thousand-grain weight of brown rice (BRGW), brown rice ratio (BRR), taste value of brown rice (BTV), and water content of brown rice (BWC). Correlations analysis showed that most of the brown rice traits had significant correlations with each other, except for BRR, BTV, and BWC. A total of sixty-one QTLs for these traits were identified under three environments, which mapped to chromosomes 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12, with the LOD ranging from 2.52 to 16.68 and accounting for 2.60 to 25.38% of the total phenotypic variations. Moreover, thirty pairs of epistatic interactions for BRL, BRW, BLWR, BRP, and BRA were estimated and distributed on all chromosomes except 10. These findings will provide a further understanding of the genetic basis of brown rice traits and facilitate the genetic improvement of rice yield and quality through breeding. Due to the accompaniment of vascular endothelial inflammation during the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases (CVD), treatment modalities against vascular endothelial inflammation have been intensively investigated for CVD prevention and/or treatment. Vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) is a typical transmembrane inflammatory protein specifically expressed by inflammatory vascular endothelial. By inhibiting VCAM-1 expression through the miR-126 mediated pathway, vascular endothelial inflammation can be efficiently relieved. Inspired by this, we developed a miR-126-loaded immunoliposome with VCAM-1 monoclonal antibody (VCAMab) decorated at its surface. This immunoliposome can be directly targeted to VCAM-1 at the inflammatory vascular endothelial membrane surface and achieve highly efficient treatment against inflammation response. The cellular experiment results showed the immunoliposome had a higher uptake rate towards inflammatory human vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and can significantly downregulate the VCAM-1 expression level of inflammatory HUVECs. In vivo investigation further demonstrated that this immunoliposome displayed a higher accumulation rate at vascular inflammatory dysfunction sites than its non-VCAMab-modified counterpart. These results suggest that this novel nanoplatform can effectively deliver miR-126 to vascular inflammatory endothelium, opening a new avenue for the safe and effective delivery of miRNA for potential clinical application. (1) Background: Anesthetic sedatives are widely used for bronchoscopy, and controversy surrounds the safety and efficacy of dexmedetomidine compared to other sedatives. The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of dexmedetomidine in bronchoscopy through a systematic review. (2) Methods: PubMed, Embase, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Library electronic databases were searched for a randomized controlled study of dexmedetomidine (Group D) or other sedative drugs (Group C) for bronchoscopy. Data extraction, quality assessment, and risk of bias analysis were performed in accordance with the preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta-analysis requirements. Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.2. (3) Results: Nine studies were included, with a total of 765 cases. Compared to Group C, the incidence of hypoxemia (OR = 0.40, 95% CI (0.25, 0.64) p = 0.0001, I2 = 8%) and tachycardia (OR = 0.44, 95% CI (0.26,0.74), p = 0.002, I2 = 14%) were lower, but bradycardia (OR = 3.71, 95% CI (1.84, 7.47), p = 0.0002, I2 = 0%) was higher in Group D; no significant difference was observed in other outcome indicators. Background: Subthalamic nucleus (STN) deep brain stimulation (DBS) is an effective method for treating Parkinson's disease (PD). However, safety of STN-DBS treating PD patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD) comorbidity is rarely focused and reported. The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of STN-DBS treating PD patients with CVD comorbidity. Methods: We retrospectively included PD patients with CVD comorbidity who underwent STN-DBS under general anesthesia in our center from January 2019 to January 2021. Patient's PD symptoms and cardiopulmonary function were evaluated by a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) before surgery. Post-operative clinical outcome and complications were collected until 1-year follow-up. Results: A total of 38 patients (26 men/12 women) of mean body mass index (BMI) 24.36 ± 3.11 kg/m2, with different CVD comorbidity were finally speculated in the study. These CVD include mainly hypertension, coronary artery disease, thoracic aortic aneurysm, heart valve replacement, pacemaker implantation, atrial fibrillation, patent foramen ovale, and so on. The mean systolic blood pressure (SBP) of 38 patients at admission day, pre-operation day, and discharge day timepoint was 135.63 ± 18.08 mmHg, 137.66 ± 12.26 mmHg, and 126.87 ± 13.36 mmHg, respectively. This showed that blood pressure was controlled well under stable and normal state. The indicators of myocardial infarction Troponin T (Tn T-T) levels at pre-operation, 1 day and 7 days after operation timepoint were 0.014 ± 0.011 ng/mL, 0.015 ± 0.011 ng/mL, and 0.014 ± 0.008 ng/mL, showing no significant fluctuation (F = 0.038, p = 0.962). STN-DBS improved PD patients' UPDRS III scores by 51.38% (t = 12.33, p < 0.0001) at 1-year follow-up compared with pre-operative baseline. A total of 11 adverse events were recorded until 1-year follow-up. No obvious cardiovascular complications such as intracranial hematoma or clot-related events occurred within 1 year after surgery except 1 case of hematuria. Conclusions: STN-DBS under general anesthesia is safe and effective for treating PD patients with CVD comorbidity. Our clinical experience and protocol of the MDT offers comprehensive perioperative evaluation for DBS surgery and mitigates bleeding and cardiovascular-associated events in PD patients with CVD comorbidity. Background: Monitoring the depth of anesthesia by electroencephalogram (EEG) based on the prefrontal cortex is an important means to achieve accurate regulation of anesthesia for subthalamic nucleus (STN) deep brain stimulation (DBS) under general anesthesia in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). However, no previous study has conducted an in-depth investigation into this monitoring data. Here, we aimed to analyze the characteristics of prefrontal cortex EEG during DBS with propofol general anesthesia in patients with PD and determine the reference range of parameters derived from the depth of anesthesia monitoring. Additionally, we attempted to explore whether the use of benzodiazepines in the 3 days during hospitalization before surgery impacted the interpretation of the EEG parameters. Materials and Methods: We included the data of 43 patients with PD who received STN DBS treatment and SedLine monitoring during the entire course of general anesthesia with propofol in a single center. Eighteen patients (41.86%) took benzodiazepines during hospitalization. We divided the anesthesia process into three stages: awake state before anesthesia, propofol anesthesia state, and shallow anesthesia state during microelectrode recording (MER). We analyzed the power spectral density (PSD) and derived parameters of the patients' prefrontal EEG, including the patient state index (PSI), spectral edge frequency (SEF) of the left and right sides, and the suppression ratio. The baseline characteristics, preoperative medication, preoperative frontal lobe image characteristics, preoperative motor and non-motor evaluation, intraoperative vital signs, internal environment and anesthetic information, and postoperative complications are listed. We also compared the groups according to whether they took benzodiazepines before surgery during hospitalization. Results: The average PSI of the awake state, propofol anesthesia state, and MER state were 89.86 ± 6.89, 48.68 ± 12.65, and 62.46 ± 13.08, respectively. The preoperative administration of benzodiazepines did not significantly affect the PSI or SEF, but did reduce the total time of suppression, maximum suppression ratio, and the PSD of beta and gamma during MER. Regarding the occurrence of postoperative delirium and mini-mental state examination (MMSE) scores, there was no significant difference between the two groups (chi-square test, p = 0.48; Mann–Whitney U test, p = 0.30). Conclusion: For the first time, we demonstrate the reference range of the derived parameters of the depth of anesthesia monitoring and the characteristics of the prefrontal EEG of patients with PD in the awake state, propofol anesthesia state, and shallow anesthesia during MER. Taking benzodiazepines in the 3 days during hospitalization before surgery reduces suppression and the PSD of beta and gamma during MER, but does not significantly affect the observation of anesthesiologists on the depth of anesthesia, nor affect the postoperative delirium and MMSE scores. Background: After deep brain stimulation (DBS), hiccups as a complication may lead to extreme fatigue, sleep deprivation, or affected prognosis. Currently, the causes and risk factors of postoperative hiccups are unclear. In this study, we investigated the risk factors for hiccups after DBS of the subthalamic nucleus (STN) for Parkinson's disease (PD) under general anesthesia. Methods: We retrospectively included patients who underwent STN DBS in the study, and collected data of demographic characteristics, clinical evaluations, and medications. According to the occurrence of hiccups within seven days after operation, the patients were divided into a hiccups group and non-hiccups group. The potentially involved risk factors for postoperative hiccups were statistically analyzed by logistic regression analysis. Results: A total of 191 patients were included in the study, of which 34 (17.80%) had postoperative transient persistent hiccups. Binary univariate logistic regression analysis showed that male, higher body mass index (BMI), smoker, Hoehn and Yahr stage (off), preoperative use of amantadine, hypnotic, Hamilton anxiety scale and Hamilton depression scale scores, and postoperative limited noninfectious peri-electrode edema in deep white matter were suspected risk factors for postoperative hiccups (p < 0.1). In binary multivariate logistic regression analysis, male (compared to female, OR 14.00; 95% CI, 1.74–112.43), postoperative limited noninfectious peri-electrode edema in deep white matter (OR, 7.63; 95% CI, 1.37–42.37), preoperative use of amantadine (OR, 3.64; 95% CI, 1.08–12.28), and higher BMI (OR, 3.50; 95% CI, 1.46–8.36) were independent risk factors for postoperative hiccups. Conclusions: This study is the first report about the risk factors of hiccups after STN DBS under general anesthesia for PD patients. The study suggests that male, higher BMI, preoperative use of amantadine, and postoperative limited noninfectious peri-electrode edema in deep white matter are independent risk factors for postoperative hiccups of STN-DBS for PD patients. Plasma transthyretin may be engaged in glucose regulation. We aimed to investigate the association between plasma transthyretin levels and the risk of newly diagnosed T2DM and impaired glucose regulation (IGR) in a Chinese population. We conducted a case-control study including 1244 newly diagnosed T2DM patients, 837 newly diagnosed IGR patients, and 1244 individuals with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) matched by sex and age. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was utilized to estimate the independent association of plasma transthyretin concentrations with the risk of T2DM and IGR. Plasma transthyretin concentrations were significantly higher in T2DM and IGR patients compared with control subjects (p < 0.005). After multiple adjustment and comparison with the lowest quartile of plasma transthyretin concentrations, the odds ratios (95% confidence intervals) of T2DM and IGR in the highest quartile were 2.22 (1.66, 2.98) and 2.29 (1.72, 3.05), respectively. Plasma transthyretin concentrations also showed a great performance in predicting the risk of T2DM (AUC: 0.76). Moreover, a potential nonlinear trend was observed. Our results demonstrated that higher plasma transthyretin concentrations, especially more than 290 mg/L, were associated with an increased risk of T2DM and IGR. Tumor phototherapies are light-mediated tumor treatment modalities, which usually refer to tumor photothermal therapy (PTT) and photodynamic therapy (PDT). Due to the outstanding spatial-temporal control over treatment through light irradiation, tumor phototherapies display extremely low side effects during treatment and are believed to be a tumor treatment method with a clinical translation potential. However, current tumor phototherapy nanoplatforms face obstacles, including light irradiation-induced skin burning, tumor hypoxia microenvironments, limited light penetration depth, et al. Therefore, one important research direction is developing a tumor phototherapy nanoplatform with multifunctionality and enhanced pharmacological effects to overcome the complexity of tumor treatment. On the other hand, cyclodextrins (CDs) are starch-originated circular oligosaccharides with negligible toxicity and have been used to form supermolecular nanostructures through a host–guest interaction between the inner cavity of CDs and functional biomolecules. In the past few years, numerous studies have focused on CD-based multifunctional tumor phototherapy nanoplatforms with an enhanced photoeffect, responsive morphological transformation, and elevated drug bioavailability. This review focuses on the preparation methods of CD-based tumor phototherapy nanoplatforms and their unique physiochemical properties for improving anti-tumor pharmacological efficacy. In recent years, more and more funds circulate internally in the financial field, which is called "financial hoarding". After calculations, the scale of China's financial hoarding was 242,178 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2003 and jumped to 1,801,706 billion yuan in the fourth quarter of 2016, which increased by nearly 7.4 times in the past 14 years and accelerated after 2014. The phenomenon that large amounts of money deviate from the real economy to virtual economy is called "shift from real economy to virtual economy". The large scale of financial hoarding will inevitably influence the economic growth in China. Does financial hoarding promote or inhibit the economy? Does the relationship change with the economic growth rate? To address this issue, this paper first provided theoretical analysis of the relationship between financial hoarding and economic growth. Then, it used the data of the first quarter of 2003 through the fourth quarter of 2016 in China for empirical analysis. The results revealed two facts. Firstly, the simultaneous equations model showed that financial hoarding and economic growth promote each other in the long run and financial hoarding can be conducive to economic growth. Secondly, the MS-VAR model showed that the relationship between financial hoarding and economic growth changed with the economic growth rate. In addition, financial hoarding had a positive effect on the economic growth under both medium and high economic growth regimes, but to a greater extent in high economic growth regimes. Simple Summary: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a hepatic manifestation of the metabolic syndrome. With the prevalence of obesity and type 2 diabetes, NAFLD is becoming the most common liver disorder worldwide. More than 10% of NAFLD patients progress to an inflammatory and fibrotic form called nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which can lead to end-stage liver disease. Liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSEC) are highly specialized cells located at the interface between the flowing blood in the liver and the other liver cells. The current review highlights the recent knowledge of the role of LSEC in the development of NASH, and how LSEC change their structure and function during NAFLD progression. Moreover, the review discusses the pathogenic role of nanometer-sized particles called extracellular vesicles that mediate intercellular communication in the NASH liver. The current manuscript has a special emphasis on the role of adhesion molecules expressed on the LSEC surface in the recruitment of circulating leukocytes to the liver, a critical step in liver inflammation in NASH. Furthermore, the review shed some lights on LSEC-targeted potential therapeutic strategies in NASH. Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) has become a growing public health problem worldwide, yet its pathophysiology remains unclear. Liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSEC) have unique morphology and function, and play a critical role in liver homeostasis. Emerging literature implicates LSEC in many pathological processes in the liver, including metabolic dysregulation, inflammation, angiogenesis, and carcinogenesis. In this review, we highlight the current knowledge of the role of LSEC in each of the progressive phases of NASH pathophysiology (steatosis, inflammation, fibrosis, and the development of hepatocellular carcinoma). We discuss processes that have important roles in NASH progression including the detrimental transformation of LSEC called "capillarization", production of inflammatory and profibrogenic mediators by LSEC as well as LSEC-mediated angiogenesis. The current review has a special emphasis on LSEC adhesion molecules, and their key role in the inflammatory response in NASH. Moreover, we discuss the pathogenic role of extracellular vesicles and their bioactive cargos in liver intercellular communication, inflammation, and fibrosis. Deoxynivalenol (DON) is one of the most prevalent food- and feed-associated mycotoxins. It frequently contaminates agricultural commodities and poses serious threats to human and animal health and leads to tremendous economic losses globally. Much attention has been paid to using microorganisms to detoxify DON. In this study, a Bacillus licheniformis strain named YB9 with a strong ability to detoxify DON was isolated and characterized from a moldy soil sample. YB9 could degrade more than 82.67% of 1 mg/L DON within 48 h at 37 °C and showed strong survival and DON degradation rate at simulated gastric fluid. The effects of YB9 on mice with DON intragastrical administration were further investigated by biochemical and histopathological examination and the gut microbiota was analyzed by 16S rRNA Illumina sequencing technology. The results showed that DON increased the levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and creatinine (Cr), decreased those of immunoglobulin G (IgG) and IgM in serum, and resulted in severe pathological damage of the liver, kidney, and spleen. By contrast, YB9 supplementation obviously inhibited or attenuated the damages caused by DON in mice. In addition, YB9 addition repaired the DON-induced dysbiosis of intestinal flora, characterized by recovering the balance of Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes to the normal level and decreasing the abundance of the potentially harmful bacterium Turicibacter and the excessive Lactobacillus caused by DON. Taken together, DON-degrading strain YB9 might be used as potential probiotic additive for improving food and feed safety and modulating the intestinal microbial flora of humans and animals. Environmental conflicts have been a top global focus and issue for human's sustainable development. China is confronted with a serious situation with a rigid demand of ecological governance, in which the "Not In My Back Yard" (NIMBY) crisis outbreaks frequently. NIMBY has a great impact on government management and social stability. This study aims to analyze the NIMBY crisis transformation path for municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) in China. Considering environmental, social and economic influences, this study seeks to find methods of transforming dangers into opportunities. A conceptual framework for realizing the NIMBY crisis transformation in waste management decision-making was conducted with a hybrid approach. A fishbone diagram was applied to explain the key factors of NIMBY crisis transformation for MSWI. Integrating Bayesian network structure discovery and co-word analysis into a qualitative analysis, searched data and key factors from a literature search engine with specific themes were used for structure learning. The results showed that project location, benefit compensation, publicity and education, public decision, public participation, the rule of law and multiple governance have distinct influences on the NIMBY crisis transformation process in China. High-temperature electronic devices and sensors that operate in harsh environments, especially high-temperature environments, have attracted widespread attention. An Al2O3 based a-IGZO (amorphous indium-gallium-zinc-oxide) Schottky diode sensor is proposed. The diodes are tested at 21–400 °C, and the design and fabrication process of the Schottky diodes and the testing methods are introduced. Herein, a series of factors influencing diode performance are studied to obtain the relationship between diode ideal factor n, the barrier height ФB, and temperature. The sensitivity of the diode sensors is 0.81 mV/°C, 1.37 mV/°C, and 1.59 mV/°C when the forward current density of the diode is 1 × 10−5 A/cm2, 1 × 10−4 A/cm2, and 1 × 10−3 A/cm2, respectively. A carbon nanotube/Fe3O4 thin film-based wireless passive gas sensor with better performance is proposed. The sensitive test mechanism of LC (Inductance and capacitance resonant) wireless sensors is analyzed and the reason for choosing Fe3O4 as a gas sensing material is explained. The design and fabrication process of the sensor and the testing method are introduced. Experimental results reveal that the proposed carbon nanotube (CNT)/Fe3O4 based sensor performs well on sensing ammonia (NH3) at room temperature. The sensor exhibits not only an excellent response, good selectivity, and fast response and recovery times at room temperature, but is also characterized by good repeatability and low cost. The results for the wireless gas sensor's performance for different NH3 gas concentrations are presented. A high-temperature sensor based on a metamaterial unit cell is proposed in this paper. The wireless passive temperature sensing method is based on the electromagnetic backscatter principle, and thus has the advantages of higher quality, lower environmental interference, and anti-low frequency interference. We developed a finite-element method-based model for the sensor via high-frequency simulation software (HFSS). A double split-ring resonator (SRR) with an outer ring length of 13 mm was designed on alumina ceramic substrate. The sensor was fabricated at 2.42 GHz using micromechanical technology and screen printing technology. When the temperature increased from 28 to 1100 °C, the resonant frequency decreased from 2.417 to 2.320 GHz with an average sensitivity of 95.63 kHz/°C. As the sensor is easily designed and fabricated, it can be used for chipless radio frequency identification (RFID) tags by simply changing the size of rings. Furthermore, emerging 3D printing technology and commercial desktop inkjet printers will be used to realize the rapid low-cost preparation of the sensor, enabling its wide range of applications in aerospace, military, manufacturing, transportation, and other fields.
