This study aimed to assess the effect of novel thermal glycation, utilizing microwave processing (100−150 °C) combined with sugars (glucose and lactose), on the in vitro protein digestibility, peptides, secondary structures, microstructures, and allergenic properties of Atlantic cod. The research demonstrated that microwave heating at 150 °C with glucose significantly reduced cod allergenicity by up to 16.16%, while also enhancing in vitro protein digestibility to 69.05%. Glucose was found to be more effective than lactose in conjunction with microwave heating in reducing the allergenicity of Atlantic cod. Moreover, treatments conducted at 150 °C were more effective in increasing in vitro protein digestibility and peptide content compared to those at 100 °C. This study revealed that the novel processing technique of thermal glycation effectively reduced the allergenicity of Atlantic cod. Osteoporosis is a global health challenge characterized by bone loss and microstructure deterioration, which urgently requires the development of safer and more effective treatments due to the significant adverse effects and limitations of existing drugs for long-term treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine, like Epimedium, offers fewer side effects and has been used to treat osteoporosis, yet its active compounds and pharmacological mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, 65 potential active compounds, 258 potential target proteins, and 488 pathways of Epimedium were identified through network pharmacology analysis. Further network analysis and review of the literature identified six potential active compounds and HIF-1α for subsequent experimental validation. In vitro experiments confirmed that 2″-O-RhamnosylIcariside II is the most effective compound among the six potential active compounds. It can promote osteoblast differentiation, bind with HIF-1α, and inhibit both HIF-1α gene and protein expression, as well as enhance COL1A1 protein expression under hypoxic conditions. In vivo experiments demonstrated its ability to improve bone microstructures and reduce bone loss by decreasing bone marrow adipose tissue, enhancing bone formation, and suppressing HIF-1α protein expression. This study is the first to describe the therapeutic effects of 2-O-RhamnosylIcariside II on osteoporosis, which was done, specifically, through a mechanism that targets and inhibits HIF-1α. This study provides a scientific basis for the clinical application of Epimedium and offers a new candidate drug for the treatment of osteoporosis. There are many species of Lepidoptera, but few complete mitochondrial genomes of Lepidoptera have been included in databases. Here, the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Salassa thespis was isolated and characterized. It was 15,302 bp in length and contained 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), two rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes and an A + T-rich region. Among the 13 PCGs, the initiation codon of cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (cox1) was CGA, and the rest were ATN. The cox1 and cox2 genes had an incomplete stop codon T, while the rest terminated with TAA. Codon usage analysis showed that Phe, Ile, Leu and Asn were the most frequent amino acids, while Trp was the least. Like other Lepidopterans, some conserved motifs were found in the A + T-rich region, including a 17 bp poly-T guided by ATAGA, the AT-rich area and a poly-A element. Bayesian inference and maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree analysis based on 13 PCGs of S. thespis confirmed that it belonged to the Saturniidae family and showed the following relationship: (S. thespis + (Rhodinia fugax + Samia canningi)). The purpose of this study was to investigate how students' disabilities impacted their learning at the university and to measure their perceptions of universal design for learning (UDL). An online survey was administered at a large public research university in the south-central United States; 160 students with disabilities completed the survey. These students with disabilities described how their disabilities influenced their learning in the following aspects: attention issues, slow processing, absence, accessibility issues, reading and writing challenges, mental health challenges, and social interaction challenges. The results also revealed that some UDL teaching practices were not being fully utilized by instructors based on the perceptions of students with disabilities. We discussed those UDL practices which were not being used by instructors and highlighted the impact of using the practices on students' learning. These practices include effective teaching methods such as helping students organize and summarize learning content, using technology to increase accessibility, providing flexibility in assessments and assignments, providing meaningful feedback, and recruiting students' attention and engagement. We aim to understand the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) antibody levels in children after vaccination and to construct VZV-IgG centile curves and reference values for children aged 1–7 years. From September to October 2023, a total of 806 children were recruited according to the time intervals of 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years after vaccination, as well as age groups. A generalized additive model for location, shape, and scale (GAMLSS) was applied to estimate P3, P10, P25, P50, P75, P90, and P97 centile reference values of VZV-IgG, and 95% reference intervals were calculated. A total of 785 children were included in the analysis, with an overall positivity rate of 70.3%, a median antibody concentration of 192.05 (82.89–571.14) mIU/mL, and a positivity rate of 57.7% for one dose of vaccine and 84.2% for two doses. Antibody positivity rates at 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years after vaccination were 65.1%, 74.4%, 80.4%, 67.7%, and 63.0%, respectively. The GAMLSS results showed that VZV-IgG had a tendency to increase and then decrease after vaccination, and the second dose of vaccination could significantly increase VZV-IgG. In response to the constant power negative impedance characteristics on the load side of a ship DC microgrid, leading to voltage oscillation issues in the DC bus, this paper proposes a control optimization method based on impedance reshaping using bus voltage feedback. First, a simplified small-signal diagram of a lithium battery energy storage system converter is analyzed. Combining active damping control technology, an impedance regulator is introduced, and its parameters are optimized to effectively reduce the output impedance magnitude on the power source side. Subsequently, a ship DC microgrid simulation model is constructed using MATLAB R2022a/Simulink for validation, and comparative analysis is conducted on the anti-interference ability of the DC bus voltage before and after impedance reshaping. Finally, a model is built on a semi-physical simulation platform to experimentally verify the proposed method. The research results indicate that the proposed control optimization method can effectively increase the system's stability margin, suppress DC bus oscillations, and enhance the anti-interference ability of the ship DC microgrid's bus voltage when facing significant power load variations. Action recognition has found extensive applications in fields such as video classification and security monitoring. However, existing action recognition methods, such as those based on 3D convolutional neural networks, often struggle to capture comprehensive global information. Meanwhile, transformer-based approaches face challenges associated with excessively high computational complexity. We introduce a Multi-Scale Video Longformer network (MSVL), built upon the 3D Longformer architecture featuring a "local attention + global features" attention mechanism, enabling us to reduce computational complexity while preserving global modeling capabilities. Specifically, MSVL gradually reduces the video feature resolution and increases the feature dimensions across four stages. In the lower layers of the network (stage 1, stage 2), we leverage local window attention to alleviate local redundancy and computational demands. Concurrently, global tokens are employed to retain global features. In the higher layers of the network (stage 3, stage 4), this local window attention evolves into a dense computation mechanism, enhancing overall performance. Finally, extensive experiments are conducted on UCF101 (97.6%), HMDB51 (72.9%), and the assembly action dataset (100.0%), demonstrating the effectiveness and efficiency of the MSVL. Early social–behavioral intervention that emphasizes social skill training is critical to addressing emotional and behavioral problems in early childhood. In this meta-analysis review, we examined all the social skills intervention studies for preschoolers with, or at risk of, emotional and behavioral problems using group designs. This review included 25 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The robust variance estimation method was used to calculate the overall effect size of all the included studies, as this method can count for the pre-existing difference between the experiment and control groups. The included studies yielded an overall effect of 0.54 from the 151 effect sizes that were obtained for the 3484 preschool participants. Indiscriminate drug administration may lead to drug therapy results with varying effects on patients, and the proposal of personalized medication can help patients to receive effective drug therapy. Conventional ways of personalized medication, such as pharmacogenomics and therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), can only be implemented from a single perspective. The development of pharmacometabolomics provides a research method for the realization of precise drug administration, which integrates the environmental and genetic factors, and applies metabolomics technology to study how to predict different drug therapeutic responses of organisms based on baseline metabolic levels. The published research on pharmacometabolomics has achieved satisfactory results in predicting the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and the discovery of biomarkers of drugs. Among them, the pharmacokinetics related to pharmacometabolomics are used to explore individual variability in drug metabolism from the level of metabolism of the drugs in vivo and the level of endogenous metabolite changes. By searching for relevant literature with the keyword "pharmacometabolomics" on the two major literature retrieval websites, PubMed and Web of Science, from 2006 to 2023, we reviewed articles in the field of pharmacometabolomics that incorporated pharmacokinetics into their research. This review explains the therapeutic effects of drugs on the body from the perspective of endogenous metabolites and pharmacokinetic principles, and reports the latest advances in pharmacometabolomics related to pharmacokinetics to provide research ideas and methods for advancing the implementation of personalized medication. Fungal endophytes are harboured in the leaves of every individual plant host and contribute to plant health, leaf senescence, and early decomposition. In grasslands, fungal endophytes and their hosts often coexist with large herbivores. However, the influence of grazing by large herbivores on foliar fungal endophyte communities remains largely unexplored. We conducted a long-term (18 yr) grazing experiment to explore the effects of grazing on the community composition and diversity of the foliar fungal endophytes of two perennial grassland species (i.e., Artemisia capillaris and Stipa bungeana) across one growing season. Grazing significantly increased the mean fungal alpha diversity of A. capillaris in the early season. In contrast, grazing significantly reduced the mean fungal alpha diversity of endophytic fungi of S. bungeana in the late season. Grazing, growing season, and their interactions concurrently structured the community composition of the foliar fungal endophytes of both plant species. However, growing season consistently outperformed grazing and environmental factors in shaping the community composition and diversity of both plant species. Overall, our findings demonstrate that the foliar endophytic fungal community diversity and composition differed in response to grazing between A. capillaris and S. bungeana during one growing season. The focus on this difference will enhance our understanding of grazing's impact on ecological systems and improve land management practices in grazing regions. This variation in the effects of leaf nutrients and plant community characteristics on foliar endophytic fungal community diversity and composition may have a pronounced impact on plant health and plant–fungal interactions. In grassland ecosystems, the occurrence and transmission of foliar fungal diseases are largely dependent on grazing by large herbivores. However, whether herbivores that have different body sizes differentially impact foliar fungal diseases remains largely unexplored. Thus, we conducted an 8-year grazing experiment in an alpine grassland on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau in China and tested how different types of livestock (sheep (Ovis aries), yak (Bos grunniens), or both)) affected foliar fungal diseases at the levels of both plant population and community. At the population level, grazing by a single species (yak or sheep) or mixed species (sheep and yak) significantly decreased the severity of eight leaf spot diseases. Similarly, at the community level, both single species (yak or sheep) and mixed grazing by both sheep and yak significantly decreased the community pathogen load. However, we did not find a significant difference in the community pathogen load among different types of livestock. These results suggest that grazing by large herbivores, independently of livestock type, consistently decreased the prevalence of foliar fungal diseases at both the plant population and community levels. We suggest that moderate grazing by sheep or yak is effective to control the occurrence of foliar fungal diseases in alpine grasslands. Root traits and arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi are important in determining the access of plants to soil resources. However, whether plants with different root systems (i.e., taproot vs. fibrous-root) exhibit different root trait plasticity and mycorrhizal responsiveness under drought remains largely unexplored. Tap-rooted Lespedeza davurica and fibrous-rooted Stipa bungeana were grown in monocultures in sterilized and live soils, followed by a drought treatment. Biomass, root traits, root colonization by AM fungi, and nutrient availability were evaluated. Drought decreased biomass and root diameter but increased the root:shoot ratio (RSR), specific root length (SRL), soil NO3−-N, and available P for the two species. Under control and drought conditions, soil sterilization significantly increased the RSR, SRL, and soil NO3−-N for L. davurica, but this only occurs under drought condition for S. bungeana. Soil sterilization significantly reduced AM fungal root colonization of both species, but drought significantly increased it in live soil. In water-abundant conditions, tap-rooted L. davurica may depend more on AM fungi than fibrous-rooted S. bungeana; however, under drought conditions, AM fungi are of equal importance in favoring both plant species to forage soil resources. Most osteoporosis (OP) fracture accidents in men are due not only to a low BMD but also because of unhealthy muscle support. However, there has been a limited number of reports about how muscle metabolism is disturbed by OP in males. In this work, a pathway analysis based on metabolomic research was carried out to fill this gap. A classical orchiectomy procedure was adapted to create an OP animal model. A micro-CT and pathological section were applied for a bone and muscle phenotype assessment and a pathology analysis. UPLC-Q-TOF/MS and UPLC-QQQ-MS/MS were applied to measure metabolites in skeletal muscle samples among groups. In total, 31 significantly differential metabolites were detected by comparing healthy models and OP animals, and 7 representative metabolites among the 31 significantly differential metabolites were identified and validated experimentally by UPLC-QQQ-MS/MS (xanthine, L-phenylalanine, choline, hypoxanthine, L-tryptophan, succinic acid, and L-tyrosine). An ingenuity pathway analysis (IPA) analysis revealed significantly enriched pathways involved in inflammation, oxidative stress, and necrosis. To our best knowledge, this is the first study to investigate early muscle disorder processes in Cases of OP at a metabolic level, facilitating early intervention and protection from OP fractures for aged men. Attached to the outer surface of the corneocyte lipid envelope (CLE), omega-hydroxy ceramides (ω-OH-Cer) link to involucrin and function as lipid components of the stratum corneum (SC). The integrity of the skin barrier is highly dependent on the lipid components of SC, especially on ω-OH-Cer. Synthetic ω-OH-Cer supplementation has been utilized in clinical practice for epidermal barrier injury and related surgeries. However, the mechanism discussion and analyzing methods are not keeping pace with its clinical application. Though mass spectrometry (MS) is the primary choice for biomolecular analysis, method modifications for ω-OH-Cer identification are lacking in progress. Therefore, finding conclusions on ω-OH-Cer biological function, as well as on its identification, means it is vital to remind further researchers of how the following work should be done. This review summarizes the important role of ω-OH-Cer in epidermal barrier functions and the forming mechanism of ω-OH-Cer. The decolorization of azo dye Orange II using a UVA-Fe3+-PMS-oxalate system was studied. A series of experiments was performed to investigate the effects of several variables, including the pH, PMS dosage, Fe3+ concentration, oxalate concentration, and coexisting anions. The results revealed that a lower pH facilitated the decolorization, and relatively high decolorization efficiency (97.5%) could be achieved within 5 min at pH 3.0. The electron paramagnetic resonance (ESR) and radical quenching experiments revealed that SO4•− played a crucial role in the decolorization of Orange II (85.8%), •OH was of secondary importance (9%), and 1O2 made a small contribution to the decolorization (5.2%). Furthermore, the formation of •OH in the experimental system strongly depended on HO2•/O2•−. These reactive oxidants were able to directly attack the azo bond of the luminescent group in Orange II and initiate the decolorization process. Pairs of lepton and antilepton (dilepton) in a continuous mass range are one of the most experimentally challenging and golden probes of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) produced in heavy ion collisions because they do not strongly interact with the hot and dense medium, and reflect the properties of the medium at the time the dilepton is generated. The measurements of dileptons require lepton identification with high purity and high efficiency at large detector acceptance. STAR is one of two large experiments at the relativistic heavy ion collider with a primary goal of searching for the QGP and studying its properties. The STAR experiment launched a comprehensive dielectron ( e + e − ) program enabled by the time-of-flight (TOF) detector that had been fully installed in 2010. In this article, we review the decade-long R & D , the construction and performance of the STAR TOF detector, and dielectron measurements, including thermal dielectron production and dielectron production from the Breit–Wheeler process. One effective treatment for postmenopausal osteoporosis is to inhibit osteoclasts and subsequent bone resorption. In our study, we demonstrated that acacetin, a flavone with potential therapeutic effects in infections, cancers, and several metabolic disorders, inhibited osteoclast differentiation and bone resorption in vitro. For improving the efficacy of acacetin in vivo, we developed an acid-sensitive bone-targeting delivery system composed of an acid-sensitive linker (N-ε-maleimidocaproic acid hydrazide, EMCH) for ensuring an effective release of acacetin at the site of action and a hydrophilic aspartic acid hexapeptide ((Asp)6, D6) as the effective bone targeting agent. Our results revealed that Acacetin-EMCH-D6 specifically bound to the bone surface once administrated in vivo, prolonged the retention time in bone and released acacetin at the osteoclastic bone resorption sites where the acidity is higher. We further demonstrated that, in ovariectomy-induced osteoporosis mice, treatment with Acacetin-EMCH-D6 inhibited osteoclast formation and increased trabecular bone mass. On the contrary, neither acacetin nor EMCH-D6 with the same dosage alone showed significant anti-osteoporosis effects in vivo. Mechanistically, targeted delivery of acacetin to the bone resorption sites by Acacetin-EMCH-D6 inhibited autophagy through activating PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway in osteoclasts, while the activation of autophagy by rapamycin partially reversed the inhibitory effects of acacetin in vitro and in vivo. In summary, our study, for the first time, showed that the acid-sensitive bone-targeting delivery system carrying acacetin was effective for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Controlled buckling of colloidal droplets via acoustic levitation plays an important role in pharmaceutical, coating, and material self-assembly. In this study, the evaporation process of PTFE colloidal droplets with two particle concentrations (60 wt% and 20 wt%) was investigated under acoustic levitation. We report the occurrence of surface invagination caused by evaporation. For the high particle concentration droplet, the upper surface was invaginated, eventually forming a bowl-shaped structure. While for the low particle concentration droplet, both the upper and lower surfaces of the droplet were invaginated, resulting in a doughnut-like structure. For the acoustically levitated oblate spherical droplet, the dispersant loss at the equatorial area of the droplet is greater than that at the two poles. Therefore, the thickness of the solid shell on the surface of the droplet was not uniform, resulting in invagination at the weaker pole area. Moreover, once the droplet surface was buckling, the hollow cavity on the droplet surface would absorb the sound energy and results in strong positive acoustic radiation pressure at bottom of the invagination, thus further prompting the invagination process. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) autonomous approaching and landing on mobile platforms always play an important role in various application scenarios. Such a complicated autonomous task requires an integrated multi-sensor system to guarantee environmental adaptability in contrast to using each sensor individually. Multi-sensor fusion perception demonstrates great feasibility to compensate for adverse visual events, undesired vibrations of inertia sensors, and satellite positioning loss. In this paper, a UAV autonomous landing scheme based on multi-sensor fusion is proposed. In particular, Ultra Wide-Band (UWB) sensor, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), and vision feedback are integrated to guide the UAV to approach and land on a moving object. In the approaching stage, a UWB-IMU-based sensor fusion algorithm is proposed to provide relative position estimation of vehicles with real time and high consistency. Such a sensor integration addresses the open challenge of inaccurate satellite positioning when the UAV is near the ground. It can also be extended to satellite-denied environmental applications. When the landing platform is detected by the onboard camera, the UAV performs autonomous landing. In the landing stage, the vision sensor is involved. With the visual feedback, a deep-learning-based detector and local pose estimator are enabled when the UAV approaches the landing platform. To validate the feasibility of the proposed autonomous landing scheme, both simulation and real-world experiments in extensive scenes are performed. In this article, we reported on a Ga2O3-based Schottky barrier diode and heterojunction diode from MOCVD. The Si-doped n-type Ga2O3 drift layer, grown by MOCVD, exhibited high crystal quality, flat surfaces, and uniform doping. The distribution of unintentional impurities in the films was studied. Then nickel Schottky barrier diode and p-NiO/n-Ga2O3 heterojunction diode were fabricated and measured. Without any electric field management structure, the Schottky barrier diode and heterojunction diode have specific resistances of 3.0 mΩ·cm2 and 6.2 mΩ·cm2, breakdown voltages of 380 V and 740 V, thus yielding power figures of merit of 48 MW·cm−2 and 88 MW·cm−2, respectively. To solve the problem of the insufficient accuracy and stability of the two-stage pose estimation algorithm using heatmap in the problem of occluded object pose estimation, a new robust 6-DoF pose estimation algorithm under hybrid constraints is proposed in this paper. First, a new loss function suitable for heatmap regression is formulated to improve the quality of the predicted heatmaps and increase keypoint accuracy in complex scenes. Second, the heatmap regression network is expanded and a translation regression branch is added to constrain the pose further. Finally, a robust pose optimization module is used to fuse the heatmap and translation estimates and improve the pose estimation accuracy. The proposed algorithm achieves ADD(-S) accuracy rates of 93.5% and 46.2% on the LINEMOD dataset and the Occlusion LINEMOD dataset, which are better than other state-of-the-art algorithms. Compared with the conventional two-stage heatmap-based pose estimation algorithms, the mean estimation error is greatly reduced, and the stability of pose estimation is improved. Complicated soil conditions are direct difficulties for high-rise building projects. A new device called a deformation adjustor, which is used to optimize the stiffness distribution in the piled raft system, has achieved good results for this challenge. This paper presents a case study on the application of deformation adjustors to improve the performance of a piled raft foundation. This case study describes the preliminary design of pile-raft foundations with deformation adjustors, followed by numerical analysis. Based on the numerical study, the potential savings are demonstrated due to the good performance of soil bearing capacity. Comparing the numerical results with the monitoring results in raft settlements, earth pressures, deformation amount of deformation adjustors, pile top reactions, and load-sharing ratios between soils and piles, the accuracy of the design schemes with an aided numerical analysis is verified. Through a long-term monitoring, soils below the raft carried 63% of the total applied loads, while the piles bear 37% of the loads. This case study proved that a piled raft foundation with deformation adjustors was an effective and economical design scheme, which can make full use of the soil bearing capacity. Background and Objectives: This study aims to detect the prevalence of sarcopenia in community-dwelling older adults in Hunan Province, discuss factors related to lifestyle, and provide a reliable basis for the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia. Materials and Methods: In this study, a total of 1040 community-dwelling adults ≥ 60 years were examined for sarcopenia using a cluster stratified random sampling method, which was defined using the diagnostic criteria recommended by the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) from September 2019 to March 2020. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was applied to determine the correlation between sarcopenia and smoking, drinking, nutritional status, physical activity, and sleep quality. Results: A total of 27.1% of the older adults were diagnosed with sarcopenia, with rates of 26.2% in men and 25.2% in women. Multiple logistic regression showed that advanced age (OR = 2.480, 95% CI: 1.730, 3.553), the risk of malnutrition (OR = 2.085, 95% CI: 1.440, 3.019), and malnutrition (OR = 1.212, 95% CI: 0.304, 4.834) were risk factors for sarcopenia. No falls in the previous year (OR = 0.616, 95% CI: 1.885, 1.209), normal weight (OR = 0.228, 95% CI: 0.109, 0.475), overweight (OR = 0.030, 95% CI: 0.013, 0.069), moderate physical activity (OR = 0.593, 95% CI: 0.377, 0.933), or high physical activity (OR = 0.417, 95% CI: 0.230, 0.755) were identified as protective factors for sarcopenia. Conclusions: The prevalence of sarcopenia was high among older adults in the community in Hunan Province. In addition, we found that lifestyle is an important factor in sarcopenia. Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. conglutinans (FOC), the causal agent of cabbage fusarium wilt, is a serious threat to cabbage production in northern China, and most Chinese FOC isolates were identified as FOC race 1 (FOC1). To better understand the genetic diversity of FOC1 in northern China, we collected FOC isolates from five provinces in northern China and identified them as FOC1 through pathogenicity and race test. To evaluate the genome-level diversity of FOC1, we performed a genome assembly for a FOC1 isolate (FoYQ-1) collected from Yanqing, Beijing, where cabbage fusarium wilt was first reported in China. Using resequencing data of FOC1 isolates, we conducted a genome-wide SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) analysis to investigate the genetic diversity and population structure of FOC1 isolates in northern China. Our study indicated that Chinese FOC1 can be grouped into four populations and revealed that the genetic diversity of FOC1 were closely associated with geographical locations. Our study further suggests that genetic differentiation occurred when FOC1 spread to the northwest provinces from Beijing Province in China. For unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), landing on a moving vehicle robustly is an open challenge, especially under cluttered surroundings with the presence of unknown obstacles. Those undesired environmental factors could induce collisions and thus affect flight safety significantly. Currently, there are few solutions to address such a challenge. In this paper, we propose a systematic autonomous landing scheme that enables the robust autonomous landing performance of a quadrotor UAV. The proposed scheme integrates target detection, state estimation, trajectory planning, and landing control. The position and attitude information of the target ground vehicle and the test quadrotor are estimated by the onboard vision system and GPS. In order to detect landing markers at different altitudes, a particular landing pad with an Apriltag bundle is implemented. As a typical aerial–terrestrial cooperation system, the trajectory planner of the quadrotor updates continuously to avoid obstacles via real-time sensing and re-planning. A finite state machine is used to label the current flight status and triggers the control laws correspondingly. Uneven illumination and space radiation can cause inhomogeneous grayscale distribution, low contrast, and noisy images in in-orbit cameras. A binarization algorithm based on morphological classification is proposed to solve the problem of inaccurate image binarization caused by space image degradation. Traditional local binarization algorithms generally calculate thresholds based on statistical information of gray dimensions within the local window, often ignoring the morphological distribution information, leading to poor results in degraded images. The algorithm presented in this paper demonstrates the property of the side window filtering (SWF) kernel on morphological clustering. First, the eight-dimensional SWF convolution kernel is used to describe the morphological properties of the pixels. Then, the positive and negative types of each pixel in the local window are identified, and the local threshold is calculated according to the difference between the two types. Finally, the positive pixel is used to filter the threshold of each pixel, with the binarization threshold satisfying the morphologically smooth and continuous property. A self-built dataset is used to evaluate the algorithm quantitatively and the results are compared with the three existing classical techniques using the quantitative measures FM, PSNR, and DRD. The experimental results show that the algorithm in this paper yields good binarization results for different degraded images, outperforms the comparison algorithm in terms of accuracy and robustness, and is insensitive to noise. Bubble dynamics plays a significant role in a wide range of industrial fields, such as food, pharmacy and chemical engineering. The physicochemical properties of complex fluids can greatly affect the speed with which bubbles rise, and the lifetime of bubbles, which in turn can affect the efficiency of food and drug manufacturing and also sewage purification. Therefore, it is of great scientific and practical significance to study the influence mechanism of nanoparticles and surfactants on bubble rising and impact in a complex fluid interface. This paper selects a mixed dispersion liquid of nanoparticles (SiO2) and a surfactant (SDS) as the objects of the study, observes in real-time the entire processes of bubbles rising, impact at the gas-liquid interface, and rupture, and analyzes the dynamic mechanism of bubble impact in a complex fluid interface. By analyzing the morphological changes of the rising bubbles, the rising velocity and the lifetime of the bubbles, it is found that the surfactant molecules are distributed in the ultrapure water liquid pool and the liquid film surrounding the bubbles. Such distribution can reduce the viscoelasticity between bubbles and the liquid surface, and lower the surface tension of the liquid, which can reduce the rising velocity of bubbles, delay the drainage process of bubbles on a liquid surface, and enhance the lifetime of bubbles. If the liquid surface is covered with nanoparticles, a reticulate structure will be formed on the bubble liquid film, which can inhibit bubble discharge and prolong bubble lifetime. Cownose rays have a high forward propulsive performance due to their unique oscillating fin structure (named the cross-bracing structure), which differs from undulatory fish. The cross-bracing structure obtained through anatomy, on the other hand, is extremely complex. Hence, researchers used simple structures to model the biological structure to target the individual factors that affect cownose ray cruising performance. This paper simplified the cross-bracing fin structure to a cross-joints fin (CJF) structure with 18 designs. CJFs had five different joint widths (2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm) in both spanwise and chordwise directions, and these had two fin thicknesses (1.5 mm, 2.5 mm). The joint widths of CJF are related to the stiffness of the spanwise and chordwise fins (Fin stiffness increases with joint width). The experiments were conducted in a still water tank (1.5 m × 0.8 m × 0.8 m) with three stroke amplitudes (30°, 50°, 70°) and three flapping frequencies (0.4 Hz, 0.6 Hz, 0.8 Hz) for each fin, making up 162 distinct sets of data. The experimental results showed the following: (1) at low wingtip Reynolds numbers, the high stiffness of the CJF causes a significant reduction in thrust. In particular, high stiffness results in a low thrust averaged from all motion parameters; (2) at high wing tip Reynolds numbers, the effect of changing spanwise stiffness on thrust is more significant than the effect of changing chordwise stiffness. This paper compares the effects of spanwise and chordwise stiffness on thrust performance, indicating that the magnitude of spanwise stiffness should be considered when designing the bionic oscillating pectoral fin structure. Oscillating pectoral fins' spanwise flexibility is a key factor influencing the forwarding propulsion performance of bionic cownose rays, including thrust and heave-pitch stability. This study explores the effects of the bionic pectoral fin ray's spanwise flexibility on its propulsion performance via experiments. Inspired by the cownose ray, a pair of bionic pectoral fins with fin rays and fabric skin was designed, and two motors drive the controllable flapping motion. The bionic pectoral fins' flexibility can be quantified by using fin rays' bending stiffness. The experiments were carried out in a water tank to measure the thrust, the lift force, and the pitch moment of the bionic cownose ray. The fin rays are divided into plastic sheets of five thicknesses and three fin rays with more obvious stiffness variations. The movement parameters included the following: the flapping frequency of 0.3–0.7 Hz, the flapping amplitude of 20–40°, and the phase difference of 20–40°. The experimental results show that the stiffness of the bionic pectoral fin rays plays an important role in the thrust, lift force, and pitch moment. The fin rays with high stiffness root segment and low stiffness tip segment have lower lift and pitch moment while maintaining a high thrust. Although Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) generally provide adequate accuracy for outdoor localization, this is not the case for indoor environments, due to signal obstruction. Therefore, a self-contained localization scheme is beneficial under such circumstances. Modern sensors and algorithms endow moving robots with the capability to perceive their environment, and enable the deployment of novel localization schemes, such as odometry, or Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM). The former focuses on incremental localization, while the latter stores an interpretable map of the environment concurrently. In this context, this paper conducts a comprehensive review of sensor modalities, including Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), radio detection and ranging (radar), and cameras, as well as applications of polymers in these sensors, for indoor odometry. Furthermore, analysis and discussion of the algorithms and the fusion frameworks for pose estimation and odometry with these sensors are performed. Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is the standard therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer (PCa). PCa often responds to ADT and enters a dormancy period, which can be recognized clinically as a minimal residual disease. However, the majority of these patients will eventually experience a relapse in the form of castration-resistant PCa with poor survival. Therefore, ADT-induced dormancy is a unique time window for treatment that can provide a cure. The study of this well-recognized phase of prostate cancer progression is largely hindered by the scarcity of appropriate clinical tissue and clinically relevant preclinical models. Here, we report the utility of unique and clinically relevant patient-derived xenograft models in the study of the intrinsic immune landscape of dormant PCa. Using data from RNA sequencing, we have reconstructed the immune evasion mechanisms that can be utilized by dormant PCa cells. Since dormant PCa cells need to evade the host immune surveillance for survival, our results provide a framework for further study and for devising immunomodulatory mechanisms that can eliminate dormant PCa cells. The homoepitaxial Si-doped Ga2O3 film prepared by metal–organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) was reported in this paper. The film thickness reached 4.5 microns, a relatively high value for MOCVD. The full width at half maxima of the (002) diffraction plane of the film was 26.3 arcsec, thus showing high crystalline quality. The film showed n−-type properties with a doping concentration of 3.6 × 1016 cm−3 and electron mobility of 137 cm2/V·s. In addition, the element composition and stress state of the film were characterized and analyzed. The structure, morphology, fracture toughness and flaw sensitivity length scale of chain-extended poly(butylene succinate) with various pre-stretch ratios were studied. PBS modification adopted from a multifunctional, commercially available chain-extension containing nine epoxy groups (ADR9) as the first step chain extension and hydroxyl addition modified dioxazoline (BOZ) as the second step. Time-temperature superposition (TTS) studies show that the viscosity increased sharply and the degree of molecular branching increased. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) confirm successful chain extension reactions. The orientation of the polymer in the pre-stretch state is such that spherulites deformation along the stretching direction was observed by polarized light optical microscopy (PLOM). The fracture toughness of sample (λfix = 5) is Γ ≈ 106 J m-2 and its critical flaw sensitivity length scale is Γ/Wc ≈ 0.01 m, approximately 5 times higher than PBS without chain-extension (Γ ≈ 2 × 105 J m-2 and Γ/Wc ≈ 0.002 m, respectively). The notch sensitivity of chain-extended PBS is significantly reduced, which is due to the orientation of spherulites more effectively preventing crack propagation. Microbial administration has been used successfully to improve host health. However, the positive effects of endogenous microbials are still underexplored. This study investigated the effects of bovine Lactic acid bacteria and yeast on the milk production, quality and digestive tract microbiome of dairy cows. Lactobacillus plantarum Y9, Pichia kudriavzevii T7 and Candida glabrata B14 isolated from high-yielding dairy cows were selected to feed low-yielding Holstein cows. Pichia kudriavzevii T7 could significantly increase milk yield, meanwhile, Pichia kudriavzevii T7 and Candida glabrata B14 could obviously reduce the number of somatic cell counts (SCC). However, slight differences were found in milk fat, protein, lactose and SNF (solids not fat) percentage. High throughput sequencing showed that the dominant bacteria were Prevotella and Ruminococcaceae in rumen and feces, respectively, and the dominant fungi were Penicillium, Aspergillus and Trichoderma in both samples, before and after feeding the microbial addition. Nonetheless, microbial addition changed the abundance and structure of the microbiome in the digestive tract. Our data showed bovine yeast and LAB were beneficial for improving performance and regulating the microbial structure of dairy cows. This study was expected to enrich the knowledge of the digestive tract microbiome in dairy cows and provide a feasible strategy for the further utilization of bovine microorganisms. There are a few isolated structures that have been subjected to seismic testing. An isolated structure is incapable of tracking, adjusting, and controlling its dynamic characteristics. As a result, field evaluations of solitary structures' dynamic characteristics are important. The horizontal initial displacement of a base isolation kindergarten made of 46 isolation bearings is 75 mm. The method for creating the horizontal initial displacement condition is illustrated, as are the primary test findings. Horizontal initial displacement is accomplished with the assistance of a reaction wall, rods, and hydraulic pump system. To begin, we removed the building using hydraulic jacks to produce horizontal displacement of the isolation layer and then attached rods to support the building. The rods were then shot and unloaded, causing the building to shake freely, and its dynamic response and other parameters were tested. The results indicate that the natural vibration period of an isolated structure is much greater than the natural vibration period of a seismic structure. The isolation layer's hysteretic curve as completely filled; upon unloading, the isolation layer as promptly reset; the dynamic response control effect of each was visible, but the top floor's acceleration was magnified by approximately 1.27 times. Nonribosomal peptides from marine Bacillus strains have received considerable attention for their complex structures and potent bioactivities. In this study, we carried out PCR-based genome mining for potential nonribosomal peptides producers from our marine bacterial library. Twenty-one "positive" strains were screened out from 180 marine bacterial strains, and subsequent small-scale fermentation, HPLC and phylogenetic analysis afforded Bacillus sp. PKU-MA00092 and PKU-MA00093 as two candidates for large-scale fermentation and isolation. Ten nonribosomal peptides, including four bacillibactin analogues (1-4) and six bacillomycin D analogues (5-10) were discovered from Bacillus sp. PKU-MA00093 and PKU-MA00092, respectively. Compounds 1 and 2 are two new compounds and the 1H NMR and 13C NMR data of compounds 7 and 9 is first provided. All compounds 1-10 were assayed for their cytotoxicities against human cancer cell lines HepG2 and MCF7, and the bacillomycin D analogues 7-10 showed moderate cytotoxicities with IC50 values from 2.9 ± 0.1 to 8.2 ± 0.2 μM. The discovery of 5-10 with different fatty acid moieties gave us the opportunity to reveal the structure-activity relationships of bacillomycin analogues against these human cancer cell lines. The formation of brain vasculature is an essential step during central nervous system development. The molecular mechanism underlying brain angiogenesis remains incompletely understood. The role of Atg7, an autophagy-related protein, in brain angiogenesis was investigated in this study. We found that the microvessel density in mice brains with endothelial-specific knockout of Atg7 (Atg7 EKO) was significantly decreased compared to wild-type control. Consistently, in vitro angiogenesis assays showed that Atg7 knockdown impaired angiogenesis in brain microvascular endothelial cells. Further results indicated that knockdown of Atg7 reduced interleukin-6 (IL-6) expression in brain microvascular endothelial cells, which is mediated by NF-κB-dependent transcriptional control. Interestingly, exogenous IL-6 restored the impaired angiogenesis and reduced cell motility caused by Atg7 knockdown. Osteoporosis (OP) is a systemic bone disease characterized by decreased bone strength, microarchitectural changes in bone tissues, and increased risk of fracture. Its occurrence is closely related to various factors such as aging, genetic factors, living habits, and nutritional deficiencies as well as the disturbance of bone homeostasis. The dysregulation of bone metabolism is regarded as one of the key influencing factors causing OP. Cholesterol oxidation products (COPs) are important compounds in the maintenance of bone metabolic homeostasis by participating in several important biological processes such as the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells, bone formation in osteoblasts, and bone resorption in osteoclasts. The effects of specific COPs on mesenchymal stem cells are mainly manifested by promoting osteoblast genesis and inhibiting adipocyte genesis. This review aims to elucidate the biological roles of COPs in OP development, starting from the molecular mechanisms of OP, pointing out opportunities and challenges in current research, and providing new ideas and perspectives for further studies of OP pathogenesis. Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the most threatening diseases in women. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been reported to be cancer hallmarks, but typical circRNAs in CC were rarely indicated. Through high-throughput sequencing in CC and normal cervix tissues, circYPEL2 (hsa_circ_0005600) was proposed as a candidate circRNA. CircYPEL2 exhibited significantly high expression in CC tissue and strong stability in CC cell lines. Furthermore, knockdown and overexpression of circYPEL2 indicated the potential involvement in CC proliferation, migration and invasion. Finally, the downstream regulatory genes of circYPEL2 were investigated by knockdown experiment in CC cell lines with high-throughput sequencing. Molecular dynamics (MD) simulation is a particularly useful technique in food processing. Normally, food processing techniques can be optimized to favor the creation of higher-quality, safer, more functional, and more nutritionally valuable food products. Modeling food processes through the application of MD simulations, namely, the Groningen Machine for Chemical Simulations (GROMACS) software package, is helpful in achieving a better understanding of the structural changes occurring at the molecular level to the biomolecules present in food products during processing. MD simulations can be applied to define the optimal processing conditions required for a given food product to achieve a desired function or state. This review presents the development history of MD simulations, provides an in-depth explanation of the concept and mechanisms employed through the running of a GROMACS simulation, and outlines certain recent applications of GROMACS MD simulations in the food industry for the modeling of proteins in food products, including peanuts, hazelnuts, cow's milk, soybeans, egg whites, PSE chicken breast, and kiwifruit. Postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) and sarcopenia are common diseases that predominantly affect postmenopausal women. In the occurrence and development of these two diseases, they are potentially pathologically connected with each other at various molecular levels. However, the application of metabolomics in sarco-osteoporosis and the metabolic rewiring happening throughout the estrogen loss-replenish process have not been reported. To investigate the metabolic alteration of sarco-osteoporosis and the possible therapeutical effects of estradiol, 24 mice were randomly divided into sham surgery, ovariectomy (OVX), and estradiol-treated groups. Three-dimensional reconstructions and histopathology examination showed significant bone loss after ovariectomy. Estrogen can well protect against OVX-induced bone loss deterioration. UHPLC-Q-TOF/MS was preformed to profile semi- polar metabolites of skeletal muscle samples from all groups. Metabolomics analysis revealed metabolic rewiring occurred in OVX group, most of which can be reversed by estrogen supplementation. In total, 65 differential metabolites were identified, and pathway analysis revealed that sarco-osteoporosis was related to the alterations in purine metabolism, glycerophospholipid metabolism, arginine biosynthesis, tryptophan metabolism, histidine metabolism, oxidative phosphorylation, and thermogenesis, which provided possible explanations for the metabolic mechanism of sarco-osteoporosis. This study indicates that an UHPLC-Q-TOF/MS-based metabolomics approach can elucidate the metabolic reprogramming mechanisms of sarco-osteoporosis and provide biological evidence of the therapeutical effects of estrogen on sarco-osteoporosis. This study investigated monthly variations of surface urban heat island intensity (SUHII) and the applicability of the local climate zones (LCZ) scheme for land surface temperature (LST) differentiation within three spatial contexts, including urban, rural and their combination, in Shenyang, China, a city with a monsoon-influenced humid continental climate. The monthly SUHII and LST of Shenyang were obtained through 12 LST images, with one in each month (within the period between 2018 and 2020), retrieved from the Thermal InfraRed Sensor (TIRS) 10 in Landsat 8 based on a split window algorithm. Non-parametric analysis of Kruskal-Wallis H test and a multiple pairwise comparison were adopted to investigate the monthly LST differentiations with LCZs. Overall, the SUHII and the applicability of the LCZ scheme exhibited spatiotemporal variations. July and August were the two months when Shenyang underwent strong heat island effects. Shenyang underwent a longer period of cool than heat island effects, occurring from November to May. June and October were the transition months of cool–heat and heat–cool island phenomena, respectively. The SUHII analysis was dependent on the definition of urban and rural boundaries, where a smaller rural buffering zone resulted in a weaker SUHI or surface urban cool island (SUCI) phenomenon and a larger urban area corresponded to a weaker SUHI or SUCI phenomenon as well. The LST of LCZs did not follow a fixed order, where in July and August, the LCZ-10 (Heavy industry) had the highest mean LST, followed by LCZ-2 (Compact midrise) and then LCZ-7 (Lightweight low-rise). In comparison, LCZ-7, LCZ-8 (Large low-rise) and LCZ-9 (Sparsely built) had the highest LST from October to May. The LST of LCZs varied with urban and rural contexts, where LCZ-7, LCZ-8 and LCZ -10 were the three built LCZs that had the highest LST within urban context, while LCZ-2, LCZ-3 (Compact low-rise), LCZ-8, LCZ-9 and LCZ-10 were the five built LCZs that had the highest LST within rural context. The suitability of the LCZ scheme for temperature differentiation varied with the month, where from July to October, the LCZ scheme had the strongest capability and in May, it had the weakest capability. Urban context also made a difference to the suitability, where compared with the whole study area (the combination of urban and rural areas), the suitability of built LCZs in either urban or rural contexts weakened. Moreover, the built LCZs had a higher level of suitability in an urban context compared with a rural context, while the land-cover LCZs within rural had a higher level of suitability. A representative congener of polybrominated diphenyl ethers in the environment, 2,2′,4,4′-tetrabromodiphenyl ether (BDE-47), is associated with male reproductive toxicity, yet the underlying mechanisms remain largely unclear. In this study, mice were administered environmentally relevant concentrations of BDE-47 for six weeks. Histopathological observations showed that BDE-47 induced inflammatory reactions and damaged the testes. By conducting an integrated proteomic and metabolomic analysis coupled with a bioinformatic analysis using ingenuity pathway analysis (IPA) methods, we found that BDE-47 mainly affected the molecules involved in free radical scavenging, cell death and survival, neurological disease, and inflammatory response. IPA canonical pathways showed inflammatory and apoptosis pathways, including hepatic fibrosis/hepatic stellate cell activation, the GP6 signaling pathway, tight junction signaling, acute phase response signaling, LXR/RXR activation, unfolded protein response, and FXR/RXR activation, which are related to male reproductive toxicity. Key transcriptional regulator networks were activated via a focus on upstream regulator analysis. The expression of MYC and Clu as the core transcriptional factor and targeted protein, respectively, was verified. It is further proposed that MYC may contribute to the etiology of male reproductive toxicity. The chemical fungicide fludioxonil is widely used to control post-harvest fungal disease in cherries. This study was implemented to investigate the dissipation behaviours and residues of fludioxonil on cherries. A reliable and efficient analytical method was established. Cherry samples from four product areas were analyzed by QuEChERS and HPLC-MS/MS methods with acceptable linearity (R2 > 0.99), accuracy (recoveries of 81–94%), and precision (relative standard deviation of 2.5–11.9%). The limits of quantification (LOQs) and limits of detection (LODs) of cherries were 0.01 mg/kg and 0.005 mg/kg. The dissipation of fludioxonil on cherries followed first order kinetics with half-lives of 33.7–44.7 days. The terminal residues of fludioxonil were all lower than 5.00 mg/kg, which is the MRL recommended by the European Commission. According to Chinese dietary patterns and terminal residue distributions, the risk quotient (RQs) of fludioxonil was 0.61%, revealing that the evaluated cherries exhibited an acceptably low dietary risk to consumers. To obtain high-quality n-type doped β-Ga2O3 films, silane was used as an n-type dopant to grow Si-doped β-Ga2O3 films on (100) β-Ga2O3 substrates by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). The electron concentrations of the Si-doped β-Ga2O3 films obtained through experiments can be stably controlled in the range of 6.5 × 1016 cm−3 to 2.6 × 1019 cm−3, and the ionization energy of Si donors is about 30 meV, as determined by analysis and calculation. The full width at half maxima of the rocking curves of the (400) crystal plane of all doped films was less than 500 arcsec, thus showing high crystal quality, while the increase of the doping concentration increased the defect density in the β-Ga2O3 films, which had an adverse effect on the crystal quality and surface morphology of the films. Compared with heteroepitaxial Si-doped β-Ga2O3 films, homoepitaxial Si-doped β-Ga2O3 films exhibited higher quality, lower defect density, and more stable electron concentration, which make them more conductive for preparing Ga2O3-based power devices.
