Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench) pod storage is challenging due to its high water content and tendency to lignify. Sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS) served as an H2S donor in this investigation. Compared with the control group, the group treated with 0.5 mmol/L NaHS solution effectively maintained the appearance quality, and its weight loss was only 6.21% at 20 days. The H2S treatment not only preserved tissue nutrients but also significantly enhanced catalase (CAT), ascorbic acid peroxidase (APX), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities while decreasing oxidant damage. In addition, H2S slowed down lignin synthesis by inhibiting the activities of key enzymes such as phenylalanine ammonialyase (PAL), cinnamate 4-hydroxylase (C4H), and cinnamyl alcohol dehydrogenase (CAD) in the lignin biosynthesis pathway. Transcriptome analysis revealed that H2S affects 34 genes in the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathway, such as AePAL, Ae4CL1, AeCCOAOMT1, AePOD, etc., which inhibit lignin synthesis of okra pods. All in all, moderate H2S can improve postharvest quality and extend the shelf-life of okra pods by enhancing antioxidant capacity and delaying lignification; the results will provide an overview of its application in the preservation of okra pods. Excessive blood loss could lead to pathological conditions such as tissue necrosis, organ failure, and death. The limitations of recently developed hemostatic approaches, such as their low mechanical strength, inadequate wet tissue adhesion, and weak hemostatic activity, pose challenges for their application in controlling visceral bleeding. In this study, a novel hydrogel (CT) made of collagen and tannic acid (TA) was proposed. By altering the proportions between the two materials, the mechanical properties, adhesion, and coagulation ability were evaluated. Compared to commercial hydrogels, this hydrogel has shown reduced blood loss and shorter hemostatic time in rat hepatic and cardiac bleeding models. This was explained by the hydrogel's natural hemostatic properties and the significant benefits of wound closure in a moist environment. Better biodegradability was achieved through the non-covalent connection between tannic acid and collagen, allowing for hemostasis without hindering subsequent tissue repair. Therefore, this hydrogel is a new method for visceral hemostasis that offers significant advantages in treating acute wounds and controlling major bleeding. Osteoporotic fractures are induced by osteoporosis, which may lead to the degradation of bone tissues and microstructures and impair their healing ability. Conventional internal fixation therapies are ineffective in the treatment of osteoporotic fractures. Hence, developing tissue engineering materials is crucial for repairing osteoporotic fractures. It has been demonstrated that nanomaterials, particularly graphene oxide (GO), possess unique advantages in tissue engineering due to their excellent biocompatibility, mechanical properties, and osteoinductive abilities. Based on that, GO-nanocomposites have garnered significant attention and hold promising prospects for bone repair applications. Environmentally cued hatching is prevalent, diverse, and crucial to many animals' survival. Fish embryos use a variety of chemical cues to initiate hatching to avoid potential predators, yet the function of chemical cues released from the predatory consumption of heterospecific prey is largely unknown. Zebra cichlids (Metriaclima estherae) are ferocious predators that can feed on medaka (Oryzias latipes), though it is impossible for this to occur in their natural habitat. Zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos have been employed as experimental subjects due to their sensitivity to a variety of chemical signals. In this study, zebrafish embryos were subjected to three types of chemical signals: predator cues (PCs, released from cichlids), heterospecific cues (HCs, released from medaka), and heterospecific dietary cues (HDCs, released from cichlids that have ingested medaka). As a result, the hatching times of zebrafish embryos were accelerated by 6.8% and 12.6% by PCs and HDCs, respectively. PCs and HDCs cause significantly reduced morphology in zebrafish embryos, including regarding total length, eye length, dorsal fin length, trunk height, caudal fin height, and body cavity, and increase yolk sac height. The PCs and HDCs diminished the larvae's motion at 120 and 144 h post fertilization (hpf), which could be attributed to non-developmental embryogenesis. Overall, the impacts of HDCs on embryonic hatching, developmental morphology, and locomotor were more pronounced in comparison with PCs. Our findings demonstrate that predators' dietary cues, even those released after predation on heterospecific prey, can modify embryogenesis, highlighting the critical functions of chemical signals in predation risk assessment using embryos. Diamide insecticides have always been a hot research topic in the field of pesticides. To further discover new compounds with high activity and safety, indane and its analogs were introduced into chlorantraniliprole, and a battery of chlorfenil derivatives, including indane and its analogs, were designed and prepared for biological testing. Their characterization and verification were carried out through nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). Biological detection showed that all the compounds exhibited good insecticidal activity against Mythimna separata. At 0.8 mg/L, the insecticidal activity of compound 8q against Mythimna separata was 80%, which was slightly better than that of chlorantraniliprole. The results of the structure–activity relationship (SAR) analysis indicated that the indane moiety had a significant effect on insecticidal activity, especially in the R-configuration. Kindergarten furniture is an important part of children's furniture. However, in sharp contrast with the high level of concern about the color, shape, structure, and modularity of kindergarten furniture, the research on green design and green evaluation of kindergarten furniture has not been given due attention. Through understanding the concept and principles of green design, this paper presents an objective approach to evaluate the green design of kindergarten furniture. An evaluation method based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) integrating gray correlation analysis (GCA) for kindergarten furniture green design was proposed. By using the AHP to determine the green design elements of kindergarten furniture, five standard layer indicators were obtained in aspects of environmental friendliness of the materials, color, technological structure, size, and interestingness, as well as 11 criterion layer indicators: environmental friendliness of structural materials, environmental friendliness of adhesives, environmental friendliness of paint, stimulate creativity or enhance concentration, avoid the feelings of unsteadiness, structural stability, rounding the edges, comfortable to use, size adjustable, interesting decorative patterns, and modular. Afterward, GCA was used to evaluate the green design of five kindergarten furniture schemes and a comprehensive evaluation score was obtained. Taking the design scheme represented by five desk and chair sets in kindergarten as an example, the effectiveness of this method was verified, and the advantages and disadvantages of the five desk and chair sets were analyzed and compared. The results showed that the third desk and chair sets at kindergarten made of New Zealand pine ranks first in the comprehensive green evaluation indicators, followed by the fourth sets made of rubber and wood. After the green design evaluation, we studied the carbon footprint of five furniture products and analyzed their carbon emissions at the production stage, the packaging stage, the transportation stage, and the storage stage. The results show that the amount of carbon emission is generally consistent with the evaluation results of the green scheme, which verifies the effectiveness of the green design evaluation method. This study provides an effective and feasible reference for kindergarten furniture designers. Computer vision provides a real-time, non-destructive, and indirect way of horticultural crop yield estimation. Deep learning helps improve horticultural crop yield estimation accuracy. However, the accuracy of current estimation models based on RGB (red, green, blue) images does not meet the standard of a soft sensor. Through enriching more data and improving the RGB estimation model structure of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), this paper increased the coefficient of determination (R2) by 0.0284 and decreased the normalized root mean squared error (NRMSE) by 0.0575. After introducing a novel loss function mean squared percentage error (MSPE) that emphasizes the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), the MAPE decreased by 7.58%. This paper develops a lettuce fresh weight estimation method through the multi-modal fusion of RGB and depth (RGB-D) images. With the multimodal fusion based on calibrated RGB and depth images, R2 increased by 0.0221, NRMSE decreased by 0.0427, and MAPE decreased by 3.99%. Urban planning and design, with the objectives of energy efficiency and climate adaptation, is receiving more and more attention as urban energy consumption keeps rising. As technical representatives with large spans and high difficulties, sports stadia have a broad range of energy conservation and emission reduction compared with traditional buildings and have an extremely close relationship with the energy consumption of the building environment and urban microclimate, so it is necessary to study the climate adaptation design strategy of sports stadia. However, climate adaptive design has not given much thought to sports stadia nowadays. And the energy-saving strategies of sports stadia rely mostly on engineering expertise without taking into account the effect of sports stadia layout, shape, and structure on the urban microclimate. This paper investigates the energy-saving and climate-adaptive design techniques of sports stadia in the hot summer and cold winter zone of China using the layout of sports stadia as the research object. Firstly, we construct a climate adaptive design framework of sports stadia of "layout-shape-structure" based on the characteristics of sports stadia. Secondly, combined with typical examples of large-scale sports stadia in hot summers and cold winters, we establish an abstract model of architectural layout, shape, and structure based on climatic environment. In order to provide climate-adaptive design methods for sports stadia in hot summer and cold winter zones, the ventilation of the external and internal spaces of sports stadia is simulated, quantified, and compared using CFD software. The study's findings suggest that the layout of sports stadia should take into account the direction of the local wind, that the goal of low energy consumption should guide the choice of building form, and that the internal wind and temperature environment should be stabilized during construction. The Brucella type IV secretion system (T4SS) can promote the intracellular survival and reproduction of Brucella. T4SS secretes effector proteins to act on cellular signaling pathways to inhibit the host's innate immune response and cause a chronic, persistent Brucella infection. Brucella can survive in host cells for a long time by inhibiting macrophage apoptosis and avoiding immune recognition. The effector protein, BspF, secreted by T4SS, can regulate host secretory transport and accelerate the intracellular replication of Brucella. BspF has an acetyltransferase domain of the GNAT (GCN5-related N-acetyltransferases) family, and in our previous crotonylation proteomics data, we have found that BspF has crotonyl transferase activity and crotonylation regulation of host cell protein in the proteomics data. Here, we found that BspF attenuates the crotonylation modification of the interacting protein p53, which reduces the p53 expression through the GNAT domain. BspF can inhibit the transcription and protein expression of downstream apoptotic genes, thereby inhibiting host cell apoptosis. Additionally, the Brucella ΔbspF mutant stain promotes apoptosis and reduces the survival rate of Brucella in the cells. In conclusion, we identified that the T4SS effector protein BspF can regulate host cell apoptosis to assist Brucella in its long-term survival by attenuating crotonylation modification of p53 and decreasing p53 expression. From the perspective of household economy, the application of a multiscale spatial econometric model to realize the objective evaluation of county-level poverty alleviation stability is a core issue in rural economics research. The improvement of economic income and livelihood conditions for small farm holders are significant manifestations of poverty alleviation stability. Quantitative evaluation of the county-level poverty alleviation stability can provide a scientific basis for the adjustment of rural economic policy and high-quality development of regional economy by the multiscale spatial econometric model. This study realizes the quantitative evaluation of county-level poverty alleviation stability by constructing the evaluation index system, taking five counties in China's Yunnan Province as an example, using the exact 2242 survey datasets, and adopting the multiscale spatial econometric model. The main idea of the model is to obtain the score of poverty alleviation stability by weighted summing of dimensions on the basis of weight calculation of each evaluation index. Results revealed the following: (1) County-level poverty alleviation stability includes the stability of regional poverty alleviation and the stability of farmers' poverty alleviation, which is mainly affected by the combined effect of five factors, including economic and ability status, cognitive level, supporting facilities, and social governance. (2) Based on the multiscale spatial econometric model, the overall poverty alleviation stability in the five counties is relatively low, with Zhaoyang District showing the highest stability, followed by Yiliang, Yuanyang, Honghe, and Gongshan. (3) Farmers' poverty alleviation stability in all counties, except Zhaoyang, is higher than that in the region. County-level gross domestic product and fiscal revenue are the dominant factors affecting the stability of poverty alleviation in the region, while the dominant factors affecting the farmers' poverty alleviation stability are the level of per capita net income and labor force proportion in the household population. (4) To enhance poverty alleviation stability, this study suggested enhancing the level of economic development in counties and strengthening the collective economy of the village, innovating the form of economic development of the village, taking the enhancement of the development capacity of counties, relying on resource advantages to actively develop special industries, and improving the stability and sustainability of income generation for farmers. Meanwhile, we propose to further improve the conditions of regional infrastructure and enhance the capacity of public services. The findings can help enrich the theoretical research system of rural economics, expand the scope of research on small-holder farming systems, and provide a reference for diversification of small farm holders economy, the improvement of agricultural farming technology, and the high-quality development of regional economy in China. The purpose of this study was to evaluate L-cysteine-modified transfersomes as the topical carrier for enhanced epidermal delivery of podophyllotoxin (POD). L-cysteine-deoxycholic acid (LC-DCA) conjugate was synthesized via an amidation reaction. POD-loaded L-cysteine-modified transfersomes (POD-LCTs) were prepared via a thin membrane dispersion method and characterized for their particle size, zeta potential, morphology, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and in vitro release. Subsequently, in vitro skin permeation and retention, fluorescence distribution in the skin, hematoxylin–eosin staining and in vivo skin irritation were studied. The POD-LCTs formed spherical shapes with a particle size of 172.5 ± 67.2 nm and a zeta potential of −31.3 ± 6.7 mV. Compared with the POD-Ts, the POD-LCTs provided significantly lower drug penetration through the porcine ear skin and significantly increased the skin retention (p < 0.05). Meaningfully, unlike the extensive distribution of the POD-loaded transfersomes (POD-Ts) throughout the skin tissue, the POD-LCTs were mainly located in the epidermis. Moreover, the POD-LCTs did not induce skin irritation. Therefore, the POD-LCTs provided an enhanced epidermal delivery and might be a promising carrier for the topical delivery of POD. β-amylase proteins (BAM) are important to many aspects of physiological process such as starch degradation. However, little information was available about the BAM genes in Annona atemoya, an important tropical fruit. Seven BAM genes containing the conservative domain of glycoside hydrolase family 14 (PF01373) were identified with Annona atemoya genome, and these BAM genes can be divided into four groups. Subcellular localization analysis revealed that AaBAM3 and AaBAM9 were located in the chloroplast, and AaBAM1.2 was located in the cell membrane and the chloroplast. The AaBAMs belonging to Subfamily I contribute to starch degradation have the higher expression than those belonging to Subfamily II. The analysis of the expression showed that AaBAM3 may function in the whole fruit ripening process, and AaBAM1.2 may be important to starch degradation in other organs. Temperature and ethylene affect the expression of major AaBAM genes in Subfamily I during fruit ripening. Curcumin (Cur) is a kind of polyphenol with a variety of topical pharmacological properties including antioxidant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. However, its low water solubility and poor skin bioavailability limit its effectiveness. In the current study, we aimed to develop microemulsion-based keratin–chitosan gel for the improvement of the topical activity of Cur. The curcumin-loaded microemulsion (CME) was formulated and then loaded into the keratin–chitosan (KCS) gel to form the CME-KCS gel. The formulated CME-KCS gel was evaluated for its characterization, in vitro release, in vitro skin permeation and in vivo activity. The results showed that the developed CME-KCS gel had an orange-yellow and gel-like appearance. The particle size and zeta potential of the CME-KCS gel were 186.45 ± 0.75 nm and 9.42 ± 0.86 mV, respectively. The CME-KCS gel showed desirable viscoelasticity, spreadability, bioadhesion and controlled drug release, which was suitable for topical application. The in vitro skin permeation and retention study showed that the CME-KCS gel had better in vitro skin penetration than the Cur solution and achieved maximum skin drug retention (3.75 ± 0.24 μg/cm2). In vivo experimental results confirmed that the CME-KCS gel was more effective than curcumin-loaded microemulsion (Cur-ME) in analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. In addition, the CME-KCS gel did not cause any erythema or edema based on a mice skin irritation test. These findings indicated that the developed CME-KCS gel could improve the skin penetration and retention of Cur and could become a promising formulation for topical delivery to treat local diseases. Power battery scheduling optimization can improve the service life of the battery, but the existing heuristic algorithm has poor adaptability, and the capacity fluctuates significantly in the cycle aging process, which makes it easy to fall into the local optimal. To overcome these problems, we take the battery cycle life maximization as the goal, propose a reinforcement learning scheduling optimization model with temperature and internal resistance difference constraints, so as to determine whether to charge or discharge during battery cycle aging. We do this using the deep−learning−based battery capacity estimation model as the learning environment for the agent, using the Double DQN algorithm to train the agent, and proposing the principal component analysis method to reduce the dimension of the state space. These experiments, using multiple publicly available battery aging data sets, show that the principal component analysis method and the constraint functions reduce the computational time to find the optimal solution, providing the possibility of obtaining larger reward values. Meanwhile, the trained model effectively extends the cycle life of the battery, and has good adaptivity. It can automatically adjust parameters with the battery aging process to develop optimal charging and discharging protocols for power batteries with different chemical compositions. The proportion of acidic purple soils has increased. Consequently, an effective method for amelioration of acidic purple soils is urgently needed. A 40 day incubation experiment using apple tree biochar, fermented sheep manure and chicken manure was conducted to assess the effects of organic materials on the acidity and fertility of acidic purple soil. The results showed that application of organic materials increased soil pH and decreased soil-exchangeable acidity. All of the treatments increased soil-exchangeable and water-soluble base cations after incubation. Specifically, biochar increased soil pH and reduced exchangeable acidity more than the other two fermented manures, because biochar was rich in carbonates and other alkaline substances. The concentration of soil available K was significantly higher under biochar than manure addition, while the opposite was true for soil available P and N, with a higher increase in soil available P in the manure treatments. By evaluating the soil fertility using a fuzzy comprehensive method, it was found that the fermented livestock manure enhanced soil fertility more strongly than biochar. Considering the effectiveness of soil amendments and production cost, applying a large amount of fermented organic fertilizer is an effective approach to the amelioration of acidified purple soil. Chinese historical and cultural villages are known for numerous vernacular architectural heritages of a wide-ranging, widely distributed, and artificially intensive nature. In order to efficiently and rapidly conduct targeted conservation for heritage buildings, the prediction of the deterioration level of heritage buildings is a key prerequisite. In that respect, it is of the utmost importance to investigate the influence of different elements, such as the age and type of heritage building, on the deterioration of heritage buildings. This paper presents the feasibility of using logistic regression models to establish a heritage damage prediction and thereby confirm the buildings' deterioration level. The model results show that age, type, style, and value play important roles in predicting the deterioration level of heritage buildings. Meanwhile, the correlation between the judging factors of heritage buildings and the deterioration level of the damage has also been revealed, which is expected to support subsequent conservation and restoration. Dinoflagellates of the genus Amphidinium can produce a variety of polyketides, such as amphidinols (AMs), amphidinoketides, and amphidinin, that have hemolytic, cytotoxic, and fish mortality properties. AMs pose a significant threat to ecological function due to their membrane-disrupting and permeabilizing properties, as well as their hydrophobicity. Our research aims to investigate the disparate distribution of AMs between intracellular and extracellular environments, as well as the threat that AMs pose to aquatic organisms. As a result, AMs containing sulphate groups such as AM19 with lower bioactivity comprised the majority of A. carterae strain GY-H35, while AMs without sulphate groups such as AM18 with higher bioactivity displayed a higher proportion and hemolytic activity in the extracellular environment, suggesting that AMs may serve as allelochemicals. When the concentration of extracellular crude extracts of AMs reached 0.81 µg/mL in the solution, significant differences in zebrafish embryonic mortality and malformation were observed. Over 96 hpf, 0.25 μL/mL of AMs could cause significant pericardial edema, heart rate decrease, pectoral fin deformation, and spinal deformation in zebrafish larvae. Our findings emphasized the necessity of conducting systematic research on the differences between the intracellular and extracellular distribution of toxins to gain a more accurate understanding of their effects on humans and the environment. Ginsenosides, the main active compounds in Panax species, are glycosides of protopanaxadiol (PPD) or protopanaxatriol (PPT). PPT-type ginsenosides have unique pharmacological activities on the central nervous system and cardiovascular system. As an unnatural ginsenoside, 3,12-Di-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-dammar-24-ene-3β,6α,12β,20S-tetraol (3β,12β-Di-O-Glc-PPT) can be synthesized through enzymatic reactions but is limited by the expensive substrates and low catalytic efficiency. In the present study, we successfully produced 3β,12β-Di-O-Glc-PPT in Saccharomyces cerevisiae with a titer of 7.0 mg/L by expressing protopanaxatriol synthase (PPTS) from Panax ginseng and UGT109A1 from Bacillus subtilis in PPD-producing yeast. Then, we modified this engineered strain by replacing UGT109A1 with its mutant UGT109A1-K73A, overexpressing the cytochrome P450 reductase ATR2 from Arabidopsis thaliana and the key enzymes of UDP-glucose biosynthesis to increase the production of 3β,12β-Di-O-Glc-PPT, although these strategies did not show any positive effect on the yield of 3β,12β-Di-O-Glc-PPT. However, the unnatural ginsenoside 3β,12β-Di-O-Glc-PPT was produced in this study by constructing its biosynthetic pathway in yeast. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of producing 3β,12β-Di-O-Glc-PPT through yeast cell factories. This paper proposes a design method for a channel-type sheep dynamic weighing system to address the current problems encountered by pastoralists at home and abroad, such as time-consuming sheep weighing, difficulties with data collection, and management of the stress response in sheep. The complete system includes a hardware structure, dynamic characteristics, and a Kalman-aggregate empirical modal decomposition algorithm (Kalman-EEMD algorithm) model for dynamic data processing. The noise suppression effects of the Kalman filter, the empirical modal decomposition (EMD), and the ensemble empirical modal decomposition (EEMD) algorithms are discussed for practical applications. Field tests showed that the Kalman-EEMD algorithm model has the advantages of high accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. The maximum error between the actual weight of the goats and the measured value in the experiments was 1.0%, with an average error as low as 0.40% and a maximum pass time of 2 s for a single goat. During the production of plant-based milk, thermal treatment of raw materials is an important processing method to improve the physicochemical and nutritional quality of the final products. The objective of this study was to examine the impact of thermal processing on the physiochemical properties and stability of pumpkin seed (Cucurbita pepo L.) milk. Raw pumpkin seeds were roasted at different temperatures (120 °C, 160 °C, and 200 °C), and then processed into milk using a high-pressure homogenizer. The study analyzed the microstructure, viscosity, particle size, physical stability, centrifugal stability, salt concentration, heat treatment, freeze–thaw cycle, and environment stress stability of the resulting pumpkin seed milk (PSM120, PSM160, PSM200). Our results showed that the microstructure of pumpkin seeds was loose and porous, forming a network structure because of roasting. As the roasting temperature increased, the particle size of pumpkin seed milk decreased, with PSM200 showing the smallest at 210.99 nm, while the viscosity and physical stability improved. No stratification was observed for PSM200 within 30 days. The centrifugal precipitation rate decreased, with PSM200 showing the lowest rate at 2.29%. At the same time, roasting enhanced the stability of the pumpkin seed milk in the changes in ion concentration, freeze–thaw, and heating treatment. From the perspective of tourism space optimization, the application of computer technology in creating computational simulations of correlation effects in tourism space systems is a core issue in research related to ports and hinterlands. Using a computer simulation analysis of the gray correlation, taking Mohan port–Yunnan economic hinterland as an example, the relationship between Mohan port and the Yunnan economic hinterland was quantitatively measured based on the indicators of cross-border tourism from 2006 to 2020. The study aimed to identify the driving mechanisms behind the synchronized development of Mohan port–Yunnan economic hinterland. The results are as follows: (1) due to the influence of administrative interventions and the competition of the neighboring ports, the correlation between the Mohan port and the Yunnan hinterland from 2006 to 2020 showed a rising–falling trend; (2) the correlation between the Mohan port and Xishuangbanna prefecture showed an obvious fluctuating trend, and the original port–city development relationship evolved to a competitive status; (3) the degree of spatial correlation of the Mohan port–Yunnan hinterland system evolved in a north–south-central–south direction, with "border zone–central region–northern region" distribution characteristics; (4) the natural conditions of the location, national policies, competition of nearby ports, infrastructure and traffic conditions, and economic strength are the main driving factors affecting the correlation change between Mohan port and the Yunnan hinterland. These findings can help enrich the theoretical research system of buildings economics, and expand the application of computational decision-making support in tourism spatial optimization. This empirical study in this paper focuses on the application of evolutionary computation in parametric urban block design to solve the problem of how to effectively find the optimal design solution set among a large number of schemes obtained through parametric urban block design. Through the application of evolutionary computation, a set of parameterized intelligent generation methods of urban blocks under the guidance of multi-conflict objective optimization can be established. The empirical study presented is based on a typical Russian block redevelopment design along the Chinese Eastern Railway. The design aims to transform and redevelop the original block on the basis of protecting its historical buildings and street pattern, taking into account environmental and economic considerations. The final results show that under the premise of reasonable overall evolution, a large number of block design schemes with complex design objectives can be obtained. Furthermore, according to the index data analysis of Pareto's overall optimal, mean value, median value, extreme value, etc., it provides designers with methods to select a series of optimal schemes quickly and efficiently based on different factors such as comprehensive balance, average and middle ranking, and individual best. The increase in the insecticide resistance of pests, such as Mythimna separata, Aphis craccivora Koch, and Tetranychus cinnabarinus, necessitates the development of new heterocyclic compounds with high insecticidal activity. A series of novel 2-phenylpyridine derivatives containing N-phenylbenzamide moieties were designed and synthesised with Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling, nucleophilic substitution, and amidation reactions. The reaction conditions in each step are mild, and the product is easy to separate (yield is about 85%). The structures of the compounds were characterised using 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and HRMS. Moreover, the insecticidal activity of the compounds was analysed using the leaf dipping method. The compounds 5a, 5d, 5g, 5h, and 5k at 500 mg/L exhibited 100% inhibition against Mythimna separata. Cannabidiol (CBD), derived from the plant cannabis, can be used in the cosmetics industry for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-wrinkle and whitening effects. However, CBD is purified from the hemp plant extract, its source is very limited and under strict control. So in this study, computational and experimental methods were combined to search for novel CBD substitutes with high biology potencies. The action mode between CBD and target protein cannabidiol receptor 1 was studied to find the key skeleton, which was used to virtually screen a natural products database to search for compounds with 70% similarity. The hit compounds with high docking scores were selected for the ABTS and DPPH free radical scavenging experiments for antioxidant evaluation. The effects on the expressions of nitric oxide (NO), interleukin-6 (IL-6), COX-2 and iNOS in RAW264.7 cell line were detected to demonstrate their anti-inflammatory abilities. The effect of anti-wrinkle ability were evaluated by detecting the extracellular matrix, such as collagen, elastin, fibronectin and reactive oxygen species (ROS) in HFF-1. The effects on melanin production and tyrosinase activity in Bb16F10 were also detected. Ginsenosides, active substances in Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer (ginseng), extend lifespan in multiple species, ameliorate age-associated damage, and limit functional decline in multiple tissues. However, their active components and their molecular mechanisms are largely unknown. Here, ginsenoside Rg1 (Rg1) promoted longevity in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Treatment with Rg1 decreased aging-mediated surface wrinkling, enhanced stress resistance, decreased reactive oxygen species' production and apoptosis, improved antioxidant enzyme activity, and decreased the aging rate. Proteomic analysis indicated that Rg1 delays S. cerevisiae senescence by regulating metabolic homeostasis. Protein–protein interaction networks based on differential protein expression indicated that CDC19, a homologue of pyruvate kinase, and SDH2, the succinate dehydrogenase iron–sulfur protein subunit, might be the effector proteins involved in the regulation by Rg1. Further experiments confirmed that Rg1 improved specific parameters of mitochondrial bioenergetics and core enzymes in the glycolytic pathway. Mutant strains were constructed that demonstrated the relationships between metabolic homeostasis and the predicted target proteins of Rg1. Recently, the deep learning technology has been adopted in the study of traditional village landscape. More precisely, it's usually used to explore the representation of cultural heritage and the diversity of heritage information. In this study, we comprehensively reviewed these deep learning-related literatures for the evaluation of traditional village landscapes. E.g., the landscape image recognition led by the pixel-level semantic segmentation algorithm and image feature extraction technology enable user-centred exploration and make cultural heritage digitally and visually accessible. By suggesting a analytic framework using the pixel-level semantic segmentation algorithm and extracting image features, we attempted to identify the physical attributes and spatial characteristics of traditional village landscapes and further simulate the value perception thinking of experts and the public. Besides, we analysed the impact factors and correlation mechanism of spatial attributes to provide a scientific basis and technical support for the protection and utilization of traditional villages. This paper takes the "Largos" of the Macau Peninsula as the object of study. By applying historical combing and field research, the main functions of Largos are categorized as follows: serving the community, facilitating traffic and promoting religious culture. The paper applied a spatial syntactic theory to establish a model, and three syntactic parameters were used, synergy, integration and choice, to interpret the results of the analysis. Based on the results of the syntactic parameters of Largos, results are divided into four categories. From this, the spaces that require improvements are selected, and corresponding improvement strategies are proposed. Taking Macau's Largos as an example, this paper aimed to apply a space syntax to analyze the Largos in Macau so as to play a reference role in the effective renewal of urban micro-spaces and small public spaces. Due to the time delay and some unavoidable noise factors, obtaining a real-time solution of dynamic time-varying linear matrix equation (LME) problems is of great importance in the scientific and engineering fields. In this paper, based on the philosophy of zeroing neural networks (ZNN), we propose an integration-enhanced combined accelerating zeroing neural network (IEAZNN) model to solve LME problem accurately and efficiently. Different from most of the existing ZNNs research, there are two error functions combined in the IEAZNN model, among which the gradient of the energy function is the first design for the purpose of decreasing the norm-based error to zero and the second one is adding an integral term to resist additive noise. On the strength of novel combination in two error functions, the IEAZNN model is capable of converging in finite time and resisting noise at the same time. Moreover, theoretical proof and numerical verification results show that the IEAZNN model can achieve high accuracy and fast convergence speed in solving time-varying LME problems compared with the conventional ZNN (CZNN) and integration-enhanced ZNN (IEZNN) models, even in various kinds of noise environments. Micro-scale fluids are tiny droplets that adhere to the surface of an object as a result of rainfall, perspiration, etc. Micro-scale fluid simulation is widely used in fields such as film and games. The existing state-of-the-art simulation methods are not suitable for simulating water droplets moving on a surface due to the fact that the water droplets cannot leave the texture space and their movements always depend on the continuous UV region. In this study, a novel method for simulating water droplets moving on a surface is proposed. We divide the droplets into two types: (1) two-dimensional droplets and (2) three-dimensional droplets and we implement the transformation between two-dimensional droplets in the texture space and three-dimensional droplets in the physical space. In the preprocessing phase, jump textures, coordinate transform textures and force field textures are generated in the non-continuous UV regions on a 3D object's surface. In the process of simulation, water droplets are treated as rigid particles. The Velocity-Verlet-based method is adopted to solve the motion trajectory equation, and the boundary droplet transport algorithm is implemented based on jump texture. In the process of rendering, the height map is generated according to the simulation in the texture space and then the liquid bridge phenomenon between the droplets is simulated based on the Gaussian blur and the color rank algorithm. Finally, they are converted into normal texture-rendering droplets. The experimental result shows that the proposed method works well when simulating the movements of water droplets on a surface in a real-time manner, and it makes the movement simulation of dimension-reducing water droplets no longer depend on the continuous surface and continuous UV region. Alginate lyases (ALyases) have been widely applied in enzymatically degrading alginate for the preparation of alginate oligosaccharides (AOS), which possess a range of excellent physiological benefits including immunoregulatory, antivirus, and antidiabetic properties. Among the characterized ALyases, the number of ALyases with strict substrate specificity which possess potential in directed preparation of AOS is quite small. ALyases of polysaccharides lyase (PL) 5 family have been reported to perform poly-β-D-mannuronic acid (Poly-M) substrate specificity. However, there have been fewer studies with a comprehensive characterization and comparison of PL 5 family ALyases. In this study, a putative PL 5 family ALyase PMD was cloned from Pseudomonas mendocina and expressed in Escherichia coli. The novel ALyase presented maximum activity at 30 °C and pH 7.0. PMD displayed pH stability properties under the range of pH 5 to pH 9, which retained more than 80% relative activity, even when incubated for 48 h. Product analysis indicated that PMD might be an endolytic ALyase with strict Poly M substrate specificity and yield disaccharide and trisaccharide as main products. In addition, residues K58, R66, Y248, and R344 were proposed to be the potential key residues for catalysis via site-directed mutation. Detailed characterization of PMD and comprehensive comparisons could supply some different information about properties of PL 5 ALyases which might be helpful for its application in the directed production of AOS. Low-emissivity (low-e) glass has garnered considerable attention for implementation in energy-saving windows, which can effectively decrease the energy consumption of buildings. However, the traditional vacuum-coating technology of low-e films greatly enhances the cost of energy-saving windows, and the influence of the vacuum-coating parameters on the optical characteristics of low-e films necessitates a complex optimization process. Herein, we prepared Ag NWs with controllable diameters using the polyol method, and the alignment of the Ag NW film coating on glass substrates was regulated by the shear force of the liquid flow generated through magnetic stirring. After optimization, the low-εMIR windows based on aligned Ag NW (60 nm) coatings showed an optical transmittance of 84.4% and a low εMIR of 0.3, which were superior to those of commercial low-εMIR glass (T: 65.6%; εMIR: 0.4). Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has become a global pandemic and has severely affected socio-economic conditions and people's life. The lung is the major target organ infected and (seriously) damaged by SARS-CoV-2, so a comprehensive understanding of the virus and the mechanism of infection are the first choices to overcome COVID-19. Recent studies have demonstrated the enormous value of human organoids as platforms for virological research, making them an ideal tool for researching host–pathogen interactions. In this study, the various existing lung organoids and their identification biomarkers and applications are summarized. At the same time, the seven coronaviruses currently capable of infecting humans are outlined. Finally, a detailed summary of existing studies on SARS-CoV-2 using lung organoids is provided and includes pathogenesis, drug development, and precision treatment. Household consumption has become an important field of carbon dioxide emissions. Urban–rural disparity in the household carbon emissions (HCEs) of residents and their influencing factors are relevant to HCE reduction. Taking Fujian as the study area, the LMDI and SDA models were used to analyze the effects of influencing factors for the direct household carbon emissions (DHCEs) and indirect carbon emissions (IHCEs) of urban and rural residents from 2006 to 2018. The HCEs continue to rise, approximately 65% from the IHCEs in 2017, and urban areas occupied 67% in 2018. The gap between urban and rural per capita HCEs is narrowing. In 2017, approximately 75% of urban per capita HCEs came from the IHCEs, while the per capita DHCEs' occupation exceeded the IHCEs in rural areas. Per capita consumption expenditure has the largest positive effect on the DHCEs and IHCEs in urban and rural areas. With the urbanization process, the inhibition effect of rural DHCEs is larger than the positive effect of the urban DHCEs, while the positive impact on urban areas is more substantial than on rural areas in the IHCEs. Two-dimensional transition metal carbides/carbonitrides (MXenes) have broad application prospects in the field of energy storage due to their abundant surface functional groups, tunable interlayer spacing, and excellent electrical conductivity. However, the kinetics of Li-ion intercalation/deintercalation between MXene layers is slow, and the stacking between nanosheets due to long cycling reduces the structural stability and battery safety. Herein, we prepare and tune surface-termination groups of Ti3C2Tx MXene by chemical exfoliation and low-temperature annealing methods. The types of functional groups on the surface of the material are optimized by the substitution of oxygen to some -F functional groups on the surface. The optimized Ti3C2Tx MXene material exhibits a reversible lithium-ion-storage specific capacity of 444.1 mAh g−1 after 200 cycles at a current density of 0.1 A g−1. The increased of -O functional groups can increase the diffusion rate of Li+, promote the transport of electrons, and accelerate the kinetics of the electrode reaction, thereby improving the performance of lithium-ion storage. Vining growth (VG) and high plant height (PH) are the physiological traits of wild soybean that preclude their utilization for domesticated soybean breeding and improvement. To identify VG- and PH-related quantitative trait loci (QTLs) in different genetic resources, two populations of recombinant inbred lines (RILs) were developed by crossing a cultivated soybean, Zhonghuang39 (ZH39), with two wild soybean accessions, NY27-38 and NY36-87. Each line from the two crosses was evaluated for VG and PH. Three QTLs for VG and three for PH, detected in the ZH39 × NY27-38 population of the RILs, co-located on chromosomes 2, 17 and 19. The VG- and PH-related QTL in the ZH39 × NY36-87 population co-located on chromosome 19. A common QTL shared by the two populations was located on chromosome 19, suggesting that this major QTL was consistently selected for in different genetic backgrounds. The results suggest that different loci are involved in the domestication or adaptations of soybean of various genetic backgrounds. The molecular markers presented here would benefit the fine mapping and cloning of candidate genes underlying the VG and PH co-localized regions and thus facilitate the utilization of wild resources in breeding by avoiding undesirable traits. Conventional inductive power transfer (IPT) employs primary control via phase shift, frequency tuning, or voltage tuning, whereas closed-loop control requires real-time wireless feedback communication. However, the long propagation delay results in small bandwidth. In this paper, a three-level (TL) rectifier is studied to implement secondary control and wide output voltage regulation in an inductor–capacitor–capacitor/series (LCC/S)-compensated IPT system over various magnetic couplings. The periodical operation behavior is analyzed, and a generic analytical expression of the system voltage gain including the TL rectifier is derived based on the Fourier series. A control strategy of an optimal control trajectory is proposed to maximize the power factor in the TL rectifier. The control variables are the duty cycles of the zero-level and one-level voltage in the TL rectifier. Either one remains at zero, while another one is utilized to modulate the output voltage in the proposed control strategy. A 2 kW prototype is designed and built to validate the theoretic analysis. The wide output voltage range between 100 V and 200 V under different magnetic coupling coefficients (0.16 and 0.23), a peak efficiency of 95.8% at 100 V and misaligned position, as well as a faster response of 1.3 ms are experimentally validated. Fibrillins are microfibril-associated macro glycoproteins found in connective tissues and structurally related to latent TGF-β-binding proteins (LTBPs). The special cellular immunity and blocking glycoprotein receptors IIb and IIIa of fibrillins are emerging topics in recent years. In this study, Nile Tilapia type IIcollagen (NTCII) was extracted and purified from the skull cartilages by a pepsin-soluble method. Amino acid analysis indicated that NTCII consisted of 315/1000 glycine residues, 72/1000 hydroxyproline residues and 108/1000 proline residues. SDS-PAGE analysis showed that NTCII was composed of three identical 130 kDa α-chains. The results of glycoprotein/carbohydrate assay indicated that the total polysaccharide content of NTCII was 5.6–19.0%. The IR spectrum of NTCII displayed five characteristic peaks of amide I, II, III, A, B. NTCII at 10–100 μg/mL concentration downregulated the content of cytokines in the presence or absence of LPS, especially the secretion of cytokines IL-6, IL-1β and TNF-α. Interestingly, NTCII promoted the secretion of Fas/Apo-1 compared to the control group and 25 μg/mL of NTCII resulted in a higher Fas/Apo-1 secretion level in CD8+ T cells. FITC-TCII fluorescence images confirmed that NTCII could bind to the membrane surface of CD8+ T cells, leading to the induction of rigidity. NTCII could bind to the membrane surface of CD8+ T cells that leads to the induction of rigidity, as evidenced by the FITC-NTCII fluorescence images. The qRT-PCR gene expression analysis of caspase-8 collected with Fas/Apo-1 was upregulated significantly in the 1 and 50 μg/mL NTCII-treated groups compared with the control group. Overall, the results conclude that the rigidity did not lead to an increase in inflammatory factors in CD8+ T cells treated with NTCII. The oral administration of NTCII 3 mg/kg dosage caused more prominent repair of damaged ankle cartilage than the 1 mg/kg dosage in Freund's adjuvant-induced model of arthritis in rats. Therefore, this study disclosed the immunological and anti-arthritic effect of fibrillar collagen, which could be a potential biomaterial for practical applications with lower toxicity. With the increasing complexity of aircraft development programs, the development processes of aircraft and their subsystems are continuously becoming complicated, leading to the growing risks of development cost across the entire life cycle. In this study, we proposed a model-based systems engineering approach to support process modeling of aircraft development using a multi-architecture modeling language KARMA. Simultaneously, property verification and hybrid automata simulation were used to implement the static cost analysis of each work task and dynamic cost analysis of the entire development process. Finally, a development process model of aircraft avionics system was created using a case study, in which cost analysis is implemented by the KARMA language. From the result, we found that the KARMA language enables the integration of the process modeling with static and dynamic analyses of the development process in a multi-architecture modeling tool MetaGraph 2.0. Photovoltaic (PV) panels are widely adopted and set up on residential rooftops and photovoltaic power plants. However, long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays, high temperature and humid environments accelerates the oxidation of PV panels, which finally results in functional failure. The traditional fault detection approach for photovoltaic panels mainly relies on manual inspection, which is inefficient. Lately, machine vision-based approaches for fault detection have emerged, but lack of negative samples usually results in low accuracy and hinders the wide adoption of machine vision-based approaches. To address this issue, we proposed a semi-supervised anomaly detection model based on the generative adversarial network. The proposed model uses the generator network to learn the data distribution of the normal PV panel dataset during training. When abnormal PV panel data are put into the model in the test phase, the reconstructed image generated by the model does not equal the input image. Since the abnormal PV panel data do not obey the data distribution learned by the generator, the difference between the original image and its reconstructed image exceeds the given threshold. So, the model can filter out the fault PV panel by checking the error value between the original image and its reconstructed image. The model adopts Gradient Centralization and SmoothL1 loss function to improve its generalization performance. Meanwhile, we use the convolutional block attention module (CBAM) to make the model pay more attention to the defective area and greatly improve the performance of the model. In this paper, the photovoltaic panels dataset is collected from a PV power plant located in Zhejiang, China. We compare the proposed approach with state-of-the-art semi-supervised and unsupervised approaches (i.e., AnoGAN (Anomaly Detection with Generative Adversarial Networks), Zhao's method, GANomaly, and f-AnoGAN), and the result indicates that the Area Under Curve (AUC) increases by 0.06, 0.052, 0.041 and 0.035, respectively, significantly improving the accuracy of photovoltaic panel fault detection. Currently, the route planning functions in 2D/3D campus navigation systems in the market are unable to process indoor and outdoor localization information simultaneously, and the UI experiences are not optimal because they are limited by the service platforms. An ARCore-based augmented reality campus navigation system is designed in this paper in order to solve the relevant problems. Firstly, the proposed campus navigation system uses ARCore to enhance reality by presenting 3D information in real scenes. Secondly, a visual inertial ranging algorithm is proposed for real-time locating and map generating in mobile devices. Finally, rich Unity3D scripts are designed in order to enhance users' autonomy and enjoyment during navigation experience. In this paper, indoor navigation and outdoor navigation experiments are carried out at the Lingang campus of Shanghai University of Electric Power. Compared with the AR outdoor navigation system of Gaode, the proposed AR system can achieve increased precise outdoor localization by deploying the visual inertia odometer on the mobile phone and realizes the augmented reality function of 3D information and real scene, thus enriching the user's interactive experience. Furthermore, four groups of students have been selected for system testing and evaluation. Compared with traditional systems, such as Gaode map or Internet media, experimental results show that our system could facilitate the effectiveness and usability of learning on campus. Lyme disease (LD) is a common arthropod-borne inflammatory disorder prevalent in the northern hemisphere. LD is caused by a spirochete named Borrelia burgdorferi s.l., which is transmitted to humans by ticks. Climate, environment, and other factors affect land use; recreational-behavior changes affect human contact with infected ticks. Studies in Europe and North America have looked at these aspects, but studies in Asia have not. We searched databases to identify all relevant abstracts published until March 2021. A meta-analysis was undertaken using the standard methods and procedures established by the Cochrane Collaboration. Ninety-one articles were included in our meta-analysis. The literature search identified data from nine countries (China, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia Siberia region, South Korea, Thailand and Turkey). Furthermore, 53,003 ticks from six genera (Amblyomma, Dermacentor, Haemaphysalis, Hyalomma, Ixodes and Rhipicephalus) were inspected for infection with B. burgdorferi. The pooled prevalence was 11.1% (95% CI = 8.3–14.2%). Among the nine countries, China had the most studies (56) and Malaysia had the highest infection rate (46.2%). Most infected ticks were from the genera Ixodes and Haemaphysalis. Ticks of the genus Ixodes had the highest infection rate (16.9%). Obvious heterogeneity was noted in our meta-analysis. We analyzed the heterogeneity with regard to countries, genera, time points, and detection methods. This study suggests that Ixodes, Haemaphysalis and Dermacentor may be the most common tike of B. burgdorferi-positive in Asia. The highest proportion of ticks infected by B. burgdorferi were from the genus Ixodes. This meta-analysis is the first attempt to explain the B. burgdorferi infection of hard-body ticks in Asia. The infection rate for each country and infection rate of different tick genera were analyzed: there were large differences between them. The literature is concentrates mainly on East Asia, and data are limited. Kelp (Laminaria japonica) is an important marine resource with low cost and rich nutrition. However, its fishy odor has compromised consumer acceptance. In this study, the effects of fermentation with Lactobacillus plantarum FSB7, Pediococcus pentosaceus CICC 21862 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae SK1.008 on fishy notes in kelp was studied using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS) and odor activity values (OAVs). Forty-four volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were identified in unfermented kelp, most of which were aldehydes, followed by alkanes, alcohols and ketones. Among them were 19 volatile compounds with OAV greater than one. Substances containing α,β-unsaturated carbonyl structure (1-Octen-3-one, (E,Z)-2,6-nonadienal, (E,E)-2,4-decadienal, etc.) are the main contributors to kelp fishy odor. The number of VOCs in kelp samples fermented by L. plantarum, P. pentosaceus and S. cerevisiae were decreased to 22, 24 and 34, respectively. GC-IMS shows that the fingerprint of the S. cerevisiae fermented sample had the most obvious changes. The disappearance of 1-octen-3-one and a 91% decrease in unsaturated aldehydes indicate that S. cerevisiae was the most effective, while L. plantarum and P. pentosaceus only reached 43–55%. The decrease in kelp fishy notes was related to the decrease in α,β-unsaturated carbonyl groups. The experimental results show that odor reduction with fermentation is feasible. Heavy rainfall events often cause great societal and economic impacts. The prediction ability of traditional extrapolation techniques decreases rapidly with the increase in the lead time. Moreover, deficiencies of high-resolution numerical models and high-frequency data assimilation will increase the prediction uncertainty. To address these shortcomings, based on the hourly precipitation prediction of Global/Regional Assimilation and Prediction System-Cycle of Hourly Assimilation and Forecast (GRAPES-CHAF) and Shanghai Meteorological Service-WRF ADAS Rapid Refresh System (SMS-WARR), we present an improved weighting method of time-lag-ensemble averaging for hourly precipitation forecast which gives more weight to heavy rainfall and can quickly select the optimal ensemble members for forecasting. In addition, by using the cross-magnitude weight (CMW) method, mean absolute error (MAE), root mean square error (RMSE) and correlation coefficient (CC), the verification results of hourly precipitation forecast for next six hours in Hunan Province during the 2019 typhoon Bailu case and heavy rainfall events from April to September in 2020 show that the revised forecast method can more accurately capture the characteristics of the hourly short-range precipitation forecast and improve the forecast accuracy and the probability of detection of heavy rainfall. D-allulose is an epimer of D-fructose at the C-3 position. With similar sweetness to sucrose and a low-calorie profile, D-allulose has been considered a promising functional sweetener. D-psicose 3-epimerase (DPEase; EC 5.1.3.30) catalyses the synthesis of D-allulose from D-fructose. Immobilised enzymes are becoming increasingly popular because of their better stability and reusability. However, immobilised DPEase generally exhibits less activity or poses difficulty in separation. This study aimed to obtain immobilised DPEase with high catalytic activity, stability, and ease of separation from the reaction solution. In this study, DPEase was immobilised on an amino-epoxide support, ReliZyme HFA403/M (HFA), in four steps (ion exchange, covalent binding, glutaraldehyde crosslinking, and blocking). Glycine-blocked (four-step immobilisation) and unblocked (three-step immobilisation) immobilised DPEase exhibited activities of 103.5 and 138.8 U/g support, respectively, but contained equal amounts of protein. After incubation at 60 °C for 2 h, the residual activity of free enzyme decreased to 12.5%, but the activities of unblocked and blocked DPEase remained at 40.9% and 52.3%, respectively. Immobilisation also altered the substrate specificity of the enzyme, catalysing L-sorbose to L-tagatose and D-tagatose to D-sorbose. Overall, the immobilised DPEase with intense multipoint attachment, especially glycine-blocked DPEase, showed better properties than the free form, providing a superior potential for D-allulose biosynthesis. In this study, an efficient method for the purification of resistant dextrin (RD) using membrane filtration and anion exchange resin decolorization was developed, then the purified RD was characterized. In the membrane filtration stage, suspended solids in RD were completely removed, and the resulting product had a negligible turbidity of 2.70 ± 0.18 NTU. Furthermore, approximately half of the pigments were removed. Static decolorization experiments revealed that the D285 anion exchange resin exhibited the best decolorization ratio (D%), 84.5 ± 2.03%, and recovery ratio (R%), 82.8 ± 1.41%, among all the tested resins. Under optimal dynamic decolorization conditions, the D% and R% of RD were 86.26 ± 0.63% and 85.23 ± 0.42%, respectively. The decolorization efficiency of the D285 resin was superior to those of activated carbon and H2O2. Moreover, the chemical characteristics and molecular weight of RD did not change significantly after purification. The nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of RD showed the formation of new glycosidic linkages that are resistant to digestive enzymes. The superior water solubility (99.14%), thermal stability (up to 200 °C), and rheological properties of RD make it possible to be widely used in food industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the medium-voltage power distribution system, cascaded H-bridge (CHB) static synchronous compensators (STATCOMs) are widely utilized to solve power quality issues by injecting the controlled reactive current into the system. The carrier-phase-shifted (CPS) pulse-width-modulation (PWM) scheme is preferred for CHB-STATCOMs, because it can minimize the compensating current distortion and realize the relative active power balance among the H-bridge modules. This paper reveals the influence of the carrier phase difference on the module active power balance, and proposes a carrier rotation technique with a CPS-PWM scheme to address this drawback. The rotation rules were analyzed, and the rotation time was especially designed to enhance the robustness of the system. With the proposed method, the natural dynamic active power balance of each module could be achieved, and the capacitor voltage could maintain balance without the individual capacitor voltage control or the auxiliary circuits in theory. The experimental results acquired from a downscaled CHB-STATCOM prototype demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed CPS rotation PWM scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, a Blockchain-driven platform for supply chain finance, BCautoSCF (Zhi-lian-che-rong in Chinese), is introduced. It is successfully established as a reliable and efficient financing platform for the auto retail industry. Due to the Blockchain built-in trust mechanism, participants in the supply chain (SC) networks work extensively and transparently to run a reliable, convenient, and traceable business. Likewise, the traditional supply chain finance (SCF), partial automation of SCF workflows with fewer human errors and disruptions was achieved through smart contract in BCautoSCF. Such open and secure features suggest the feasibility of BCautoSCF in SCF. As the first Blockchain-driven SCF application for the auto retail industry in China, our contribution lies in studying these pain points existing in traditional SCF and proposing a novel Blockchain-driven design to reshape the business logic of SCF to develop an efficient and reliable financing platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the auto retail industry to decrease the cost of financing and speed up the cash flows. Currently, there are over 600 active enterprise users that adopt BCautoSCF to run their financing business. Up to October 2019, the BCautoSCF provides services to 449 online/offline auto retailors, three B2B asset exchange platforms, nine fund providers, and 78 logistic services across 21 provinces in China. There are 3296 financing transactions successfully completed in BCautoSCF, and the amount of financing is ¥566,784,802.18. The feasibility of a steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) brain–computer interface (BCI) with a single-flicker stimulus for multiple-target decoding has been demonstrated in a number of recent studies. The single-flicker BCIs have mainly employed the direction information for encoding the targets, i.e., different targets are placed at different spatial directions relative to the flicker stimulus. The present study explored whether visual eccentricity information can also be used to encode targets for the purpose of increasing the number of targets in the single-flicker BCIs. A total number of 16 targets were encoded, placed at eight spatial directions, and two eccentricities (2.5° and 5°) relative to a 12 Hz flicker stimulus. Whereas distinct SSVEP topographies were elicited when participants gazed at targets of different directions, targets of different eccentricities were mainly represented by different signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). Using a canonical correlation analysis-based classification algorithm, simultaneous decoding of both direction and eccentricity information was achieved, with an offline 16-class accuracy of 66.8 ± 16.4% averaged over 12 participants and a best individual accuracy of 90.0%.
