Simple Summary: The AKAP13 gene has been found to be related to bone formation. As an important gene regulating growth and development, whether AKAP13 has any influence on the growth traits of goats is still unknown. Therefore, we hope to explore the InDel and CNV genetic variation of the AKAP13 gene in Shaanbei white cashmere goats and their relationship with growth traits to find effective molecular marker sites. A-kinase-anchoring protein 13 (AKAP13) is a member of the AKAP protein family that has been found to be associated with bone formation. Thus, we investigated the AKAP13 gene as a potential candidate gene for molecular-marker-assisted selection (MAS) in breeding. Our aim was to explore genetic variations (InDel and CNV) within the AKAP13 gene of Shaanbei white cashmere (SBWC) goats and analyze their relationship with growth traits. Ultimately, we identified three InDel loci (16-bp deletion, 15-bp insertion, and 25-bp deletion) and three CNVs, and the 16-bp and 15-bp loci were significantly associated with goat body length (p < 0.05). Both the 16-bp deletion variant and the 15-bp insertion variant facilitated an increase in body length in goats. In addition to this, there was a certain superposition effect between 16-bp and 15-bp loci, although there was no linkage. Additionally, the CNV1 locus was significantly correlated with body height and body length of goats (p < 0.05), and CNV2 was significantly correlated with chest depth, chest circumference, and cannon circumference of goats (p < 0.05). Individuals with gain type showed excellent growth performance. In conclusion, the InDel and CNV loci that we have identified could possibly serve as effective molecular markers in goat breeding, which is very essential for improving efficiency and success of breeding. In order to optimize space laser communication networking, the 2:1 transmissions for all reflectors on a multi-address transceiver can be removed. However, without the 2:1 transmissions, the reflectors exhibit doubled optical coupling effect in rotation, which reduces the numerical calculation precision of the attitudes of the reflectors' lines-of-sight (LOS). In the present study, using Snell's law of reflection and Euler's theorem, a mathematical model for the attitudes of the LOS of multiple reflectors without 2:1 transmissions was established, and a method was proposed for an indirect numerical calculation of the attitudes of the LOS by creating a Snell transformation matrix. This method eliminates the influence of the doubled optical coupling effect on the numerical solution of the line-of-sight attitudes of multi-reflectors. Compared to the direct numerical calculation method using the angular velocity, the calculation precisions achieved using the proposed method exhibited improvements of 3, 5, and 3 orders of magnitude in the three conical motions, respectively. The indirect calculation method and the numerical calculation model proposed in the present study, therefore, provide a theoretical basis for applying reflectors without 2:1 transmissions to multi-address transceivers. Simple Summary: PPP3CA is one of the candidate genes for goat reproduction, but no studies have been carried out yet. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the associations between copy number variations in the goat PPP3CA gene and litter size and semen quality in goats, including Shaanbei white cashmere goats (SBWC) (n = 353) and Guizhou Heima (GZHM) goats (n = 64). Based on the association analysis, the results showed that only CNV1 (copy number variation 1) and CNV2 (copy number variation 2) were distinctly related to the first-birth litter size in female goats (p = 7.6802 × 10−11; p = 5.0895 × 10−9), and they were also significantly associated with the semen quality of SBWC goats (p < 0.05). These findings prove that the PPP3CA gene plays an important role in reproduction traits in goats. Copy number variations (CNVs) have many forms of variation structure, and they play an important role in the research of variety diversity, biological evolution and disease correlation. Since CNVs have a greater impact on gene regulation and expression, more studies are being finalized on CNVs in important livestock and poultry species. The protein phosphatase 3 catalytic subunit alpha (PPP3CA) is a key candidate gene involved in the goat fecundity trait, and has important effects on precocious puberty, estrogen signal transduction pathways and oocyte meiosis. Additionally, PPP3CA also has a dephosphorylation effect in the process of spermatogonial stem cell meiosis and spermatogenesis. So far, there is no research on the relationship between the copy number variations of the PPP3CA gene and reproduction traits. Simple Summary: Genome-wide association studies found that the PR/SET Domain 6 (PRDM6) gene mutation was associated with bone development, bone density, and body mass index. This study found a 12 bp deletion variation within the PRDM6 gene in Shaanbei white cashmere goats in a large sample size (n = 1044). This variation polymorphism was associated with multiple goat growth traits in the yearling period, including heart girth (p = 0.027), cannon circumference (p = 0.008), chest depth (p = 2.10 × 10−5), chest width (p = 0.004), body height (p = 0.032), body length (p = 0.044), and hip-width (p = 0.014). The effects of the 12 bp variation were found to make no difference on adult goat growth traits. Taken together, these results demonstrate that the 12 bp deletion variant plays an important role in the early growth and development of goats and could be considered as a useful and effective molecular marker for goat breeding selection in the growth stage. In this study, we identified a 12 bp deletion variant (NC_030814.1:rs651603667, g: 79985625-79985636delTTGACTGATCCA) within the PRDM6 gene in a large sample (SBWC goats; n = 1044). All goat samples were collected in Shaanxi province in July 2018. The frequency of the wt allele was higher than the frequency of the del allele, and this mutation polymorphism confirmed to be consistent with the Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium (p > 0.05). Further results showed that in a group of goats in the yearling period (18 months old, n = 567), this deletion variant of the PRDM6 gene was associated with heart girth (p = 0.027), cannon circumference (p = 0.008), chest depth (p = 2.10 × 10−5), chest width (p = 0.004), body height (p = 0.032), body length (p = 0.044) and hip-width (p = 0.014). For adult SBWC goats (36 months old, n = 477), the effects of the 12 bp variation on growth-related traits were found to make no difference. These findings show that the 12 bp deletion within the goat PRDM6 gene plays an important role in the early growth and development of goats. Simple Summary: POU (Pit-Oct-Unc) class 1 homeobox 1 (POU1F1, or Pit-1) is a key transcription factor that directly regulates pituitary hormone-related genes and was considered as a candidate gene for reproduction and growth traits in goat breeding. Three important single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), c.682G > T, c.723T > G and c.837T > C, were found in Shaanbei white cashmere (SBWC) goats by direct DNA sequencing, and c.876 + 110T > C was monomorphic. Further analyses showed that the c.682G > T and c.837T > C loci were associated with litter size, and c.682G > T, c.723T > G and c.837T > C strongly affected growth traits (p < 0.05). It is an interesting phenomenon for this population that individuals with the same genotypes had more offspring and that their body status was also better. Thus, we speculated that there was a positive correlation between growth and lambing ability. Besides this, female goats with H3H7 (combined from haplotype 3 and 7) diplotype (GTTT-TTTT), which was consistent with the combination of the optimal genotype of four SNPs, had a better litter size and growth status than other diplotypes. This study provides the first association analyses between the SNPs of POU1F1 and economic traits in SBWC goats, which could be considered as effective SNP markers for genomic selection in goat breeding. Besides, the c.682G > T locus was first identified by HinfI (Haemophilus influenzae Rf) restriction endonuclease. Association analysis results showed that the c.682G > T, c.837T > C loci and diplotypes were significantly associated with goat litter size (p < 0.05). The positive genotypes were GT and TT for the two SNPs, respectively, and the optimal diplotype was H3H7 (GTTT-TTTT). On the other hand, the c.682G > T, c.723T > G and c.837T > C strongly affected growth traits and body measurement indexes in SBWC goats (p < 0.05). The positive genotypes or allele of these SNPs were GT, G and TT, respectively. Additionally, the goats with H3H7 diplotype also had a greater growth status than others (p < 0.05). Here, individuals with same genotype had both a better litter size and growth traits, showing a positive correlation between these economic traits. Meanwhile, the positive genotypes of four SNPs were combined to obtain the optimal diplotype, which was also H3H7.
