With global climate change and irrational human activities, regional water resource conflicts are becoming more and more pronounced. The availability of water resource in watersheds can be indicated by the water yield. Exploring the factors that influence the water yield is crucial in responding to climate change and protecting water resource. Previous research on the factors influencing the water yield has frequently adopted a macro-level perspective, which has failed to reflect the influencing mechanisms of changes at the local scale adequately. Therefore, this study proposes a novel framework for integrally evaluating the impacts of climate change and human activities on water yield services from both local and global perspectives. Taking Ganzhou City, the source of the Ganjiang River, as an example, the results show the following: (1) Ganzhou City had the largest water yield of 1307.29 mm in 2016, and the lowest was only 375.32 mm in 2011. The spatial distribution pattern was mainly affected by the surface environment, and the high-value water yield regions in the study area were predominantly located in urban areas with flat terrain. (2) At the local scale, regions where human activities contribute more than 80% accounted for 25% of the area. In comparison, the impact of climate change accounted for 0.95%. The contribution rate of human activities to the water yield in Ganzhou City was significantly greater than that of climate change. (3) At the global scale, the simulation results of four scenarios show that climate change contributed (>98%) to the water yield, which is significantly higher than human activities (<2%). This study puts forward pioneering views on the research of water yield driving forces and provides a valuable theoretical basis for water resource protection and ecological environment construction. Cellular automata (CA) models have been extensively employed to predict and understand the spatiotemporal dynamics of land use. Driving factors play a significant role in shaping and driving land-use changes. Mining land-use transition rules from driving factors and quantifying the contribution of driving factors to land-use dynamics are fundamental aspects of CA simulation. However, existing CA models have limitations in obtaining accurate transition rules and reliable interpretations simultaneously for multiple land-use simulations. In this study, we constructed a CA model based on a tree-based deep learning algorithm, deep cascade forest (DCF), to improve multiple land-use simulations and driving factors analysis. The DCF algorithm was utilized to mine accurate multiple land-use transition rules without overfitting to improve CA simulation accuracy. Additionally, a novel ensemble mean decrease of impurity (MDI) factor importance analysis method (DCF-MDI), which leverages the cascade structure of the DCF model, was proposed to qualify the contribution of each driving factor to land-use dynamics stably and efficiently. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed DCF-CA, we applied the model to simulate land-use distributions and explore the driving mechanisms of land-use dynamics in the Pearl River Delta (PRD), China, from 2000 to 2010. Compared to existing models, the proposed DCF-CA model exhibits the highest accuracy (FoM = 23.79%, PA = 39.77%, UA = 36.35%, OA = 91.50%), which demonstrates its superiority in mining accurate transition rules for capturing multiple land-use dynamics. Factor importance analysis reveals that the proposed DCF-MDI method yields more stable ranking orders and lower standard deviation of contribution weights (<0.10%) compared to the traditional method, indicating its robustness to random disturbances and effectiveness in elucidating the driving mechanisms of land-use dynamics. The DCF-CA model proposed in this study, demonstrating high simulation accuracy and reliable interpretability simultaneously, can provide substantial support for sustainable land use management. Compared to conventional support methods, the close-fitting pile–wall integration technique features a minimized construction spacing between the retaining pile and the basement retaining wall. This approach leverages the pile stiffness to minimize the wall thickness and enhance underground space utilization. However, it currently lacks significant discussions and measured data about the interaction laws between the pile and the wall. The model test and finite element method (FEM) are employed to study the deformation and internal force interaction laws of two typical close-fitting pile–wall integrated structures, and a comparison with conventional design is conducted. Furthermore, this study separately investigates the impact of sensitivity factors, specifically the pile–wall stiffness ratio and floor plate stiffness, on both structures during the basement construction and serviceability stages. The test results can closely match the numerical simulation. The study results reveal that the wall impacts the bending moment of the pile to some extent. The internal force in the wall is significantly influenced by the lateral deformation of the pile and the floor plate. Compared to conventional designs, this structure significantly reduces the bending moment of the wall, particularly in the composite structure. To investigate the effect and mechanism of plasma-activated water (PAW) on Aspergillus niger, PAW was prepared using a needle array–plate dielectric barrier discharge plasma system. The concentrations of long-lived reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS), namely, H2O2, NO2−, and NO3−, in the PAW were 48.76 mg/L, 0.046 mg/L, and 172.36 mg/L, respectively. Chemically activated water (CAW) with the same concentration of long-lived RONS was also prepared for comparison. A. niger A32 was treated with PAW and CAW. After treatment, the treated strains were observed and analyzed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to screen probable mutants. The results indicated that the pH, conductivity, and ORP values of PAW were 2.42, 1935 μS/cm, and 517.07 mV, respectively. In contrast, the pH and ORP values of CAW were 6.15 and 301.73 mV, respectively, which differed significantly from those of PAW. In addition, the conductivity of CAW showed no change. SEM and TEM analyses revealed that A. niger A32 treated with CAW exhibited less damage compared with the control. In contrast, A. niger A32 treated with PAW showed significant shrinkage, deformation, and exudate attachment over time. Following PAW treatment, after four passages, a high cellulase-producing stable mutant strain A-WW5 was screened, exhibiting a filter paper enzyme activity of 29.66 U/mL, a cellulose endonuclease activity of 13.79 U/mL, and a β-glucosidase activity of 27.13 U/mL. These values were found to be 33%, 38%, and 2.1% higher than those of the original fungus sample, respectively. In total, 116 SNPs and 61 InDels were present in the genome of the mutant strain A-WW5. The above findings indicate that the impact of PAW on A. niger is not only attributed to long-lasting H2O2, NO2−, and NO3− particles but also to other short-lived active particles; PAW is expected to become a new microbial breeding mutagen. High-voltage discharge plasma drying (HVDPD) is a non-thermal and efficient drying technique. In this study, we compared the drying characteristics and physicochemical properties of alfalfa dried via HVDPD, hot-air drying (HAD), and natural air-drying (AD) and analyzed the experimental results using infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, colorimetry, and other detection techniques. The results showed that HVDPD had a higher drying rate than AD and saved more energy than HAD. Alfalfa dried via HVDPD had the most intact internal structure, the highest rehydration ratio (RR), the best color quality, and the best nutrient retention, resulting in the highest relative quality and feeding value. Therefore, HVDPD is an excellent drying technique for alfalfa, providing a new and effective way to improve the storage, transportation, and drying quality of alfalfa. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Nano-calcium carbonate (NC) is a novel ultrafine solid powder material that possesses quantum size effects, small size effects, surface effects, and macroscopic quantum effects that ordinary calcium carbonate lacks. As a nanomaterial with superior properties, graphene oxide (GO) has been studied extensively in the field of construction. In microscopic characterization, the reaction between NC and tricalcium aluminate (C3A) formed a new hydration product, hydrated calcium aluminum carbonate (C3A·CaCO3·11H2O), which enhanced the arrangement of hydration products and optimized the distribution of pore size in the mortar. Regarding the mechanical properties, the addition of GO and NC significantly enhanced the early-age mechanical performance of the mortar. In terms of durability, the incorporation of GO and NC significantly improved the water permeability, chloride ion permeability, and resistance to sulfate attack of the cement mortar. In this study, it was found that adding 1 wt% NC and 0.02 wt% GO not only improves the mechanical and durability properties but also promotes the hydration reaction according to the microstructure analysis. With the help of NC, compared with other studies, the amount of GO is reduced, while the cost is reduced, and the application of GO in the field of cement-based materials is promoted. Constructing and operating cascade reservoirs significantly contribute to comprehensive basin water resource management, while altering natural hydrological regimes of rivers, which imposes negative impacts on riverine ecology. The main aim of this study is to synergistically optimize the objectives of increasing hydropower generation and alleviating hydrological regime alteration for cascade reservoirs. This study first proposed a dynamic time warping scenario backward reduction (DTW-SBR) framework to extract streamflow scenarios from the historical streamflow series regarded as benchmarks for calculating deviation degrees of hydrological regimes. Then a multi-objective long-term operation model considering the hydrological regime and hydroelectricity was formed for minimizing the deviation degrees of hydrological regimes at the downstream section (O1) and maximizing the hydropower generation of cascade reservoirs (O2). The non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA-II) combined with the long-term conventional operation (CO) rules of cascade reservoirs was adopted to produce the Pareto-front solutions to derive the recommended policies for guiding the long-term operation of cascade reservoirs. The six large reservoirs in the middle reaches of the Jinsha River, China with a 10-day runoff dataset spanning from 1953 to 2015 constitute a case study. The results showed that nine streamflow scenarios were extracted for calculating the O1 by the DTW-SBR framework, which could reflect the intra- and inter- annual variability of hydrological regimes at the Panzhihua hydrological station. The Pareto-front solutions obtained by the NSGA-II revealed competitive relationships between the O1 and O2. As compared to the long-term CO rules of cascade reservoirs, the O1 value could be reduced by up to 42,312 (corresponding rate of 10.51%) and the O2 value could be improved by up to 1752 × 108 kW·h (corresponding rate of 5.14%). Based on the inclination to be dominated by different objectives, three typical operation schemes, A, B and C, were chosen from the Pareto-front solutions; Scheme A could be considered as the recommended solution, which simultaneously reduced the O1 value by 23,965 with the rate of 5.95% and increased the O2 value by 1752 × 108 kW·h with the rate of 5.14%, as compared to the long-term CO rules. The mechanical pressure that arises from the external structure of the automotive lithium battery module and its fixed devices can give rise to the concentration and damage of the internal stress inside the battery and increase the risks of battery degradation and failure. Commercial batteries cannot be disassembled, and the diffusion stress distribution at different times during discharge is notoriously difficult to determine. This paper, therefore, establishes the electrochemical force-coupling model based on the electrochemical and diffusion mechanics principles of batteries and studies the internal stress distribution of the battery under the diffusion stress of the electrode-material level and external pressure. Mainly driven by the electrochemical potential of the electrode particle diffusion stress stemming from the lithium-concentration difference inside and outside the particles, rupture is more likely to occur at the surface of the negative-electrode active particle at the end of discharge or the beginning of charging, as shown in simulation analysis. The variation in the volume of electrode material also leads to different stress and strain inside different areas, with the order of strain and stress being negative active material > negative collector fluid > positive active material > positive fluid. Therefore, huge stress and deformation will first cause the negative active particles to deviate from the fluid gradually and squeeze the diaphragm, resulting in mechanical failure accordingly. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disease which seriously affects public health. Gut microbiota remains a dynamic balance state in healthy individuals, and its disorder may affect health status and even results in metabolic diseases. Quercetin, a natural flavonoid, has been shown to have biological activities that can be used in the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases. This study aimed to explore the mechanism of quercetin in alleviating T2DM based on gut microbiota. db/db mice were adopted as the model for T2DM in this study. After 10 weeks of administration, quercetin could significantly decrease the levels of body weight, fasting blood glucose (FBG), serum insulin (INS), the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), D-lactic acid (D-LA), and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in db/db mice. 16S rRNA gene sequencing and untargeted metabolomics analysis were performed to compare the differences of gut microbiota and metabolites among the groups. The results demonstrated that quercetin decreased the abundance of Proteobacteria, Bacteroides, Escherichia-Shigella and Escherichia_coli. Moreover, metabolomics analysis showed that the levels of L-Dopa and S-Adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) were significantly increased, but 3-Methoxytyramine (3-MET), L-Aspartic acid, L-Glutamic acid, and Androstenedione were significantly decreased under quercetin intervention. Taken together, quercetin could exert its hypoglycemic effect, alleviate insulin resistance, repair the intestinal barrier, remodel the intestinal microbiota, and alter the metabolites of db/db mice. The analysis of the realization path of the value of ecotourism products in agro-cultural heritage sites from the perspective of farmers' behaviors can not only provide decision-making references for improving the well-being of farmers and alleviating poverty but also help to provide a scientific basis for the sustainable development of ecosystems in agro-cultural heritage sites. Based on the field research data of the Qitai dry farming system in Xinjiang in 2023, this study establishes an evaluation index system for livelihood capital transformed by tourism value, and it analyzes whether there is a significant difference between the livelihood capital held by different types of farmers by using the entropy method and non-parametric tests. This study found that (1) farmers who participated in tourism in alpine grassland pastoral areas possessed advantageous financial, social and cultural capital; those who participated in tourism in rain-fed agricultural areas possessed advantageous human capital; and those who participated in tourism in irrigated agricultural areas possessed advantageous financial and human capital. (2) There are significant differences in the natural, physical and financial capital between farmers in alpine grassland pastoral, rain-fed and irrigated agricultural areas. (3) The different types of farm households are categorized into three representative livelihood types in dryland agricultural and cultural heritage sites: strong financial capital-strong, socio-cultural capital sites, strong human capital-weak natural capital sites, and strong human capital-weak physical capital sites. Depending on the composition of the livelihood capital, different types of farmers in heritage sites can realize the tourism value of ecological products, thus helping them to ameliorate their combined benefits. Indoor scenes are crucial components of urban spaces, with logos serving as vital information within these environments. The accurate perception of logos is essential for effectively operating mobile robots in indoor environments, which significantly contributes to many upper-level applications. With the rapid development of neural networks, numerous deep-learning-based object-detection methods have been applied to logo detection. However, most of these methods depend on large labeled datasets. Given the fast-changing nature of logos in indoor scenes, achieving reliable detection performance with either the existing large labeled datasets or a limited number of labeled logos remains challenging. In this article, we propose a method named MobileNetV2-YOLOv4-UP, which integrates unsupervised learning with few-shot learning for logo detection. We develop an autoencoder to obtain latent feature representations of logos by pre-training on a public unlabeled logo dataset. Subsequently, we construct a lightweight logo-detection network and embed the encoder weights as prior information. Training is performed on a small dataset of labeled indoor-scene logos to update the weights of the logo-detection network. Experimental results on the public logo625 dataset and our self-collected LOGO2000 dataset demonstrate that our method outperforms classic object-detection methods, achieving a mean average detection precision of 83.8%. The erosive wear encountered in some industrial processes results in economic loss and even disastrous consequences. Hitherto, the mechanism of the erosive wear is not clear, especially when the erosive wear is caused by large particles (>3.0 mm) carried by a flowing liquid. Current approaches of predicting erosive wear need improvement, and the optimization of relevant equipment and systems lacks a sound guidance. It is of significance to further explore such a subject based on the relevant literature. The present review commences with a theoretical analysis of the dynamics of large particles and the fundamental mechanism of erosion. Then the characteristics of the erosion of various equipment are explicated. Effects of influential factors such as particle size and properties of the target material are analyzed. Subsequently, commonly used erosion models, measurement techniques, and numerical methods are described and discussed. Simple Summary: Simple Summary: Hydroponic wheat sprouts could be used as a potential sustainable feedstuff resource for livestock production. Based on its nutrient composition, it could exert good palatability and digestibility, thereby improving the feed intake and productive performance of livestock. We have evaluated the responses of four-month-old growing Hu ewes, while their diets are replaced with different proportions (5–20%) of hydroponic wheat sprouts. In this experiment, substitution 15% of the basal diet with hydroponic wheat sprouts would obtain the optimum production performance and net profit for growing ewes. Inversely, the higher substitution ratio (20%) will result in the decline of production performance and economic effectiveness, and show negative effect on rumen fermentation. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of varying proportions (5–20%) of hydroponic wheat sprouts in the diet of growing four-month-old Hu ewes on their productive performance, metabolic profiles, rumen fermentation, and alterations in microflora. Compared with the control group (CON), the optimum final weight of ewes has been presented in the group of substitution 15% (S15) of the basal diet with hydroponic wheat sprouts. Furthermore, 1–30 d the average daily gain (ADG), 31–60 d ADG, and average feed intake were both significantly improved in S15 compared with CON (p < 0.05). Feeding hydroponic wheat sprouts can significantly increase high-density lipoprotein and interleukin-2 (p < 0.05) accompanied by the numerical increase of the content of interferon-γ, suggesting its positive effect on ewes' health and immune systems. In this process, it is noteworthy that feeding hydroponic wheat sprouts results in an increase in relative abundance of Olsenella, Limosilactobacillus, Shuttleworthia, and Prevotella_7, and a decrease in relative abundance of Succinimonas, Pseudobutyrivibrio, and Anaerovibrio in the rumen of growing ewes. It implies that the response of rumen microflora adapted to the change of dietary ingredients, as well as the relationship between rumen microflora changes and the improvement of productive performance and immune system in growing ewes. To solve the problem of urban freight demand and build an efficient, practical, intelligent, green, and sustainable new logistics system, this paper considers the application of the subway network to urban freight transportation and studies the location problem of subway transit stations in the urban freight network. According to the differences between different subway stations, the nodal degree, medial centrality, proximity centrality, and regional accessibility are proposed as the evaluation indexes, and the improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy method and entropy weight method are used to calculate the index weight. The TOPSIS evaluation method is used to evaluate the importance of each subway station, and the importance evaluation model of subway stations is constructed. Combined with the distribution location and transportation demand of urban express delivery outlets, a two-tier planning model for the location of subway transfer stations was constructed with total cost and customer satisfaction as the objective functions, and the case studies were carried out by taking Jiangning District, Lishui District, and Gaochun District of Nanjing as the research objects. The results show that Hohai University Focheng West Road, Zhengfang Middle Road, Qunli, and Gaochun can be transformed into subway transfer stations and used as transshipment centers of the urban cargo transportation network. Compared with the original ground transportation network, 52.87% of the ground transportation distance in the optimized transportation network is replaced by subway transportation, and the total cost of logistics transportation is reduced by 8.73%, which verifies the feasibility of subway for urban cargo transportation, reduces logistics transportation costs, and relieves the pressure of ground transportation, which is of great significance for the sustainable development of urban logistics. Wind tunnel tests and numerical simulations are the mainstream methods to study the wind-induced vibration of structures. However, few articles use statistical parameters to point out the differences and errors of these two research methods in exploring the wind-induced response of membrane structures. The displacement vibration of a saddle membrane structure under the action of wind load is studied by wind tunnel tests and numerical simulation, and statistical parameters (mean, range, skewness, and kurtosis) are introduced to analyze and compare the displacement data. The most unfavorable wind direction angle is 0° (arching direction). The error between experiment and simulation is less than 10%. The probability density curve has a good coincidence degree. Both the test and simulation show a certain skewed distribution, indicating that the wind-induced vibration of the membrane does not obey the Gaussian distribution. The displacement response obtained by the test has good stability, while the simulated displacement response has strong discreteness. The difference between the two research methods is quantitatively given by introducing statistical parameters, which is helpful to improve the shortcomings of wind tunnel tests and numerical simulations. The rice spike, a crucial part of rice plants, plays a vital role in yield estimation, pest detection, and growth stage management in rice cultivation. When using drones to capture photos of rice fields, the high shooting angle and wide coverage area can cause rice spikes to appear small in the captured images and can cause angular distortion of objects at the edges of images, resulting in significant occlusions and dense arrangements of rice spikes. These factors are unique challenges during drone image acquisition that may affect the accuracy of rice spike detection. This study proposes a rice spike detection method that combines deep learning algorithms with drone perspectives. Initially, based on an enhanced version of YOLOv5, the EMA (efficient multiscale attention) attention mechanism is introduced, a novel neck network structure is designed, and SIoU (SCYLLA intersection over union) is integrated. Experimental results demonstrate that RICE-YOLO achieves a mAP@0.5 of 94.8% and a recall of 87.6% on the rice spike dataset. During different growth stages, it attains an AP@0.5 of 96.1% and a recall rate of 93.1% during the heading stage, and a AP@0.5 of 86.2% with a recall rate of 82.6% during the filling stage. Overall, the results indicate that the proposed method enables real-time, efficient, and accurate detection and counting of rice spikes in field environments, offering a theoretical foundation and technical support for real-time and efficient spike detection in the management of rice growth processes. Aiming at the problem of deterioration of the properties of beta titanium alloy welded joints due to many porosity defects and coarse grains, multi-vibrator ultrasonic-assisted laser welding (M—ULW) technology was used to improve the structure and properties of beta titanium alloy welded joints. The microstructure evolution, tensile strength, elongation, and fracture behavior of the weld joint were studied through scanning electron microscopy, electron back-scatter diffraction, and a universal testing machine. The results show that ultrasonic vibration has no effect on the phase composition of titanium alloy welds during ultrasonic-assisted laser welding. However, it caused all grains in the weld to be transformed into equiaxed grains, and the higher the amplitude, the finer and more uniformly distributed were the equiaxed grains. When the ultrasonic amplitude reached 20 μm, the fine equiaxed crystals were uniformly distributed throughout the weld, and the average grain size of the weld was 56.15 um, which is only one-third of that of the unultrasonicated laser welded joint. Ultrasonic refinement makes the joint grain size decrease, weakens the beta titanium alloy {200} direction weaving, increases the dislocation density within the weld; and increases the tensile strength of the welded joint. The tensile strength of the welded joints exceeded that of the base material by 907 MPa, and the elongation was significantly increased by a factor of 1.8 compared with that of the un-ultrasonicated laser welded joints, resulting in a shift of the fracture location from the center of the weld to the heat-affected zone. Coal seam pressure is an important parameter for production performance evaluation and prediction of coalbed methane (CBM). CBM production from undersaturated CBM reservoirs can be divided into two stages according to critical desorption pressure. At present, few prediction models of coal seam pressure performance consider the comprehensive influence of critical desorption pressure, dissolved gas, matrix shrinkage, and stress sensitivity. For the purpose of accurately predicting coal seam pressure during gas production for an undersaturated coalbed methane reservoir, the material balance principle is used to establish the analytical method for predicting coal seam pressure, considering the comprehensive influence of the critical desorption pressure, dissolved gas, matrix shrinkage, and stress sensitivity. Then, the proposed method is verified against a numerical simulation case using a computer modelling group (CMG) and two actual coalbed methane wells. Finally, the sensitivities of influencing factors on the coal seam pressure are analyzed. The results show that good agreements were obtained between the calculated coal seam pressures using the proposed method and those from the CMG-GEM simulation case and actual CBM wells, with the relative errors all being less than 1%. When ignoring the influence of critical desorption pressure and mistaking pd for pi as well as ignoring Cs, the relative error can reach as high as 31.3%. The main factors affecting the coal seam pressure are the critical desorption pressure and free gas saturation. The performance of nano-zero-valent iron for heavy metal remediation can be enhanced via incorporation into bimetallic carbon composites. However, few economical and green approaches are available for preparing bimetallic composite materials. In this study, novel Co/Fe bimetallic biochar composites (BC@Co/Fe-X, where X = 5 or 10 represents the CoCl2 concentration of 0.05 or 0.1 mol L−1) were prepared for the adsorption of Pb2+. The effect of the concentration of cross-linked metal ions on Pb2+ adsorption was investigated, with the composite prepared using 0.05 mol L−1 Co2+ (BC@Co/Fe-5) exhibiting the highest adsorption performance. Various factors, including the adsorption period, Pb2+ concentration, and pH, affected the adsorption of Pb2+ by BC@Co/Fe-5. Further characterisation of BC@Co/Fe-5 before and after Pb2+ adsorption using methods such as X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy suggested that the Pb2+ adsorption mechanism involved (i) Pb2+ reduction to Pb0 by Co/Fe, (ii) Co/Fe corrosion to generate Fe2+ and fix Pb2+ in the form of PbO, and (iii) Pb2+ adsorption by Co/Fe biochar. To date, most studies have shown that biochar has great potential in carbon sequestration and reduction, as well as soil quality improvement. However, there is limited knowledge of its effect on soil organic carbon (SOC) fractions in tropical farmland. This study aimed to determine the impact of different types and rates of biochar applied in tropical farmlands on so SOC and its active fractions. The SOC, microbial biomass carbon (MBC), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), and soil mineralizable carbon (SMC) in the 0–30 cm soil layers under rice hull (R) and peanut shell (P) biochar treatments were measured. The results showed that the application of R and P biochar increased the contents, stocks, and cumulative stocks of SOC, MBC, and DOC in the 0–10 cm, 10–20 cm, and 20–30 cm soil layers. The contents, stocks, and cumulative stocks increased with increasing biochar application rates. Compared with CK, the ranges of the increased SOC, MBC, and DOC cumulative stocks were 10.76–46.36%, 30.04–195.65%, and 0.02–17.03%, respectively. However, the R60 and P60 had the lowest cumulative stocks of SMC, decreasing by 14.69% and 8.05%, respectively. The biochar treatment of more than 20 t ha−1 reduced the ratio of SMC:SOC and active fractions:SOC. Therefore, it can be inferred that the application of biochar improved the levels of SOC, MBC, and DOC, and the application of more than 20 t ha−1 biochar could decrease soil carbon mineralization, thus improving the stability of SOC in tropical farmlands. The bond strength between basalt fibers and asphalt binders is an important parameter that can be used to evaluate the influence of basalt fibers on the mechanical properties of asphalt binders and asphalt mixtures. To date, however, there remains a lack of methods that can be used to assess the bond strength between basalt fibers and asphalt binders. This study employed a fiber-asphalt pull-out tester (POT). Significant upward, peak, and downward stages were observed from the relationship curves between the pull-out force (POF) and displacement, corresponding to the holding stage and reaching the maximum POF stage and the sliding or failure stage between fibers and asphalt binders. Maximum POF is recommended to calculate the bond strength between basalt fibers and asphalt binders. The types of asphalt binders suitable for basalt fibers and the appropriate fiber embedding depths for different types of asphalt binders guiding the selection of fiber length are recommended based on the influence of fiber embedding depth and asphalt binders on the fiber–asphalt bond strength. In addition, surface energy was used to calculate the bond strength as well. Surface energy was determined from contact angle measurements using the sessile drop method. Furthermore, a scanning electron microscope (SEM) was employed to examine the bond mechanism between asphalt binders and basalt fibers. The response and mechanism of polyimide aerogel under electron irradiations were investigated. The experimental results indicated that electron irradiation could not damage the skeleton polyimide in the aerogel due to its high stability, but could result in a discharge within. The morphology of the discharge shows some dendritic discharge patterns, and the material surrounding the discharge channels was carbonized. The numerical simulation results indicated that the incident electrons, and also large amount induced secondary electrons, would be deposited inhomogeneously within the nano-porous polyimide aerogel. This would result in forming an ultra-high electrical potential of up to about 8.5 × 1010 V/m (which is far higher than the breakdown strength (2 × 108 V/m) of bulk polyimide materials) in a local region. This may be the leading cause of the obvious discharge in the materials. Furthermore, it was found that the actual reason for the discharge is related to the residual gas within the nano-porous structure; namely, the more internal residual gas (as a shorter-time vacuum pumping in the irradiated chamber), the more serious the discharge phenomenon. Correspondingly, the phenomenon may largely consist of both residual-gas discharge and surface flashover due to ultra-high local potentials induced by unevenly deposited charges in the porous aerogel. Since the discovery of α-diimine catalysts in 1995, an extensive series of Brookhart-type complexes have shown their excellence in catalyzing ethylene polymerizations with remarkable activity and a high molecular weight. However, although this class of palladium complexes has proven proficiency in catalyzing ethylene copolymerization with various polar monomers, the α-diimine nickel catalysts have generally exhibited a much worse performance in these copolymerizations compared to their palladium counterparts. Recently, Brookhart et al. reported a notable exception, demonstrating that α-diimine nickel catalysts could catalyze the ethylene copolymerization with some vinylalkoxysilanes effectively, producing functionalized polyethylene incorporating trialkoxysilane (-Si(OR)3) groups. This breakthrough is significant since Pd-catalyzed copolymerizations are commercially less usable due to the high cost of palladium. Thus, the utilization of Ni, given its abundance in raw materials and cost-effectiveness, is a landmark in ethylene/polar vinyl monomer copolymerization. Inspired by these findings, we used density functional theory (DFT) calculations to investigate the mechanistic study of ethylene copolymerization with vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMoS) catalyzed by Brookhart-type nickel catalysts, aiming to elucidate the molecular-level understanding of this unique reaction. Initially, the nickel complexes and cationic active species were optimized through DFT calculations. Subsequently, we explored the mechanisms including the chain initiation, chain propagation, and chain termination of ethylene homopolymerization and copolymerization catalyzed by Brookhart-type complexes. Finally, we conducted an energetic analysis of both the in-chain and chain-end of silane enchainment. It was found that chain initiation is the dominant step in the ethylene homopolymerization catalyzed by the α-diimine Ni complex. The 1,2- and 2,1-insertion of vinylalkoxysilane exhibit similar barriers, explaining the fact that both five-membered and four-membered chelates were identified experimentally. After the VTMoS insertion, the barriers of ethylene reinsertion become higher, indicating that this step is the rate-determining step, which could be attributed to the steric hindrance between the incoming ethylene and the bulky silane substrate. We have also reported the energetic analysis of the distribution of polar substrates. The dominant pathway of chain-end -Si(OR)3 incorporation is suggested as chain-walking → ring-opening → ethylene insertion, and the preference of chain-end -Si(OR)3 incorporation is primarily attributed to the steric repulsion between the pre-inserted silane group and the incoming ethylene molecule, reducing the likelihood of in-chain incorporation. In this paper, the electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) technique was used to analyze the dynamic recrystallization (DRX), twinning, slip behavior, and texture evolution during forging and subsequent extruding deformation. The results show that, as the degree of strain increased (forging to extruding), the degree of DRX increased, and the DRX mechanism changed from discontinuous DRX (DDRX) during forging to DDRX and continuous DRX (CDRX) during extruding. Particle stimulation nucleation (PSN) promoting DRX occurred during deformation. The deformation process mainly produced {10–12} twins (TTW) and played a role in coordinating the deformation. The slip behavior also changed according to an analysis of in-grain misorientation axes (IGMA) results, changing from slip-dominated with a basal slip to co-dominated with multiple slip modes, with the activation of mainly prismatic and pyramidal slip. Meanwhile, the strong basal texture at the beginning of the deformation also changed, and the texture strength decreased from 24.81 to 15.56. The weakening of the texture was mainly due to the formation of DRX grains and twins, as the newly formed DRX and twins reoriented. In the later stages of deformation, the activation of prismatic slip and pyramidal slip changed the basal texture component. Based on microstructural analysis, the improvement in mechanical properties was due to fine-grain strengthening and load-transfer strengthening. Tomato is the vegetable with the largest greenhouse area in China, and low temperature is one of the main factors affecting tomato growth, yield, and quality. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) plays an important role in regulating plant chilling tolerance, but its downstream cascade reaction and mechanism remain unclear. Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK/MPKs) are closely related to a variety of signaling substances in stress signal transmission. However, whether H2S is related to the MPK cascade pathway in response to low-temperature stress is rarely reported. In this study, NaHS treatment significantly decreased the electrolyte leakage (EL), superoxide anion (O2−) production rate, and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content of seedlings at low temperatures. In addition, the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT) were obviously increased; and the photochemical efficiency of PSII (Fv/Fm) was enhanced with treatment with NaHS, indicating that NaHS improved the seedlings' cold tolerance by alleviating the degree of membrane lipid peroxidation and oxidative damage. However, H2S scavenger hypotaurine (HT) treatment showed the opposite effect. We found that H2S content, L-cysteine desulfhydrase (LCD) activity, and mRNA expression were increased by chilling stress but reduced by MPK inhibitor PD98059; PD98059 reversed the alleviating effect of H2S via increasing the EL and H2O2 contents. The expression levels of MPK1–MPK7 at low temperatures showed that SlMPK4 was significantly induced by exogenous NaHS and showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, while the expression level of SlMPK4 in HT-treated seedlings was lower than that of the control. After SlMPK4 was silenced by virus-induced gene silencing, the H2S-induced upregulation of C-repeat-Binding Factor (CBF1), inducer of CBF expression 1 (ICE1), respiratory burst oxidase homologs (RBOH1, RBOH2) at low temperatures disappeared, and tomato cold tolerance decreased. In conclusion, H2S improves the cold tolerance of tomato plants by increasing the activity of antioxidant enzymes and reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and membrane lipid peroxidation. The development of catalysts has significantly advanced the progress of polyolefin materials. In particular, group 4 (Ti, Zr, Hf) non-metallocene catalysts ligated with [N,N] bidentate ligand(s) have garnered increasing attention in the field of olefin polymerization due to their structurally stability and exceptional polymerization behaviors. Ligands containing nitrogen donors are diverse and at the core of many highly active catalysts. They mainly include amidine, guanidinato, diamine, and various N-heterocyclic ligands, which can be used to obtain a series of new polyolefin materials, such as ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHWMPE), olefin copolymers (ethylene/norbornene and ethylene/α-olefin) with high incorporations, and high isotactic or syndiotactic polypropylene after coordination with group 4 metals and activation by cocatalysts. This paper presents the design and development of a new type of planetary traction drive bearing-type reducer. In this design, the transmission outer ring is replaced with an elastic ring. The design constructs a circular arc at the axial end of the rolling body's contour line. This ensures that the contact point of this arc with the reducer's outer ring and the inner ring's axial end face is maintained on the radial traction contact line. As a result, it can replace the thrust bearing and provide an axial support function. It has the advantages of simple structure, easy processing, smooth transmission, and low noise. This paper first introduces the design and development process of this bearing-type reducer and presents systematic research on its transmission principle and dynamics. Subsequently, in response to the edge effect phenomenon of the outer ring contact line, the contour line of the outer ring is refined by adopting the shaping method used for bearing rollers, establishing a full circular arc profile shaping method, which significantly improves its edge effect. Finally, in our investigations, combined with experimental tests, a prototype of the bearing-type reducer was fabricated, and the speed ratio, torque, and transmission efficiency of the reducer were studied. The results demonstrate that the bearing-type reducer can achieve high transmission accuracy and efficiency. The transmission performance varies significantly under different lubrication conditions, with the peak efficiency reaching as high as 99.97% when using Santotrac 50 traction oil. In this paper, an ultracompact combined sensor for displacement and angle-synchronous measurement is proposed based on the self-imaging effect of optical microgratings. Using a two-grating structure, linear and angular displacement can be measured by detecting the change of phase and amplitude of the optical transmission, respectively, within one single structure in the meantime. The optically transmitted properties of the two-grating structure are investigated in both theory and simulation. Simulated results indicate that optical transmission changes in a sinusoidal relationship to the input linear displacement. Meanwhile, the amplitude of the curve decreases with an input pitch angle, indicating the ability for synchronous measurement within one single compact structure. The synchronous measurement of the linear displacement and the angle is also demonstrated experimentally. The results show a resolution down to 4 nm for linear displacement measurement and a maximum sensitivity of 0.26 mV/arcsec within a range of ±1° for angle measurement. Benefiting from a simple common-path structure without using optical components, including reflectors and polarizers, the sensor shows ultra-high compactness for multiple-degrees-of-freedom measuring, indicating the great potential for this sensor in fields such as integrated mechanical positioning and semiconductor fabrication. Dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in lakes, as a regulatory agent and light-absorbing compound, is a key component of the global carbon cycling in lacustrine ecosystems. Hence, continuous monitoring of the DOC concentration in arid regions is extremely important. This study utilizes the QAA-CDOM semi-analytical model, which has good accuracy in retrieving the CDOM (colored dissolved organic matter) concentration of Lake Ebinur. We chose to invert the CDOM time-series data from May to October during the 2018–2022 period. A DOC estimation model was then established using the linear regression approach based on the CDOM inversion data and the field DOC measurements. In general, the DOC concentration in Lake Ebinur exhibited an increasing trend from 2018 to 2022, typically lower in May and higher in June. When comparing the average values of DOC in Lake Ebinur for the same months across different years, it can be observed that the month of September exhibits the greatest variability, whereas June shows the least variability. In sum, this study successfully retrieved CDOM concentrations for a saline lake within an arid region and developed a DOC estimation model, thereby providing a reference for investigating carbon cycling in typical lakes of arid areas. The stoichiometric characteristics of carbon (C), nitrogen (N), and phosphorus (P) in soil can directly reflect the level of soil fertility. In this study, a secondary forest, two kinds of plantation forests (Dacrycarpus imbricatus and Pinus caribaea Morelet), and a primary forest in tropical areas were selected for soil sample collection and analysis. We found that the soil [leucine aminopeptidase (LAP) + β-N-acetylglucosidase (NAG)]/acid phosphatase (APho) value was less than 1, indicating that there was P limitation. In addition, we also found that compared with primary forest, the β-glucosidase (BG) activity and (LAP + NAG) activity of the secondary forest were lower, and the microbial biomass carbon (MBC) and microbial biomass nitrogen (MBN) contents were higher. The contents of total nitrogen (TN) and MBN in the Dacrycarpus imbricatus forest soil were significantly higher than those in the primary forest, but the activity of (LAP + NAG) was lower. The structural equation model showed that the factors that significantly affected the total nutrients were the available nutrients (0.396**) and the enzyme activities (0.600**). Simple Summary: Gastric cancer (GC) is a severe disease with high mortality. There is an immediate demand for GC prognostic markers. The biological role of the lethal (3) malignant brain tumor-like 3 (L3MBTL3) has been investigated in human malignancies, but its involvement in GC is not well understood. This research seeks to better understand L3MBTL3's prognostic significance and expression profiles in GC. We examined the expression and prognostic significance of L3MBTL3 in GC using bioinformatic analysis. A functional enrichment analysis was conducted to explore the potential mechanisms. The correlations between L3MBTL3 and immune infiltration were determined based on the TIMER database. Our work revealed that L3MBTL3 is a promising diagnostic and prognostic marker for GC, opening new avenues for research and treatment. Recent research has linked lethal (3) malignant brain tumor-like 3 (L3MBTL3) to cancer aggressiveness and a dismal prognosis, but its function in gastric cancer (GC) is unclear. This research investigated the association between L3MBTL3 expression and clinicopathological characteristics of GC cases, as well as its prognostic value and biological function based on large-scale databases and clinical samples. The results showed that L3MBTL3 expression was upregulated in malignant GC tissues, which was associated with a shortened survival time and poor clinicopathological characteristics, including TNM staging. A functional enrichment analysis including GO/KEGG and GSEA illustrated the enrichment of different L3MBTL3-associated pathways involved in carcinogenesis and immune response. In addition, the correlations between L3MBTL3 and tumor-infiltrating immune cells were determined based on the TIMER database; the results showed that L3MBTL3 was associated with the immune infiltration of macrophages and their polarization from M1 to M2. Furthermore, our findings suggested a possible function for L3MBTL3 in the regulation of the tumor immune microenvironment of GC. Typical edge defects in the edge region of a new cemented carbide insert without edge preparation include burrs, poor surface quality, micro-breakages, and irregularities along the edge. To address the problems in new cemented carbide inserts without edge preparations, a chemical–mechanical synergistic preparation (CMSP) method for the cemented carbide insert cutting edge was proposed. Firstly, the CMSP device for the insert cutting edge was constructed. Then, the polishing slurry of the CMSP for the insert cutting edge was optimized using the Taguchi method combined with a grey relation analysis and fuzzy inference. Finally, orthogonal experiments, the Taguchi method, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to investigate the effect of the polishing plate's rotational speed, swing angle, and input frequency of the controller on the edge preparation process, and the parameters were optimized. The results showed that the best parameter combination for the polishing slurry for the cemented carbide inserts was the mass concentration of the abrasive particle of 10 wt%, the mass concentration of the oxidant of 10 wt%, the mass concentration of the dispersant of 2 wt%, and the pH of 8. The CMSP process parameter combination for the linear edge had the polishing plate's rotational speed of 90 rpm, the swing angle of 6°, and the input frequency of the controller of 5000 Hz. The optimum CMSP process parameter combination for the circular edge had the polishing plate's rotational speed of 90 rpm, the swing angle of 6°, and the input frequency of the controller of 7000 Hz. The polishing plate's rotational speed had the most significant impact on the edge preparation process, followed by the swing angle, and the effect of the input frequency of the controller was the smallest. The BeiDou-3 system (BDS-3) broadcasts PPP-B2b signals to provide real-time PPP service. Compared with the traditional PPP technique, the PPP-B2b service broadcasts corrections through satellite links, covers a wide area, and is independent of the internet. With the PPP-B2b service, users can obtain high-precision positioning information through the real-time PPP. Many studies have been conducted to evaluate the positioning performance of PPP-B2b. In theory, high-precision timing information could also be obtained through PPP-B2b. With the development of science and technology, the need for highly accurate time measurement, even at the sub-nanosecond level, is experiencing significant growth. However, the GNSS standard timing service can hardly meet these requirements. This contribution analyzes the timing performance of the PPP-B2b service and proposes a sub-nanosecond precise timing method of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) based on the PPP-B2b service. BDS-3 and GPS observations from nine tracking stations and real-time collected PPP-B2b corrections over 516 days were used to analyze the performance of the proposed timing method. The results show that: (1) The difference between the PPP-B2b-restored UTC, which was realized by one-way timing with the UTC offsets in broadcast ephemeris, and UTC (NTSC), fluctuates within a few ns. (2) The timing uncertainty of the zero baseline based on the proposed method is better than 0.2 ns. (3) Compared with the post-processed PPP time transfer, the UTC dissemination uncertainty of the short and long baseline with the proposed method is better than 0.7 ns. The 2023 International African Swine Fever Workshop (IASFW) took place in Beijing, China, on 18–20 September 2023. It was jointly organized by the U.S.-China Center for Animal Health (USCCAH) at Kansas State University (KSU) and the Chinese Veterinary Drug Association (CVDA) and sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA-FAS), Harbin Veterinary Research Institute, and Zoetis Inc. The objective of this workshop was to provide a platform for ASF researchers around the world to unite and share their knowledge and expertise on ASF control and prevention. A total of 24 outstanding ASF research scientists and experts from 10 countries attended this meeting. The workshop included presentations on current ASF research, opportunities for scientific collaboration, and discussions of lessons and experiences learned from China/Asia, Africa, and Europe. To further improve the performance of the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC), in this paper, we designed a blocked flow channel with trapezoidal baffles, and geometric parameters of the baffle were optimized based on CFD simulation, Artificial Neural Network (ANN), and single-objective optimization methods. The analysis of velocity, pressure, and oxygen distribution in the cathode flow channel shows that the optimized trapezoidal baffle can improve oxygen transport during the reaction. The comparison of the optimization model with the straight flow channel model and the rectangular baffle model shows that the power density of the optimized model is 4.0% higher than that of the straight flow channel model at a voltage of 0.3 V, and the pressure drop is only 37.83% of that of the rectangular baffle model. For on-road PEMFC with a voltage of 0.6 V, the influence of pump power is significant, and the optimized trapezoidal baffle model has a net power increase of 1.47% compared to the rectangular baffle model at 50% pump efficiency and 3.94% at 30% pump efficiency. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of the robust optimization of the China–Europe freight train transportation organization under uncertain cargo transportation demand. The study commences by constructing a robust optimization model tailored for specific environments, which is further extended to address the complexities of uncertain freight demand. A notable aspect of this research is the adoption of an innovative approach to manage the uncertainties in freight transportation demand at each node, employing a box-type uncertainty set distribution. This methodology allows for an effective and balanced optimization strategy that accommodates the dynamic nature of demand fluctuations. The research findings underscore that increased robustness in the optimization model is associated with higher transportation costs within the China–Europe freight train network, especially under conditions of variable demand. The model demonstrates a preference for adjusting transportation costs to maintain the stability of the transportation scheme, particularly in response to wider variations in cargo demand. This strategy, prioritizing cost-effectiveness and adaptability, highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach to managing demand uncertainties. Soil salinity is a major soil threat, causing severe environmental problems. Soil salt stress limits N uptake and cotton growth, especially in arid regions. However, the mechanism underlying stress tolerance in cotton plants under different soil salinity levels has not been fully elucidated. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine the proportion and mechanism of cotton N uptake and transport under salt stress using the 15N isotope labeling technique. Cotton plants were grown in four undisturbed loamy soils (CK, non-salinity, <2 dS m−1; C1, low salinity, 2–4 dS m−1; C2, mid-salinity, 4–8 dS m−1; and C3, high salinity, 8–15 dS m−1) in the test pit experiments. The findings indicated that the cotton N uptake was limited by the soil salt stress and total N content, and the cotton 15N use efficiency decreased by 25–27% with increasing salinity (>4.0 dS m−1). The N transported to cotton from the 0–20 cm soil layer in C1 treatment was higher than from the 40–60 cm layer. Furthermore, the cotton fruit cultivated in C1 exhibited a notably elevated dry matter content compared to those cultivated in the control treatment. As the soil salt stress increased from the control treatment to C1, the cotton stems and fruits demonstrated a gradual enhancement in their N uptake and regulatory capabilities, albeit with a slight decrease observed in the leaves. These findings emphasize that soil salt stress diminishes cotton nitrogen uptake and transport, potentially exacerbating nitrogen pollution in the absence of optimized nitrogen fertilization. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most prevalent and second most lethal cancer globally, with gene mutations and tumor metastasis contributing to its poor prognosis. Single-cell sequencing technology enables high-throughput analysis of the genome, transcriptome, and epigenetic landscapes at the single-cell level. It offers significant insights into analyzing the tumor immune microenvironment, detecting tumor heterogeneity, exploring metastasis mechanisms, and monitoring circulating tumor cells (CTCs). This article provides a brief overview of the technical procedure and data processing involved in single-cell sequencing. It also reviews the current applications of single-cell sequencing in CRC research, aiming to enhance the understanding of intratumoral heterogeneity, CRC development, CTCs, and novel drug targets. By exploring the diverse molecular and clinicopathological characteristics of tumor heterogeneity using single-cell sequencing, valuable insights can be gained into early diagnosis, therapy, and prognosis of CRC. Accurate short-term prediction of metro passenger flow can offer significant assistance in optimizing train schedules, reducing congestion during peak times, and improving the service level of the metro system. Currently, most models do not fully utilize the high-resolution data aggregated by automatic fare collection systems. Therefore, we propose a model, called MST-GRT, that aggregates multi-time granularity data and considers multi-graph structures. Firstly, we analyze the correlation between metro passenger flow sequences at different time granularities and establish a principle for extracting the spatiotemporal correlation of data at different time granularities using the multi-graph neural network. Subsequently, we use residual blocks to construct a deep convolutional neural network to aggregate the data of different time granularities from small to large, obtaining multi-channel feature maps of multi-time granularity. To process the multi-channel feature maps, we use 2D dilated causal convolution to reconstruct the TCN (Temporal Convolutional Network) to compress the channel number of the feature maps and extract the time dependency of the data, and finally output the results through a fully connected layer. This paper explores the concept of a metasurfaced reverberation chamber (MRC) through empirical measurements, utilizing a 1-bit random coding metasurfaced stirrer within a standard reverberation chamber (RC). The study rigorously compares the performance of the MRC against traditional mechanical stirrers, both horizontal and vertical, in terms of key metrics. These metrics include the quality factor (Q factor), number of samples, standard deviation, angle autocorrelation, average K factor, total scattering cross section (TSCS), and the enhanced back scattering coefficient (eb). The results demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the MRC in the operational frequency range of the RC. Notably, the use of the 1-bit random coding metasurface stirrer shows potential in significantly expanding the test volume of the RC, marking a promising advancement in reverberation chamber technology. This study investigates the effects of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) drying technology on the drying kinetics, microstructure, quality, and nutritional components of carrots, along with conducting experiments on EHD drying under different voltage gradients. The experimental results showed that EHD drying technology could significantly increase the drying rate and the effective moisture diffusion coefficient. Within a certain range, the drying rate was directly proportional to the voltage. When the range was exceeded, the increase in voltage had a minimal effect on the drying rate. In terms of quality, the EHD drying group's color, shrinkage rate, and rehydration performance were superior to the control group, and different voltages had no significant effect on the shrinkage rate and rehydration performance. The retention of carotenoids in the EHD drying group was 1.58 to 2 times that of the control group. EHD drying had a negative impact on the total phenolic content and vitamin A content of dried carrot slices. Based on the results of infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the dehydrated carrot slices showed wrinkling due to water loss, with numerous pores, a generally intact structure, and retained functional groups. EHD drying had a significant impact on the secondary structure of proteins, where an increase in voltage led to an increase in disordered structure, with a smaller proportion of disordered structure in the lower voltage group compared to the control group, and a similar proportion of disordered structure between the higher voltage group and the control group. Results from low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) showed that EHD drying could retain more bound water compared to the control group, with the best retention of cellular bound water at a voltage of 26 kV and the best retention of cellular immobilized water at a voltage of 38 kV, indicating the superiority of EHD drying in preserving cellular structure. This study provided a theoretical basis and experimental foundation for the application of electrohydrodynamic drying technology to carrot drying, and promoted the practical application of EHD drying technology. The growth process of the stamen filament is crucial for plant reproduction. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of filament growth remain largely unclear. Our study has identified that MYB21 is involved in the regulation of filament growth in Arabidopsis. In comparison to the wild type, the cell length of the filaments is notably reduced in the myb21 mutant. Moreover, we found that KTN1, which encodes a microtubule-severing enzyme, is significantly upregulated in the myb21 mutant. Additionally, yeast one-hybrid assays demonstrated that MYB21 can bind to the promoter region of KTN1, suggesting that MYB21 might directly regulate the expression of KTN1. Finally, transcriptional activity experiments showed that MYB21 is capable of suppressing the driving activity of the KTN1 promoter. Anthocyanin accumulation in plants plays important roles in plant growth and development, as well as the response to environmental stresses. Anthocyanins have antioxidant properties and play an important role in maintaining the reactive oxygen species (ROS) homeostasis in plant cells. Furthermore, anthocyanins also act as a "sunscreen", reducing the damage caused by ultraviolet radiation under high-light conditions. The biosynthesis of anthocyanin in plants is mainly regulated by an MYB-bHLH-WD40 (MBW) complex. In recent years, many new regulators in different signals involved in anthocyanin biosynthesis were identified. This review focuses on the regulation network mediated by different environmental factors (such as light, salinity, drought, and cold stresses) and phytohormones (such as jasmonate, abscisic acid, salicylic acid, ethylene, brassinosteroid, strigolactone, cytokinin, and auxin). The objective of this experiment was to investigate the effects of 5,6-dimethylbenzimidazole (5,6-DMB) and cobalt (Co) on the ruminal vitamin B12 synthesis and fermentation parameters of sheep under high concentrate conditions. Twenty-four Kazakh rams (body weight = 39.23 ± 2.61 kg and 8 months old) fitted with permanent ruminal fistulas were randomly divided into four groups with six rams in each group. The control (CON) group was fed a basal ration with a concentrate-to-roughage ratio of 70:30, and the experimental groups (T60, T75 and T90) were fed a basal diet with 60 mg 5,6-DMB+ 0.25 mg Co, 75 mg 5,6-DMB+ 0.5 mg Co and 90 mg 5,6-DMB+ 0.75 mg Co supplied to each kilogram of basal diet, respectively. The experiment lasted for 26 days, with the first 14 days being an adaptation period to allow the sheep to adapt to the diet type and environment, and the second 12 days being a sample period. On 0, 7 and 12 d of the sample period, all sheep were weighed before the morning feed. Rumen fluid samples were collected from all sheep on the last 4 days of the sample period. The results showed that the ruminal vitamin B12 content was higher in trial groups than that of the CON group at 3 h after feeding (p < 0.05). Rumen pH was higher in trial groups than in the CON group at 1, 3 and 5 h after feeding (p < 0.05). The concentration of ruminal ammonia-N was significantly increased in trial groups when compared to the CON group (p < 0.05) at 1 and 3 h after feeding. At 1 and 3 h after feeding, the concentration of propionate in trial groups was higher than that in the CON group (p < 0.05). The rumen microbial protein content reached the highest value at 3 h after feeding, and all trial groups were higher than the CON group (p < 0.05). Thus, the supplementation of 5,6-DMB and Co increased vitamin B12, propionate, ammonia-N and microbial protein contents and pH in the rumen of sheep, and the best results were obtained by the amounts of 75 mg/kg 5,6-DMB and 0.5 mg/kg Co, respectively. To address the challenges associated with nonlinearity, non-stationarity, susceptibility to redundant noise interference, and the difficulty in extracting fault feature signals from rolling bearing signals, this study introduces a novel combined approach. The proposed method utilizes the variational mode decomposition (VMD) and K-singular value decomposition (K-SVD) algorithms to effectively denoise and enhance the collected rolling bearing signals. Initially, the VMD method is employed to separate the overall noise into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs), reducing the noise content within each IMF. To optimize the mode component, K, and the penalty factor, α, in VMD, an improved arithmetic optimization algorithm (IAOA) is employed. This ensures the selection of optimal parameters and the decomposition of the signal into a set of IMFs, forming the original dictionary. Subsequently, the signals are decomposed into multiple IMFs using VMD, and an original dictionary is constructed based on these IMFs. K-SVD is then applied to the original dictionary to further reduce the noise in each IMF, resulting in a denoised and enhanced signal. To validate the efficacy of the proposed method, rolling bearing signals collected from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and thrust bearing test rigs were utilized. The copolymer ethylene–octene (POE) has good aging resistance and is an inexpensive asphalt additive compared to the styrene–butadiene–styrene copolymer (SBS). However, POE is easy to segregate in asphalt during storage at high temperatures. Grafting glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) onto the molecular backbone of POE (i.e., POE-g-GMA) may solve this problem, for the epoxy groups in GMA can react with the active groups in asphalt. Asphalt modified with linear and crosslinked POE-g-GMA were prepared, and the hot storage stability, physical properties and thermal oxidation aging properties were discussed in detail. The results show that linear and low-degree crosslinked POE-g-GMA-modified asphalts are storage-stable at high temperatures via measurements of the difference in softening points and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) characterizations from macro and micro perspectives. The difference in softening points (ΔSP) between the upper and lower ends is no more than 3.5 °C for modified asphalts after 48 h of being in an oven at 163 °C. More importantly, the crosslinking modification of POE-g-GMA can further increase the softening point and reduce the penetration as well as rheological properties via conventional physical property, dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) and multiple-stress creep recovery (MSCR) tests. Furthermore, asphalt modified with crosslinked POE-g-GMA reveals better aging resistance via measurements of the performance retention rate and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) characterizations after a rolling thin film oven test (RTFOT). Microbubble cleaning technology has the characteristics of environmental protection and low energy consumption and has been initially applied in the field of oil sludge cleaning. For the controllability of microbubbles in the cleaning process, this paper adopted the numerical simulation method to quantitatively study the growth and collapse mechanism of bubbles in the cleaning process, the influence law of flow field, and parameter changes on the dynamic behavior of bubbles from the perspective of micro-dynamics. It was found that the dynamic characteristics of the flow field around the bubble in the free field show a symmetrical distribution, while the motion of the fluid near the wall is blocked by the wall, and the flow field between the bubble and the wall becomes irregular. It was also found that the large amplitude pressure changes in microbubbles produced a "plastic hinge" alternating impact on the wall, the bubble collapse, and wall pulsation pressure change are mainly controlled by the driving pressure. The liquid temperature mainly affects the dynamic characteristics of the bubble by causing a change in the viscosity of the medium. Under the condition of Pd = 0.1 MPa and γ = 1.5, when the liquid viscosity decreases from 0.110 to 0.00314 Pa·s, the maximum pressure affected by the first bubble collapse increases from 200.71 to 317.74 Kpa. Compared with the bubble distribution, the impact of increasing the number of bubbles on the wall is more significant. Under the condition of γ = 1 and Pd = 0.1 MPa, compared with the single bubble, the pulse pressure of nine bubbles' collapse on the wall increases by 100 KPa.
