Bulk density and porosity have great influence on the technical performance of an emulsified asphalt mixture, so in order to enhance the strength of the asphalt mixture, bulk density should be improved and porosity should be reduced. Considering the forming process of the emulsified asphalt mixture, the decrease in porosity can ensure the state of the mixture. In order to reduce the porosity of the emulsified asphalt mixture, an innovative forming process is proposed to improve the performance of the emulsified asphalt mixture, and its strength formation mechanism is explored in this paper. Three groups of emulsified asphalt mixtures (ARC-8 + SBR, SMA-5 + EVA, SMA-5 + SBR) were prepared by a conventional mixing process and novel mixing process. Marshall test of the emulsified asphalt mixture, CT scanning test of the emulsified asphalt mixture, workability test and analysis were manufactured and tested. The results show that, compared with conventional methods, the innovative forming method can increase the bulk density of the mixture and reduce the porosity, and thus improve its technical performance. The reason is that most of the water in the mixture of the innovative forming method sticks to the outer surface of the fine aggregate, and the water is more easily discharged. Secondly, the fine aggregate of the innovative forming method is directly mixed with the emulsion, and the volume is smaller. The emulsion wraps the fine aggregate in it due to the surface tension, which enhances the adhesion effect, thus improving the strength of the mixture.

Soil is a main source of fluoride for plants. The tea plants (Camellia sinensis) accumulate excessive amounts of fluoride in their leaves compared to other plants, but their fluoride tolerance mechanism is poorly understood. A chloroplast fluoride efflux gene (CsABCB9) was newly discovered by using transcriptome analysis, cloned from Camellia sinensis, and its function was demonstrated in the fluoride detoxication mechanism in Escherichia coli/Xenopus laevis oocytes and Arabidopsis thaliana. CsABCB9 is expressed in tea leaves upon F− treatment. The growth of tea, E. coli, and Arabidopsis were inhibited by F− treatment. However, growth of CsABCB9-overexpression in E. coli was shown to increase with lower fluoride content under F− treatment compared to the control. Furthermore, chlorophyll, xanthophyll and soluble sugar contents of CsABCB9-overexpression in Arabidopsis were improved under F− treatment compared to the wild type. CsABCB9 functions in fluoride transport, and the mechanism by which CsABCB9 improves fluoride resistance in tea is mainly chloroplast protection through fluoride efflux.

Background: Regenerative medicine strategies employing nephron progenitor cells (NPCs) are a viable approach that is worthy of substantial consideration as a promising cell source for kidney diseases. However, the generation of induced nephron progenitor-like cells (iNPCs) from human somatic cells remains a major challenge. Here, we describe a novel method for generating NPCs from human urine-derived cells (UCs) that can undergo long-term expansion in a serum-free condition., Results: Here, we generated iNPCs from human urine-derived cells by forced expression of the transcription factors OCT4, SOX2, KLF4, c-MYC, and SLUG, followed by exposure to a cocktail of defined small molecules. These iNPCs resembled human embryonic stem cell-derived NPCs in terms of their morphology, biological characteristics, differentiation potential, and global gene expression and underwent a long-term expansion in serum-free conditions., Conclusion: This study demonstrates that human iNPCs can be readily generated and expanded, which will facilitate their broad applicability in a rapid, efficient, and patient-specific manner, particularly holding the potential as a transplantable cell source for patients with kidney disease.

As the environmental pollution issue has recently become significant, environmental regulations in Europe and the United States are being strengthened. Thus, there is a demand for the quality improvement of emission after-treatment systems to satisfy the strengthened environmental regulations. Reducing the amount of welding heat distortion by optimization of the welding order of each part could be a solution for quality improvement since the emission after-treatment system consists of many parts and each assembly is produced by welding individual ones. In this research, a method to derive a welding sequence that effectively minimizes welding deformation was proposed. A two-stage simulation was performed to obtain the optimal welding sequence. In the first stage, the welding sequence was derived by analyzing the number of welding groups in each assembly of a structure. The derived welding sequence was verified by performing a thermal elasto-plastic analysis and comparing it with the experimental results.

We present the intra- and inter-molecular organocatalysis of S N 2 fluorination using CsF by crown ether to estimate the efficacy of the promoter and to elucidate the reaction mechanism. The yields of intramolecular S N 2 fluorination of the veratrole substrates are measured to be very small (<1% in 12 h) in the absence of crown ether promoters, whereas the S N 2 fluorination of the substrate possessing a crown ether unit proceeds to near completion (~99%) in 12 h. We also studied the efficacy of intermolecular rate acceleration by an independent promoter 18-crown-6 for comparison. We find that the fluorinating yield of a veratrole substrate (leaving group = -OMs) in the presence of 18-crown-6 follows the almost identical kinetic course as that of intramolecular S N 2 fluorination, indicating the mechanistic similarity of intra- and inter-molecular organocatalysis of the crown ether for S N 2 fluorination. The calculated relative Gibbs free energies of activation for these reactions, in which the crown ether units act as Lewis base promoters for S N 2 fluorination, are in excellent agreement with the experimentally measured yields of fluorination. Human neural stem cells (NSCs) hold enormous promise for neurological disorders, typically requiring their expandable and differentiable properties for regeneration of damaged neural tissues. Despite the therapeutic potential of induced NSCs (iNSCs), a major challenge for clinical feasibility is the presence of integrated transgenes in the host genome, contributing to the risk for undesired genotoxicity and tumorigenesis. Here, we describe the advanced transgene-free generation of iNSCs from human urine-derived cells (HUCs) by combining a cocktail of defined small molecules with self-replicable mRNA delivery. The established iNSCs were completely transgene-free in their cytosol and genome and further resembled human embryonic stem cell-derived NSCs in the morphology, biological characteristics, global gene expression, and potential to differentiate into functional neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes. Moreover, iNSC colonies were observed within eight days under optimized conditions, and no teratomas formed in vivo, implying the absence of pluripotent cells. This study proposes an approach to generate transplantable iNSCs that can be broadly applied for neurological disorders in a safe, efficient, and patient-specific manner.

Recently, there has been a growing interest in underground construction safety, during activities such as subway construction, underground mining, and tunnel excavation. While Internet of Things (IoT) sensors help to monitor these conditions, large-scale deployment is limited by high power needs and complex tunnel layouts, making real-time response a critical challenge. A delay-sensitive multi-sensor multi-base-station routing scheduling method is proposed for the IoT in underground mining. First, a mixed network topology of wireless and wired networks is formed based on the irregular distribution characteristics of multiple tunnels in the mine construction environment. Based on this topology, a multi-sensor and multi-base-station real-time routing scheduling problem is proposed, proving that the problem is NP-hard. Secondly, the corresponding solving algorithms are designed based on the greedy strategy and the heuristic strategy. Graphene oxide (GO) has been verified to ameliorate the performance attenuation of cement-based materials exposed to high temperatures; however, its efficacy on cement-based materials containing recycled fine aggregates (RFAs) remains ambiguous. Therefore, this study assesses the macro/microperformance variations in mortar containing RFAs with diverse GO dosages (0~0.08%) after high-temperature exposure. The hydration products, pore structure, and microstructure of mortar containing RFAs and GO were analyzed using an X-ray diffractometer, mercury intrusion porosimetry, and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The study finds that GO can reduce the mass loss rate of mortar exposed to high temperatures and enhance the residual compressive strength and flexural strength. The incorporation of 0.06% GO leads to a 10.4% increase in compressive strength and a 32.3% increase in the flexural strength of mortar containing 50% RFA after high-temperature exposure at 500 °C. Furthermore, the incorporation of GO refined the pore size and improved the densification of the interfacial transition zone (ITZ) of the mortar after high-temperature exposure. Taking into account the mechanical properties, water absorption, and microstructure of the mortar containing RFAs, a GO dosage of 0.04~0.06% could be recommended as the optimum engineering dosage. Since the mid-1990s, X-ray phase contrast imaging (XPCI) has attracted increasing interest in the industrial and bioimaging fields due to its high sensitivity to weakly absorbing materials and has gained widespread acceptance. XPCI can simultaneously provide three imaging modalities with complementary information, offering enriched details and data. This study proposes an image fusion method that simultaneously retrieves the three complementary channels of XPCI. It integrates block features, non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT), and a spiking cortical model (SCM), comprising three steps: (I) Image denoising, (II) Block-based feature-level NSCT-SCM fusion, and (III) Image quality enhancement. Compared with other methods in the XPCI image fusion field, the fusion results of the proposed algorithm demonstrated significant advantages, particularly with an impressive increase in the standard deviation by over 50% compared to traditional NSCT-SCM. The results revealed that the proposed algorithm exhibits high contrast, clear contours, and a short operation time. Experimental outcomes also demonstrated that the block-based feature extraction procedure performs better in retaining edge strength and texture information, with released computational resource consumption, thus, offering new possibilities for the industrial application of XPCI technology. The potential health risks posed by the coexistence of nanoplastics (NPs) and triclosan (TCS) have garnered significant attention. However, the effects and underlying mechanisms of NPs and TCS on key functional proteins at the molecular level remain poorly understood. This study reports the effect of polystyrene nanoplastics (PSNPs) on the binding of TCS to human serum albumin (HSA) using multispectral methods and molecular simulation systems. The experimental results show that TCS significantly inhibits HSA esterase activity, with exacerbating inhibition in the presence of PSNPs, which is attributed to the alteration of HSA conformation and microenvironment of the amino acid residues induced by PSNPs. Molecular docking and site marker competitive studies indicate that TCS predominantly binds to site I of subdomain Sudlow II and the presence of PSNPs does not affect the binding sites. Spectra analyses indicate that the quenching mechanism between TCS and HSA belongs to the static quenching type and the presence of PSNPs does not change the fluorescence quenching type. The HSA fluorescence quenching and the conformational alterations induced by TCS are further enhanced in the presence of PSNPs, indicating that PSNPs enhance the binding of TCS to HSA by making TCS more accessible to the binding sites. Extracting fragmented cropland is essential for effective cropland management and sustainable agricultural development. However, extracting fragmented cropland presents significant challenges due to its irregular and blurred boundaries, as well as the diversity in crop types and distribution. Deep learning methods are widely used for land cover classification. This paper proposes ConvNeXt-U, a lightweight deep learning network that efficiently extracts fragmented cropland while reducing computational requirements and saving costs. ConvNeXt-U retains the U-shaped structure of U-Net but replaces the encoder with a simplified ConvNeXt architecture. The decoder remains unchanged from U-Net, and the lightweight CBAM (Convolutional Block Attention Module) is integrated. This module adaptively adjusts the channel and spatial dimensions of feature maps, emphasizing key features and suppressing redundant information, which enhances the capture of edge features and improves extraction accuracy. The case study area is Hengyang County, Hunan Province, China, using GF-2 remote sensing imagery. The results show that ConvNeXt-U outperforms existing methods, such as Swin Transformer (Acc = 85.1%, IoU = 79.1%), MobileNetV3 (Acc = 83.4%, IoU = 77.6%), VGG16 (Acc = 80.5%, IoU = 74.6%), and ResUnet (Acc = 81.8%, IoU = 76.1%), achieving an IoU of 79.5% and Acc of 85.2%. Under the same conditions, ConvNeXt-U has a faster inference speed of 37 images/s, compared to 28 images/s for Swin Transformer, 35 images/s for MobileNetV3, and 0.43 and 0.44 images/s for VGG16 and ResUnet, respectively. Moreover, ConvNeXt-U outperforms other methods in processing the boundaries of fragmented cropland, producing clearer and more complete boundaries. The results indicate that the ConvNeXt and CBAM modules significantly enhance the accuracy of fragmented cropland extraction. This article presents the results of experimental studies on the influence of the geometry of high-voltage plasma actuator electrodes on the change in flow in the boundary layer and their influence on the change in the lift coefficient. The plasma actuator used in the described experimental studies has a completely different structure. The experimental model of the plasma actuator uses a large mesh ground electrode and different geometries of the high-voltage electrodes, namely copper solid electrodes and mesh electrodes (the use of mesh electrodes, large GND and HV is a new solution). The plasma actuator was placed directly on the surface of the wing model with the SD 7003 profile. The wing model with the plasma actuator was placed in the wind tunnel. All experimental tests carried out were carried out for various configurations. The DBD plasma actuator was powered by a high-voltage power supply with a voltage range from Vp = 7.5–15 kV. The use of a high-voltage mesh electrode allowed for an increase in the lift coefficient (CL) for the angle of attack α = 5 degrees and the air flow velocity in the range from V = 5 m/s to 20 m/s, while the use of copper electrodes HV with the plasma actuator turned off and on, were very small (close to zero). This study aims to elucidate the historical justification for protection and restoration efforts in China while also examining the theoretical underpinnings of ecological conservation and restoration. Utilizing a literature review method, logical reasoning method, and inductive summarizing method, the historical and theoretical frameworks of territorial spatial ecological conservation and restoration are elucidated, leading to the following conclusions: (1) The ecological protection and restoration of national land space represents an advanced form of land remediation; however, they differ in terms of objects, principles, goals, and measures. (2) Territorial space ecological protection and restoration is historically unavoidable due to the current phase of societal development, driven by the natural environment and the necessity to establish an ecological civilization. (3) To implement territorial spatial ecological protection and restoration effectively and rationally, it is essential to comprehend its systematicity, territoriality, dynamics, and scientificity. By clarifying its historical and theoretical rationale, we can achieve a deeper understanding of its current relevance. Changes in land cover and land use (LULC) can impact water availability by altering the structure and functioning of land ecosystems. Accurately projecting the impacts of LULC on water yield (WY) is of utmost importance for regional landscape management. Taking the rapidly urbanizing Taihu Lake Basin (TLB) as an example, coupled with the PLUS-InVEST model, three scenarios of a natural development (ND) scenario, urban development (UD) scenario, and ecological protection (EP) scenario were set to simulate the response mechanisms of land use changes for WY and the influence of policy-making on the water conservation capacity of river basins. (1) During 2000 and 2020, the Taihu Lake Basin (TLB) experienced rapid urbanization, which was evident in the conversion of forest and cropland for urban development. (2) From 2000 to 2020, the TLB's WY first decreased and then increased, ranging from 201.52 × 108 m3 to 242.70 × 108 m3. Spatially, an uneven distribution pattern of WY depth emerged, with mountainous and hilly regions exhibiting higher WY compared to plain areas. Temporally, changes in total WY were primarily influenced by precipitation, while areas with increased WY showed a certain correlation with regions experiencing an expansion of construction land. (3) By 2030, the TLB will continue to expand construction land under the UD scenario, while the area of ecological land will expand under the EP scenario. WY is expected to vary across scenarios, with the highest yield observed under the UD scenario, followed by the ND scenario, while the EP scenario exhibits the lowest yield. These findings can offer scientifically informed insights and guidance for future WY changes, carrying substantial effects for maintaining ecological preservation and promoting high-quality development in the TLB. Comprehensive land improvement causes strong disturbances of land use patterns in the short term, resulting in changes in landscape structure and function. This study adopts the moving window method and semi-variation function to explore the spatial scale effect of landscape pattern metrics in the comprehensive land consolidation project area of Baimahu Farm, and the spatial variability and homologous ecological processes. The results showed that: (1) patch density, largest patch index, area-weighted average shape index, contagion, and division index all showed obvious scale effects, and the suitable first and second scale domains in the study area are 5–7 m and 35–40 m, respectively, and 5 m is the most suitable grain size for the study of landscape pattern change. (2) The block basis ratio of the semi-variogram of the six landscape level indices begins to stabilize at the window radius of 210 m. This scale can reflect the spatial variability of the landscape pattern in the study area and is the most suitable analysis range. (3) The fragmentation degree of paddy fields as landscape matrix decreased and the landscape dominance degree increased in the comprehensive land improvement; the degree of fragmentation of irrigated land and agricultural land for facilities increased, the aggregation of land for construction increased, the dominance degree of the pond surface decreased, and the overall landscape diversity of each mosaic decreased; the landscape heterogeneity of ditches, rural roads, forest and grassland corridors was weakened, and the ecosystem service function was weakened. (4) The trend of increased fragmentation, simplification of landscape types, and decreased diversity presented by the landscape pattern clearly indicates that the landscape pattern of the study area has been seriously damaged to some extent under the influence of human activities. Crystallization-induced blockages in tunnel drainage systems pose significant challenges to their functionality and longevity. To address this issue, this study proposes a novel adaptive drainage pipe designed to prevent crystallization. By constructing an indoor experimental model for anti-crystallization tests, combined with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and molecular dynamics simulations, this study investigates the mechanism and effectiveness of the proposed system. The findings reveal that flexible PVC pipes in dynamic flow and expansion states significantly reduce crystallization compared to conventional PVC pipes. Among tested materials, EVA and TPU demonstrate superior crystallization resistance, with EVA exhibiting the lowest crystallization accumulation (7.13 g/m). Molecular dynamics simulations further elucidated the influence of material properties on the diffusion coefficient and binding energy of calcium carbonate crystals, with EVA showing the lowest binding energy with calcium carbonate at 135.11 kcal/mol, ultimately confirming EVA as the optimal material for crystallization prevention. This syndrome arises from immunological cross-reactivity between pollen allergens and structurally similar proteins found in various fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Although typically presenting with mild oral and pharyngeal symptoms, PFAS can occasionally result in severe allergic reactions, underscoring its clinical significance. This review explores the pathophysiology of PFAS, highlighting the molecular mechanisms underlying cross-reactivity and examining the main protein families involved, including those contributing to variations in symptom severity. Current diagnostic approaches, including skin prick testing, specific immunoglobulin E measurements, and component-resolved diagnostics, are discussed. Emerging diagnostic tools and biomarkers with potential to enhance accuracy are also examined. Therapeutic strategies for PFAS primarily focus on symptom management and avoidance of trigger foods. However, novel approaches such as allergen immunotherapy and biologics targeting key immune pathways are gaining traction as potential interventions for more severe or refractory cases. Numerous studies have investigated the surface treatment of implants using various types of plasma, including atmospheric pressure plasma and vacuum plasma, to remove impurities and increase surface energy, thereby enhancing osseointegration. Most previous studies have focused on generating plasma directly on the implant surface by using the implant as an electrode for plasma discharge. However, plasmas generated under atmospheric and moderate vacuum conditions often have a limited plasma volume, meaning the shape of the electrodes significantly influences the local electric field characteristics, which in turn affects plasma behavior. Consequently, to ensure consistent performance across implants of different sizes and shapes, it is essential to develop a plasma source with discharge characteristics that are unaffected by the treatment target, ensuring uniform exposure. To address this challenge, we developed a novel plasma source, termed "vortex plasma", which generates uniform plasma using a magnetic field within a controlled space. We then compared the surface treatment efficiency of the vortex plasma to that of conventional direct plasma discharge by evaluating hydrophilicity, surface chemistry, and surface morphology. In addition, to assess the biological outcomes, we examined osteoblast cell activity on both the vortex and direct plasma-treated surfaces. Our results demonstrate that vortex plasma improved hydrophilicity, reduced carbon content, and enhanced osteoblast adhesion and activity to a level comparable to direct plasma, all while maintaining the physical surface structure and morphology. The imbalance between supply and demand for slot resources and empty containers has led to resource waste and excessive operating costs for liner companies. Moreover, intense competition among ports has made both container ship slots and port equipment resource allocation inefficient. To address these challenges, this paper aims to solve the collaborative optimization problem of slot allocation and empty container repositioning within port clusters concerning inventory control. A cooperative possession strategy and a hybrid (T, s) inventory control policy are incorporated in this paper. A novel mixed-integer programming model is proposed, enabling us to simultaneously track slot allocation, empty container repositioning, empty container leasing, and slot renting. To solve the model, a new branch-and-bound algorithm based on Lagrangian relaxation and the ascendancy principle (BBLRAP) is developed. Numerical experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm. The results show that the new collaborative optimization method, incorporating the cooperative possession strategy and (T, s) inventory policy, can increase liner company revenues by expanding market share, reducing costs, and improving the utilization of slot resources, ultimately achieving a win–win outcome for both liner companies and their partners. Compared to state-of-the-art studies, the following paper makes new contributions to proposing a cooperative possession strategy within port clusters for the first time. This article provides a comprehensive review of the current results of pear-picking technology, delving into the development process, classification, application status, and development trends of picking machinery, picking robots, and intelligent technology. By analyzing the key technologies in pear fruit harvesting, this paper explores the working principles of harvesting machinery, the technical characteristics of harvesting robots, and the potential applications of intelligent technology. Furthermore, a bibliometric analysis was employed to examine two decades of the research literature on Korla fragrant pear, spanning from January 2004 to June 2024, utilizing the core collection of the Web of Science and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure database as the retrieval platforms. The visualization of the analysis results indicates that the focal points of research in this field are predominantly aspects such as the quality and storage conditions of fragrant pears, with a scarcity of studies directed toward mechanized harvesting. Additionally, this study addresses the existing challenges and issues within pear-picking technology and delineates potential avenues for future development, with the objective of providing a foundation for subsequent research on Korla fragrant pear-harvesting technology. The sensitivity of positron annihilation characteristics to changes in the molecular packing in network-forming polymers has been demonstrated since the early 1980s. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) is a unique technique that can provide direct information on the free volume in polymers through the experimental parameters of the free volume hole distribution, their mean value, and volume fraction. This knowledge is currently applied for PALS investigations on the main processes that govern the molecular organization in some green polymers when subjected to different synthesis procedures or environmental conditions (humidity, physical aging, temperature). In this article, which includes a wide repertoire of works published in the last two decades, results of PALS studies on eco-sustainable polymer systems based on starch, chitosan, or vegetable oils, are analyzed and discussed. Every 25th death worldwide is associated with liver pathology. The development of novel approaches to liver diseases therapy and protocols for maintaining the vital functions of patients on the liver transplant waiting list are urgently needed. Resident mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) play a significant role in supporting liver tissue integrity and improve the liver condition after infusion. However, it remains unclear whether MSCs isolated from chronically inflamed livers are similar in their basic cellular properties to MSCs obtained from healthy livers. We applied a large array of tests to compare resident MSCs isolated from apparently normal liver tissue and from chronically inflamed livers of patients with fibrosis, cirrhosis, and viral hepatitis. Chronic inflammatory environment did not alter the major cellular characteristics of MSCs, including the expression of MSC markers, stem cell markers, adhesion molecules, and the hallmarks of senescence, as well as cell proliferation, migration, and secretome. Only the expression of some immune checkpoints and toll-like receptors was different. Evidently, MSCs with unchanged cellular properties are present in human liver even at late stages of inflammatory diseases. Globally, widespread tuberculosis is one of the acute problems of healthcare. Drug-resistant forms of tuberculosis require a personalized approach to treatment. Currently, rapid methods for detecting drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) to some antituberculosis drugs are often used and involve optical, electrochemical, or PCR-based assays. Despite the large number of these assays, it is necessary to develop new tests (for drug-resistant MTB strains) that are structurally simple and do not require specialized equipment. Colorimetric assays involving a colloidal solution of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have good potential for the development of the needed diagnostic tools. Here, conditions were found for the formation of tandem duplexes between DNA probes and DNA targets, representing a part of MTB gene gyrA, either wildtype or containing a single-nucleotide polymorphism associated with fluoroquinolone resistance of MTB. Adsorption of the duplexes on AuNPs allowed to distinguish the two targets owing to the formation of nano-constructs of different structures. Interaction of DNA with AuNPs was analyzed by optical spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscopy. A scheme is proposed for direct colorimetric detection of the fluoroquinolone-resistance-associated single-nucleotide polymorphism at a 2 nM concentration in a liquid system based on a shift of AuNPs' optical absorption maximum. Dialogue systems must understand children's utterance intentions by considering their unique linguistic characteristics, such as syntactic incompleteness, pronunciation inaccuracies, and creative expressions, to enable natural conversational engagement in child–robot interactions. Even state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) for language understanding and contextual awareness cannot comprehend children's intent as accurately as humans because of their distinctive features. An LLM-based dialogue system should acquire the manner by which humans understand children's speech to enhance its intention reasoning performance in verbal interactions with children. To this end, we propose a fine-tuning methodology that utilizes the LLM–human judgment discrepancy and interactive response data. The former data represent cases in which the LLM and human judgments of the contextual appropriateness of a child's answer to a robot's question diverge. The latter data involve robot responses suitable for children's utterance intentions, generated by the LLM. We developed a fine-tuned dialogue system using these datasets to achieve human-like interpretations of children's utterances and to respond adaptively. Our system was evaluated through human assessment using the Robotic Social Attributes Scale (RoSAS) and Sensibleness and Specificity Average (SSA) metrics. Consequently, it supports the effective interpretation of children's utterance intentions and enables natural verbal interactions, even in cases with syntactic incompleteness and mispronunciations. As an effective solution to the first- and last-mile logistics of door-to-door intermodal container transportation, inland container transportation involves transporting containers by truck between terminals, depots, and customers within a local area. This paper is the first to focus specifically on the inland container transportation problem with limited depot capacity, where the storage of empty containers is constrained by physical space limitations. To reflect a more realistic scenario, we also consider the initial stock levels of empty containers at the depot. The objective of this problem is to schedule trucks to fulfill inland container transportation orders such that the overall cost is minimum and the depot is neither out of stock or over stocked at any time. A novel graphical representation is introduced to model the constraints of empty containers and depot capacity in a linear form. This problem is then mathematically modeled as a mixed-integer linear programming formulation. To avoid discretizing the time horizon and effectively achieve the optimal solution, we design a tailored branch-and-price-and-cut algorithm where violated empty container constraints for critical times are dynamically integrated into the restricted master problem. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is enhanced through the implementation of several techniques, such as a heuristic label-setting method, decremental state-space relaxation, and the utilization of high-quality upper bounds. Extensive computational studies are performed to assess the performance of the proposed algorithm and justify the introduction of enhancement strategies. Rapid population growth accelerates changes in land use and land cover (LULC), straining natural resource availability. Monitoring LULC changes is essential for managing resources and assessing climate change impacts. This study focused on extracting LULC data from 1993 to 2024 using the classification and regression tree (CART) method on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform in Qena Governorate, Egypt. Moreover, the cellular automata (CA) Markov model was used to anticipate the future changes in LULC for the research area in 2040 and 2050. Three multispectral satellite images—Landsat thematic mapper (TM), enhanced thematic mapper (ETM+), and operational land imager (OLI)—were analyzed and verified using the GEE code editor. The CART classifier, integrated into GEE, identified four major LULC categories: urban areas, water bodies, cultivated soils, and bare areas. From 1993 to 2008, urban areas expanded by 57 km2, while bare and cultivated soils decreased by 12.4 km2 and 42.7 km2, respectively. Between 2008 and 2024, water bodies increased by 24.4 km2, urban areas gained 24.2 km2, and cultivated and bare soils declined by 22.2 km2 and 26.4 km2, respectively. The CA-Markov model's thematic maps highlighted the spatial distribution of forecasted LULC changes for 2040 and 2050. The results indicated that the urban areas, agricultural land, and water bodies will all increase. However, as anticipated, the areas of bare lands shrank during the years under study. These findings provide valuable insights for decision makers, aiding in improved land-use management, strategic planning for land reclamation, and sustainable agricultural production programs. Background: This experiment evaluated whether the combination of essential oils (thyme, rosemary, orange) with extracts of Cinnamomum and Quillaja saponaria (enriched with tocopherols) in steers' diet has positive effects on the health, digestibility, growth, oxidative stress, and fatty acid profile of meat. Methods: The experiment included 24 Holstein steers, divided into two groups, randomly divided (treated = phytogenic mixture (n = 12); control = monensin (n = 12)), undergoing a growth phase of 120 days and 90 days of finishing in individual pens, with a monthly collection of blood, rumen fluid, feces, and feed. Results: In the finishing phase (days 150 to 210), there was a tendency (p = 0.07) toward more significant average daily weight gain when cattle consumed a phytogenic mixture than monensin. The use of the phytogenic product showed greater feed efficiency in the period from 150 to 240 days (p < 0.05), with higher levels of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), without differences in the composition of these SCFAs between the control and treated groups, with a reduction in apparent digestibility in the treated group. In blood parameters, the treated group showed higher erythrocyte counts (p < 0.05) without changes in leukocytes, lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes, and platelets. The phytogenic treatment demonstrated higher total protein and globulin levels, with increased glucose levels on days 30 and 210 (p < 0.05). Ceruloplasmin and haptoglobin levels increased in the treated group without changes in ferritin, transferrin, C-reactive protein, IgA, and heavy-chain immunoglobulins (p < 0.05). A reduction in oxidative stress was observed using the phytogenic agent, with a marked decrease in the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and carbonyl proteins, with a tendency to increase glutathione S-transferase (p < 0.05). In meat, the phytogenic reduced saturated fatty acids with increased polyunsaturated fatty acids and increased the omega 6/omega 3 ratio. Lower levels of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and ROS were detected in the meat combined with a higher concentration of total thiols in the treated group than in the control group. Conclusions: The use of the phytogenic in steers' diets has shown to be a viable candidate for replacing monensin, presenting equal or superior performance results with systemic modulating effects on oxidative stress, meat quality, and serum and biochemical parameters that contribute to more substantial health and efficiency. As an important biomass resource, γ-valerolactone (GVL) shows considerable potential for applications in biofuel production, organic synthesis, polymer, and food industries. Herein, an effective method was presented for synthesizing GVL through the catalytic transfer hydrogenation (CTH) of ethyl levulinate (EL) under mild conditions. Using isopropanol as a hydrogen donor, a 100% conversion of ethyl levulinate and an 88.7% yield of GVL were achieved over 2%Zr-Beta-7d catalyst at 110 °C for 8 h. The acidic sites of synthesized Zr-Beta via hydrothermal methods easily adjusted and offered high catalytic activity and selectivity. The Lewis (L) acid sites on the zeolite serve as the active centers for the conversion of EL. Characterization results indicate that the amounts of L acid sites on Zr-Beta increased with the Zr content and crystallization time rose, thus enhancing the selectivity for GVL. Additionally, the influences of catalyst dosage, reaction temperature, and time on catalytic performance are studied, as well as calculations of kinetic parameters such as reaction rate constants and activation energies. The 2%Zr-Beta-7d catalyst retains its high performance after five cycles. The current research may present an efficient approach for the conversion of EL to GVL under mild conditions. This study examined the effects of heat treatment on the microstructure and dynamic deformation characteristics of AA2519 aluminum alloy in T4, T6, and T8 tempers under high strain rates of 1000–4000 s−1. A Split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) was utilized to characterize the mechanical response, and microstructural analysis was performed to examine the material's microstructure. The findings indicated varied deformation across all three temper conditions. The dynamic behavior of each temper is influenced by its strength properties, which are determined by the aging type and the subsequent transformation of strengthening precipitates, along with the initial microstructure. At a strain rate of 1500 s−1, AA2519-T6 demonstrated a peak dynamic yield strength of 509 MPa and a flow stress of 667 MPa. These values are comparable to those recorded for AA2519-T8 at a strain rate of 3500 s−1. AA2519-T4 exhibited the lowest strength and flow stress characteristics. The T6 temper demonstrated initial stress collapse, dynamic strain aging, and an increased tendency for shear band formation and fracture within the defined strain rate range. The strain rates all showed similar trends in terms of strain hardening rate. The damage evolution of the alloy primarily involved the nucleation, shearing, and cracking of dispersoid particles. Peripheral nerve injury has become an increasingly prevalent clinical concern, causing great morbidity in the community. Although there have been significant advancements in the treatment of peripheral nerve damage in recent years, the issue of long-term nerve regeneration remains. Furthermore, Wallerian degeneration has created an obstacle to long-term nerve regeneration. For this reason, there has been extensive research on the use of exogenous and endogenous stem cells as an adjunct or even primary treatment option for peripheral nerve injury. The plasticity and inducibility of stem cells make them an enticing option for initiating neuronal cell regrowth and optimal sensory and functional nerve regeneration. Peripheral nerve injury has a broad range of causative factors and etiologies. As such, unique stem cell-induced peripheral nerve treatments are being investigated to ameliorate the damage incited by all causes, including trauma, neuropathy, and systemic neurodegenerative diseases. This review is oriented to outline the potential role of stem cell therapies in peripheral nerve injury versus the current standards of care, compare the benefits and drawbacks of specific stem cell lines under investigation, and highlight the current models of stem cell therapy in the peripheral nervous system, with the ultimate goal of narrowing down and optimizing the role and scope of stem cell therapy in peripheral nerve injury. Exploring the spatiotemporal dynamics, spatial mismatch, and complex influencing mechanism of grain production and cropland productivity in the black soil region of northeast China (BSRNC) is essential for the synergistic protection and utilization of black soil cropland and sustainable grain production. The BSRNC has realized cropland expansion and grain production increases in the past decades. This implied a substantial investment has been made in the region's agriculture. However, at present, knowledge on the spatial mismatch and influencing factors of grain production and cropland productivity is still unclear. This study analyzed the spatial–temporal mismatch characteristics of grain production and cropland net primary productivity (CNPP) using the gravity center model, spatial autocorrelation analysis, and spatial mismatch index (SMI), and identified the spatial heterogeneity and prediction–response relationships of influencing factors based on a geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR) model and boosted regression tree (BRT) machine learning algorithm. The findings indicated that grain production and CNPP have been increasing, but the overall spatial pattern of cold hotspots has not changed obviously in the BSRNC from 2000 to 2020. The SMI has shown a decreasing trend, indicating that the synergistic development of grain production and CNPP has been obvious, which plays an important role in sustainable food supply capacity. Agricultural production and the natural environment have always been critical factors influencing the spatial mismatch. Specifically, the marginal impact of fertilizer application has undergone a shift. A highly sensitive sensor, which can detect the temperature and strain simultaneously, is proposed using a hollow-core anti-resonant fiber with composite nested tubes. The sensing fiber contains two kinds of nested tubes, and two different sensing mechanisms, the resonance coupling effect and the intermodal interference, are realized in the same section of a hollow-core anti-resonant fiber fully filled with ethanol. Five conjoined nested anti-resonant tubes are introduced to suppress the confinement loss of the higher-order mode LP02. One hybrid conjoined nested tube, which consists of a half-circular anti-resonant tube and a half-circular resonant tube, is introduced to induce a resonant coupling between the LP02 mode in the core and the dielectric mode in the nested resonant tubes. Numerical investigations demonstrate the shifts of the feature wavelengths of the resonance coupling effect, and the intermodal interference shows different velocities with temperature and strain, while a simultaneous measurement of temperature and strain can be realized with high sensitivities (3.36 nm/°C and −0.003 nm/με to temperature and strain, respectively). Since the sensor can be fabricated by full infiltration with liquid into the large-size core and cladding tubes of hollow-core anti-resonant fibers, and special post-processing, such as selective infiltration or coating, is notneeded. The proposed sensors based on hollow-core anti-resonant fibers with functional liquid infiltration provide a more efficient and versatile platform for the temperature and strain sensing. Background: Caregivers experience high rates of occupational injuries, especially during wheelchair transfers, which often result in back pain and musculoskeletal disorders due to the physical demands of lifting and repositioning. While mechanical floor lifts, the current standard, reduce back strain, they are time-consuming and require handling techniques that subject caregivers to prolonged and repeated non-neutral trunk postures, increasing the risk of long-term back injuries. Aims: The aim was to assess the time efficiency and ergonomics of the powered personal transfer system (PPTS), a robotic transfer device designed for bed-to/from-wheelchair transfers. Methods: We evaluated transfers with the PPTS and mechanical lift with eight able-bodied participants who assisted with transfers between a bed and a wheelchair. Inertial measurement units (IMUs) were placed on participants to track their motion and assess trunk joint angles during transfers. Results: The PPTS significantly reduced the transfer time (144.31 s vs. 525.82 s, p < 0.001) and required significantly less range of motion for trunk flexion (p < 0.001), lateral bending (p = 0.008), and axial rotation (p = 0.001), all of which have been associated with back injuries. Additionally, the PPTS significantly reduced the time caregivers spent in non-neutral trunk postures, potentially lowering injury risks. Conclusions: These findings suggest that the PPTS improves transfer efficiency and caregiver safety, offering a promising alternative to the current standard of care for wheelchair-to/from-bed transfers. The rapid expansion of cropland in Cambodia, the world's seventh-largest rice exporter, has created an imbalance in land use structure. However, there is a lack of quantitative investigation of the loss of ecological land as a result of the expansion of cropland and its drivers. In this research, spatial autocorrelation, landscape pattern index and transfer matrix methods were used based on land use data from 2000 to 2023. Then, the eXtreme Gradient Boosting-SHapley Additive exPlanations (XGBoost-SHAP) and Geographic Detector were used to explore the drivers of cropland expansion. The findings indicate that the expanse of agricultural land in Cambodia has significantly increased by 13.47%. The proportion of cropland to the land area (37.87%) is close to that of forest (40.19%). Cultivated land is dominated by rice fields, supplemented by drylands. Spatial clustering is obvious in both drylands and rice fields. Drylands are mainly concentrated in the eastern and western mountainous areas and the northern border, while rice fields are concentrated in the central plains. Cultivated land encroached on a total of 30,579.27km2 of ecological land, of which 62.88% was dry land and 37.12% was rice fields. Forests and shrubs are the main source of expansion of cropland. In addition, soil type (0.18), elevation (0.17) and GDP (0.17), population (0.52) and their interactions strongly drove the expansion of dryland and rice fields. Cambodia should conduct scientific research to assess the demand for cropland by population growth and economic progress. Studying the response of runoff to climate change and land use/cover change has guiding significance for watershed land planning, water resource planning, and ecological environment protection. Especially in the Yellow River Basin, which has a variable climate and fragile ecology, such research is more important. This article takes the Huangfuchuan River Basin (HFCRB) in the middle reaches of the Yellow River as the research area, and analyzes the impact of climate change scenarios and land use/cover change scenarios on runoff by constructing a SWAT model. Using CMIP6 GCMs to obtain future climate data and the CA–Markov model to predict future land use data, the two are coupled to estimate the future runoff process in the HFCRB, and the uncertainty of the estimated runoff is decomposed and quantified. The results were as follows: ① The SWAT model has good adaptability in the HFCRB. During the calibrated period and the validation period, R2 ≥ 0.84, NSE ≥ 0.8, and |PBIAS| ≤ 17.5%, all of which meet the model evaluation criteria. ② There is a negative correlation between temperature and runoff, and a positive correlation between precipitation and runoff. Runoff is more sensitive to temperature rise and precipitation increase. ③ The impact of land use types on runoff is in the order of cultivated land > grassland > forest land. ④ The variation range of runoff under the combined effects of future climate change and LUCC is between that of single climate change or LUCC scenarios. The increase in runoff under SSP126, SSP245, and SSP585 scenarios is 10.57%, 25.55%, and 31.28%, respectively. Precipitation is the main factor affecting the future runoff changes in the HFCRB. Xinjiang is a representative dry area in China characterized by oasis agriculture. In recent decades, the amount of farmland has increased considerably. For the regional objectives of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", it is essential to investigate the carbon effects induced by large-scale changes in farmland. This research integrates the PLUS and InVEST models to calculate the carbon effects resulting from the spatiotemporal changes in farmland distribution in Xinjiang. It quantitatively assesses the changes in land-use patterns and carbon storage under four scenarios for 2035—natural development (ND), economic development (ED), ecological protection (EP), and farmland protection (FP)—and explores the spatial agglomeration degree of the carbon effect of cultivated land area change. The analysis reveals the following: (1) From 1990 to 2020, the farmland area in Xinjiang showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing, resulting in a total increase of 33,328.53 km2 over the 30-year period. The newly added farmland primarily came from grassland and unused land. (2) The terrestrial ecosystem carbon storage in Xinjiang showed a trend of decreasing first and then increasing, with an increase of 57.49 Tg in 30 years. The centroid of carbon storage was located in the northwestern part of the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, showing an overall southwestward shift. Changes in farmland area contributed to a regional carbon storage increase of 45.03 Tg. The contribution of farmland to carbon storage increased by 3.42%. (3) In 2035, the carbon storage value of different scenarios will increase compared with 2020, and the carbon sink of cultivated land will be the maximum under the cultivated land protection scenario. (4) There is a strong spatial positive correlation between the changes in carbon storage caused by the change in cultivated land area in Xinjiang, and there are more hot spots than cold spots. The carbon storage changes under farmland transformation have the characteristics of "high-high" clustering and "low-low" clustering. Future territorial spatial planning in Xinjiang should comprehensively coordinate ecological protection and farmland conservation measures, improve regional carbon sink capacity, and achieve green and sustainable development. The mixing of poplar and robinia in coastal saline land is a useful attempt at difficult site afforestation. Investigating the long–term mixing effects of nitrogen–fixing and non–nitrogen–fixing tree species on the spatial heterogeneity of N and P nutrients and their ecological stoichiometric characteristics in the coastal saline–alkali soil can provide a scientific basis for soil improvement and plantation management in the coastal saline–alkali soil. By replacing time with space, poplar and robinia mixed forests and corresponding pure forests with the ages of 3, 7 and 18 years were selected, and soil profiles of 0–20 cm, 20–40 cm and 40–60 cm were dug up to determine the contents of total nitrogen, hydrolyzed nitrogen, total phosphorus and available phosphorus, the activities of soil urease and phosphatase and the number of soil bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes in rhizosphere soil. The mixture of poplar and robinia and the increase in planting years led to the heterogeneity of soil N and P in a coastal saline–alkali forest, which could significantly increase the contents of soil total nitrogen, hydrolyzed nitrogen, total phosphorus and available phosphorus between soil layers. Compared with the pure forest of poplar and robinia at the same age, the soil urease activity in the 0–20 cm soil layer of an 18a poplar and robinia mixed forest increased by 94.75% and 73.36%, and the soil phosphatase activity increased by 30.36% and 70.27%. The mix of poplar and robinia significantly increased the abundance of soil microorganisms in saline–alkali soil. The number of bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes in the 0–20 cm soil layer of the 18a poplar and robinia mixed forest was the highest, which were 703,200, 31,297 and 1903, respectively. Redundancy analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between soil N and P nutrient contents, soil enzyme activities and microbial abundance. The soil depth of N and P nutrient decomposition and transformation in the mixed poplar and robinia plantation was expanded. The soil N and P nutrient contents, enzyme activities and microbial abundance in the 40–60 cm soil layer of the mixed forest were higher than those of the pure forest. With the increase in plantation years, the depth of soil that can be used in the forest land is increasing. The mixture of poplar and robinia plantation is an excellent choice for the construction of coastal saline–alkali land plantation, which has a significant mixed gain for the decomposition and transformation of N and P nutrients and increases the depth of the available soil layer in the forest land in coastal saline–alkali land. However, the coastal saline–alkali land soil N/P is < 14 and is still restricted by nitrogen, so the application of nitrogen fertilizer can be increased during the afforestation process. The visual authentication of high-value truffles (Tuber magnatum and Tuber melanosporum) is challenging, as they share similar morphological characteristics with other truffle species that have a lower economic value. This similarity complicates accurate identification and increases the risk of substitution or mislabeling, which can affect both market prices and consumer trust. For this reason, the aim of this study was to apply a non-targeted lipidomic approach using ion mobility spectrometry-mass spectrometry to distinguish between white (T. magnatum, Tuber borchii, and Tuber oligospermum) and black truffle species (T. melanosprum, T. aestivum, T. aestivum var. uncinatum, T. brumale, and T. indicum) and to determine the different geographical origins of the two most valuable truffle species (T. melanosporum and T. magnatum). Among several hundred features, 37 and 57 lipids were identified as marker compounds to distinguish white and black truffle species using MS/MS spectra and collision cross section (CCS) values, respectively. Only a few marker compounds were necessary to recognize the differences between white and black truffles. In particular, ceramides, glycerolipids, and phospholipids proved to be particularly suitable for separating the species. In traffic scenes, pedestrian target detection faces significant issues of misdetection and omission due to factors such as crowd density and obstacle occlusion. To address these challenges and enhance detection accuracy, we propose an improved CCW-YOLO algorithm. The algorithm first introduces a lightweight convolutional layer using GhostConv and incorporates an enhanced C2f module to improve the network's detection performance. Additionally, it integrates the Coordinate Attention module to better capture key points of the targets. Next, the bounding box loss function CIoU loss at the output of YOLOv5 is replaced with WiseIoU loss to enhance adaptability to various detection scenarios, thereby further improving accuracy. Finally, we develop a pedestrian count detection system using PyQt5 to enhance human–computer interaction. Experimental results on the INRIA public dataset showed that our algorithm achieved a detection accuracy of 98.4%, representing a 10.1% improvement over the original YOLOv5s algorithm. This advancement significantly enhances the detection of small objects in images and effectively addresses misdetection and omission issues in complex environments. Senegalese cities have experienced rapid urbanisation, leading to profound landscape changes. Dakar, one of Senegalese's fastest-growing cities, is experiencing rapid urban expansion, significantly reducing green spaces. These green spaces, essential for urban sustainability and resilience, have become increasingly scarce, affecting the city's environment and the quality of life for its residents. This study aims to assess the spatiotemporal changes in Dakar's green spaces from 1990 to 2022. Using satellite imagery, this study produces land use maps to quantify green space coverage over the years. The results show a gradual decline in green spaces in Dakar between 1990 and 2022. In 1990, green spaces covered an estimated 13.36% of Dakar's area, which decreased significantly to 9.54% by 2022. In contrast, other land uses, such as built-up areas, increased significantly over this period, rising from 19.23% in 1990 to 39.34% in 2022. Moreover, built-up areas are not the sole contributor to the reduction of green spaces in Dakar. The study revealed that, between 1990 and 2022, 5.49% of green spaces were converted into bare soil due to excessive tree cutting. This pattern highlights the growing challenge of green space availability as built-up areas expand rapidly, particularly when growth is unplanned. The development of geographic information systems has grown significantly over the past decade. Simultaneously, the concept of smart cities based on the management of large volumes of data has also spread worldwide. The digital twin concept has recently been incorporated into the technological domain of urban management. However, currently, phases such as technological integration, standardization, data and process interconnection, the development of tools and utilities, professional training, and the application of digital urban development in real-world situations are converging. This paper presents the experience developed on a university campus, detailing each of the phases carried out from the initial design to a fully operational pilot phase model. The article highlights the importance of certain aspects to consider in each phase, demonstrating that there are barriers and limitations and at the same time, great strengths and opportunities in applying the digital twin model in urban management, considering aspects such as mobility, accessibility, energy management, and involving students and university administrators in the process. Over the past few years, significant progress has been made in DNA origami technology due to the unrivaled self-assembly properties of DNA molecules. As a highly programmable, addressable, and biocompatible nanomaterial, DNA origami has found widespread applications in biomedicine, such as cell scaffold construction, antimicrobial drug delivery, and supramolecular enzyme assembly. To expand the scope of DNA origami application scenarios, researchers have developed DNA origami structures capable of actively identifying and quantitatively reporting targets. Optical DNA origami biosensors are promising due to their fast-to-use, sensitive, and easy implementation. However, the conversion of DNA origami to optical biosensors is still in its infancy stage, and related strategies have not been systematically summarized, increasing the difficulty of guiding subsequent researchers. Therefore, this review focuses on the universal strategies that endow DNA origami with dynamic responsiveness from both de novo design and current DNA origami modification. Various applications of DNA origami biosensors are also discussed. Additionally, we highlight the advantages of DNA origami biosensors, which offer a single-molecule resolution and high signal-to-noise ratio as an alternative to traditional analytical techniques. The ability to manufacture complex 3D structures with nanometer-scale resolution, such as Fresnel Zone Plates (FZPs), is crucial to achieve state-of-the-art control in X-ray sources for use in a diverse range of cutting-edge applications. This study demonstrates a novel approach combining Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) and cryoetching to produce silicon-based FZP prototypes as a test bench to assess the strong points and limitations of this fabrication method. Through this method, we obtained FZPs with 100 zones, a diameter of 20 µm, and an outermost zone width of 50 nm, resulting in a high aspect ratio that is suitable for use across a range of photon energies. The process incorporates a chromium mask in the EBL stage, enhancing microstructure precision and mitigating pattern collapse challenges. This minimized issues of under- and over-etching, producing well-defined patterns with a nanometer-scale resolution and low roughness. The refined process thus holds promise for achieving improved optical resolution and efficiency in FZPs, making it viable for the fabrication of high-performance, nanometer-scale devices. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), characterized by myocardial hypertrophy and an increased risk of sudden cardiac death, poses a significant health burden worldwide. Recent studies have revealed the involvement of exosome-derived microRNAs (miRNAs) in the pathogenesis of HCM, shedding light on novel regulatory mechanisms in cardiac remodeling and dysfunction. This literature review synthesizes current evidence on the role of exosome-derived miRNAs in HCM. It discusses key miRNAs identified from diverse cellular origins, including cardiomyocytes, stem cells, and conduction cells, elucidating their contributions to hypertrophic signaling pathways, fibrosis, and changes in cellular metabolism. Notable miRNAs highly expressed in exosomes such as miR-1, miR-133, and miR-208 are highlighted for their implications in HCM pathophysiology. Moreover, this review explores the diagnostic and therapeutic potential of exosome-derived miRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutic targets in HCM management. The studies summarized in this review demonstrate that exosome-derived miRNAs play a crucial role in orchestrating the molecular events underlying HCM, offering new insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic avenues. Understanding the intricate interplay between exosome-mediated miRNA communication and HCM pathophysiology holds promise for the development of personalized diagnostic tools and targeted therapies to improve patient outcomes in HCM. Comprehensive land prices for expropriation zones can effectively alleviate many conflicts in China's land expropriation practices. This contributes to achieving sustainable development goals such as "SDG-10: Reduced Inequalities" and " SDG-11: Sustainable Cities and Communities". The reasonable delineation of expropriation zones and scientific calculation of zone prices have become crucial. This study used the Cangzhou urban area in Hebei Province, China, as a case study. By integrating the CA–Markov model, multiple linear regression model, coupling coordination degree model, relative development degree model, and GIS spatial analysis techniques, the study deeply analyzed the spatiotemporal coupling relationship between land use and comprehensive land prices for expropriation zones from 2009 to 2021. Furthermore, it simulated and forecasted the changes in land use, expropriation zones, and zone prices in 2027. The study yielded the following conclusions: (1) The changes in land use reflected land economic value, land resource condition and land location condition shifts, which formed an interactive feedback mechanism with the comprehensive land price for land expropriation zones. (2) Land use impacted zone distribution through the spatial distribution characteristics of construction land, with recent development zones in the central urban area primarily extending east and southeast due to planning and policies related to land use for construction. (3) The coupling coordination and relative developmental degree between land use degree and zone price gradually develop in a good direction. A linear relationship is observed among land economic value, land resource condition, and land location condition concerning the zone price. Based on this, the predicted adjustment ranges for zone prices from high to low in 2027 will be 2.6400 to 2.7210, 2.1900 to 2.2537, and 1.8300 to 1.9306 million CNY/hectare. With the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, rural e-commerce has become an essential means of promoting rural economic development and increasing farmers' income. However, the development of rural e-commerce varies significantly among different regions. Based on the perspective of "three rural areas", this study constructs a rural e-commerce development capability measurement system centered on readiness, utilization, and influence. It adopts a panel vector autoregressive model to identify key influencing factors. Through the exploratory spatiotemporal data analysis (ESTDA) method, the spatiotemporal dynamic characteristics of rural e-commerce development capacity and the interaction relationship between provinces and regions are revealed. The study shows that (1) China's rural e-commerce development capacity gained significant improvement from 2011 to 2022, but provincial polarization is evident, with eastern and central provinces leading and western and marginal provinces lagging; the rural e-commerce development capacity shows a decreasing dynamic pattern from the east to the central and western to the northeastern regions. (2) The eastern region has active rural e-commerce development, stable spatial structure, and provincial solid correlation, which creates a significant linkage effect. The western region shows strong internal spatial dependence, the district cross-regional interaction and linkage effect are beginning to emerge, and the northeastern low-development provinces are challenging to leap to a higher level in the short term; (3) the spatiotemporal interaction network of rural e-commerce development among several provinces and regions shows a positive synergistic relationship, and it is an essential consideration for the high-quality development of rural e-commerce to strengthen regional cooperation and realize complementary advantages. The study results provide a theoretical basis for formulating differentiated regional e-commerce development policies, which can help enhance regional synergy and narrow the regional development gap.
