ÖZETBu tez çalışmasının amacı, tekstil terbiye sektöründe kullanılan tiyoüredioksit kimyasalının kasar prosesinde, aşındırma ve aşındırma pigment baskı işleminde kullanılabilirliğinin incelenmesidir.Bu incelemede hidrojen peroksit kasarı, Decrolin’li aşındırma patı ve Decrolin’li pigment aşındırma patı referans olarak alınmıştır. Materyal olarak; %100 pamuk, 95/5 pamuk/elastan karışımı ve renkli (pembe, kırmızı, kahve, lacivert, siyah) örgü kumaşlar seçilmiştir.Tiyoüredioksit miktarı değişken, sıcaklık sabit ve sıcaklık değişken tiyoüredioksit ile kostik miktarı sabit tutularak alternatif kasar reçeteleri oluşturulmuştur. Kostik miktarının artırılması ile beyazlık indeksi ve pH değeri artmış, kumaş yüzeyinde ise üniform bir görüntü elde edilmiştir. Referans olarak alınan hidrojen peroksit ile kasar reçetesine en yakın reçeteye, 80oC’de, 5g/L tiyoüredioksit, 5g/L kostik ile ulaşılmıştır. Bu reçetedeki pH değeri 11‘in üzerindedir. Yapılan testlerin sonuçları spektrofotometrede ölçüm yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir.Aşındırma baskı testleri için farklı konsantrasyonlarda (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 ve 90g/kg) tiyoüredioksit içeren aşındırma patı hazırlanarak renkli kumaşlar üzerine baskı yapılmıştır. Referans alınan 50g/kg Decrolin içeren aşındırma patına en yakın sonuç, 20g/kg konsantrasyonundaki tiyoüredioksit içeren aşındırma patı ile elde edilmiştir.Hazırlanan tiyoüredioksit içeren patlar pigment boyarmadde ile renklendirilerek materyaller üzerine baskı yapılmıştır. Elde edilen baskılı materyallere yıkama ve kuru sürtünme haslığı testleri uygulanmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmede; yıkama haslığı test sonuçları 4-4/5 iken, kuru sürtme test sonuçları standardın altında 2/3-3 olarak belirlenmiştir. ABSTRACTUSAGE OF THİOUREADİOXİDE IN TEXTILE FINISHINGThe aim of this thesis study is analyzing utility of thioureadioxide in bleaching, discharge and discharge printing processes, which is used in textile finishing sector. In this research hydrogen peroxide bleaching, discharge paste with Decrolin and pigment discharge paste with Decrolin were taken as referance.%100 cotton, %95/5 cotton/ elastan blend and coloured (pink, red, brown, dark blue, black) knit fabrics were used as material samples.While thioureadioxide rates are changeable, temperature is stable and thioureadioxide, caustic quantity are stable, temperature is changeable, alternative bleaching prescriptions are composed. By increasing amount of caustic, whiteness index and pH valve were higher and uniform appearance was obtained on fabric surface. The closest results to referance hydrogen peroxide bleaching prescription was obtained with the prescription inclyding 5g/l thioureadioxide, 5g/l caustic at 80oC above pH 11. The results were evaluated using Berger spectrophotometer.For discharge printing tests, bandolier was made on dyed fabrics, preparing discharge paste with thioureadioxide in different concent rations (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 g/kg). The closest results to referance discharge paste which is included 50 g/kg Decrolin, were obtained by discharge paste with 20 g/kg thioureadioxide concentrations. Thioureadioxide including pastes were coloured with pigment dyes and bandolier was been prepared on materials. Washing and dry rubbing fastness tests were made on printed materials. According to the results washing fastness was 4-5 and dry rubbing fastness was 2/3-3, which is under standard value.

ÖZETANGORA ELYAFIN ve KARIŞIMLARININ BOYANMASIBu deneysel çalışmada, açık elyaf formundaki %100 angora ve iplik formundaki %65/25/10 angora/yün/poliamid karışım materyaller, çektirme yöntemine göre tek banyoda, asit ve 1:2 metal kompleks boyarmaddelerle boyanmıştır. İplik formundaki %50/30/20 angora/pamuk/poliamid karışım materyal ise, çektirme metoduna göre iki banyolu boyama yöntemine göre sırasıyla asit ve reaktif boyarmaddelerle boyanmıştır. Buna ek olarak, boyamalarda kullanılan %100 angora elyafın haricinde, tavşanın çeşitli bölgelerinden alınmış (ön, sırt, sağ-sol yanlar) %100 angora elyaf numuneleri de, asit ve 1:2 metal kompleks boyarmaddelerle, çektirme yöntemine göre boyanmıştır. Her bir boyamanın iki kez tekrarlanabilirliği yapılarak işlemin doğruluğu kontrol edilmiştir. Boyamalarda kullanılan asit, 1:2 metal kompleks ve reaktif boyarmaddelerin, zamana karşı % çekim değerleri, boyama çözeltilerindeki boyarmadde miktarlarının UV-Görünür alan spektrofotometresi ile tespiti ve hesaplanma yoluyla araştırılmıştır.Boyanmamış ve boyanmış materyallerin renk ölçümleri, reflektans spektrofotometresinde yapılmıştır. Boyanmamış %100 angora elyafa tek lif incelik testi, boyanmamış ve boyanmış %100 angora elyaf, iplik formundaki %65/25/10 angora/yün/poliamid ve %50/30/20 angora/pamuk/poliamid karışım materyallere mukavemet testleri uygulanmıştır. Sunulan tez çalışması beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde çalışmanın amacı anlatılmaktadır.İkinci bölümde; angora ve angora karışımlarının içerdiği yün, poliamid ve pamuk materyallerinin genel özellikleri, karışım materyallerin boyanması ve asit, 1:2 metal kompleks, reaktif boyarmaddelerin özellikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; uygulamalarda kullanılan materyaller, boyarmaddeler, kimyasal maddeler, cihazlar, boyama yöntemleri, işlem şartları, boyama diyagramları ve standartlar verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde; boyanmamış ve boyanmış materyallere ait spektrofotometrik renk ölçüm değerleri, çekim özelliklerine ait sonuçlar, elyaf ve iplik test sonuçları ve haslık test sonuçları şekil ve tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Beşinci bölümde ise; tez çalışması sonucunda elde edilen veriler belirtilmiş, tartışılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. ABSTRACTDYEING OF ANGORA FIBRES AND ITS BLENDSIn this experimental study, the original 100 % angora fibres and 65/25/10 % angora/wool/polyamide blend yarns were dyed with the acid and 1:2 metal complex dyestuffs by the exhaustion method in one bath. 50/30/20 % angora/cotton/polyamide blend yarns were also dyed with the acid and reactive dyestuffs by the exhaustion method in two baths respectively. In addition, 100 % angora fibres which were obtained from the different parts of the rabbits (front, back and right-left side) were dyed by the acid and 1:2 metal complex dyestuffs by the exhaustion method in one bath in order to compare the dyeability of these fibres with each other. Each dyeing was carried out three times to control the repeatability of the dyeings. The % exhaustion values of the dyeings with the acid, 1:2 metal complex and reactive dyestuffs were investigated by the measurement of the dye contents in the dye baths using a UV-visible spectrophotometer and the necessary calculations. The colour measurements of the undyed and the dyed materials were carried out using a reflectance spectrophotometer. The single fibre fineness and strength tests for 100 % angora fibre and the breaking strength tests for the undyed and the dyed 65/25/10 % angora/wool/polyamide and 50/30/20 % angora/cotton/polyamide yarns were carried out. This study consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the aim of the study was explained. In the second chapter, the general properties of angora, wool, polyamide and cotton, the dyeing of blends and the general properties of acid, 1:2 metal complex and reactive dyestuffs were explained. In the third chapter, the materials, the dyestuffs, the chemicals, the equipment, the dyeing methods, the working conditions and the standards used in this work were given in detail. In the fourth chapter, the measured spectorophotometric values, the results from the dye uptake studies, the material strength values, the washing and the rubbing fatsnesses were given in tables and figures. In the fifth chapter, the results obtained from the study were explained and discussed.

ÖZETBAMBU-PAMUK ELYAF KARIŞIMLI İPLİKLERİN ÇEŞİTLİ ÖZELLİKLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ Bambu bitkisinden elde edilen rejenere selülozik elyaf olan bambu elyafı yeni bir elyaf çeşididir. Yeni bir elyaf olmasından dolayı iplik özellikleri ve kumaş özellikleri detaylı olarak bilinmemektedir. Bu çalışmada bu özellikler tespit edilmiştir.Çalışmanın birinci aşamasında farklı karışım oranlarında ve farklı numaralarda bambu/pamuk elyaf karışımlı iplikler üretilmiştir ve elde edilen ipliklerin kalite değerleri bulunarak karışım oranlarının iplik parametrelerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bunun sonucunda karışımlardan % 100 bambu elyafından üretilen ipliklerin en iyi kalite değerlerine sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bambu/pamuk elyaf karışımlı ipliklerde karışımdaki bambu oranı azaldıkça kalite değerlerinde düşüş olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca karışım oranları ve iplik numaraları arasındaki ilişki MINITAB 13.2 istatistik yazılım programında iki yönlü varyans analizi yapılarak incelenmiştir.İkinci aşamada ise üretilen ipliklerle örme yüzeyi oluşturulmuştur. Örme yüzeye yapılan pilling ve sürtünme testleri ile de iplik özelliklerinin örme kumaş yüzeyine nasıl yansıdığı araştırılmıştır. Sürtünme testi sonuçlarına göre, en yüksek mukavemete sahip kumaşın % 100 bambu iplikten örülen kumaş olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Pilling testi sonuçlarına göre ise; en iyi pilling değerlerine sahip kumaşın % 50 bambu % 50 penye pamuk iplikten örülen kumaş olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. ABSTRACTEXAMINATION OF THE VARIOUS PROPERTIES OF BAMBOO-COTTON FIBRE BLENDED YARNSBamboo fibre is a new fibre, which is regenerated cellulose, produced from bamboo plant. As it is a new fibre, the properties of yarn and fabric are hardly known. In this study, these properties have been identified.In the first part of the study, yarns of different blends and various yarn counts were produced and their quality parameters were obtained, the effects of the yarn parameters were investigated. As a result, it was found that yarns produced from 100 % bamboo have the best quality values. As the amount of bamboo decreased in the yarns, so did quality values. Moreover, the relationship between the blending rates and yarn counts were studied on MINITAB 13.2 statistics software program by using two-way analysis of variance.In the second part, knitting samples were produced from these yarns. Through pilling and abbrasion tests applied on the knitted fabrics, it has been examined how the characteristics of the yarn quality is reflected to the samples. Following the abbrasion tests, it was found that the material with the best resistance is the one knitted from bamboo fibers. Likewise, according to the results of the pilling test, it was found that the material with the best pilling values is the knitted fabric from 50 % bamboo and 50 % combed cotton yarn.

ÖZETDARBE ALTINDAKİ ELYAF TAKVİYELİ KOMPOZİT TÜPÜN SONLU ELEMANLAR MODELLEMESİ İLE İNCELENMESİBu çalışmada çok yüksek iç basınç altındaki, kompozit tüpün üzerine darbe tesirli bir parçacığın etki etmesi esnasında kompozit ve Alüminyum katmanlar da oluşan gerilme ve şekil değiştirme davranışı simülasyon yoluyla araştırılmıştır. Simülasyonlarda tüpün 3-D modeli paket program kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. İncelenen tüp Al mandrel üzerine çevresel FRP sargılardan oluşmuştur. Simülasyon aracı olarak Marc-Mentat paket programı kullanılmıştır. Tüpün geometrisi Mentat ara yüz yazılımıyla oluşturulmuş ve sınır şartları belirlenmiştir. Alüminyum ve karbon kompozitin malzeme özellikleri sırasıyla isotropik ve dik anizotropik malzemeler olarak ayrı ayrı simülasyona dâhil edilmiştir. Gerçek tüplerde bulunan baş bombeleri simulasyona dâhil edilmemiştir. İmpaktörün tüp yüzeyine temasından hasar oluşturduğu maksimum derinliğe kadar olan hareket basamaklara bölünerek incelenmiştir.Simülasyonda incelenen tüpe ait deneysel veriler dikkate alınarak simülasyonun genel modellenmesi yapılmıştır. Simülasyon sonuçları, impaktör altında kalan bazı hasara uğramış kısımların kompozit tüplerde yoğun olarak bilinenin aksine çekme kuvvetlerinden farklı olarak basma kuvvetlerinden de etkilendiğini göstermektedir. ABSTRACTFEM INVESTIGATION OF THE FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE PRESSURE VESSEL UNDER IMPACT LOADINGIn this study, the mechanical behavior of FRP composite vessel with very high internal pressure and subjected to impact loading has been investigated by simulation. A 3-D model has been created using a commercial code. Investigated vessel consists of an Aluminum liner with carbon fiber layer wound on it. Marc-Mentat commercial code has been selected as a computational tool. The geometry of the vessel has been generated using Mentat pre-post interface software. The material properties of the Aluminum liner and carbon material layers have been included in the simulations as an isotropic and orthographic, respectively. The dome region of the vessel has not been included in the simulations. The maximum displacement of the composite part which was just under impactor has been divided into several steps during the simulations to check the progress of the impactor damage.The model of the simulation has been created by considering the real experiment which has been conducted by other researcher. The results of the simulations show that some zones under the impactor damage would face compressions stresses rather that tensional deformation, which is generally believed.

ÖZETEL YATIRMA YÖNTEMİ İLE ELYAF TAKVİYELİ KOMPOZİT YAPILARIN ÜRETİLMESİ VE ÖZELLİKLERİEl yatırma yöntemi ile elyaf takviyeli kompozit yapıların üretilmesinde genellikle keçe ve dokuma yapıdaki lifler takviye elemanı olarak seçilirken dayanımı ve elastikliğin arttırılması için cam ve karbon elyafından yapılmış çok eksenli kumaşların kullanıldığı bilinmektedir. Kompozit malzemelerin en basit uygulama yöntemlerinden olan el yatırma metodunda, bu amaçla yukarıda bahsedilen ve bilinen bu uygulamaların yerine bambu ve keten elyafı ve fitil şeridi kullanılarak doğal kökenli liflerde el yatırma yöntemi ile kompozit üretilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada 1.5 dtex/38 mm uzunluğunda bambu elyafı, Nm 0.93 bambu fitili ve ağartılmamış % 100 keten elyafı kullanılarak vinilester reçine ile farklı takviye yüzdelerinde çeşitli kompozit yapılar üretilmiştir. Üretilen doğal kökenli kompozit yapıların izod darbe dayanımı, çekme dayanımı ve üç nokta eğilme testleri yapılarak kırık yüzey analizleri elektron mikroskobunda incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre bambu elyaf takviyeli kompozitlerde 3mm ve üstü uzunluklarda lif kullanımının mekanik özellikleri arttırdığı görülmüştür. Keten elyaf takviyeli numunelerde ise bambu elyafına göre daha iyi mekanik değerler elde edilmiştir. Keten elyafında yağ ve vaks tabakası uzaklaştırıldığında, işlem görmemiş elyafa göre daha iyi bir matris lif kaynaşmasının meydana geldiği görülmüş ve darbe dayanımında % 50’ye varan artışlar gözlemlenmiştir. ABSTRACTPRODUCTION OF FIBRE REINFORCED COMPOSITE STRUCTURES AND THEIR PROPERTIES BY THE HAND LAY-UP METHODGenerally felt and woven fabrics are selected as a reinforcement component of fibre reinforced composite structures which are produced with hand lay-up method. It is known that multiaxial fabrics consist of glass and carbon fibres are used to increase the mechanical properties. In this study, instead of glass and carbon fibres mentioned above, the composite structures with hand lay-up method by using natural fibers of flax bamboo and bamboo sliver were produced. At this study the composite structures with vinylester resin and bamboo fibres with 1.5dtex/38 mm staple length, Nm 0.93 bamboo sliver and 100 % unbleached flax fibres at different reinforcement ratios had been produced. After producing, the natural fiber reinforced composites three point bending, tensile strength and izod impact strength tests were carried out and fracture surfaces of the samples had been inspected on the scanning electron microscope. According to the results, it has been evaluated that bamboo fibres with 3 mm fibre length and above increases the mechanical properties of composite structures. The increament of the mechanical properties of the reinforced samples with flax fibres have shown considerably higher properties than bamboo reinforced fibres. Better combination has observed between resin and fibres of the samples which had been produced with flax fibres that are purified from wax and grease. Also approximately 50 % increament has been reached on the izod impact strength of these samples.
