The spider family Pholcidae C.L. Koch, 1850 exhibits high diversity at generic level and currently contains 94 genera. In this study, one new genus Tangguoa Yao & Li gen. nov. from southern China is described with the type species T. laibin Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female; Guangxi) and one additional species T. tongguling Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female; Hainan).

The genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 is reported from Pakistan for the first time. Two new species of the Pholcus nenjukovi species-group are described: Pholcus hamuchal Yao & Li sp. nov. (Gilgit Baltistan, male and female) and Pholcus kalam Yao & Li sp. nov. (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, male and female). Type material is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing, China.

The genus Belisana Thorell, 1898 is diverse in southern China. In this study, six new species are described and illustrated: Belisana guilin sp. nov. (Guangxi; male, female), Belisana maoer sp. nov. (Sichuan; male, female), Belisana naling sp. nov. (Guangxi; male, female), Belisana xiyuan sp. nov. (Fujian; male, female), Belisana xuanguan sp. nov. (Guangxi; male) and Belisana yuexiu sp. nov. (Guangdong; male). In addition, Belisana is reported from Sichuan for the first time.

Two new species of the spider genus Wanniyala Huber & Benjamin, 2005 are described from Sri Lanka: W. badulla sp. nov. (Uva Province; male and female) and W. batatota sp. nov. (Sabaragamuwa Province; male and female). In addition, new records of W. mudita Huber, 2019 (Western Province; male) and W. viharekele Huber, 2019 (Southern Province; male and female) are provided.

The genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 is composed of 21 species-groups and the P. yichengicus species-group contains 35 species from central and southern China, and Thailand. In this study, two new species of the P. yichengicus species-group are described from southern China: Pholcus jingnan Yao & Li sp. nov. (Guizhou, male and female) and Pholcus longlin Yao & Li sp. nov. (Guangxi, male and female).

Three new species of the spider genus Belisana Thorell, 1898 are described based on material collected in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China: Belisana mengla Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female), Belisana menglun Yao & Li sp. nov. (male), and Belisana mengyang Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female), bringing the total Belisana fauna of Xishuangbanna to 12 species.

Only nine species of the spider family Pholcidae C.L. Koch, 1850 are endemic in Kenya. In this study, three new species from Taita-Taveta County, southern Kenya are reported. They belong to two genera of the pholcid spiders: Buitinga qingyuani Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female), B. wamitii Yao & Li sp. nov. (male), and Smeringopus voi Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female). All material studied is deposited in the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Two new species of the spider genus Belisana Thorell, 1898 are described based on material collected in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China: Belisana menghai Yao & Li sp. nov. (male, female) and Belisana xishuangbanna Yao & Li sp. nov. (male), bringing the total Chinese Belisana fauna to 41 species. The DNA barcode COI of B. menghai Yao & Li sp. nov. is documented. All material studied is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing, China.

Five new species of the genus Khorata Huber, 2005 are reported from Vietnam: Khorata bachma Yao & Li sp. nov. (Thua Thien-Hue), K. cucphuong Yao & Li sp. nov. (Ninh Binh), K. vinhphuc Yao & Li sp. nov. (Vinh Phuc), K. palace Yao & Li sp. nov. (Ninh Binh) and K. quangbinh Yao & Li sp. nov. (Quang Binh). Type material is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing, China.

Five new species from four species-groups of the genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 are described from China and Thailand: P. sakaew Yao & Li sp. nov. (Thailand) from the P. bidentatus species-group; P. umphang Yao & Li sp. nov. (Thailand) from the P. halabala species-group; P. ningan Yao & Li sp. nov. (China) from the P. phungiformes species-group; and P. yongshun Yao & Li sp. nov. (China) and P. yuxi Yao & Li sp. nov. (China), both from the P. yichengicus species-group.

The Southeast Asian pholcids Belisana tauricornis Thorell, 1898, Pholcus gracillimus Thorell, 1890, P. quinquenotatus Thorell, 1878 and Spermophora thorelli Roewer, 1942 are redescribed on the basis of the type material.

Fifteen new species from six species groups of the genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 are described from Southeast Asia: Pholcus hinsonensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) and P. tharnlodensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) from the P. bidentatus species group; P. kottawagamaensis sp. nov. (male & female, Sri Lanka) from the P. ethagala species group; P. cenranaensis sp. nov. (male & female, Indonesia) and P. krachensis sp. nov. (male, Thailand) from the P. gracillimus species group; P. anaiensis sp. nov. (male, Indonesia), P. ballarini sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand), P. gou sp. nov. (male & female, Myanmar), P. wan sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) and P. zhuchuandiani sp. nov. (male & female, Indonesia) from the P. halabala species group; P. chiangmaiensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) and P. taptaoensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) from the P. quinquenotatus species group; P. kaebyaiensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand), P. musensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) and P. songkhonensis sp. nov. (male & female, Thailand) from the P. yichengicus species group.

Five genera and 26 species belonging to two subfamilies Arteminae Simon, 1893 (one genus and one species) and Pholcinae C.L. Koch, 1850 (four genera and 25 species) are reported from northern Vietnam, including 19 new species of three genera: Belisana babensis sp. nov. (male, female; Bac Kan), B. cheni sp. nov. (male, female; Bac Kan), B. clavata sp. nov. (male; Ha Giang), B. curva sp. nov. (male; Vinh Phuc), B. decora sp. nov. (male, female; Ninh Binh), B. halongensis sp. nov. (male; Quang Ninh), B. phungae sp. nov. (male, female; Bac Kan), B. pisinna sp. nov. (male; Quang Ninh), B. triangula sp. nov. (male; Phu Tho), B. vietnamensis sp. nov. (male, female; Ninh Binh), B. zhengi sp. nov. (male; Vinh Phuc), Khorata dangi sp. nov. (male; Bac Kan), K. huberi sp. nov. (male, female; Bac Kan), K. protumida sp. nov. (male, female; Quang Binh), Pholcus bifidus sp. nov. (male, female; Quang Binh), P. caecus sp. nov. (male, female; Quang Binh), P. hochiminhi sp. nov. (male, female; Quang Ninh), P. phami sp. nov. (male, female; Bac Kan), and P. zhaoi sp. nov. (male; Ninh Binh). One genus Khorata Huber, 2005 and five species Belisana schwendingeri Huber, 2005, B. sepaku Huber, 2005, Khorata digitata Yao & Li, 2010, Leptopholcus podophthalmus (Simon, 1893), and Pholcus bangfai Huber, 2011 are reported from Vietnam for the first time. Additional new records are given for two species Leptopholcus huongson Huber, 2011 and Physocyclus globosus (Taczanowski, 1874).

Four new species belonging to four genera of the subfamily Pholcinae are reported from Southeast Asia: Belisana protumida spec. nov. (male, female), Khorata bayeri spec. nov. (male), Pholcus schawalleri spec. nov. (male), and Uthina khaosokensis spec. nov. (male).

Fourteen new species belonging to five pholcid genera are reported from Laos: Belisana champasakensis sp. nov. (male), B. crystallina sp. nov. (male and female), B. gigantea sp. nov. (male and female), B. khanensis sp. nov. (male and female), B. lancea sp. nov. (male), B. martensi sp. nov. (male), B. tadetuensis sp. nov. (male), B. xiangensis sp. nov. (male and female), Calapnita longa sp. nov. (male), Khorata circularis sp. nov. (male and female), K. dupla sp. nov. (male and female), Pholcus arcuatilis sp. nov. (female), P. sublaksao sp. nov. (male and female) and Spermophorafalcata sp. nov. (male and female). The genera Belisana and Spermophora are reported from Laos for the first time.

The spider genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 is highly diverse in China. In this study we describe 35 new species: Pholcus abstrusus sp. nov., P. aduncus sp. nov., P. agilis sp. nov., P. alpinus sp. nov., P. bailongensis sp. nov., P. bantouensis sp. nov., P. bing sp. nov., P. brevis sp. nov., P. chang sp. nov., P. cuneatus sp. nov., P. decorus sp. nov., P. dieban sp. nov., P. ganziensis sp. nov., P. huapingensis sp. nov., P. imbricatus sp. nov., P. jiaotu sp. nov., P. kui sp. nov., P. lijiangensis sp. nov., P. liui sp. nov., P. liutu sp. nov., P. mao sp. nov., P. mirabilis sp. nov., P. obscurus sp. nov., P. ovatus sp. nov., P. shuangtu sp. nov., P. tongi sp. nov., P. tuoyuan sp. nov., P. tuyan sp. nov., P. undatus sp. nov., P. wangi sp. nov., P. xiaotu sp. nov., P. yi sp. nov., P. yuantu sp. nov., P. yunnanensis sp. nov. and P. zhui sp. nov. In addition, we provide new illustrations for 45 known species.

Eighteen species of the genus Khorata Huber, including 16 new species, are reported from Guangxi, China: Khorata digitata sp. nov., K. dongkou sp. nov., K. epunctata sp. nov., K. flabelliformis sp. nov., K. fusui Zhang & Zhu, 2009, K. guiensis sp. nov., K. liuzhouensis sp. nov., K. luojinensis sp. nov., K. macilenta sp. nov., K. miaoshanensis sp. nov., K. nanningensis sp. nov., K. ningming Zhang & Zhu, 2009, K. paquini sp. nov., K. robertmurphyi sp. nov., K. rongshuiensis sp. nov., K. shao sp. nov., K. triangula sp. nov. and K. wangae sp. nov.
