The leafhopper genus Homa Distant is revised. Four new species, H. osificata Xu, Dietrich & Qin sp. nov., H. oretinia Xu, Dietrich & Qin sp. nov., H. asilata Xu, Dietrich & Qin sp. nov., and H. algulata Xu, Dietrich & Qin sp. nov., are described from Thailand. H. haematoptilus (Kirkaldy) is redescribed based on specimens from the Oriental Region. All included species are illustrated and a key is provided to separate species for which males are known.

Rovnoxestus rasnitsyni gen. & sp. nov. is described from Eocene Rovno amber based on an adult female and fifth-instar nymph collected at a recently discovered locality at Perebrody, Rovno Province, Ukraine. The new fossil taxon is tentatively placed in Aphrodinae and resembles Xestocephalites Dietrich & Gonçalves from Eocene Baltic amber but has the hind femur macrosetal formula 2+2+1 and hind tarsomere I in both nymph and adult with an elongated inner preapical seta. This is the first species of Eocene leafhopper for which both the adult and nymph are described in detail.

Generic characteristics of the leafhopper genus Kusala Dworakowska are revised, and a new subgenus Scodela is established. A species checklist of the Kusala is provided and three new species are added: Kusala ( Kusala ) viraktamathi , K . ( Scodela ) directa and K . ( S .) sinuata spp. nov.. The related genus Diomma Motschulsky is also redescribed and a new species is described: Diomma ( Diomma ) sangzhiensis sp. nov..

A new species Erasmoneura tricuspidata sp.n. and a new morphological variant of Erythridula stolata McAtee are described from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The North American leafhopper genus Erasmoneura Young was described as a subgenus of Erythroneura Fitch by Young (1952) to comprise the informal Erythroneura vulnerata Fitch species group previously recognized by Beamer (1938, 1946). Erasmoneura was recently elevated to generic status (Dietrich & Dmitriev, 2006) and revised (Dmitriev & Dietrich, 2007). In this paper, the male of Erasmoneura bipentagona (Beamer), previously known only from the female holotype and placed in the genus based on external similarity and features of wing venation (Young, 1952; Dietrich & Dmitriev, 2006; Dmitriev & Dietrich, 2007, see also the note for the species below), and a new species are described. A key for identification of all 13 species of the genus is provided. The key is based mainly on male genitalia characters. Although individual species have a characteristic color pattern, details and intensity may be highly variable both interand intraspecifically. Morphological terminology follows Dietrich & Dmitriev (2006). Specimens examined are housed in the following collections: Canadian National Collection, Ottawa (CNC); University of Kansas, Lawrence (KSEM); Illinois Natural History Survey, Champaign (INHS).

New replacement names are proposed for 5 genera, 1 subgenus, and 1 species of the tribe Erythroneurini. One homonymous genus name is replaced by its junior synonym. The following changes are proposed: genera Neolokia nom. nov. for Lokia Thapa (not Ris), Makia nom. nov. for Makilingana Mahmood (not Miller), Hepneriana Dworakowska for Mandera Ahmed (not Fauvel), Theroniana nom. nov. for Sandia Theron (not Clench & Ehrlich), Damaniana nom. nov. for Damania Thapa (not Smith), Thapaia nom. nov. for Masaakia Thapa (not Takeuchi), subgenus Ratburella (Buraria) nom. nov. for Ratburella (Burara) Dworakowska (not Swinhoe), species Erythroneura (Eratoneura) hepneri nom. nov. for E. (E.) spatulata Ross (not Beamer).
