The article presents a study which describes the partner notification experiences and outcomes among men and women diagnosed with Chlamydia and their views on innovative resources to improve notification rates. It says that the study conducted a telephone survey of men and women diagnosed with Chlamydia in 3 Australian jurisdictions between August 2007 and January 2008. Results indicate that the availability of tailored resources can assist patients with Chlamydia in their personal notification.

The article presents a study which explores the resources that could better partner notification for chlamydia in primary care. It centers on 234 general practitioners (GP) across Australia. The study found that 95% of GP notes that it is their obligation to discuss partner notification with patients however, only 45% were certain on how they are going to assist their patient. It concludes that GPs seek wide resources to assist them with notifying patient for notification.
