The article discusses the results of a study on the effect of immunoglobulin (IL)-33 receptor ST2 on the prevalence of autoimmune heart disease. The study used animal models of pressure-volume relationships to examine whether the administration of ST2 affects the function of the heart. The results showed that IL-33 affects the cardiac function through its receptor ST2 and induces eosinophilic pericarditis. Soluble ST2 was effective in preventing eosinophilia.

The article presents a study on the contribution of monoamine oxidase A (MAOs), a mediated enhanced catabolism of norepinephrine, in the pathophysiological process of congestive heart failure in the U.S. The study intends to determine the role of MAO-A in the maladaptive therapy and heart failure. The findings reveal on the capability of enhanced MAO-A activity with increase intramyocardial norepinephrine to lead to the heart's left ventricular dysfunction.

The article reports on the role of tamofixen-mediated MerCreMer (MCM) nuclear translocation in severe transient dilated cardiomyopathy. Results of a clinical analysis show that cardiomyopathy is associated with reduced energy or metabolism and calcium-handling gene expression. The primary objective of the use of tamofixen-mediated MCM is to enhance gene expression.
