Abstract

The article discusses a research study on the use of Medtrionic CoreValue (MCV) system in transcatheter aortic valve implantation in high-risk patients with aortic valve bioprosthesis failure. Researchers considered 65-year-old and older patients with failing aortic valve bioprosthesis and recorded clinical events then performed a transthoracic echocardiography to evaluate MCV impact on hemodynamics. Conclusions indicated the feasibility and safety of MCV implantation in older patients.
