The article presents medical research into the effectiveness of the Better Bone Health self-management program for women patients with osteoporosis. Better Bone Health is a health education and health promotion program that emphasizes health behaviors toward the improvement of quality of life, pain perception, and equilibrium. A single-blind randomized controlled trial featured women with postmenopausal and idiopathic osteoporosis who were outpatients of the Uludag University Atatürk Balneotherapy and Rehabilitation Center in Bursa, Turkey.
