This research aims to determine research trends regarding archivists in Scopus-indexed journals. The research method used is bibliometric analysis, with data collection from the Scopus database, carried out on September 8, 2023, using the keyword "Archivist" from 2013 to 2022 and specifically for final publications with journal type. Data is processed and analyzed using Publish or Perish (PoP) and VOSviewer to display visualization results. The research results concluded that the number of publications regarding archivists in the last ten years was 1241 documents. American Archivist became the most dominant publication source by publishing 94 documents. Poole was the most prolific writer, and the United States was the most contributing country by publishing 439 documents. The document type in articles is the largest, with 1024. Social Science is the subject area most often discussed in archivist topics. The total number of publication citations regarding archivists is 4528. Publication trends based on the appearance of a minimum of ten keywords are divided into five clusters, with the most dominant keywords being "metadata treatment, archives, human, digitization, and librarians." The publication trend seen from the latest publication year discusses "artificial intelligence," which has 5 (five) related links: artificial intelligence-copyright, artificial intelligence-photography, artificial intelligence-automation, artificial intelligence-digitization, and artificial intelligence-metadata. This article presents a literature review on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in libraries and its impact on library operations. This paper explained the influence of technological readiness on adoption of artificial intelligence technology, using data collected through Google form from 52 librarians in Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design and adapted the Technological Readiness Index 2.0 to design structured questionnaire on level of technological readiness among librarians in Nigeria. In addition, data was collected on demographic factors and prevalent artificial intelligent technologies adopted by the librarians. Findings reveal that Google Assistant is the prevalent artificial intelligence technology adopted by the librarians in Nigeria. Also, the librarians agreed more on the motivating factors than inhibiting factors for level of librarians' technological readiness in Nigeria. However, findings from the study indicate that there is no significant relationship between technological readiness and adoption of artificial intelligence among librarians in Nigeria. Background: This study aims to analyze the work done in domain of cloud computing and edge computing using artificial intelligence from 2015 to 2021. Recent research shows the bibliometric methods are useful for such kind of analysis. Thus in this paper analysis is carried out using the bibliometric methods. Methods: different articles on edge computing and edge intelligence were retrieved using one of the most popular database-Scopus. The research articles are considered between 2015 to 2021. Scopus analyzer is used for getting some analysis results such as documents by year, source, country and so on. VOSviewer Version 1.6.16 is used for the analysis of different units such as co-authorship, co-occurrences, citation analysis etc. Results: In our study, a database search outputs a total of 204 articles on edge intelligence from 2015 to 2021. Statistical analysis and network analysis shows the maximum articles are published in the years 2019 and 2020 with China contributed the largest number of documents. Network analysis of different parameters shows a good potential of the topic in terms of research. Conclusions: Scopus keyword search outcome has 204 articles with English language having the largest number. Authors, documents, country, affiliation etc are statically analyzed and indicates the potential of the topic. Network analysis of different parameters indicates that, there is a lot of scope to contribute in the further research in terms of advanced algorithms of artificial Intelligence. Heterogenous and voluminous unstructured data is produced from various sources like emails, social media tweets, reviews, videos, audio, images, PDFs, scanned documents, etc. Organizations need to store this wide range of unstructured data for more and longer periods so that they can examine information all the more profoundly to make a better decision and extracting useful insights. Manual processing of such unstructured data is always a challenging, time-consuming, and expensive task for any organization. Automating unstructured document processing using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Robotics Process Automation (RPA), seems to have limitations, as those techniques are driven by rules or templates. It needs to define the template or rules for every new input, which limits the use of rule or templates based techniques for unstructured document processing. The study upon which this article is based was to explore the Cataloguing Practices in the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Libraries (CCTML). Cataloguing is a structured arrangement of the bibliographic details of all the information sources available in a library. It produces an inventory that serves as access points to the library resources. Focus group discussion and document analysis were used to collect data. The findings revealed some missing data on the catalogue records. Quality control mechanism used was peer review. Despite advancements, challenges like inadequate infrastructure and limited funding persist.

The study investigated how librarians working in various university libraries in Kwara State, Nigeria, adopt and use artificial intelligence. The study raised four research goals as well as four research questions. A descriptive survey method and random sampling techniques with 450 randomly selected librarians from Kwara State Universities, Nigeria, were used for the research. Five research assistants were trained on how to contact respondents and secure their consent before distributing the structured questionnaire designed by the researcher, who assisted in the tool distribution process. The researcher was able to retrieve 410 copies of the 450 questionnaires that were given to the respondents. However, the rate of return was 91%, which is a respectable amount. A self-designed questionnaire was used to elicit responses from the respondents, and a simple percentage was adapted for data analysis. The results showed that there was little adoption of AI in university libraries in Kwara State, Nigeria. The research also reveals that security scanning devices at the entrances and exits of university libraries are the most prevalent AI systems, while other AI systems such as bots, chatbots, face recognition, touch recognition, RFID technologies, humans, AI classification tools, machine-readable catalogs, and not smart AI features are still missing from the Kwara State University libraries. A self-designed questionnaire was used to elicit responses from the respondents, and a simple percentage ratio was adapted for data analysis. The findings revealed that AI has received minimal attention in university libraries in Kwara State, Nigeria. According to the study, the most common AIs are security scanning equipment at university library entrances and exits, followed by robotics, chatbots, face recognition, and touch recognition. RFID technologies, humanoids, AI classification tools, machine-readable catalogs, and AI smart features are still lacking in Kwara State's university libraries. The results of this study also indicate that librarians in a university library are aware of the many ways in which artificial intelligence can be applied to provide services. The results of the study indicate that obstacles to adoption include significant disruption caused by artificial intelligence in traditional library services, a lack of skills and a need for training prior to adoption, irregular power supply, and a lack of adequate infrastructure for adoption, among other problems. The study recommended the need to organize training for librarians to enhance their skills in using artificial intelligence to provide services, and the university administration and libraries should commit and provide the necessary support for the adoption of artificial intelligence by providing the necessary infrastructure to ensure its rapid implementation. The researcher was able to retrieve 704 copies of the 848 questionnaires that were given to the responders. However, the return rate was 83%, which is a respectable amount. The descriptive statistics approach was used to analyse the data that the questionnaire produced. The results showed that there has been little adoption of AI in university libraries in Southern Nigeria. The research also reveals that security scanning devices at university libraries' entrances and exits are the most prevalent AIs, while other AIs like robots, chatbots, face recognition, touch recognition, RFID technologies, humanoids, AI classification tools, machine-readable catalogues, and AI smart features are still lacking in Southern Nigeria's university libraries. The results of this study also suggest that the university library's librarians are knowledgeable about the many ways that AI may be applied to provide services. The study's findings indicate that adoption hurdles include considerable disruption brought on by AI to conventional library services, a lack of skills and the need for training prior to adoption, erratic power supply, a lack of suitable infrastructure for adoption, among other problems. It was recommended in the study that training should be organized for librarians to boost their skills in the use of AI for service delivery and university and library management should be committed and give the needed support towards the adoption of AI by making available the needed infrastructure to ensure their swift implementation. This study aims to understand the perceptions and opinions of academicians towards ChatGPT-3 by collecting and analyzing social media comments, and a survey was conducted with library and information science professionals. Scopus analyzer is used for different types of analysis including documents by year, source, county and so on. There are other different analysis tools such as VOSviewer Version 1.6.15. This is used for the analysis of different units such as co-authorship, co-occurrences, citation analysis etc. Results: In our study, the Scopus search has the outcome of a total of 91 articles on explainability of AI from 2004 onwards. The topic is so popular and is newly introduced. The maximum articles are published in the year 2020. Computer science area contributed the largest number of articles of 37% and United states contributed most of the articles in the field. Network analysis of different parameters shows a good potential of the topic in terms of research. Conclusions: Scopus keyword search outcome has 91 articles with English language having the largest number of 90 and one is contributed in German language. Authors, documents, country, affiliation etc are statically analyzed and indicates the potential of the topic. Network analysis of different parameters indicates that, there is a lot of scope to contribute in the further research in terms of explainability in medical fields including diagnosis in imaging. There are advanced algorithms of computer vision, deep learning and machine learning are utilized in medical diagnosis as far as imaging is concerned. Information Technology Relateness is defined as the use of information technology infrastructure and information technology management processes between business units together. There is not much research on Information Technology Relateness by providing a big picture that is visualized from year to year. This study aims to map research in the field of Information Technology Relateness with data from all international research publications. This study performs a bibliometric method and analyzes research data using the Services Analyze Search Results from Scopus and the VOSviewer application. The data obtained in this study amounted to 307 academic documents published from 1981 to 2020 globally. The results showed that the institutions and individual researchers at the global level that were most productive in the publication of Information Technology Relateness were the University of Kentucky, KU Leuven, and Parent University, each with 5 and Kim C with 5 articles of documents. Most fields of study are computer sciences with 138 documents. Then the most publications occurred in 2015 as many as 31 documents, and documents per year based on sources of 7 from Lecture Notes In Computer Science Including Subseries Lecture Notes In Artificial Intelligence And Lecture Notes In Bioinformatics. The most document types in this field are in the form of articles. The most documents by country from the Information Technology Relateness Study are the United State with 82 and then China with 37 documents.
