Prepared by the Institute of Geography of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba, with collaboration with the Institute of Geography of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Printed by Directorate General of Geodesy and Cartography, USSR, September 1970. Published in Spanish and Russian. Atlas is in 132 pages, contains geographical, physical and historical maps, with descriptive text. At the end includes 11 pages of physical geography data, index to geographical names and publishing note “Podpisan k pechati s 2.III. 1970 g. po 25.VIII 1970g.”. Maps in full color, include legend, table, index, charts and diagrams. Showing political and administrative boundaries, major cities, capitals, roads, battle fields, rivers and mountains. Relief shown by contours, gradient tints, and spot heights. Depths shown by contours and gradient tints. Prime meridian: Greenwich and Ferro. Bound in gray paper covered hardboards, with title “Natsional'nyi Atlas Kuby” in gold and red on cover.
