There is a growing interest in the field of Aerial Manipulation systems where standard Unmanned Aerial Vehicles work in parallel with attached robotic manipulators in order to achieve tasks with the supervision or minimum supervision of the operating personnel. Such systems can be introduced in the field of Non-Destructive Testing and provide an alternative solution in monitoring the current state of systems and structures. This research project presents the design of a customized Unmanned Aerial Vehicle able to carry multiple payloads up to 3kg. The first chapter presents various Non-Destructive testing techniques and their implementation with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In the second chapter, a brief introduction on UAV’s and the implementation of a compact customized system made for Aerial Thermography is presented. In the third chapter, an improved design was made in order to carry a fully functional 4 DOF manipulator. Firstly, the proposed design was tested via finite element analysis (FEA) in order to confirm the rigidity of the drone frame under various flight states and under maximum load carried by the drone. The results of the FEA presented sufficient rigidity during take-off, hovering, and pitch states. Then the components required for implementing the system were selected and the wiring diagram of the system is presented. The design and simulation of the robotic manipulator is presented next as well as the complete assembly of the proposed system. Finally, the cost of manufacturing the parts required for assembly of the UAV and robotic manipulator frames, as well as the cost of all electronic components, is calculated., Pastaruoju metu vis daugiau dėmesio yra skiriama ore valdomoms sistemoms, kur standartinės nepilotuojamos oro transporto priemonės dirba lygiagrečiai su pritvirtintais robotais manipuliatoriais, kad pasiektų jiems iškeltas užduotis esant pilnam ar dalinam jų valdymui. Tokio pobūdžio sistemos gali būti naudojamos neardomųjų bandymų srityje, kur jos gali pasitarnauti kaip alternatyvus sprendimas stebint ir įvertinant esamąją sistemų ir struktūrų būklę. Šiame darbe projektuojamas bepilotis orlaivis, pritaikytas individualiems poreikiams ir galintis gabenti kelis skirtingus krovinius iki 3 kg svorio. Pirmajame skyriuje pateikiami įvairūs neardomųjų bandymų metodai ir jų įgyvendinimas naudojant bepiločius orlaivius. Antrajame skyriuje pateikiama trumpa apžvalga apie bepiločius orlaivius bei pristatoma sukurta kompaktiška sistema oro termografijai. Trečiajame skyriuje pristatomas patobulinta konstrukcija, pritaikyta veikiančiam keturių laisvės laipsnių roboto manipuliatoriaus gabenimui. Pirmiausia siūloma konstrukcija buvo išbandyta baigtinių elementų metodu (BEM), siekiant patvirtinti orlaivio rėmo tvirtumą esant skirtingoms skrydžio metu būsenoms ir didžiausiai orlaivio apkrovai. Baigtinių elementų metodo rezultatai parodė tvirtumą pakilimo, kybojimo ir tangažo būsenose. Toliau pateikiama informacija apie reikiamų komponentų pasirinkimą bei pristatoma sistemos pajungimo schema. Taip pat pateikiami roboto manipuliatoriaus konstrukcija bei modeliavimo rezultatai kartu su pilna visos sistemos surinkimo informacija. Pabaigoje apskaičiuojamos komponentų reikalingų bepiločio orlaivio ir roboto manipuliatoriaus konstrukcijoms integruoti išlaidos kartu su elektroninių komponentų išlaidomis.

Šiame baigiamajame darbe projektuojamas ir tiriamas universalus manipuliatoriaus griebtuvas. Apžvelgti skirtingų tipų griebtuvai, išanalizuoti panašaus pobūdžio griebtuvų patentai ir straipsniai. Aptarti valdymo būdai ir sistemos. Projektinėje ir tiriamojoje dalyse pasiūlyta griebtuvo struktūrinė schema, suprojektuotas griebtuvo modelis atitinkantis keliamus reikalavimus. Apskaičiuota reikalinga griebtuvo suspaudimo jėga ir parinktos servo pavaros. Su programa „Solidworks“ atlikti griebtuvo konstrukcijos patvarumo skaičiavimai. Parinkti reikalavimus atitinkantys jėgos ir atstumo jutikliai; pateikti pagrindiniai griebtuvo detalių brėžiniai. Sudaryta griebtuvo valdymo schema, nurodyti valdymo komponentai, sudarytas judesio algoritmas. Griebtuvo valdymui panaudotas „Arduino“ valdiklis, sudaryta valdymo programa. Baigiamojo darbo pabaigoje pateiktos išvados ir pasiūlymai., The design of the adaptive manipulator gripper is considered in this final Master‘s work. Various types of grippers are analyzed, the review of patents and scientific publications related to considered type grippers is made. The main control systems are discussed. In the project and research parts, the gripper layout scheme is proposed and designed gripper model, which meets requirements. Necessary pressure force of the gripper is calculated and actuators are chosen. Durability of gripper construction is calculated by using “Solidworks” software. Taking to the account the requirements, force and distance sensors are selected; drawings of the gripper components are provided. The scheme of the gripper control is made, control components are indicated and motion algorithm is provided. The “Arduino” controller was chosen for gripper control and control code was written. Conclusions and recommendations are presented in the final part of the thesis.
