Abstract

症例は49歳, 男性.呼吸困難, 胸痛, 気胸で発症.8ヵ月後, 呼吸困難と咳漱の増悪を主訴に当科を初診.胸部単純写真にて右胸壁腫瘤を認め, 経皮的腫瘍生検にて混合型びまん性悪性胸膜中皮腫と診断した.Cisplatinを主体とした多剤併用化学療法を5クール施行後, 温熱併用放射線療法を追加し, 著明な腫瘍縮小効果を認めた.自覚症状出現後2年5ヵ月, 治療開始後1年8ヵ月の現在, 生存中である.びまん性悪性胸膜中皮腫の予後は一般に不良であるが, 化学療法や温熱併用放射線療法などを組み合わた治療が有効である可能性が示唆された.
