With the development of chip design technology, the complexity of the chip is getting bigger and bigger, and various IP (Intellectual Property) is integrated to form SoC (System on Chip). In order to improve the efficiency of designing SoC, IP reuse technology is often used, so the development of IP has a wide range of significance and use value. The SPI bus is a bus protocol often used in chip communication and has many application scenarios. Therefore, this research mainly develops the SPI bus IP. During the development process, the SPI bus design is carried out, then based on the UVM verification methodology the designed IP has been functionally verified, and finally, a fully functional SPI bus design is obtained.

We demonstrate the possibility of dual-band unidirectional reflectionlessness in a non-Hermitian quantum system composed of a plasmonic waveguide and two end-coupled plasmonic cavities (PCs). Our scheme exhibits dual-band unidirectional reflectionlessness can be obtained at exceptional points by properly adjusting the coupling strength between two PCs, the ratio of decay rates of two PCs, and the ratio of plasmonic cavity-waveguide coupling strengths. As a valuable feature, the quality factor reaches to ∼175.4 in forward direction, while the backward quality factor is close to ∼188.2.

Purpose: We previously developed an age-scalable 3D computational phantom that has been widely used for retrospective whole-body dose reconstructions of conventional two-dimensional historic radiation therapy (RT) treatments in late effects studies of childhood cancer survivors. This phantom is modeled in the FORTRAN programming language and is not readily applicable for dose reconstructions for survivors treated with contemporary RT whose treatment plans were designed using computed tomography images and complex treatment fields. The goal of this work was to adapt the current FORTRAN model of our age-scalable computational phantom into Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard so that it can be used with any treatment planning system (TPS) to reconstruct contemporary RT. Additionally, we report a detailed description of the phantom’s age-based scaling functions, information that was not previously published. Method: We developed a Python script that adapts our phantom model from FORTRAN to DICOM. To validate the conversion, we compared geometric parameters for the phantom modeled in FORTRAN and DICOM scaled to ages 1 month, 6 months, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, and 18 years. Specifically, we calculated the percent differences between the corner points and volume of each body region and the normalized mean square distance (NMSD) between each of the organs. In addition, we also calculated the percent difference between the heights of our DICOM age-scaled phantom and the heights (50th percentile) reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for male and female children of the same ages. Additionally, we calculated the difference between the organ masses for our DICOM phantom and the organ masses for two reference phantoms (from International Comission on Radiation Protection (ICRP) 89 and the University of Florida/National Cancer Institute reference hybrid voxel phantoms) for ages newborn, 1, 5, 10, 15 and adult. Lastly, we conducted a feasibility study using our DICOM phantom for organ dose calculations in a commercial TPS. Specifically, we simulated a 6 MV photon right-sided flank field RT plan for our DICOM phantom scaled to age 3.9 years; treatment field parameters and age were typical of a Wilms tumor RT treatment in the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study. For comparison, the same treatment was simulated using our in-house dose calculation system with our FORTRAN phantom. The percent differences (between FORTRAN and DICOM) in mean dose and percent of volume receiving dose ≥5 Gy were calculated for two organs at risk, liver and pancreas. Results: The percent differences in corner points and the volumes of head, neck, and trunk body regions between our phantom modeled in FORTRAN and DICOM agreed within 3%. For all of the ages, the NMSDs were negliglible with a maximum NMSD of 7.80 × 10 − 2 mm for occiptital lobe of 1 month. The heights of our age-scaled phantom agreed with WHO/CDC data within 7% from infant to adult, and within 2% agreement for ages 5 years and older. We observed that organ masses in our phantom are less than the organ masses for other reference phantoms. Dose calculations done with our in-house calculation system (with FORTRAN phantom) and commercial TPS (with DICOM phantom) agreed within 7%. Conclusion: We successfully adapted our phantom model from the FORTRAN language to DICOM standard and validated its geometric consistency. We also demonstrated that our phantom model is representative of population height data for infant to adult, but that the organ masses are smaller than in other reference phantoms and need further refinement. Our age-scalable computational phantom modeled in DICOM standard can be scaled to any age at RT and used within a commercial TPS to retrospectively reconstruct doses from contemporary RT in childhood cancer survivors.

We propose a scheme to realize the active controlled dual-band unidirectional reflectionlessness at exceptional points by classical driving field in a non-Hermitian quantum system that consists of two Λ-type three-level quantum dots side coupled to a plasmonic waveguide. We demonstrate that the dual-band unidirectional reflectionlessness can be controlled by appropriately tuning classical driving field, phase shift between two quantum dots, dissipations of two quantum dots, and quantum dot-waveguide coupling strengths. Furthermore, the dual-band unidirectional reflectionlessness spectra with quality factors of ∼375.40 and ∼402.59 can be obtained in the forward and backward directions, respectively.

In this paper, we have investigated the quantum entanglement of quantum states undergoing decoherence from a spin environment which drives a quantum phase transition. From our analysis, we find that the entanglement dynamics depends not only on the coupling strength but also on the external magnetic field and the number of the freedom degrees of the environment. Specially, our results imply that the decay of the entanglement can be enhanced by the quantum phase transition of the environment when the system is coupled to the environment weakly. Additionally, the discussion of the case of the multipartite states with high dimensions is made.

Two schemes of quantum secret sharing are proposed via single electron spin confined in charged QDs inside a single-sided microcavity and a double-sided microcavity, respectively. Both schemes rely on coherent photonspin interaction. The two schemes are both deterministic and can be extended to multipartite secret sharing.

A scheme for approximate generation of an N-qubit phase gate is proposed in cavity QED based on nonidentical coupling between the atoms and the cavity. The atoms interact with a highly detuned cavity-field mode, but quantum information does not transfer between the atoms and cavity field, and thus the cavity decay is negligible. The gate time does not rise with an increase in the number of qubits. With the choice of a smaller odd number l (related to atom?cavity coupling constants), the phase gate can be generated with a higher fidelity and a higher success probability in a shorter time (the gate time is much shorter than the atomic radiative lifetime and photon lifetime). When the number of qubits N exceeds certain small values, the fidelity and success probability rise slowly with an increase in the number of qubits N. When N ? ?, the fidelity and success probability infinitely approach 1, but never exceed 1.

Based on squeezed operators this paper has implemented an ideal unconventional geometric quantum gate (GQG) in ion trap-optical cavity system by radiating the trapped ions with the cavity field of frequency ωc and an external laser field of frequency ωL. It can ensure that the gate time is shorter than the coherence time for qubits and the decay time of the optical cavity by appropriately tuning the ionic transition frequency ω0, the frequencies of the cavity mode ωc and the vibrational mode ν. It has also realized the unconventional GQG under the influence of the cavity decay based on the squeezed-like operators and found that the present scheme works well for the smaller cavity decay by investigating the corresponding fidelity and success probability.

Based on entanglement swapping, a scheme for the secret sharing of an arbitrary two-particle entangled state is proposed. If the controllers do not co-operate with the eavesdropper, the eavesdropper's successful probability decreases with the number of the controllers increasing. In addition, only the Bell-state measurements are required to realize the secret sharing scheme.

We propose a scheme to realize the nonlocal quantum entanglement of three three-level particles by using a three-particle entangled state of three levels as a quantum channel with the aid of some local unitary transformations. This scheme can be directly generalized to the nonlocal quantum entanglement of N three-level particles.

A scheme for remotely preparing a two-atom entangled state via entanglement swapping in cavity quantum electronic dynamics (QED) with the help of separate measurements is proposed. And the effect of cavity decay is eliminated in our scheme.

We propose a scheme for achieving unidirectional reflectionlessness and perfect nonreciprocal absorption at the exceptional point, based on near-field coupling in a stacked asymmetric nanostrip metamaterial structure. The result of theoretical analysis shows good agreement with a numerical simulation. Unidirectional reflectionlessness is realized well in wide ranges of the parameters s and a. The absorbance reaches ~1 in the +z incident direction, and the contrast ratio of the reflectance between the +z and −z incident directions is ~1.

Bulk nanocrystalline Co78Ni22 alloys with grain size ranging from 5 nm to 35 nm were prepared by high-speed jet electrodeposition (HSJED) and annealing. Microhardness and magnetic properties of these alloys were investigated by microhardness tester and vibrating sample magnetometer. Effects of grain size on these characteristics were also discussed. Results show that the microhardness of nanocrystalline Co78Ni22 alloys increases following a d −1/2-power law with decreasing grain size d. This phenomenon fits the Hall–Petch law when the grain size ranges from 5 nm to 35 nm. However, coercivity H c increases following a 1/d-power law with increasing grain size when the grain size ranges from 5 nm to 15.9 nm. Coercivity H c decreases again for grain sizes above 16.6 nm according to the d 6-power law.

Inoculation plays an effective role to refine the microstructure of as-cast aluminium alloys, which strongly depend on the effectiveness of the inoculants. In this work, a new concept of nano-(TiNb)C/(NbTi)/Al complex powder as an inoculant for refining the as-cast aluminium alloys was proposed, and the nano-(TiNb)C/(NbTi)/Al complex powder was prepared by mechanical alloying (MA) method, furthermore, the refining effectiveness of inoculation on A356 alloy was investigated. Results show that the nano-(TiNb)C/(NbTi)/Al complex powder consists of three phases of α-Al, nano-(TiNb)C and (NbTi) solid solution. The nano-(TiNb)C/(NbTi)/Al complex powder as an inoculant have higher refining effectiveness as well as good recyclability on the microstructure of cast A356 alloy, and improve the mechanical properties, especially the ductility.

In this article, we present a theoretical description of the various effects on femtosecond light pulse during its propagating through a long solid gain medium on the basis of Maxwell equations and rate equations. By numerical simulation, we analyzed the variation of pulse energy, pulse duration, pulse shape and spectral distribution due to gain saturation, spectral narrowing, phase-shift induced by gain, group-velocity dispersion and self-phase modulation.

Urinary tract infections are typical bacterial infections which result in a number of economic burdens. With increasing antibiotic resistance, it is urgent that new approaches are explored that can eliminate pathogenic bacteria without inducing drug resistance. Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a new promising tactic. It is a gentle in situ photochemical reaction in which a photosensitizer (PS) generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) under laser irradiation. In this work, we have demonstrated Chlorin e6 (Ce6) encapsulated charge-conversion polymeric nanoparticles (NPs) for efficiently targeting and killing pathogenic bacteria in a weakly acidic urinary tract infection environment. Owing to the surface charge conversion of NPs in an acidic environment, the NPs exhibited enhanced recognition for Gram-positive (ex. S. aureus) and Gram-negative (ex. E. coli) bacteria due to the charge interaction. Also, those NPs showed significant antibacterial efficacy in vitro with low cytotoxicity. The MIC value of NPs to E. coli is 17.91 μg ml(-1), compared with the free Ce6 value of 29.85 μg ml(-1). Finally, a mouse acute cystitis model was used to assess the photodynamic therapy effects in urinary tract infections. A significant decline (P < 0.05) in bacterial cells between NPs and free Ce6 occurred in urine after photodynamic therapy treatment. And the plated counting results revealed a remarkable bacterial cells drop (P < 0.05) in the sacrificed bladder tissue. Above all, this nanotechnology strategy opens a new door for the treatment of urinary tract infections with minimal side effects.

We propose a scheme for realizing plasmonic electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT)-like effects at optical frequencies in a stacked metamaterial that consists of two silver rings. The two silver rings are excited strongly by an incident wave. Based on Fabry–Perot (FP) resonance coupling between the two resonators, polarization-independent EIT-like effects appear at optical frequencies.

Based on the coupling of two distant three-level atoms in two separate optical cavities connected with two optical fibres, schemes on the generation of several two-qubit logic gates are discussed under the conditions of Δ = δ − 2νcos πk/2 g/2 and ν ~ g. Discussion and analysis of the fidelity, gate time and experimental setups show that our schemes are feasible with current optical cavity, atomic trap and optical fibre techniques. Moreover, the atom—cavity—fibre coupling can be used to generate an N-qubit nonlocal entanglement and transfer quantum information among N distant atoms by arranging N atom—cavity assemblages in a line and connecting each two adjacent cavities with two optical fibres.

We propose to implement a highly entangled cluster state (HECS) with only one step based on the resonant interactions among N two-level ions and two different standing-wave lasers with a phase difference of π/2. The time for preparation of the HECS is related only to the frequency of the vibrational mode ν (i.e. t=2π/ν). We can ensure that the preparation time is short enough by setting the larger vibrational mode frequency ν to neglect the effect of the decoherence of the qubits. During the process of preparing the HECS, the heating effect of the vibrational mode can be neglected and the initial qubits need only one evolution with the time interval t. The reduced operation steps and the shorter preparation time make the present scheme more feasible in experiments.

In this paper, we present a time-resolved pump-probe method based on cross- phase-modulation (XPM) to measure nonlinear response time. The nonlinear response time can be determined by comparing the self-frequency-shift curve obtained from the numerical calculation with the experimental results.
