The article shows the features of the use of information technology in the medicine. In the modern world, computer technology is an integral part of a medicine. With the help of information technologies, the doctor is able to visualize information at various stages of work, create and maintain a data bank associated with various information medical systems, and have access to expert systems for making a diagnosis. With the support of 3D modeling, 3D scanning and 3D printing, it has become permissible to form medical products that are extremely adapted to the individual characteristics of the person. This article discusses the positive aspects of the introduction of information technologies in medicine and the problems that hinder their implementation, at the same time, some ideas are proposed that are necessary to improve the quality of healthcare.

Transport safety assessment plays a huge role in theory and practice of implementation of transport management systems. It should be noted that ensuring the transport safety is inextricably linked to identification of potentially dangerous transport situations and their risk assessment. To better manage transport risks we propose to apply a new integrated approach which allows to take into account the source of the threat, the degree of objects’ protection, kinds of threats, extent of damage in the event of dangerous situations, magnitude of the dangerous situation. This approach is anchored to systematic analysis of causes and conditions of formation of dangerous situations. Also, it provides timely forecasting of their development and consequences. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new approach to transport risk assessment which will be able to effectively evaluate occurrence of dangerous transport situations. In this paper we present components of transport safety and provide a list of typical objects of transport infrastructure. Transport safety model and algorithm for identification of potentially dangerous transport situation is proposed. Also, we consider a new integrated approach based on transport risk assessment method. It is worth highlighting that the proposed method of transport risk assessment allows taking into consideration the uncertainty linked to the occurrence of dangerous transport situations and their conditions. The specified method can be widely used in modern geographic information systems for analysis of transport emergencies.

In this paper, we theoretically analyze the recombination and spin dynamics of excitons in an inhomogeneous ensemble of colloidal nanocrystals, which consists of several subensembles with different lifetimes and degrees of circular polarization of exciton photoluminescence (DCP). Each subensemble is described within a three-level model of interacting exciton states, including two excited states and a ground state. Various ratios of parameters, leading to a nontrivial time-dependent DCP and a difference in the integral and equilibrium DCP characteristics, are considered. It is shown that the presence of subensembles with different polarizations and lifetimes results in nonmonotonic dependence and a change in the sign of the DCP in magnetic field and as a function of time can occur. The theoretical model was implemented to describe the time dependences of the DCP in ensembles of colloidal CdSe nanoplatelets synthesized in the air and argon atmosphere.

The results of experiments on primary fragmentation of wood biomass particles during fast pyrolysis in an inert medium at different temperatures are presented. Growth of temperature and initial size in the range t = 800 – 950°C increases the probability and intensity of fragmentation in the process of rapid pyrolysis of wood particles. Oblong particles are more prone to fragmentation than quasi-circular (cubic) particles with the same equivalent diameter. The critical diameter of fragmentation for spruce wood particles at a process temperature of 950 °C is dv0 =18-19 mm at the ratio of longitudinal and transverse size h/a =1 and is in the range of 7-9 mm at h/a =8. Study of microstructure and chemical composition of coke particles (fragmentes) by microscope with SEM analysis showed existence of thin outer layer (0-15 μm) on the particle faces, containing increased quantity of mineral components. Microspheres with a size of 13-23 μm and increased content of sulfur were detected on the particle faces, resulting at 950°C. Coinciding of maximum and minimum of chlorine, sodium and potassium content in the outer layer denotes on existence of sodium and potassium chlorides on the surface of coke particles. Results of experimental studies of physical and chemical processes occurring between the fuel ash and the bed materials under prolonged temperature exposure were obtained. The aim of these studies was to determine the time and proportion of agglomerated (sintered) particles of several types of biomass depending on the bed temperature. The experiments were carried out in a furnace on biomass ash, sand and mixture of sand and ash. First experiments showed a clear dependence of the temperature of agglomeration beginning on the potassium concentration in the bed and gave the boundary values of the concentrations and temperatures in the bed.

Micro-photoluminescence studies of MoS2 nanotubes have shown that both direct and indirect excitonic transitions contribute to the emission spectra despite the fact that dozens of monolayers are inside their walls and, therefore, only indirect exciton emission would be expected. In addition, the intensity of the indirect exciton band increases with temperature in contrast to the direct exciton band, the intensity of which decreases. The same effects are observed for MoS2 flakes. To describe these phenomena, we propose a theoretical model that considers the balance between exciton transitions taking into account the spin-forbidden exciton states.

The author of the article addresses the issues of obtaining insulation products based on flax shives. The article suggests a systematization method for the flax shives based materials, which takes into account the principle of obtaining construction materials based on flax processing waste on various types of binders. It is based on the literature data and the existing research. The possibility of using flax shives as a large structure-forming aggregate of concrete is determined along with the composition and properties of organic aggregate - flax shives. The article presents the optimal ratios selection of flax and binding bonfires in the preparation of granular materials. The characteristics of granulated aggregates on the basis of flax shives are given. The manufacture of cob granules was carried out in two technological ways: on a complex binder and on mineral binders with “dusting” with portland cement. The the method involving the coating of granules with a cement shell was used to produce a granulated material with higher rates of adhesion to the hardened stone of mineral binders in the concrete composition. The technological parameters of the granulation process are determined for two technological methods.

In the article we considered the technological modes of obtaining heat-insulating materials on the basis of flax boon. The technology of gas-concrete blocks on the basis of flax boon production is given. The data on the structure and properties of organic aggregate (flax boon) are presented.

A theoretical analysis is made of the characteristics of the operation of two coupled solid-state lasers under conditions of intracavity second harmonic generation. The requirements in respect of the initial phase detuning and the initial frequency detuning of the resonators for the first and second harmonics are formulated in discussing the steady-state problem. It is shown that depending on the nonlinear conversion efficiency, the locking band may differ considerably (by a factor of 1.5–2) from the case when nonlinear conversion does not occur in the lasers. The dependences of the degree of the temporal synchronization on the coupling coefficient are obtained for single-pulse lasers in a wide range of values of the nonlinear conversion coefficient, initial detunings, and excitation power. The results are given of an investigation of the phase-frequency synchronization of pulsed lasers. The dependences of the degree of frequency synchronization on the conversion coefficient, frequency detuning, and coupling coefficient are obtained.
