Sudden fluctuation in voltage may cause a serious problem in industries and home appliances. These fluctuations may significantly impact the power quality as well as the reliability of other voltage controlling devices. However, this paper discussed about designing for under voltage and over voltage protection to protect and extend the lifespan of home, office and industrial equipments. The AC voltage sensor module ZMPT101B is used in detecting a voltage of -6% of the rated voltage and it is recognized as under voltage while 10% of the rated voltage is recognized as upper voltage. The rated voltage of single phase is normally supply 230 V. Moreover, the sensor is attached with ESP 8266 WiFi platform so that the user can observe the voltage condition through Blynk application. As a conclusion, the combination of voltage protection system through Internet of Thing (IoT) device may contribute to the user.

Eddy current test (ECT) is one of the techniques for accurate testing as well as widely used in the aircraft and nuclear industry. Changes in thickness due to corrosion will affect the measurement of defects on pipes or plates. This will make an irrelevant decision as to whether the defect that occurs on the work piece is the thickness of the paint or corrosion. This problem can lead to the occurrence of leaking pipes, apart from the deterioration of the company’s productivity and most importantly endangering the safety of employees. Meanwhile, eddy current testing is one of the methods in NDT used to detect cracks or corrosion on the surface of carbon steel. In this work, GMR Eddy Current sensor is used to measure the corrosion on carbon steel pipes, and a permanent magnet is used to generate the magnetic field for corrosion detection. Also, this system is configured with an IoT Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) drone platform to facilitate access at different heights during the inspection process. The change of voltage amplitude at the GMR sensor on the test material proves the conditioning of the material either normal or corrosive. The result shows that when corrosion occurs on the pipe, the voltage amplitude increases up to 0.5% higher than normal. Finally, the metal loss is higher when the corrosion area is larger and at the same time it is directly proportional to the voltage amplitude

The experiment was conducted in the animal field of the first agricultural research station of the College of Agriculture, Al-Muthanna University, it is located in the Umm al-Akf region, 12 km southwest of Samawah, from 20/10/2021 to 20/1/2022. A total 12 male goats were used at the age of four months, were numbered and randomly assigned to four treatments, each treatment contains 3 animals, the animals were placed in adjacent and separated enclosures. Treatments as follows: T1 (control), T2 adding 5 g/kg of crushed rosemary leaves and T3 adding 5 g/kg of licorice root powder, T4 (the mixture treatment), adding 5 g/kg of crushed rosemary leaves and 5 g/kg of licorice root powder. no significant differences in all blood cellular traits (WBC, RBC, Hb and PCV). A significant increase in the concentration of cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, glucose, protein, albumin and globulin, uric acid, ALP, ALT, phosphorous and calcium in T4 treatment over to the others.

Radiation is a form of energy, its emitted either in the form of particles such as α-particles and β-particles (beta particles including the electron and the positron) or waves such as sunlight, X-rays and γ-rays. Radiation found everywhere around us and it comes from many different sources naturally or man-made sources. In this study a questionnaire was distributed to people working in the field of X-rays that used for a medical imaging (X-ray and CT-scan) to evaluate the extent of awareness and knowledge in estimate the damage of ionizing radiation as a result of wrong use. The questionnaire was distributed to medical clinics in Al-Harithiya in Baghdad, which it’s considered as one of the important areas in Iraq to attract and treat patients. It’s found that most of the commitment of radiography clinics by safety and security procedures. Most of the radiology clinics abide by most of the Iraqi Ministry of Health laws. However, some clinics did not implement some of the security and safety conditions

Cement is amongst the most polluting materials utilized in the building sector, contributing to a variety of hazardous pollutants, including greenhouse gas emissions. This raises health impacts related to the manufacture of cement. As a result, a substitute substance for conventional cement with low environmental effects and better building characteristics is required. The purpose of the study would be to look at the consequences of using supplementary cementitious materials (SCMS) to substitute cement in a concrete mix partially. This study employed silica fume (SF) and cement kiln dust (CKD) as supplementary cementitious materials. Several concrete mixtures were created by substituting cement by a combination of SF and CKD in three proportions which that 25%, 35%, and 45% within curing periods of (one week and four weeks); the concrete mixtures were tested. The ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) test has been used to investigate the concrete mixture’s strength in this study. The findings show that the optimal proportion of SF replacement cement and CKD involvement ranged from 25% to 35%. The pulse velocity of specimens improves when the proportion of CKD and SF increases to the optimal percentage, while the larger amounts of these by-products begin to lower the pulse velocity of specimens.

This paper describes a controller for Three-Phase Induction Motor. Induction motor is an electromechanical actuator widely used due to its reliability and relatively low maintenance cost. However, the control problem of an induction motor is complex due to nonlinearities, load torque perturbation, and parameter uncertainties. An element included in this study is voltage source control, which is to control the voltage fed from three-phase inverter to Three-Phase Induction Motor. Hysteresis Controller was proposed in this paper to minimize voltage error. Hysteresis controller is seen as an input – output phase lag corrector. The implementation of the designed hysteresis controller is performed in simulation using MATLAB/Simulink. The result proved that the proposed controller design can minimize the line voltage error of the induction motor, preventing the line voltage from being kept low hence avoiding excess current at low speeds.

Mixed dielectric films of ZnS and MgF2 have been modeled in IR (3μm) band to reduce a reflectance from ZnS substrate which is around 14%. Reflectance value are enhanced starting from a mixed quarter single layer, double and triple layer as innermost and intermediate layers (quarter-quarter-quarter) and (quarter-half –quarter) ARC’s. The designed layers are optimized with Zemax-EE operand to reach the target by varying their thickness and refractive indices simultaneously . The analysis has shown that the proposed mixing multilayer construction are very effective in enhancing the transmittance for ZnS.

The aim of the project was to design a smart control LED downlight and socket using IoT system with QR security. It was proposed to solve the user problem when they forget to switch OFF the LED downlight and socket when they are not around. The function of this system is to control and monitor the ON/OFF the LED downlight and socket by using Internet of Things (IOT). Only user with Quick Response (QR) code can control and monitor the system.

The purpose of present paper is to introduce and investigate the univalence criteria of holomorphic functions by employ a basically general form of Srivastava-Attiya operator. In specific, we derive several sufficient conditions of univalence for the generalized Srivastava-Attiya operator. Furthermore, number of famous univalent conditions would follow across specializing the parameters involved. Relevant connections with other related previous works are also indicating.

The technical merit of the proposed method is using multiple techniques that fused in each processing part of filtering, segmentation, and features. The originality is to select the best technique depending on some measurements for implementation. Aiming for better enhancement of selected MRI of AlKindy Hospital Patients, as case study, to get efficient diagnose process is the purpose of the current technique using MATLAB that include smoothing, segmentation, feature extraction and classification. The method uses two filters (Median and Slantlet) and two segmentation methods are used (K-mean cluster and Morphological operation) and the area size is used in feature extraction. The experimental results classification is indicating that 50% of the used images are medium cases of brain tumor and 10% low stage both can be treated, while 40% is of high cases of brain tumor reflected that the treatment is difficult.

This paper, suggest the solution of a dynamic non-homogenous longitudinal pitch-mode flying body equation to analysis motion stability by determining the transfer function of a pitch mode control system from feedback control system diagram. It used a flying actuator design system to estimate optimum system stability and control using the time response method and root locus diagram for different gain values (K) and Gyro sensitivity values (GR) to obtain the best stability, peak value and time response. The results shows that the best stability and control behavior are achieved when K=1.4 and GR=1.2.

Random matrix theory is used to study the chaotic properties in nuclear energy spectrum of the 24Mg nucleus. The excitation energies (which are the main object of this study) are obtained via performing shell model calculations using the OXBASH computer code together with an effective interaction of Wildenthal (W) in the isospin formalism. The 24Mg nucleus is assumed to have an inert 16O core with 8 nucleons (4protons and 4neutrons) move in the 1d5/2, 2s1/2 and 1d3/2 orbitals. The spectral fluctuations are studied by two statistical measures: the nearest neighbor level spacing distribution P(s) and the Dyson-Mehta statistics (∆3 statistics). For calculations with the full diagonalization of the Hamiltonian, the spectral fluctuations are found to be in agreement with the Gaussian orthogonal ensemble of random matrices.

An Al0.75Ga0.25N/Al0.6Ga0.4N heterostructure field effect transistor with graded MBE-regrown contacts is designed, grown, and fabricated on AlN/sapphire substrate. Maximum drain current density (ID,max) of 460 mA mm−1 was obtained on transistors with gate length of 130 nm. The small signal measurement shows current/power gain cutoff frequency (fT/fmax) of 40 GHz/58 GHz, respectively. Parasitic resistance is found to be a significant factor limiting the frequency performance of the devices. The high frequency performance of devices with high Al concentration AlGaN channel demonstrate potential for high power and high frequency applications.

Oxide-dispersed-strengthened (ODS) steel has excellent mechanical, thermodynamic and radiation resistant properties, which makes it an important candidate material for high-temperature reactors applications. Radiation stability of oxide is very important to study at the atomic level. In present case molecular dynamics (MD) simulation is used to study stabilities of Y2O3 particles in ODS steel as a function of particle sizes. The size dependence is obvious for particle sizes larger than 2.8 nm. Furthermore, the stabilities depend on charges of Y and O atoms.

Variation propagation control is one of the procedures used to determine product quality in the manufacturing assembly process. The quality of a product assembly is also greatly dependent on the product type and the optimization criteria employed in the assembly. This paper presents three procedures for optimizing the assembly of component stacks by controlling variation propagation. The procedures considered are: (i) straight-build assembly by minimizing the distances from the centres of components to table axis; (ii) parallelism-build assembly by minimizing the angular errors between actual and nominal planes; (iii) target-axis-build assembly by minimizing the distances from the centres of components to a target axis. Simulation results are presented for the assembly of four cylindrical components. The results show that the variation can be reduced significantly by optimization; for example, Procedure 1 can reduce the variation by 48%, Procedure 2 by 63% and Procedure 3 by 35%, compared to assembly without the minimization. The results also show that the 3 proposed assembly methods have reasonable consistency, the maximum of the standard deviation is 0.0726 mm in Procedure 1, 3.5×10−4 rad in Procedure 2, and 0.029 mm in Procedure 3. These demonstrate that the three assembly techniques are fully functional on their own. Thus, the relevant assembly techniques need to be selected carefully in accordance with the particular industrial application.
