The impact of societal and economic development on academic performance is a circle that needs to be established by the developing economies. This research aims to identify the factors that are associated with increased academic performance in Pakistan which is found to be challenging. This study collected secondary qualitative data from 30 research studies published in global and international journals which helped in investigating the role of societal and economic development on academic performance. It is suggested that the country invests in its educational sector and provide an improved outlook to the economy and aid the society which will, in turn, benefit the academic performance of the whole country. Therefore, it is concluded that societal and economic development play an important role in determining academic performance.

This paper aims to study the major phases of participative Islamic banks development in the country of Morocco, and the evolution of the participative banking landscape from the introduction of this new financial industry. The paper starts by presenting a historical overview of the first steps of Islamic finance in Morocco. This study sheds light on the first experience of launching Islamic banking products and the constraints that have hindered their development. Secondly, the paper presents the new successful start of Islamic finance in Morocco, which is reflected by the effective launch of participative banks and windows. The paper presents and analyzes the evolution of the participative banking landscape in Morocco between 2017 and 2019, based on statistical data from reports published by the central bank of this country (Bank Al-Maghrib). The findings of this study show that Morocco's monetary authorities have drawn important lessons from the first experience of launching Islamic banking products so-called alternative products. Indeed, the successful development of participative banks in Morocco requires a favorable and encouraging political, economic, and legal environment. This paper also shows that although the ecosystem of this new banking industry is still incomplete, there is a rapid evolution of Morocco's participative banking landscape.

The objective of this research paper is to analyze the status of women in Pakistan in other words status provided to women in Pakistani family structure and also to analyze its status in Islam. This study describes to what extent, women were oppressed and abused by way of every attainable method in societies. This study has collected secondary data from books, research papers, journals and different reports. It is noted that women facing violence at various stages in their life in Pakistan. The teaching of Islam is neglected here regarding women's status. It was concluded that, With regards to Pakistan, the indispensable issue is that our religion Islam has not had the option to cancel the exceptionally old un-Islamic and furthermore cruel social indecencies that are being exercised in the land. Hence, ancestral family, tribal imagery has gotten more prevailing and helpful than the confidence of Islam. So it was recommended that the government should maintain the status of women according to teaching of Islam.

Poverty reduction is the fundamental task and issue for developing economies like Pakistan. This study uses annual data set from 1987 to 2018 and implies the ARDL method for data analysis. The data has been taken from economic surveys of the Federal statistics house (FSH) of Pakistan. The finding shows the bidirectional causality between poverty and FDI. The outcome of this study also reveals that the causal effects of FDI on reducing poverty are stronger than poverty reduction effects on FDI.
