Micro-nano Fe2O3 particles with different morphologies were prepared by a hydrothermal method under different reaction conditions using FeC13 and ammonia as raw materials. The crystallinity and morphology of the products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. By studying the influence of different pH, reaction temperature, concentration of reaction solution. Ammonia acceleration on the products, the optimum conditions of micro-nano Fe2O3 particles were determined. The optical absorption properties of the optimum conditions of micro-nano Fe2O3 were characterized by ultraviolet visible near infrared (UV-Vis-NIR) absorption spectrometer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
