Abstract
The article reports that the National Transition Council of the government of the Central African Republic (CAR) has voted to create a special criminal Court (SCC) to address the atrocities in the country. It mentions the Court will investigate serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the CAR including crimes against humanity. It also mentions the role of the United Nations in the CAR to arrest several suspects allegedly involved in serious crimes.
