Abstract

The article discusses the findings of a recent reader survey conducted by the Community Eye Health Journal. Most of the readers of the journal are from Africa and Southeast Asia, with ophthalmic nurses representing 33 percent of readers. The positive impact of the journal was evident from 91 percent of respondents using the journal to teach or educate others, including patients and the community, and 80 percent finding something in the journal that led them to change their clinical practice.
