Larysa Masenko, “Surzhyk: Mizh Movoju i Jazykom”. Vydavnychyĭ Dim “Kiievo-Mohylians'ka Akademiia”, Kyiv 2019, Ss. 232 The reviewed monography is the first vast paper on the phenomenon of the Ukrainian–Russian linguistic contacts. The second edition is extended to include new scientific publications and completed with the respondents answers. The study as a whole depicts the etymology of the name of the phenomenon (Surzhyk), tries to place the phenomenon in the theory of linguistic contacts and gives examples of the use in the respondents answers, literature and the Internet. The Urbanonimia of Ukraine in the Context of Decommunization This article concerns the changing situation regarding toponyms in Ukraine, from the country’s regaining of independence to the present day. The article identifies two waves of decommunization. The first occured between the regaining independence in 1991 and 1995. The second wave began with the Revolution of Dignity in 2013–2014 and continues to this day. In the second part of the article, toponyms connected with Poland are presented and the reasons behind their creation are explained. Toponimia miejska na Ukrainie w kontekście dekomunizacji Artykuł traktuje o sytuacji w zakresie zmian toponimów na Ukrainie od czasu odzyskania niepodległości do dnia dzisiejszego. Autorzy wyróżniają dwie fale dekomunizacji, pierwszą od odzyskania przez Ukrainę niepodległości w 1991 roku do 1995 roku. Druga fala rozpoczęła się wraz z rewolucją godności w latach 2013-2014 i trwa do dziś. W drugiej części artykułu przedstawiono toponimy związane z Polską, a także uzasadnienie ich powstania.

Ukrainian, Polish and Russian trilingualism among Ukrainians of non-Polish origin living in Poland This article examines the socio-linguistic situation of Ukrainian migrants who live in Poland but who do not have Polish origins. After presenting the issue and describing the group in question, the article then describes the locations where the languages are used, the personae of the interlocutors, and their emotional attitudes towards each of the languages. Trójjęzyczność ukraińsko-rosyjsko-polska Ukraińców niepolskiego pochodzenia mieszkających w Polsce W niniejszym artykule została przedstawiona sytuacja socjolingwistyczna migrantów z Ukrainy, którzy nie mają polskiego pochodzenia. Po zarysie problematyki i opisie przedstawionej grupy zostały przedstawione miejsca posługiwania się językami, osoby interlokutorów oraz stosunek emocjonalny do każdego ze znanych respondentom języków.
