The development of digital circuits that are capable of interfacing superconductive electronic chips with high speed 50-ohms transmission lines is reported. The transfer of digital data at speeds of 1 Gigabit per second has been achieved from a Josephson chip in the first cryostat to another Josephson chip located in a second cryostat. The study showed the possibility of integrating low-power Josephson digital circuits into a multichip digital subsystem capable of high rate data transmission without the use of semiconductor amplifiers.
