Abstract

The article studies the effects of multilayering, as well as Ag-doping on the properties and performance of the [YBa.sub.2][Cu.sub.3][O.sub.7] (YBCO) films. The analysis reveals that silver doping increases the value critical current densities at relatively low fields.

Abstract

The effect of doping of the single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) on the phase formation, critical current density and the upper critical field of [MgB.sub.2] superconductor is studied. The doping is found to enhance these properties of the superconductors.

Abstract

The study demonstrates the influence of the ball-milled low purity boron powder on the superconductivity of [MgB.sub.2] samples. The analysis reveals that such boron powder using toluene gives better homogeneity and current density to the samples.

Abstract

The effects of different levels of benzoic acid doping on various electromagnetic properties of [MgB.sub.2] superconductors are being discussed. The doping is found to be very advantageous, as it increases the carbon substitution level and reduces the agglomerate impurities.
